Day 6, and with it, a Metro M1Dragon. For this one, I decided to turn the train that runs on Line C of the Prague Metro into a dragon. Since the train lacks any pantographs that conduct electricity, it's forked metal tongue which used to be a coupler does the job. It sometimes sparks, so better be careful. Since this train can't fit its legs through the tunnels, it has been taken out of regular service, instead promenading the city on special occasions, in an alternate universe where all my creatures are canon in. "Ukončete výstup a nástup, dveře se zavírají."

His legs are too long for her couch.

He doesn’t fit her modest little apartment in a multitude of ways – not in reputation, status, power or stupidly long legs oh my god anything, really. But somehow he’s here regardless, and not as the infamous leader society knows him, but simply as…hers. Simply someone, anyone. Just a man, quietly exhausted from a long and brutal winter’s day, his usual effortless incendiary strength subdued.

He’d sneezed as she’d answered the door, the biting chill stealing his intended greeting for its own.

And now he lies with his head resting in her lap, her thumb stroking a gentle repeating mantra along his shoulder. A barely audible sniffle, then a notably sharper one, as he murmurs something indistinct and rubs his reddened nose with a force belying his tiredness.

She trails her fingers through his hair, over the arch of his brow, soothing hypnotic featherlight,  and down the strong, straight line of his nose, that perfect profile she marvels at again and again, feels his nostrils flare against her touch. His breath catches, urgent, imperative, and she warms all over as his expression crumbles, the rest of the world on pause.

Luxaeterna, a participant in the first true battle of the war between the Rainwings and Icewings, the Battle of Stolen Light. Her venom-fangs were torn out by an Icewing poacher, and after surviving and avoiding capture, replaced them with harder gemstone teeth. She’s well known for the number of Icewing skulls she’s impaled throughout the war. She is Boomslang and Quetzal’s great aunt. Postwar, she has been reunited with her living grandnephew and accompanies him for scale retrieval in the Ice and Sky Kingdoms.

Quetzal in his last moments before being murdered by an Icewing poacher. He had sold Boomslang’s egg to the Icewings in the hopes of gaining immunity from the scale trade- but he learned far too late that a bargain can’t be kept with someone who wants to wear your skin.
