Does anyone ever have the inescapable feeling of “I want to go home” but also Where Is Home. Do I Even Have One? Is it the gilded cage I was born in where the people who made me raised me? Is it my undergrad where I finally found community? Is it a person?

I used to survive by looking forward to things that made made me happy and excited. Lately, those things to look forward to are far and few. I am now just surviving on just trying to get through the days. It's getting harder and harder. I'm barely hanging on. I don't have anything left in me. Everyday is surviving on autopilot or routine. It's a cruel and dark life.

i have applied to over 50 places in the last 5 months, i’ve even (now that we’re getting to that season) applied for seasonal because at this point i’ll take anything

i have heard nothing back even after calling, i’ve had countless emails sent back to me and all of them were rejection emails, i’ve even applied at the walmart my brother works at (he even asked about my application after i put it in), heard nothing even after calling

the thing is it’s not that no one wants to work, no one is able to work. getting a job and being able to survive day to day should not be this hard.

The worst feeling is like when you feel as if you're slowly losing yourself and can't stop dropping random lore but also thinking your problems are NOT as bad as others but also just wanting to sob all of the time being on the verge of screaming and crying you know like

curse the invention of electrical stoves yes i get gas stoves are more fire-prone and less eco-friendly shut up

wish you had an induction stove

check the food again

decide you quite like barely al-dente foods
