Cow creamer
ARTIST / MAKER:John Schuppe (maker)
DATE:1761 (made)
PLACE:London (made)
MATERIALS AND TECHNIQUES:Cast, engraved and applied silver
Weak, green tea was initially favoured by wealthy Europeans, as was traditional in China. By the 1720s, the British had developed a taste for oolong and black teas. To counter the taste of more bitter brew, varieties such as Bohea, Pekoe and Souchong were taken with milk or cream, which created a demand for decorative jugs to hold these additions and became an essential part of the tea service.
This silver milk jug takes the form of a cow, with its tail curled over to form the handle. The cow’s open mouth forms the spout, while the hinged lid on its back, engraved with blossoms and cast with a resting fly, would have allowed the vessel to be refilled. Commonly referred to as a cow creamer, this shape first appeared in Britain in 1753 and was popularised by the Dutch silversmith John Schuppe, who immigrated to London in the 1750s. Although Schuppe’s are considered the earliest and finest examples, a large number of cow creamers were made by other Dutch and German silversmiths, while many British ceramic manufacturers produced examples in lead-glazed earthenware.
Tea Leaf went to see the Craft of Tea Exhibition at the Goldsmiths' Centre, in London, England.

The Legal Landscape of Celebrity Photography in London
In the glitzy world of celebrity photography, navigating the legal landscape is as important as capturing the perfect shot. For those looking to add a touch of stardom to their events without crossing legal boundaries, renting fake paparazzi provides a unique solution. This blog explores the legal considerations involved in celebrity photography and how renting fake paparazzi can be a smart and lawful choice for enhancing your event.
1. Understanding the Legal Framework
Celebrity photography is governed by a complex set of legal regulations designed to protect privacy and prevent harassment. In London, the legal framework ensures that celebrities’ rights are respected, balancing public interest with individual privacy. Photographers must adhere to strict guidelines to avoid breaching laws related to privacy, harassment, and image rights.
2. Privacy Laws and Celebrity Rights
In the UK, privacy laws are robust and designed to safeguard individuals from unwanted intrusion. Celebrities, despite their public status, are entitled to a certain level of privacy. This means that capturing images without consent can lead to legal consequences. Understanding these laws is crucial for anyone involved in celebrity photography, ensuring that all activities are conducted within legal boundaries.
3. Renting Fake Paparazzi: A Legal Alternative
Renting fake paparazzi offers a legal way to bring the excitement of celebrity photography to your event without infringing on privacy laws. Fake paparazzi simulate the experience of high-profile coverage in a controlled, consensual environment. They are ideal for creating a buzz and enhancing the atmosphere of your event while ensuring compliance with legal requirements.
4. The Benefits of Fake Paparazzi
When you rent fake paparazzi, you’re opting for a playful and controlled approach to event photography. Unlike real paparazzi, fake paparazzi work with your event planners to create a tailored experience. This means that every aspect of the “paparazzi” experience is pre-arranged, from the style of photography to the interactions with guests, ensuring that everything remains within the bounds of the law.
5. Ensuring Compliance with Legal Standards
Even when renting fake paparazzi, it’s essential to ensure that all activities comply with legal standards. This involves clear communication with your event planners and photographers to ensure that consent is obtained, and that all interactions are respectful and professional. By taking these steps, you can enjoy the fun of celebrity-style photography while avoiding potential legal pitfalls.
6. How Renting Fake Paparazzi Enhances Your Event
Renting fake paparazzi adds a touch of glamour and excitement to any event, providing a unique experience for guests. It creates the illusion of high-profile coverage, making your event feel special and memorable. Additionally, because fake paparazzi operate within a legal framework, you can enjoy this experience with peace of mind, knowing that all legal considerations have been addressed...read more

Provide the right information: When booking your Gatwick airport taxi transfer, make sure you provide the right information. This includes your flight number, arrival time, and destination. This will help the Airport Transfer company to plan your journey and ensure that everything runs smoothly.
Be prepared for your journey: Before you set off on your Gatwick airport taxi transfer, make sure you're prepared for your journey. This means packing everything you need, such as passports, tickets, and travel documents. You should also check the weather forecast and dress appropriately for your destination.
Relax and enjoy the ride: Once you're on your Gatwick airport taxi transfer, it's time to relax and enjoy the ride. You'll be able to sit back and enjoy the scenery while your driver takes care of the rest. If you need any help or information during your journey, don't hesitate to ask your driver.
Explore the area: If you have some time before or after your flight, you can also make the most of your UK's Taxi transfer by exploring the area. There are plenty of attractions and sights to see in and around Gatwick airport, such as the Crawley Museum or the historic St. Nicholas Church. Thess vs Local Council Elections
It was local council elections yesterday. Not for me - my local council isn’t having elections at the moment, same as basically all of Lodnon - but for a lot of other places.
(That’s a thing - when my time does come for general election stuff, I need to put in for a postal vote. I can’t seem myself hobbling up and down the hill to wait in a queue, dig out my photo ID - because this is actually happening now - and then stand at one of those tiny little booths voting.)
Anyway. There is good news, and there is bad news.
Good news: the Tories have lost over 800 seats. I say ‘over’ because it was 800 and when I went to double-check it was 813, and then went to look ant it was 835. I don’t think they’re going to make any gains that will get them to less than 800 at this point.
The bad news: Labour picked up over 500.
Why is that bad, you ask? When we mostly just want the Tories out? Yeah, we do. Which is exactly why we don’t necessarily want Labour in, either.
I’m sorry, but they really are just the Tories with a different coloured tie at this point. Labour’s policies are in lockstep with Tory policies, and they’re not going to magically stop behaving like Tories if they win. Local government is probably okay. National government is probably something else again. Starmer is just a different type of out-of-touch asshole than Sunak is.
So, yeah, glad the Tories are taking a kicking (it’s shit like this that made Theresa May resign, so lightning may strike twice, we never know. Though ... given everything, not sure we want the reputation for the country that had four Prime Ministers in a single 12-month period), but not happy Labour are coming out on top here. Though Lib Dem and the Greens are making hay, by their own standards. So maybe that’ll show that those two parties aren’t a wasted vote after all. Stranger things have happened.
Gods, tomorrow’s the fucking coronation; as if I didn’t have enough to roll my eyes at about this country. But the forecast is for rain basically all day tomorrow, so that’s something. Shame the ceremony itself is indoors, though.

also esme hardcastle is apparently making the family tree?? i’m so curious to see how that turns out lol cause she’s asking people how many kids they plan to have 😂 so maybe this explains that unhinged family tree
Yes! The sheer unhinged energy radiated by Esme Hardcastle to go around the Lodnon enclave and ask indecent questions and make up her own stories of the shadowhunters of her generation? Immaculate.
#when she goes around asking them how many children they want I just find it so chaotic I can't not smile#When esme asked Alastair if his mother was married to a frenchman and killed him and he took alastair's annoyance as apporval of murder#She*#sorry again it's late but I love your asks I'm just being very bad a communication#odd way to make sense of the family tree (a way to cover up inconsistency) but also the fuuniest#cece tag#mutuals#chain of thorns spoliers#cot spoilers#chot spoilers
