[During a blackout at the Monastery]
Cole: Jay, I'm starting to think this is a really bad idea.
Nya: I'm not Jay, I'm Nya. I thought you were Jay.
Cole: No, I'm Cole.
Jay: You're Cole? Where's Pixal?
Cole: Who are you?
Jay: I'm Jay.
Lloyd: *chuckles* Guess who I am, you guys.

The headcanon that Oni eyes makes them glow in the dark is kinda funny to me-
Especially since I headcanon Lloyd to have like evil-looking eyes.
So like that must’ve been a huge jumpscare for anyone in the team when they found Lloyd sitting alone in the dark eating a midnight snack.

Kai headcanons because I’m tired and cant think of anything else:
Kai both does and doesn’t have a concept of monetary value. Like imagine they go grocery shopping and they need to buy essentials like ingredients, veggies, hygiene stuff to stock up on. Like usually whenever the other ninja went with their families they were able to buy some extras like candy or toys, maybe some more clothes despite having many just cause they like it or smth. With Kai? This guy slaps it out of their hands and says it’s not worth the waste when they’re only here for essentials. Wu gave them money for that only, so they best budget and make sure they can buy everything they need and maybe some extras of those things or else. None of them realise how confused Wu is when a proud Kai returns believing he saved up money by being smart and responsible, when Wu actually gave them extras to use there as like an implied thing. But when it comes to things of value, this guys has no idea what to do, take for example with Ronin. He had no idea how much the thing could cost but knew they had to pay it or else. But he’s also horrible at negotiating because he can’t properly understand the worth of what they’re negotiating the deal on and can’t see when it might be worse or better.
Kai was a shockingly quiet kid. Like yes he was still ‘aggressive’ and rude, but like never spoke on his own. Nya was always the talker between the two, but even she doesn’t talk as much as often. So usually Kai would silently accept a lot of things as a child until he grew older and got a bit of an attitude so despite being often silent that one quiet kid in the back who does everything right will and probably has cussed you out if you step out of line.
Nya actually cut Kai’s hair when they were younger because she was bored and Kai fell for her trap and ended up thinking it wad a great idea since his hair had gotten too long. She messed it up however since, you know, she was like max 6, and Kai’s hair came out nothing like the picture they had of their dads. Kai almost cried at how it didn’t turn out like how he wanted when Nya giggled and said his hair looks like a “Really cool fireee!”. No, Nya does not remember that she’s the reason Kai keeps his hair like that.
Kai loves fish, he likes dragging Nya outside to summon some and makes her stay with him until he’s bored. Nya likes eating fish.
Kai likes jumping into his rlly bulky and tall mechs and then posing like a school girl or a cute model in them. Jay once managed to convince him to Jojo pose and they distracted an enemy because of it. Cole and Lloyd cussed them out, except Cole couldn’t stop laughing and Lloyd’s hair kept blowing in the wind dramatically every time he changed his position so it looked like he posing. He made them run up and down the monastery mountain steps five times each way. Cole too.
You know those really cute candle holders? So like Kai convinced Pixal to make him a fire proof bear suit, wore it outside in the dark, in the middle of the training ground, with everyone asleep. He lit himself on fire and he looked like a glowing monster bear with teeth and blood (shadows and ketchup, he was hungry). He thought it looked cute and cool. Zane screaming, malfunctioning, and then screeching “THY BEAST MUST BE SLAIN!” And shooting ice at him was not a part of the plan (Zane watched Macbeth the movie before sleeping). Both refuse to apologise to each other but after a day of ignoring one another Jay watches as Kai clings to a Zane full koala like when he’s doing chores.
Cole tries to teach Kai how to draw. Kai, for the life of him, cannot. Even stickmen look wonky and wrong.
Kai, surprisingly enough, has amazing handwriting. Everyone gets him to write stuff like letters for them because either theres is worse then a kid in nursery, or they wanna impress someone.
Kai really likes having something around his arms, like bandages, gloves, cloth, anything. For special events, he lets Cole tie silk ribbons around his arms like bandages.
Kai wishes he had soft hands. Everyone loves the feeling of his rough hands though. It comforts them.
Kai also loves cracking his knuckles. He loves doing it around Wu, who hates the noise and smacks Kai with his staff, who cackles and does it again.
At bad times in his life, Kai sits and lights a fire when the moon is at its highest point, out in the dark where it’s cold.
Kai loves stealing Jay’s action figures by accident. Jay was annoyed at first until he saw Nya giving Skylor an unintentional wide eyed look whilst holding a doll after Skylor said “oh, yeah i forget i had this old thing, don’t really like it tbh” disinterestedly. Jay put together whats what when Skylor blinked and said Nya could have it with a grin, who legit giggled. Nya. Giggling. Jay puts his action figures on a shelf and never touches them, giving an impression to someone who isn’t a collector (who couldn’t afford to be one) that they aren’t that important. Jay begins buying more action figures and other stuff he usually wouldn’t but knows Kai or Nya would love and leave it somewhere like it’s always been there. Says something under is breath just loud enough for a peeping ear to hear about how he might throw it away, and the next day its gone. Sometimes, he outright hands it to them saying he doesn’t like it but doesn’t wanna waste it. The other ninja, plus Pixal and Wu, pick up whats going on and do the same. Later in the years (after the re-design and sog) Kai and Nya long picked up on whats going on, they still love it regardless because it makes them feel less guilty (no no guys they definitely didn’t break down sobbing after Jay gave them a water themed colouring book for adults and Kai a mimic of Mitsuri Kanroji’s sword from demon slayer (a fake), definitely not.)
(Lowkey just realised this is very similar to a Morro fanfic of ao3, No i did not realise it when i wrote it but i do now, its where Morro likes collecting seemingly useless stuff left in places no one would leave smth special at. It’s because Morro was a homeless orphan, so he takes useless things in to give them importance. Love that head canon and fanfic it’s on ao3 guys omg. Imagine resurrected Morro doing that and Kai and Nya just realising in horror that THEY do that too. They get it, and dammit Morro is more similar to them than they would’ve liked.)
Kai totally likes wearing those happy birthday head bands even when it’s not his birthday and acts like he isn’t. If someone says happy birthday to him, he looks at them all judgy like and says “Its not my birthday? What gave you that impression?”
Kai actually easily gets sick, and hates it. The others have to time his down so he’ll actually get rest and not just push through it regardless. It takes summoning the duo of Wu AND Maya to get him to stop.
When the og four ninja met for the first time and right after they stopped Garmadon and got back to their realm, they still hadn’t actually gotten to know each other so Kai used to run away from them like the secret introvert he was groomed into being and it took Nya tackling him to get him to finally play those “super cringy bonding games”
Kai was subjected to Lloyd’s glowing green eyes staring at him constantly with no words exchanged. When the silence got too much and Lloyd just kept staring Kai asks what his problem is. Lloyd says “oh nothing, muchacho” and Kai realises Lloyd is still petty over what happened in the first episode.
Yeah thats all i got i think I’m sick shdgfv

Ninjago Secrecy AU
So in this AU, it’s basically the same as canon, EXCEPT, the ninja stay secret.
it's not JUST their identities. It’s also their literal existence and history.
FSM didn’t want humans, who often misunderstood and killed Yōkai-kind, to know about the Elementals. So he kept himself secret, his two sons secret, and the people he’d later choose to become the first human-ish Elementals secret. Those people were street orphans and abused kids he’d rescued from other humans.
Elementals have basically been behind the scenes (and doing illegal stuff like underage driving) for several millennia, they’ve managed to keep secret all this time and continue to do so in this AU.
When something big comes, like the Great Devourer, the ninja fix it but there’s only eyewitnesses and no camera footage and most of the time they somehow aren’t seen by humans.
Or Jay causes a blackout to make things harder for them to be seen.
Oh, yeah. And Elementals aren’t sure if they’re Humans with powers, something between Yōkai and Humans, or just full-blown Yōkai.
They just don’t know, but they have the senses of Yōkai and they can see very well in the dark- they also have a keen sense of smell, they can follow trails. And their eyes glow, but they can control the glow when they need to. Among other things, like feeling vibrations.
Elementals also have feral instincts, though they can ignore those instincts and act human when the circumstances demand it. Lloyd, his father, and uncle all have Dragoni features like in my Headcanon #1, and they're the most feral.
If you saw my HC about the Elemental Bond, that applies here too.
The Elementals just tell people who ask that they’re a clan. They’re kind of common amongst the Realms, and to help the ninja, their clan is tiny, and sort of IS a clan, just a special one.
Said clans that do exist either live off the land or live modernly now but they all started back in old times, and they keep touch and all nowadays.
The Serpentine often receives a similar reception that Yōkai get, just less than that, so they don’t give the game up- they keep silent about the ninja.
After meeting the ninja, the Formlings, the Geckles and the Munce, and others were asked to and agreed to keep quiet about the Elementals. So does Vania, (idk how that part of Master of the Mountain works but yeah).
In the AU, other Yōkai, (Kitsune, Kappas, Tanukis, Bakenekos, ect.) are more apparent and present in this, and even most of them don’t know about the ninjas, just a few friends know.
The Elementals frequently attack and ambush Yōkai Hunters, and free the trapped Yōkai.
There’s also more mountains around the Monastery, it’s a literal mountain range, and many Yōkai live in them. Years ago they all combined their magic to create a barrier, so humans can’t get in (they just get turned around and all,) unless they’re led, and it's really hard for someone to just find their way in, but it happens occasionally.
IN THIS AU, THE SIX SEE EACH OTHER AS SIBLINGS, EXCEPT MAYBE JAY AND NYA, I CAN'T DECIDE.
Arin knows about the ninja ONLY because he’s from a village near the mountain of the Monastery, and his family is one of the few that the ninja trusted with the knowledge of their existence, because one of Arin’s ancestors, a few generations back, accidentally found a way into the mountains, and got caught in a storm, so the ninja of the time saved him.
Also all the Elementals speak Yōkai. It’s their second language, and their first language is Japanese, English is their third language.
Yeah, that’s it really.
AND IF YOU HAVE AND QUESTIONS, FEEL FREE TO ASK!

#3 What if...
Garmadon becomes aware that Misako abandoned Lloyd when he was still at Darkly's?
Lloyd knew from a young age that he wasn’t normal. That glowing red eyes and long, sharp canines were inhuman, but they also brought him close to his father.
After all, it was the skulkins that worked at Darkly’s School for Bad Boys that told him (well in not so quiet whispers he happened to overhear) that they thought Lord Garmadon was looking at them when Lloyd peered at them with his red eyes. However, that’s where much the similarities ended, for no evil warlord was a short eight year old boy with a bowl-cut. However much he tried to imitate his father from the terrified rumors he heard of him, he always fell short. He couldn’t be an evil genius, or a merciless warrior, or a cruel warlord because he was too good, but what could they know? He was going to rule by his father’s side and they would bow before him someday.
“Muwahahahaha,” Lloyd laughs evilly.
‘Then, the other students and teachers would fear me for my power and respect me as my father’s son. They would stop calling me a monster, or else they would pay!’ Lloyd thinks practicing his evil laugh some more.
‘But then if I hurt others would I finally be a monster on the inside too if I did that?’ Lloyd thinks. ‘No, thinking of others is bad! That’s how I failed my Bad Ethics 101 class!’
‘Ugh, that’s not important, what’s important is delivering this letter, no message, to my dad.’
Lloyd scrambles down the hallway quickly trying to avoid the other students, lest he’ll be on the bad end of a vicious prank. Lloyd had burning questions, no missives, he needed answered! Missives he hoped would get answered on this letter:
Dear Lord Garmadon,
This is Lloyd Garmadon your son and future right hand man to your dark empire! I was just wondr wand thinking if I could skip school and come work with you now. Now I no I am only 8, but I have a lot of pott potanc potencial, and would love like to start working with you!
Oh and I have your red eyes! And fangs! Does your skin ever feel really itchy too? Like your um too big or is it too small? I don’t now but I think you get it, cause you now every thing.
But if you no every thing why didn't you ever come see me?
I’m sure whoever my mom is left me here so I could work with you when I gradate, but I want to start now and I am ready. I was left here at 3 so I had lots more time to learn and prak practa practice being evil than the others. So please please let me work with you!
Love From Lloyd Garmadon,
Son of the Super Evil Lord Garmadon
and Future Dark Ruler
Lloyd spent the whole day in the library perfecting his letter. He wanted it to be perfect. Thankfully, he knew how to read and spell somewhat well, but the teachers never thought learning how to read or write beyond the minimum was that important.
But Lloyd finished his letter, and it was finally ready to be delivered to his dad. He just hoped that his dad would answer, and even better if he could get out of this school and work with his father!
Lloyd clutched the letter carefully as if it was his most prized possession, and hurried to the mailroom. After all, even evil kids have parents and guardians and need a way of sending things to and from the school.
Notes:
The letter has grammar and spelling mistakes on purpose, but I felt it necessary to include, as I feel that Lloyd hasn’t had the most well-rounded education, not to mention that I sure didn’t spell too well when I was 8 either.
Needless to say, this letter does reach Garmadon, and he is furious with Misako. He will do whatever it takes to take care of his son since apparently no one else will!

My "Lord garmadon is a part of the Crystal Council au" just got an angsty update.
Mentioned auto-cannibalism BTW (only breif buuut)
Garmadon starts to hear the overlords voice talking and taunting and tempting him through ghostly whispers, soething of which makes him think he hears the Overlord from his hand. His biten hand.
Delusional, hungry, tired, and anxious from the overwhelming build-up of evil he can feel, he cuts his forearm off in what remained of the temple of ressurection (upon listening to Butchers Vanity, it turns out I decided he would eat his own arm upin it's removal..)
The pain leaves him vulnerable, and the overlord takes him as his fith and final servant. Garmadon is beyond devoid of life and is basically stone amongst the rest of them, acting more like a silent backup to garumis second in command. (This leads up to an interesting arc for harumi to see her "god" nothing but a dead puppet with blood dripping down his face almost constantly.)
Anyway, when Garmadon is taken by the overlord Wu starts having horrible hallucinations and nightmare if his brother standing right infornt of him in the shadows, his glowing eyes dark, tired, and blank but his glare is pain ridden. Within these terrors, Wu watches as the hand Garmadon cut off pushes itself out of his brother mouth, reaching for Wu with a desperate tremble...
He always wakes up and immediately starts to search for his brother upon last sightings, but it only leads him to the former temple of ressurection- the temple now being wrecked as if it had been attacked.. maybe a certain oni wasn't very happy with the voices in his head?
With Garmadon bow pretty much back at square 1 of his revival (Quiet, complacent..) Lloyd has to struggle with his reawaken trauma, Harumi has to reconsider her decisions, and Wu has to fight against his loss of his brother..
In the final fight of crystallised, Garmadon finds his will to serve the side of good upon having the weight of his existence thrown down on him like a sledge hammer upon a glass table.
Garmadon's attack to retaliate for the multitudes of soul wrecking trauma he had faced in the recent months from the overlord alone, only to find the overlord alone was the reason for his whole life of suffering, did not end well for the oni and left him beaten and weak to where he was dying in Lloyd’s arms.
Lloyd, overwhelmed, terrified, and now heartbroken, he can't avoid an oni form moment of which ends with him spying the body of his father now being held by harumi as he splutters for breath. The sight of this in the crystals' reflection causes Lloyd to look hopelessly at his father before being beaten back and knocked from his oni form..
In the end, Lloyd finds peace with his oni form in the way that the Ninja made peace with their lost powers in that final scene and they rebuild their life with Wu and Garmadon being seen eith each other with Garmadon using his brother as a support for walking..

Part of The Club AU
Tumblr media
The world seeps in through the slits of your fluttering eyes. The car, the street, a door you don’t recognise. You hang from a thick arm, feet clumsy as you try to match the gait that guides you forward. Your head feels like a rock and it isn’t long before you sink back into oblivion.
Only for a moment. You see a lightly, a fuzzy glow above you, the hazy shapes that crowd the room. You’re sat down on a cloud and as you’re let go, you fall onto your back. A heavy sigh gust through the space like a storm swirling in.
You bring your hand up as you try to steady your spinning vision. You smack yourself in the face as your eyes twitch. You furrow your brow, putting all your strength into pinpointing the figure standing above you. He moves, back and forth, pacing ominously as you languish in confusion.
“Where…” your lips form the single world but you can’t finish the question.
You don’t know this place. You’ve never seen these walls or laid on this bed. You don’t know where you are. You’re scared but something keeps your fear from piquing. The shell of numbness that paralyses you adds to the brief spell of horror before just as quickly petering out.
“Lloyd,” a growl permeates the fog of your existence, garbling as the tones hiss lower. You know that voice, your mind clings to it, unwinding the riddle; Andy. “...you give her…” You feel a pulse from within as your ears scratch and buzz, “...do I do?”
The words don’t make sense. You can’t piece together their meaning or who he’s talking to. You let your eyes roll back and weakly drag your arms up to rest across your stomach. Your breath catches in your nose and throat, a snore rising as you toe the line of consciousness.
The world shifts. Your eyes snap open and see the thick trim of Andy’s beard, his arms around you as he moves you up the mattress. You throw your arms out to feel the cushiness all around you. You want to sleep forever. It’s the only thought you can discern; you need to sleep.
“Sweetheart…” a tickle on your cheek as his voice fizzles to a dulled echo.
You close your eyes again, a warmth cocooning around you. You plummet into the depths, spinning on your way down, a distant tugging that follows you down. The lights of the club flicker in your head, then the hum of an engine, capped by the sullen tones of your boss. They all mingle to a muddled drone, a ringing in your ears that underlines your blank unconsciousness.
🎀
The faint smell of something woodsy tugs at your nose, an underlying hint of lemon that rouses your swampy mind. You squirm and fight the weight resting at the base of your skull, the limpness in your shoulders and spine. You groan as it takes effort to just open your eyes.
The sight of your awakening would make you scream if you had the ability to. You don’t know if you can do much in the state you are. Your head pounds, your muscles ache, the light of the sun slipping through the window makes you want to puke. You don’t move or think as you conserve your energy, first clearing away the cobwebs.
You stare at the stubble along Andy’s neck and how it thickens along his jaw. His cologne wafts into your lungs with each breath as you watch the pulse beat in his throat. You don’t understand how this happened.
Are you so stupid that you got blackout drunk in front of your boss? You’ve never drank more than two drinks at a time. So why that night?
You remember the man with the mustache and his special way of coaxing. You grit your teeth as you focus, trying to delve past the shallow layer of your memories. You barely remember what he and Andy were talking about. Something about a lawsuit but you could guess that given your line of work.
You plant your hand on the mattress between you and Andy and push yourself away, rolling flat on your back with a whimper. You draw your arm up and sling it over your face, blocking out the assault of sunlight. The bed shifts subtly and you wince as a small cough rises from his throat.
“You’re awake,” he says bluntly.
You moan and let your arm slip away from your eyes. Andy sits up as you blink at him, vision glossy at the edges as you focus on the dark tee that strains across his bicep. He leans forward and rubs his eyes.
“What… what happened?” You croak, voice hoarse and painful, “I don’t…”
“You don’t remember? Anything?” It’s almost an accusation.
“I’m sorry… no…”
You look down, noticing how the blanket is wrapped awkwardly around you. The edge of it lets the cool air tickle your side as it appears you fell asleep atop the covers and he pulled the hem over you from the other end. The pure white strap of your bra peeks up above it and the glimpse of your naked side, your panties slightly crumpled around your hip.
Mortified, you pull the blanket to cover yourself fully. Andy raises his head and stretches his neck as he turns his back to you. The tension laces the air and winds around your neck. Oh no, you’ve done something horrid.
“I must’ve drank too much…” you murmur.
“You think?” He stands and rests his hand on the night table, “what you did could get us both in a lot of trouble?”
“I’m sorry. I don’t know why– I don’t usually drink that much–”
“Sure, you don’t. A girl your age, I’m sure you never touch the stuff,” he says dryly, leaning so his arm cords with tension, veins bulging beneath his skin, “it’s a conflict of interest, to say the least.”
“I don’t… did we–”
“I didn’t do anything. I put you in the guest bed. I was trying to do the right thing but you wouldn’t stay out. You crawled in and I couldn’t get you to leave,” his voice is rough, unlike you’ve ever heard it. You’ve messed this all up. “I laid awake all night. I made sure nothing happened and that’s exactly what you’re going to say if anyone asks; nothing.”
You quiver and try to sit up. You whine at the agony of doing so and you keel forward, bracing your tamping temples. He sighs and shifts his weight. You feel him looking at you.
“Look, I’m all about second chances. Lloyd can be a bad influence, he wasn’t exactly subtle last night. And you were obviously not in your right mind,” he mulls his words and clucks, “you’re obviously suffering the consequences of your behaviour so I won’t add anything else to it.”
“I’m so sorry,” you eke out, your insides churning violently as you struggle to still reality.
You raise your head, bobbling as you fight to get to the edge of the bed. The blanket falls away as you forget all modesty. There’s something wrong with you. Is this really what a hangover feels like? You don’t know, you’ve never had one.
You fold over and heave onto the floor between your feet. You nearly slip off the bed but you feel it dip and Andy’s hand catches your shoulder. He eases you back and lays you across the mattress. His large hand brushes your cheek and he touches your forehead.
“You’re in rough shape,” he tuts.
“I’m sorry,” your tears leak out as you shiver, hugging yourself as his warmth sends a chill through you, “I didn’t…”
“We can move past this,” he says as he moves you gently, laying your head against a pillow, pulling the blanket around you once more. His fingertips graze your stomach and you swear you hear a purr. Does he have a cat? “I can’t in good conscience let you go yet, and I don’t think you could if you tried.”
“But…”
“I’ll work from home. You can bank the hours from last night towards today,” he says matter-of-factly, his hand lingering at the top of the blanket, just above your chest, “I’ll get coffee going.”
“Andy,” you sniff, “Mr. Barber,” you correct yourself.
“We’re moving past it,” he looks you in the face, blue eyes stern but smoky, “right?”
You consider him, not quite sure at first what he’s asking. That you want to forget this or that you want something else? That your drunken actions were more than mindless mistakes? No, he can’t want that, he’s made that obvious.
“I’ll be better, sir.”
His throat bobs and his cheek ticks. His brow slants just slightly and his gaze falls to his hand. He retracts it and backs off the bed. He mutters as he gets to his feet, “coffee…”
He turns and marches away. You watch dumbly, helplessly, as you wallow in his bed. How could this have happened? No, how could you have done this?

When Your Powers Are Taken | All Ninja x Female Reader
Tumblr media
REQ: I HAVE A REQUEST!! How abt all ninja x female reader; when your elemental power is taken by aspheera (like kai’s was taken)
can i be frank with yall, i kinda like this lmaoo. kinda want to make a p2 to this, how y/n will react to losing her power. thx for the request, i really enjoyed writing this!! hope yall enjoy! <33
if you want me to make this a seprate reaction i'll write that as well, just holla <3 by that i mean each of thme having their own reaction to y/n losing her power
E/P: Elemental Power
"No! Don't!"
It was too late.
With one push of the block, aligning the puzzle in it's proper pattern. It glowed bright color's and the pyramid started to rumble. Dust and pebbles fell from the top of the room. Everyone stood in a line in front of the large chamber, waiting to see what will happen.
Suddenly, the door exploded, causing everyone to duck down as dust filled the room. Laughter soon emerged from the chamber, and you opened your eyes to see a large, blue, female snake slither out with a staff in her hand.
You squinted your eyes, coughing from the debry that fell upon you. You tried to get abetter iew of the snake lady in front of you.
"Free at last," She said as she looked around. She looked forward to see 8 figures on the ground, "Where is he?" Was the first thing she asked. Looking oward Lloyd.
"Who?" Lloyd grunts as he tried to stand, "The treacherous deceiver. The one who imprisoned me." She spoke, "Tell me where he is, and I, Aspheera, will show you mercy." The snake demanded.
"I believe she is looking for the boy mentioned in the hieroglyphics." Zane guessed as everyone sat up from the ground.
"What do I tell her?" Lloyd whispered, looking over to Nya who got in his face with a worried tone, "Tell her the truth! We don't know."
They all stood, Lloyd starting to speak, "Uh, that was a while ago..."
The blade on the snakes staffed began to glow purple as her rage increased. Raising her weapon, she shot a bright, purple beam to Lloyd, knocking him into the nearest wall.
Clutch Powers dodged Lloyd's body as it made contact with the stone. The ninja's pulled up their hoods while you got your weapon in hand, all of you ready to fight.
"Let her have it!" Jay shouted, shooting a spark of electricity toward the Serpentine.
"Uh," Clutch spoke as he hid near the wall of the exit, "I'll get help!"
"Help from who? The camals??" You shouted at the explorer who ran away. "Y/N, focus!" Nya shouted at you, both of you dodged the blast of purple energy shot at from the snake.
The Serpentine chuckles as all the Ninja's and your's powers blew right off her, leaving not even a scratch on her.
"You."
Her hand pointed toward you as you were the only one in front of her. Her eyes and yours locked, "You are a E/P elemental?"
"The one and only! Name's Y/N! Not so nice, to meet  you!" You shot a blast of E/P at the Serpentone when you shouted to meet, watching her once again take the hit without ant damage.
You watched as her head slowly raised, her hissing loud and clear in your ears.
"Your E/P, enlightens, me." Aspsheera spoke softly, slowly slithering her way toward you as she continued, "For too long I have been trapped in this cold, dark place."
You stepped back  from the snake as she got closer, and closer.
"I will take your E/P!"
"I'd like to see you try, snake!" You tempted, ready your power in your hand. Before you can land a hit, you saw her wave her staff to the side and toward you raising up, however your body followed with her staff.
You felt your body freeze, you couldn't move. Your feet were lifted from the ground as you felt the power inside you fade away. It hurtI. You let out screams of pain, trying to break free from the Serpentines hold.
However, the purple hold had you in a tight knot. You weren't able to escape and endeered the pain.
"Y/N!" Kai cried your name, attempting to get up and stop the snake.
"What's happening?" Cole cried "She's stealing her elemental power!" Zane shouts, answering Cole's question. "We must stop her!"
They tried.
They really tried.
When they attempted their spinjitzu on her, she gave them a taste of theirown medicane, somehow still being able to steal your power.
You felt your eyelids get heavy, and your body grew more and more tired by the second. Next thing you knew everything went blank.
"She knows Spinjitzu." Lloyd mumbled in a worried tone.
"How?!" Jay cried, twice as confused as Lloyd.
Suddenly, your body fell straight to the floor, but you didn't move. Not even an 'ow' left your lips. Bad sign.
You were knocked out cold.
"Y/N!" Lloyd called out your name, everyone running to your body.
"I..thank you, elemental. In return for your gift, I shall spare your lives."
Next thing, well, no one knew, was there hands chained up to each other and pinned to the wall high above the ground. However, you were still knocked out in between Zane and Nya.
"May you enjoy your time in this place, as much as I did. Farewell," Aspheera, who was now the color of your E/P, bid her goodbyes, slithering toward the exit.
"You won't get away with this!" Lloyd yelled over to the snake.
They all watched the Serpentine leave, Lloyd looked back at your unconscious body. Your head was hung down low as your right arm was raised in the air by the chain that pinned you all to the wall.
"Y/N? Y/N, can you hear me?" He cried, pulling himsef forward to try and see you better. Nya was able to reach over, holding herself forward with her feet, as she pulled down your mask that coverd the body half of your face and look at you with a sadden look.
"Zane, how is she?" Cole asked, looking ove rto his Nindroid friend who was already steps ahead of him.
Zane took a moment to scan your body, before responding.
"Her vitals ar stable. She's alive. She should recover shortly." Zane spoke with a soft smile.
"Good." Lloyd sighed, looking at the chain above him,
"Now we just have to figure out a way out of here."

Here to collect Riyu headcanons and maybe baby hippo videos
Hello hiii Riyu hcs be upon ye
He’s overly conscious of his surroundings (since he’s pretty big) to the point it affects his relationships with people. If that makes any goddamn sense. Like. He knows his size and strength have the potential to be physically dangerous on complete accident, so the fact he’s thinking about that 24/7 permeates deep into his brain and he ends up wondering if he’s being annoying or rude or attention-hogging during social interactions too. 90% of the time, he’s not— he’s an absolute sweetheart and is considerate as hell. But it causes him to put the wants and needs of others above himself all the time, unfortunately. It also makes him pretty hesitant to ask for help. (“Am I bothering them? Is this a bad time? Shouldn’t I already know this?”) So instead his main coping mechanism is escapism <- just like me for real
He’s been trying to learn to speak Common (…english??) physically/out loud, bc speaking it telepathically is Really Hard and bc he spends so much time amongst Common-speakers who don’t know Dragon (these people being… pretty much anyone outside the monastery) and would like to go out and about without having to always bring someone to translate or having to like… play fuckin charades just to order takeout or w/e.
Out of the other dragons at the monastery, he is most close with Heatwave since they happen to spend so much time together (Heatwave is usually around Wyldfyre, and Riyu/Wyldfyre hangout a lot; Heatwave also basks on the roof, which is something Riyu enjoys too). He sees Heatwave as a sort of older brother or uncle yk?
Aside from Lloyd’s ninja training, Riyu also gets combat training from Zanth, since in some ways it’s easier to learn that from someone who is Also huge and quadrupedal. Plus, Zanth is a pretty seasoned fighter (she traveled/adventured for a long ass time in my mind) so there’s not always overlap between what Zanth and Lloyd can teach him
He loves physical affection!!! He loves it when the others lean on him, sleep near/with him, hug him, etc. Feels nice plus it reassures him that he’s not some Big And Scary Thing to non-dragons. He certainly doesn’t mind when the others ride on his back— they’re pretty light to him.
Once he gets the hang of spinjitsu, his tornado is a bright blue with streaks of dark blue as well as gold
Once he gets the hang of Rising Dragon, it makes his eyes and wings glow the same colors as his spinjitsu, as opposed to him having some larger spectral dragon behind him like the other ninja do when they use Rising Dragon
He is definitely not a picky eater and doesn’t have any sensitivities/texture/smell issues either— bro was literally eating garbage in Cinder’s debut episode in s2p1 he literally doesn’t care
His favorite color is dark green bc it’s the color of his matriarch’s scales :)) he’s also pretty fond of orange, pink, and red bc of Arin, Sora, and Wyldfyre
He has a one-of-a-kind pair of headphones that work with his crazy ass head shape that Sora custom-built for him, and he loves just flying around the mountains near the monastery whilst listening to music
Yes this means he has a tablet to play said music off of. Yes Sora has also made alterations to it so it’s easier for him to use it (i would say phone but it would be way too small for him to comfortably use)
And baby hippo video for u as requested i fucking love that thing:

Lloyd & Captured reader // Part 2
Summary: Lloyd's civilian partner got captured.
Warning: kidnapping, violation, experiments, cringe
•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•
The man walked to you grabbing your face agressively, forcing you to look at him. "Hey!! Don't touch me!" you yelled into his face. He grinned maniacly, piercing his eyes on yours. "What do you want from me?" You asked trying to break from his grip. "Oh, so you have no idea?" he finally backed away pushing your face back. He went to a counter taking something off it but you couldn't see what.
"I thought you knew you have elemental powers...How sad" he scoffed stepping back into your field of vision, finally recognising the object in his hands. It was a injection needle?! It was filled with some glowing liquid. Your eyes widened. "I don't believe you" you spit it out. That made him chuckle which was more like a dark chuckle. "Let me prove you then.." then he aggresively injected the glowing liquid into you, causing you to scream.
You felt how the liquid was flowing in your veins. Your skin glowing in purple as the pain became unbrealable. You couldn't help but scream. The man just laughed at your pain sadisticly. Soon the furnitures and objects flew in the room like there was no gravitation. "Welcome in my labour, Master of telekinesis. Your my personal experiment from now on." he smiled backing away from you. Tears streamed down your cheeks as the pain was unbearable.
'W-what?'
•~
The night was dark and cold. Lloyd was waiting for a call, either from you or your mom. It was already 11:00pm and he couldn't sleep, rolling each of his side on his bed. The fact that you're missing was not a thing he's used to.
And then he finally stood up making his way towards his gardrobe. He grabbed his gi out and put it on. He silently sneeked out of his room leaving the Monestry.
It didn't take long for him to show up at the store you work. He promised your mother that he's going to find you so it was time to start searching. He walked through the streets and pavements that you usually go on on your way home. It was oddly empty and quiet. He was extra attentive just looking for any sign what would be able to tell where are you.
He was about to turn right at the corner when he stepped on something. A phone. He picked it up and immediately recognised the phone case. The screen was broken like someone on purpose wanted to destroy it. He turned on the phone what actually still worked. His eyes stopped at your lockscreen wallpaper. It was you and him petting cats in a cat café. It was your idea to go there, knowing he's a cat person and it turned out really fun. He smiled softly admiring the picture before he unlocked the phone.
When he unlocked your phone he froze. It was his phone number and a picture of him what he didn't know it exists of him. It meant you tried to reach out to him but it was too late.
He wished he could have been there when you needed him. He could've protected you. It wasn't right to blame his self but he couldn't help it. He had a lot of questions. It didn't make sense. If someone took you to get something from them or just to hurt him they would've already act up. He could just asks from his self:
'Who took her? What do they need her for? Where is she? Is she okay? Is she hurt?'
•~
The next day Lloyd made a visit at your mother. He knocked on the door, waiting patiently for the door to be opened. He was wearing a green hoodie with jean, just regular civilian clothes. The eyebags refered to a long night, trying to find clues where are you. All for nothing.
The door slowly opened and M/n looked out carefully from the small gap. When he recognised Lloyd she immediately opened the door wide. "Oh Lloyd, I'm glad you're here.." she smiled weakly gesturing him to come in. "It's okay.." he said softly stepping in, closing the door behind him. "I'm making a tea, sit down to the table.." then she went into the kitchen, pouring the hot water into a mug. Lloyd sat down looking around the room spotting family picures on the wall. Mostly it was you and your mother on them, but there was one what was different. There was a man on it giving your piggybacks, your smile as bright as now in these days. He smiled without noticing it. "That's Y/n's father, they had a strong bound. She loved her father very much.." M/n smiled herself admiring the picture while remembering back to those days. He turned to face her with a sad expression. "If you don't mind me asking..what happened?" M/n sat down in front of Lloyd and slides mug of tea to him. "He passed away in a car accident.." she teared up a bit as she thought back at that tragedic day. "I'm sorry.." he immediately apologised. "It's alright..tell me what you got.." she said taking a sip of her tea.
He reaches into his pocket, taking your phone out of it. He put it down onto the table with an empathic look. M/n eyes opened wide recognising the phone. She took it into her hands gently taking a look on it.
"Me and Zane went through her whole phone, every unreachable information what what might be important" Lloyd made eyecontact with her. "We made access to the phone secret microphone what always making records. Based on this record we found out that she was followed then chased by 3 men." She put her hand on her mouth by her shock. "She bumped into someone dropping her phone accidently. For a few seconds just steps then a strong hit and someone is falling onto the ground." M/n just listening quietly, few tears dropped down onto the phone. She wiped away some of her tears, putting down the phone on the table.
"More steps and someone speaks up" he pauses looking into deep in her eyes as she took another sip. "Experiment-08 has been caught" her eyes widened putting down the mug from her hands. "Oh God-" she stands up what caught Lloyd off guard. Her expression panicing as she was walking around the kitchen. "You should go now.." Lloyd was surprised by her reaction. M/n has never acted like this before. Maybe it was too much for her, but he needed to ask a lot of things. He stood up from the table defeated. "I'm sorry, ma'am.." he apologised. The news got her overwhelmed. He needed to leave. "Good bye, miss" he said, leaving the kitchen, opening the front door and closing it behind him.
"I wish you were here, Y/n... It's a living nighmare without you.."
He got back to the base going straight to the hangar's computer. He needed to find anything related to experiments in Ninjago city. He was going through the prison breaks and wanted people list when the team appeard behind him. All of them with a worried look. He didn't take care of his self, he spendt all his time to find you.
"Lloyd, I think you should take a break. Your working for hours now.." Cole said taking a step closer. Lloyd didn't even looked away from the screen. "I can't..I think I'm close to find out who's the person behind all of this.." he said typing different kind of keywords to make the list much shorter. The ninjas looked at each other concerned. "Oh God, the same person again.." Lloyd whines and hit the keyboard in frustration. He cup his head into his hands, he was too tired to figure it out all alone. "Let us help you.." Zane said stepping closer to the computer analizing all the work what Lloyd has already done. "Saburo Hisoni, escaped prison..Did illegal experiments on people who were blood-related to a person with elemental power.. The polices has found 23 different DNS in his labour from people he had made experience on, but only 12 people were found." Zane read it out loud. "It's doesn't make sense. If he's the person who kidnapped Y/n, then what is he needs her for?" Nya asked confused.
That's when Lloyd put the puzzle together. Why Y/n's mother reacted strange when she heard that she's an experiment. "Y/n's mom didn't tell everything she knows..."

Can you make one where the reader is an oni but shape shifted into a human many years ago, and Wu brought them one the team with everyone else. The oni reader was initially a spy but over time grew feelings for one of the ninjas or Pixal. The ninja and pixal learn that they are an oni and was originally a spy by another oni who escaped from season 10 fight. I need Angst and Fluff.
Can do! Honestly I kinda wanna make a full length fic based on this on AO3, lmk if anyone is interested…
Also, I did this one with Nya bc you didn’t specify which one you wanted, hope that’s okay!!
Word count: 1.2k
Ninjago - Nya With an Oni Spy
You hastily adjusted your hair and clothing while you speed-walked through the forest. One of the downsides of shifting into your human form was that you always looked a mess right after.
When you first began your mission as a spy for the Oni, this annoyed you because you’d frequently change between your human form and your Oni form. While you gave your frequent reports to your Oni higher-ups, you’d be in Oni form. When you were with the ninjas, you’d be in human form.
Luckily this wasn’t much of a problem anymore. You’d been successful in distancing yourself from your Oni connections over time, coming up with clever excuses to avoid your meetings and offering scant information when you were forced to. This frustrated your commanders to no end, but they had other matters to worry about, so you got away with it. You smirked to yourself at the memory of the General’s face as you again reported that you found “nothing worth mentioning.” You imagined steam coming out of his ears and had to put your hand over your mouth to keep from laughing.
The Bounty was in view now. Climbing on deck, you didn’t see anyone. Strange, you thought. They should’ve finished patrols an hour ago.
A crashing noise from the cabin caught your attention. Following it, you pressed your ear to the door first, trying to discern who (or what) might’ve caused the noise.
Your heart shriveled and fell from your chest when you heard a familiarly gravelly voice say: “We have our ways of knowing things.”
It was the General. He must’ve been caught after your meeting! You burst into the room in your excitement, not bothering to think.
You locked eyes with the General. His glowing eyes were burning with indignation. After a moment he seemed to recognize your human form, and a sense of amusement overtook his expression.
“Speak of the little deviant,” he spat, nodding at you.
The eyes of all the ninjas were now on you. You found shock, disbelief, anger, and betrayal in their faces.
You scrambled to defend yourself. “Come on, guys, you can’t believe this guy! Do you really think I’m an Oni spy sent here to monitor your every move?”
Your words didn’t help at all. If anything, they solidified the upset looks in your friends’ faces. “We never said anything about a spy,” Kai said, crossing his arms.
You paled. Realizing that there was no way out of it now, you began: “Can you at least let me explain—”
Angry shouts silenced you.
“You filthy liar!” Jay pointed accusingly.
“Dude…” Cole just shook his head.
“I can’t believe I trusted you!” Kai took a step forward, as if to attack you, but was stopped by a hand on his shoulder.
The hand belonged to Nya. You looked into her dark eyes, struck with the thorough pain filling the dark brown pupils. Her lips were pressed into a thin line, and she turned her head away. Somehow, that was more painful than anything she could’ve said.
“Nya…” you breathed, shoulders slumping in devastation.
Kai, perceiving his sister’s anguish, grabbed her hand. “Don’t talk to her,” he spat protectively. “Don’t talk to any of us. Just get out of here!”
You looked at the others. Lloyd. Wu. Someone who might have a little more sense than to just throw you out on the spot. But you found no such person in the room. It was clear that they all wanted you gone.
As you turned to leave, you heard the dark cackling of the Oni General. You paused in the threshold, fists balling up. Your anger made you rigid; you found yourself frozen in place as each disgusting laugh stoked a fire in your chest.
After a few seconds, you whirled around, flying at the General. With four arms you came at him, knocking the chair to which he was tied over. In the commotion one of your claws snapped the rope, and the General sprang up, sending you sprawling to the side.
He might’ve been bigger than you (even in your Oni form), but you were younger, and faster. You seized his ankles, digging your claws in and pulling. He fell flat on his face, and while he was stunned you pounced on his back, pinning him down. You pressed your knee into the back of his neck.
“You traitor! I always knew you had a soft spot for humans! You are a disgrace to the Oni!”
“I don’t care. My loyalties lie nowhere near you monsters.”
The General gasped with difficulty. “You speak as if you are not one of us.”
“As far as I’m concerned,” a high voice piped up from the sidelines, “they’re not one of you.”
You whirled around, heart already soaring, to see Nya stepping forward. She smiled at you—smiled!—and placed a hand on your shoulder. You gazed into each other’s eyes for a long time. The General suddenly stopped squirming under you.
“Ack…” you stood up suddenly, awkwardly realizing that you’d just choked him unconscious. “Oops.”
Now that you were at your full height, Nya stepped closer. She looked up at you, eyes glancing over your devilish face. Your heart throbbed with anxiety, but there was acceptance in her face, and she reached to grab two of your hands as she looked over the rest of your body.
“Do you trust me?” You murmured, anxious to hear her response. In that moment, you didn’t even care what the others thought. So long as this beautiful gem before you believed that you’d never hurt them—never hurt her—you’d be satisfied.
She took a second to respond. Then, with a little smirk, she brought a hand to cup your cheek. “I knew it couldn’t be true.”
“I was a spy,” you blurted. “At first.” Her eyes narrowed, and you scrambled to continue. “But you… you changed the way I thought about you ninjas. I stopped giving information after a few weeks. If anything, I’d give them misinformation. I wanted to keep you safe.”
You brought a pair of arms to cup her face. “And I want to keep helping you. I don’t believe in the Oni anymore. I believe in you.” You looked up, sending devotional glances to everyone in the room. “More than that,” you returned your gaze to Nya, “I love you.”
Nya’s eyes sparkled. A huge grin curved her plump lips as she moved her hand to the back of your neck and pulled you down to kiss you.
When you pulled away, completely dazed with your heart thumping at a million miles an hour, she was still smiling. “I love you too. That’s why I knew you were on our side.”
You had forgotten about the others in the room. You jumped when Lloyd placed his hand on your shoulder and told you he was glad to have such an ally. The others echoed his sentiment, assuring you that they didn’t care what you were, they only cared what you were now, and that was their friend.
Nya shot you a mischievous look when they said that. “Maybe a little more than friends,” it seemed to say. You felt your cheeks darken again, and you returned the look with an eyebrow wiggle. That got the whole room laughing.
Looking at your friend’s faces, your only regret was not leaving the Oni sooner. Especially for her. “My flower,” you murmured under your breath, gaze lingering on the beautiful laughing girl.

Ficmas Day Six - Decorating
Word Count: 706
AU: Canon Divergent
Characters: Nya, Lloyd
"Hey Nya? Look, I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but… uh, how do I put this nicely? What am I looking at?" Lloyd asked, a vague hint of horror in his tone as he tried to take in just whatever the sight before him was, both his brain and eyes not fully able to comprehend it.
But at least Nya looked happy at… whatever it was that she was set up in the living room area of the monastery.
"Hey Lloyd," She called out, not bothering to look back, her attention still on the thing before Lloyd. "It's a fishmas tree," She said after a moment as she finally stepped away to stand next to Lloyd, acting like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
But in Lloyd's defence, he was able to guess that much at the very least, it was a tree covered head to toe with fish decorations after all. And while there was an assortment of different types of fish on the tree. At least that's what he had thought at first, but with Nya finally out of the way, he was able to see that it was actually just tuna decorations in various sizes.
"Ok then, that is a choice… uh…" He tried to say calmly, forcing the judgment out of his tone as he spoke. "You do know that Christmas isn't a thing here though on account of the fact that we don't have Christianity, right?" He whispered, hoping she wouldn't get mad at him pointing out her continuity errors.
"Yes Lloyd, I know that," She said, running her hand down her face. "But you're going to have to just have to go along with everything for the sake of it so the damn crackfic can make sense, ok?"
Right, of course. How could he forget? The only time the author of these kinds of fics ever mentioned Nya's sudden love of fish, or, well, sudden love of tuna, was when they were writing the worst things possible instead of sleeping.
Why was the author even like this he thought to himself, though he was snapped from his thoughts as the fic was forced to continue and he saw Nya grab what he quickly realised was several tuna figures taped together to look like a star that she was now trying, and failing, to zip tie to the top of the tree of all things.
"Little help here?" She asked, looking back at Lloyd, though he knew that he wasn't going to get out of this on account of being the only other person in the monastery, something the author was making up on the spot because they didn't want to write the other ninja right now.
"Sure." He muttered as he moved closer to the tree so that he could keep the crudely made tree topper steady as Nya tied it in place so it stayed. Once done, they both took a step back to admire the tree from afar.
And yep, it as the cursed was an eyesore in Lloyd's opinion, but Nya was smiling ear from ear at the sight before the two of them. And then he heard it, her snickering as she suddenly hit the lights, leaving them in the dark for a moment before it happened.
All the cursed fish lit up. Of course, they could do that. It wasn't like a fishmas tree wasn't weird enough already on its own, now the fish just had to be lights too of all things. At least with only the glow of the small lights, Lloyd couldn't see the whole tree and the fishes that adorned it. So maybe that was a plus side.
However, he did eventually hit the lights again after getting sick of standing in the dark. Only once the lights were back on, he saw Nya curled up on the ground, absolutely losing it laughing. "What is wrong with you?" He asked, letting out a slight laugh of his own as his question caught Nya's attention, causing her to sit up.
"No, Lloyd," She said, shaking her head. "You mean 'What's wrong with the author and the person who suggested this' obviously."
"Yeah, you're not wrong."

Ok so stupid ideas number i don't know anymore but what if jay sacrificed himself after the merg to protect a village of serptines like a gaint storm dragon on pare or nearly as strong as wojira and fused with his element the serptine would construct a monument in his hourner celebrating the anerverstiy with a festival called the festival of the storm walker. The ninja is unaware, but ras is clever using less than ethical methods. manages to capture lighting jay and using dark magic forces a wolf mask to be grafted onto hi very being unable to be removed without his approval it hurts jay so much but ras doesn't care jay would then be forced into the tournment.
Jay begins to gather the air burning as he appears. The lighting elements wolfmask prison glowing blue as he aproachs the battlefield, his body sparking and buring his hands appearing to be have large claws. Jay turned to face his aponent nya, his heart burns, lighting sparking she couldn't recognise him as he attempted to talk to speak all the comes from his mouth is inhuman screams and thundress clashes of cooling air she stared at him with hate. He could only meanly apologise as the gong is struck his masking and body glowing red as he flew at nya lighting sparking he wanted to run to hide but that mask commanded him to fight and he won nya layed on the ground battered broken he did that his eyed glistened with pain but the mask hid his true emotions. Jay felt the element of water become his the body he had grew more solid, his mind fading once again ras smircked as jay tried to resist his commands bit one stroke he glowed red again the sea called to him the sky cried to him he wanted out. Ras clicked his claws. jay disappeared, the mask eyes now glowing yellow, and blue fell to the ground as ras picked it up. Nya laid broken battered jays last thought turned dark revenge.
The next thing jay knew, he stood parallel to frak, preparing to fight eyes. Frak ran at him as ras struck the gong, his body glowing red the water moving unatrualy lighting sparking he moved before he knew it red lighting striked frak the young serptine falling to his knees then faling jay had won again his body fizzled as he saw a look a beg for mercy he wished he could proved. As the 2 elements he held moved into him, orange glow growing prominent jay herd screams the earth jay looked to his hand earth began to gather blue glows emanating through it jays eyes glowed orange the mask changing once again jay wanted to run the screams of the sky and earth and sea made him want to scream for nya for his friends jay screamed this time he manged to scream 2 words help me before ras clicked his fingers again the rocks gathering forging him a body collapsed. Jay still heard the screams of the world he was going to escape
Jay reformed, standing parral to beatrix he cracked his neck as Earth gave him form, and for the first time in, who knows how many years he took a step he laughed as he used the water and lighting to form a sudo gi hand outstreching lighting gathered and earth formed an handle the lighting a chain joined by water he was gaing to win and win good. Lighting drew close to beatrix, stricking her as she collapsed. Her hand glew a bright blue, and it shifted to appear almost wolf like as jays smirck grew under the mask as he felt her elements become his form, growing stronger, the wind moving under his fingers jay formed large wings on his back they moved as jay disappeared with rass' snap he knew he would win.
Jay walked onto the battlefield. Lloyd stood across from him he had drafted nokt earlier in the tournament. jay was going to be victories ras striked the gong the sound causing the mask to glow red with jays body the stone that forged his form was fun jay laughed as Lloyd attempted to fight while all he did stay still as Lloyd tried to harm him until at the perfect second jay caught Lloyd wrists his body grew more monseris a tail swaying wings flapping jay felt the mask sifft yet again as he transformed into the form of a gaint dragon Lloyd felt his wrist break as jay laughed victories retiring to his much more mangebal hybrid form as Lloyd's elements became his ras clicked his fingers but failed he clicked again nothing jay laughed finding his vioce calling lighting to his hands.
"Oh ras, you don't think I'd learn a way out of that trick," Jay snarled his vioce unrecognisable as it thoundrasly boomed and screeched.
"No, no," ras cried. "You are my prisoner. You are my pupet" ras snarled growling.
"No, I don't think you understand who you're messing with magic you don't understand." Jay laughed, again elements gathering."I will do anything for the safety of them even hurt them," jay finished his hand outstreching red, coating the sky a portal opening 2 figures falling out of it one in red the other a skelton with glowing eyes. The portal closing and the sky returning to normal.
"What do you mean obey?" ras struck the gong. Jays eyes glowed red, but this time, he was ready, clasping at the mask he screamed ripping it of to reveal his face forged of lighting and water fire was his hair as his eyes glowed intense yellow his face was recginiseable now
"I am not you puppet I am jay walker the blue ninja the killer the gaurdin of the serpints the slayer and the huntsman" Jay smilled "and your not in charge of me" he snarled turning into a massive dragon flying up "and I win"

YA'LL READY?
I spent 4 hours, albeit maybe like 30-45 minutes to eat and talk, but here is 3.3k words of Dragon Kai!
Tw: Kidnapping. Off screen injury to ninja. Derogatory phrases towards ninja (brief).
If Kai could recall the past few years and summerize it up, the only way he could come up with is 'chao, and I'm surpised to say little bloodshed'. There wasn't much happening now, especially witth how little threats there were in Ninjago. Petty crimes was something Pixal was dealing with as Samuri X for the safety, occasionally being joined by Zane or Nya for the thrill.
Currently, Kai was allowing himself to lounge around, arm tucked under his head as he rested on the table, blankly staring to the screen of flashing colors and moving images. He wasn't registering much, aside from small noises that came from his team mates, or distant phrases. This including the approaching footsteps of bouncing steps, quick paced and practically hopping like a bunny rabbit. He cringed to himself at the feigned feeling of what he considered an ear flicking back to the sound. He moved his free hand to rub the affected spot, before giving a quiet hum.
Jay. The steps were too sporadic to be Lloyd's, but too light to be Zane or Cole. Pixal and Nya were out on patrol, so they weren't an option to begin with. With the door flinging open and the yap of enjoyment, Kai couldn't help but smile as he glanced tpwards the door behind him. Bingo, Jay stood in the doorway, a bright smile breaking over his freckled face, showing off a toothy grin. Sharpened canines, electric blue eyes, and staticy, but curly, light brown hair sat in promience to Kai. "Hey, Jay. What's up?"
"I called it! He's in here sulking!" Jay called outside of the room. This caused Kai's own smile to fall, glaring to Jay with confusion, which only amused his future brother-in-law. "I'm not sulking! I'm watching TV!"
"With the lights off. On a show you don't like. And not even paying attention to it!" Jay fired back, with Kai rolling his eyes and resting back on his arm.
"Can't I just relax a little with background noise?"
"That's called sulking!"
"I'm not sulking!"
With a sharp turn, Kai spotted Cole standing behind Jay, arms crossed over front, and an amused smile on his face. Dark skin contrasted against Jay's much lighter tone, the slight red-tone to his arms and up his shoulders was always so noticable to Kai, even more now with the man in nothing but a tank top. Deep brown eyes wiith the slightest bit of green tinting them trailed to the green mark on his left temple, showing and glowing from behind the braid that lead to a braided crown of his hair. Kai rolled hiis eyes at the amused look, flopping down dramatically onto the table to earn a laugh.
It worked beautifully, and as he planned, hearing Cole's laugh from behind Jay, and te same, quick steps over to Kai. Air wooshed around Jay from beside Kai, indicating the other was sat down. Which, he was, right in Kia's view.. Right in Kai's reach.. With a smirk, Kai wrapped his arms around Jay before the other could talk or react, earning a surpised yelp as he was toppled onto his back, with Kai's arms around him and the fire master nuzzling into his jaw. The more giggling and laughing he could pull from Jay, the more he continued with the nuzzling, pleas and begs leaving Jay for Kai to stop.
Only when Jay was near tears did Kai stop nuzzling, pulling away to look at the giggling ninja. He gave his own toothy grin, his naturally sharp teeth showing at the top, hiding their points and consciously having to make sure he didn'tt give them away. Inhuman features was common amongst the ninja, but he still grew self conscious about the sharpened points. The scars and stings inside his cheeks and across his tongue had a lot of say in it. Still confused himself of why, but chalked it up to genetics.
He lifted himself off of Jay, stretching out the stiffness of his back in the process with a small and pleased hum at the breathless nature of Jay still. He watched carefully as Cole made his way over to the nearby couch, sitting on the farthest cushion to the left, claimed as 'his spot'. Not really, but they always sat in the same spots, with minor tradde outs here and there. Kai, Lloyd, and Jay cycled between the floor, the chair, the couch, and the bean bag. Cole sat on the far left, and Zane on the far right. Nya, whenever she joined, would take the bean bag, and Pixal on the floor, or leaned against the wall, depending on how long she felt like sticking around, before predictably leaving towards the garage or her room to tinker around.
Right now, though, Kai wanted the couch. He wanted to be in the middle to keep a watchful eye. So, once Cole got himself settled into the couch, Kai's amber eyes gave a certain glint, before he all but pounced onto the couch, shuffling to rest his head on Cole's thigh. This, of course, earned a chuckle from Cole, taking this as just some odd phase of wanting to be near, before bringing his left hand down to pet at Kai's gelled hair. Never failed to shock him at how soft Kai's hair felt, despite the gell. He knew better than to comment on the nature of Kai, not wanting to get rid of the practical heating pad during the turn of autumn, so he kept quiet and watched Jay move around with a content smile.
Kai's and Cole's eyes were both trained on Jay, watching as he plugged up the console and plopped in a game cartridge into the slot, before powering the console on. He grabbed four controllers from the shelf nearby, powering them on one by one and setting them on the ground nearby. The only thing that broke Cole's focus from the game powering on was a whiff of sweets, a mixture of different kinds that made his mouth water and eyes widen. Especially when seeing Zane walk in with a two plates of cookies, one being chocolate chips and the other red velvet, and Lloyd behind him with a plate of brownies, some brownie on his right by his lip, and his bag of sweets that he's continuously collected over the past few days.
The plates got set carefully on the table by the nindroid, said ninja giving a polite tap to Kai's knee to urge him to move, which Kai did without complaint and sat up, and Lloyd sat down on the bean bag chair near Cole. Jay soon handed controllers off, one being held for himself and Lloyd all but snatching the second one from Jay's hand. Cole grabbed one while leaning over to grab a brownie, shoving one in his mouth and grabbing a second without a second thought, and it was a toss up for the forth. Zane or Kai coul get it, and while Zane offered to wait, Kai said he wasn't wanting to game at the moment, but was more than willing to watch.
The slightest smile that graced Zane's lips as he grabbed and thanked Jay for the controller made Kai's entire being warm up just a little bit more. The right choice was made. Jay remained on the floor, on the other side of the table, but he was laid down on his side, in what was deemed as 'the Jay pose'. Rustling of wrappers from Lloyd's bag made Kai chuckle under his breath, grabbing the entire plate of red velvet cookies and beginning to eat on them, relaxing as the white chocolate and velvet mixed together to create a wonderful effect. He slouched back on the couch, barely focusing on the screen as he watched Jay tap around for the cookie plate from time to time, Lloyd with a lollipop stick hanging out of his mouth, Cole slowly scarfing down the plate of brownies and cookies, reserving just a few of the brownies for Jay and Lloyd, and Zane smiling at the screen when he thought no one was looking.
This was a day off, and Kai loved it...
The twitch happened again, snapping backwards and almost staying there, which got Kai's attention. He glanced over to the screen, as well as making sure each of the others were there, aside from Nya and Pixal. The giggling, laughing, and playful yelling. No one was worried, no one heard anything. Yet, there was a feeling of evergrowing protectiveness bubbling in his chest and throat, mouth almost becoming dry. His senses were beginning to scream at him, as the fre master set down the half empty plate of cookies, moving swiftly to stand up and leave the room. He earned a confused glance from Zane, but Kai only dismissively shook his head to the other, as if not to worry. Of course, this made Zane worry, but he focused back to the screen of gameplay instead for the time being.
Once outside of the room, shutting the door carefully, Kai tilted his head a bit in confusion as how eerily quiet it sounded, aside from the yelling of Jay's rage, Lloyd's retaliation, and Cole's hearty laughter from the closed door. Shouldn't Nya and Pixal been back by now? A shudder ran down his spine as he moved cautiously around their living space, checking in every location and straining his ears to listen for any sort of noise to get the location of the two females, his sister and Zane's lover. Part of his family. Missing? No, no.. No?
Moving into the garage, he found no signs of them entering again, which made Kai progressively more concerned. He moved swiftly over to the table, typing on the computer that laid there fo location of the Samuri X gear. Car, garage. Mech suit, repairs. Suit, missing. Bike, missing... Wait a minute..
Looking at the log again, seeing that the locators were not only removed, but completely busted and only showing last known location, which was seen around thirty minutes ago. He felt his heart sink with worry at that, frowning at the results and glancing to the door. They had just gotten relaxed, but.. One more glance to the monitor, the protective urge once again filled him, almost feeling sufficated by the feeling, and that was all the motivation he needed to rush off back to the game room.
"Guys! The girls are-" Kai paused as he flung the door open, eyes wide as he stared at the now empty room. His body tensed up as he could see clear signs of struggle, his nerves and mind screaming and burning him from the inside out. Where? Where are they?! Sick joke, call a sick joke, now! He moved into the room a bit more, seeing how much struggle there actually was, and-
His vision went black.
How much time had passed? He didn't know. He didn't care to know. He wanted to know where his family was. Where are they?
A deep groan left Kai as his eyes opened up, aching beginning to spead all over his body. He became acutly aware of the cold chains that had a hold on his wrists, using his tired limbs to sit up from the equally, if not colder, ground. He blinked away the water that had began building in his eyes, looking around to see the others in a similar state as he was.. Only, the bruise around Jay's eyes caused Kai to whimper a little to himself, the out of breath nature of Nya made him worry more. Seeing Zane and Pixal tied together in a forcedown state, only allowed to see made Kai tug at his chains, Cole's continuous but forced back whines and whimpers from breathing.. Lloyd shoved in a cage with a angry but sorrowful look..
The string was being pulled tighter within Kai's chest, tugging at the chains with a purpose to try and get free. The more noise he made, the more attention he dragged to himself. The more attention he gained, the more time the others had. With that, he continued, twisting his chest forward and pulling his arms in front of him to try and bust free. Going as far as to turn around and tug with all of his weight. Nothing. THe chains were stuck.
The twitched happened again, causing that string to get a little tighter, small strands breaking within the string as he heard voices. Still, he kept it up, every single sense beginning to burn. Get them free, get hem to safety. None of them deserve this! The burning only got hotter as he heard Nya all but pleading in a whisper for him to stop. "It's hopeless. We're stuck, for good this time." More little strands broke at how heart broken Nya's voice sounded. He looked to her, a fire burning even more within him. No, no! He wasn't giving up! They weren't safe- They weren't safe!
"Well, well. It's about time." Kai could feel his ears burning. The twitch directed right to the voice, not caring who or what. Everything within him continued to burn, the protectiveness beginning to suffocate him again as he yanked at the chains harder, ignoring the pain that spiked through his wrist. They weren't safe yet. His hoard was under attack.
"Which one should we start with? One of those pesky robots over there? Or the sorry excuse of a master?" The malicous tones.. Those words.. The chains began to rattle, seething at how they dared talked about his family. His hoard. They were his! They were his!
"Ohh, how about the Mrs. Rain-Threat over there?"
That. Was. IT! THAT WAS IT!!
The string snapped, a yell leaving him at first, but the yell was quick to shift to an angry roar. As quick as the chains tightened, they snapped pathetically from the rapid growing size of Kai. His! They were his! Standing between the cage that captured Lloyd and the foes, he stood tall, and angry, above their captors.
Deep, orange eyes peirced through the foes, teeth bared to show just how sharp they were in dragon form. Smoke left through the gaps of his teeth threateningly, deep growls leaving his throat. Black, glittering scales trailed down his neck and belly, filling it out with the occasional gold and red around. On his back, down his head and spine, various shades of red filled out, with those same gold scales decorating around. The inside of his wings seemed to mix the black, gold, and red, making it looks as though lava rivers were running down mountains.
It would look beautiful, if it weren't for the fact that this said dragon was pissed. A threatening growl left the ground rumbling just slightly, leaning his large head down to the quaking threats, before blowing smoke in their faces with his nostrils. This caused the two to cough, before their eyes widened and they ran for the hills. The metal clang of keys made Kai perk up just a bit, looking to the ground and carefully grabbing the key ring.
Jay knew how to power Pixal and Zane back on, so he dropped the keys in Jay's reach, nudging it closer when he saw the other not paying attention to him dropping them in the first place. He was staring, wide eyes and shocked, mouth agape, and not even breathing. Why was he..? Kai took a moment to back up, sitting back on his haunches as he looked to his hands, his wrist beginning to burn with pain the transfomation, the pressure he had on it, and the fact that he knew it would take longer to heal from turning back and forth.. Turning back and..?
His eyes widened in realization, it hitting him why Jay was staring in shock. Kai wasn't in Kai form. The string had been pulled so tight it snapped and crumbled at the degrading phrases of their captors towards his family. Not only that, Kai was massive compared to their dragons before, rivaling Firstborne, despite his age. Upon this realization, he dropped back down to all fours, the silence becoming an annoyance, as he curled on himself as tightly as he could. His wings rested on his back, tucked tightly, as he looked to Lloyd. The same shocked reaction, causing him to look away, becoming more ashamed of this form by the second.
The rustling of chains boke the silence, finally, and Jay made his way to Cole, undoing the other's cuffs, before moving to Zane and Pixal and doing the same. He handed the keys to the newly freed earth ninja, working swiftly and easily on releasing the code's force hold. Cole worked just as quickly to release Nya and Lloyd from their physical holds, the large dragon watching this happen with a careful eye. Safe... Safe.. They're safe again..
No... No, they're not safe.. Not from this.. Kai could easily crush one of them underneath his paw by accident..
"Dude.." Cole finally spoke up, breaking Kai from his thoughts and turning to see Cole.. Admiring his scaling? He seemed in awe rather than shocked like before, and carefully, he reached his head up to graze Kai's body with the scales, taking in the texture. Rough bumps made the edges a bit spiked, while the remainder of the scale itself was smooth. Taking another look around, he saw Lloyd near his wings on the other side.
Cautiously, Kai opened up one of the wings, allowing the scales to glitter. This caused Lloyd to gasp, the same one he did when he saw a new print of a Starfire comic book for sale, in admiration and excitement. He glanced over when he heard bouncing and hops, before quickly catching up on hearing Jay beginning to ramble about how cool this was, Nya right beside him to try and shush him. No avail, Jay was too excited.
"Well.. This does explain a lot of your more odd natures." Zane said, the group chuckling as this got an offended 'what's that supposed to mean?' look from Kai himself. "I mean that in a nice way. Your cocky and proud nature, stubbornness, and I'm guessing you becoming so protective of all of us.."
"We have become part of Kai's hoard, like how Lloyd hoards his candy away." Pixal picked up, with Zane nodding in agreement. Jay's eyes practically grew stars in them, looking at Kai swiftly. "You DO care for us!" Still, Nya tried to calm her over excited yin. Kai smiled, before slowly and carefully standing up, being careful of his right forepaw from the stinging and heated feeling it gave. He tucked his wing back on himself, moving over to a nearby wall and nudging his way easily through it, grabbing Pixal's bike up ad settling it down. No damage other than the locator, two seater.
"If Kai's comfortable with it, two can ride on the Samurai X bike, and the rest on his back. We can make it home safely and together that way." Pixal suggested, Kai noticably perking up at the word 'safe'. Safe.. They'd all be safe!
"I CALL KAI!" Jay yelled out, causing Nya to roll her eyes, glancing over to Pixal and shaking her head softly. Despite how logical and calm Zane tried to be, Jay's excitment was becoming infectious, along with the new knowledge of Kai being a dragon and wanting to ramble about how similar it was- He burst into a sprint as soon as he saw Kaai lower himself down and spreaed his wing out for the other's to climb on. Lloyd and Cole, being the closest, managed to get on first, followed by Jay being next and Zane hesitating. Kai, however, didn't allow it to settle for long, swivling his head around to pick the nindroid up and settle him down in an open spot.
The crank of the bike, Kai glanced over to spot Pixal and Nya on the bike, helmets on, with Pixal as the rider. She gave a nod to Kai, who gave a nod back, and opened his wings up, catching air and making it out of the opening of the roof. A victorious roar rumbled through Kai's chest, hearing te cheers of the other four on his back. The engine and flying of the bike calmed him that Nya and Pixal were there, beginning to fly overhead and lead the way back to their home.
Safe.. His family was safe again..

Take These Broken Wings and Learn to Fly (Part Three.)
Here's part three! I hope you all enjoy!
When dinnertime came around, Lloyd had no idea what to do.
He wasn’t embarrassed of his new features, but he wasn’t sure if he was ready for everyone to see them.
Kai and Nya’s reactions had been pretty predictable, and Master Wu’s made sense after finding out more about what had happened when he was younger, but everyone else…
Lloyd looked in the mirror in his closet.
It had taken him a long time to get used to seeing the person in the mirror who stared back at him. It had been almost impossible for him to look in the mirror after the Tomorrow’s Tea hit him, but over time he had gotten used to his body.
Now he felt like he was back at square one.
The horns that popped out of his head pushed his hair in the wrong direction, ruining the style that he found comfortable and fitting for his face.
His eyes, even if they weren’t purple anymore, glowed brighter than they had before. He doubted that anyone else would really notice it, but it was just another reminder to him that he was far from human…
His new fangs popped out if he even thought about smiling or opening his mouth at all.
And the wings…
It was the first time he had gotten a good look at them.
He wasn’t surprised that they were gold and green. Destiny had a way of playing with him and his emotions that way. Everything of his had to be green, and if it wasn’t it was gold. The same color as the power he had lost to The Overlord.
The wings weren’t as big as they felt, but that didn’t mean that he would be able to just hide them away. In fact, he doubted that would even be possible. There was no way that he would be able to get clothing that would comfortably hide them.
Lloyd couldn’t help but think about what his uncle had told him earlier.
Master Wu had promised that he would never let anyone clip Lloyd’s wings, but that was only part of the problem.
Yes, his wings were strong and healthy for growing wings, but that didn’t mean that they were strong enough to survive a wound from a sword that would be lucky enough to hit.
He would have to learn to fight all over again. Could he even do spinjitzu right now? Or would the wings get in the way?
There was nothing he could do about it though. He couldn’t change the way he looked, he couldn’t change the path destiny had put him on.
He had to learn to adapt. He had to learn to accept.
Just like he had accepted the green gi.
Just like he had accepted the Tomorrow’s Tea.
Lloyd let out a shuddering breath. He could do this. He would be fine.
He had been through so much worse, why was this what was tripping him up? It was just a change in his physical appearance. How was it all that much different from the way his skin had become permanently paler after he had been possessed?
He tried to shake the crushing weight off of his shoulders and back, but he couldn’t. How could he shake off the wings? The actual cause of the weight?
And how could he shake off the not so subtle warnings that he would be in even more danger now that he didn’t look like a human anymore.
He reached up and tried to get his hair to lay right around the horns, but it wouldn’t. He would have to figure out how to style it differently or come to terms with the fact that it would never be the way he wanted it again.
The horns weren’t large. In fact, they were only a few inches tall. They could just barely be seen over his hair. They were smooth too, nothing like the tall, jagged horns that Garmadon had.
Lloyd sighed a frustrated sigh, then looked out his window. The sky was going dark, the sun setting on the other side of the monastery.
He was hungry. He could feel the hunger pains tightening in his stomach.
But he wasn’t sure if he wanted everyone to see him yet.
He knew that none of the ninja would hurt him, he knew that they wouldn’t bully him, but… He knew that they would stare, that they would talk behind his back about what to do about these new changes…
Nya might have been the sea, Cole may have been a ghost, but they had been able to change that.
Lloyd was a hybrid who no longer looked human, and there was nothing they could do to fix that. Plus, he was their leader. He would always be at a higher risk of injury than the rest of them.
Could he even protect himself right now? Would he be able to fight off someone who wanted to hurt him?
He couldn’t stop his mind from wandering back to Master Wu. He was the son of the First Spinjitzu Master, one of the most powerful beings in all of Ninjago, and yet… He had been overtaken and tortured, his wings had been cut off.
He had seen his uncle fight, it took a lot to take him down even in his old age. How had someone been able to take him down when he was young?
Lloyd’s thoughts were cut off by the sound of someone knocking on the door.
“Who is it?” he called.
“It’s me,” Kai said. “Can I come in? I brought you some dinner.”
Lloyd sighed, then walked over to the door and opened it. “Hey,” he said.
Kai smiled at him, but Lloyd found it almost impossible to smile back. In his hands there was a tray full of food though, a lot of them seemed to be Lloyd’s favorites.
“Zane made all of it,” Kai promised. “No need to worry about food poisoning on top of everything else.”
Lloyd nodded as Kai put the food on his desk. “Thanks,” he whispered softly.
Kai shrugged. “What are brothers for?” he said, then his face became more serious. “How are you doing?”
Lloyd sighed as he walked over and sat on his bed. “I’m doing okay,” he said. “Nothing really hurts anymore.”
It was true. His wings had stopped hurting, as had his fangs. Of course, he wasn’t doing all that great internally, but he didn’t need to get into that right now.
“What did Sensei want earlier?” Kai asked as he sat down in the chair at Lloyd’s desk.
Lloyd looked up at him, then frowned. A lot of what Master Wu had told him was personal stuff, things that Lloyd was sure his uncle didn’t want being common knowledge.
“He just wanted to make sure I was okay,” he said. “And to tell me that this is all normal apparently.”
“At least it’s normal,” Kai said as he leaned forward in the chair he was sitting in.
In a way, Kai made a good point. At least this was something that could have been expected and anticipated. It sort of made Lloyd feel better. He might be one of the only people in Ninjago who would experience this, but at least it was something that his uncle had been aware of. It wasn’t some scary curse or anything like that.
Of course, that brought up a different point though. Master Wu had known. He had known that this was going to happen to him at some point and he had kept it to himself.
He had kept so much from Lloyd. He hadn’t even been the one to tell him about his supernatural heritage. It had been Mystake who had told him, who had been there for him during all of that, not Master Wu.
Though, that was a bit unfair. At that point, Master Wu had been lost to time, or he had been deaged. There was no way that he could have been able to tell Lloyd everything when it finally came up.
But he should have told him before. Or maybe his parents should have.
Lloyd found his mind wandering back to when he and his father were on the run from The Overlord. Heritage had come up so many times, but his father had never brought up the Oni or Dragon.
And now it was like he had to figure it out all by himself. He couldn’t go to his father for help, and he knew better than to go to Garmadon…
“Did you tell the others?” Lloyd asked Kai. He wanted to change the thoughts in his brain. He didn’t want to focus on his father right now, not on top of everything else.
“We didn’t,” Kai said. “We just told them that you weren’t able to sleep last night and needed rest.”
Lloyd nodded, then looked down at his hands. One wrong move, one out of control emotion, and the claws would come back…
“Do you think they’ll act weird?” Lloyd couldn’t hold the question in.
Kai shrugged. “I mean… Zane’s always been weird, Jay overreacts about everything, and Cole is normally pretty chill,” he said. “I guess it depends on what you mean by weird.”
Lloyd kept his gaze focused on his hands. He wasn’t sure what he meant by weird. Would they stare at him? Would they make fun of him? Would they decide that he was a freak and finally abandon him?
His breathing hitched at that last thought.
Over the years, he had done everything he could to make sure he was perfect, to make sure that they would never have a reason to abandon him. But now…
He couldn’t pretend to be normal anymore. He couldn’t hide his hybrid features.
No matter how hard he tried, he could never be perfect. Someone would always have a reason to leave him.
He couldn’t be alone again…
Lloyd looked up at Kai and tried to push those thoughts as far out of his mind as possible. “What is everyone up to?” he asked, though he hated the way his voice wobbled.
“I think they were playing some video games last I checked, why?” Kai said.
Lloyd took a deep breath and tried to find that brave part of him that always seemed to hide away when he needed it the most. “Do you think I can join them?”
Kai smiled. “I don’t think they’d mind,” he said, then hesitated for a second. “Do you want me to grab you one of my hoodies? It might be big enough to cover your wings.”
Lloyd froze for a second. A hoodie would perfectly cover his wings, pulling the hood up could cover his horns, and no one would look that closely at his teeth.
He could still be normal, just for the night.
How could he say no?
