I think there have been some confusion.

(AND of course the carousel on Tik Tok as well) So you can honestly decide yourself where to see the update, the youtube premiere is mostly a test for me for future projects, but also so that the experience is a little bit more immersive.

I’ve heard of Red Son’s internship but idk much of it but I do think Red Son celestial customer service arc is funny, so yeah this is canon,,, somehow Red Son gets an internship with Guanyin and that’s how he ends up with the time traveling artifact that yoinks MK to the past

Honestly though id kill for them to bring Ao Lie back as a regular cast member. He's the only original pilgrim they could do it with without compromising the main cast. Since Mei is explicitely his descendent, not reincarnation. And the small glimpse of him we got made him a very fun character already.

And Dragon shenanigans aside i think it would be a breath of fresh Air to give Wukong someone to interact with from his past that he isnt on bad terms with for once. No vengence plots, no delusional scapegoating, just a friend he can actually have casual interactions with.

i feel like its pretty unlikely that we get ao lie back, but if we do i hope we get dragon shenanigans

I really like this idea where Macaque is a celestial primate, directly under the celestial orders, who, for one reason or another (maybe for a peace offer or a trade), ends up married to Wukong.

For a couple of years, he tried to be nice, kind, and as complacent as he could for political motives; after all, he doesn't want to start a war between the all-mighty Monkey King and, the, mostly, unstoppable forces of heaven.

But one day, he just can't handle it anymore, and he explodes. Wukong is really hurt by this; he KNOWS that Macaque is with him only to avoid any conflict and never dares to think otherwise. However, he was hoping that he would at least see him as a friend.

The thing that hurt the most was realizing that the monkey he cares so much about, the one who step by step was becoming such an important part of his life, only thought of him as a job that he HAD to do.

Im working in modern AU and their human form

For me, macaque will be blassian. Because you know, he has six ears that different from other monkey. In this AU he has different color skin from other his friend.

Wukong will have similar features in his human form to Erlang, symbolizing that they possess comparable power and skill.

In this AU, nothing bad happens. Everyone is friends, and I’m happy enough not to cry over them.
