“Hey, babe,” Flint perked up as Brent spoke. He didn’t think he would ever get used to pet names.

“Yeah?” He looked up at his boyfriend who was seated on the couch next to him.

“Can I get a kiss?” Brent wrapped his arm around the other, making him shiver.

“Oh-Um…N-Now?” He rubbed his hands on his pants. Brent noticed his fidgeting and took one of his hands in his own.

“Please?” He drew out the word in an effort to persuade his uneasy partner.

The inventor heaved a sigh in an effort to be rid of his jitters and nodded. “Okay.” He smiled and sucked in a breath of air and started to slowly lean in.

After a moment Flint peaked an eye open and saw that Brent hadn’t puffed up his cheeks like he had. Instead he was giggling. Flint let go of the breath that he was holding with a small nervous laugh. “What?” He felt his face grow warm as he turned to look at the wall.

“What were you doing?” Brent said with a smile still plastered on his face.

“You said you wanted a kiss.” Flint said quietly.

“That’s how you do it?” Brent let go of Flint’s hand in favor of pushing one of his curls back and up. A small smile forced it’s way onto the brunette’s face.

“I…never really looked into…how to do it.” Brent started giggling more.

“Lemme show you how then.” He cupped Flint’s face and guided it to his own. He had to force himself to stop chuckling before he placed a quick peck on the inventor’s lips.

“O-Oh.” Brent giggled and gave him another one, and another, and another. “Brent!” Flint said between pecks, starting his own fit of giggles as well.

“Practice makes perfect.” Brent smirked and started kissing him over and over between their giggles

“You’re- the worst.” Flint hid his face in Brent’s chest so he could catch his breath. His words were still spoken through a smile.
