But in the late 1970s, it began to be offered in both a four-door sedan and a convertible. In the 1980s, the series added high-tech electronic equipment. The 1980 "Signature Series" edition was available in both coupe and sedan formats. It included a variety of extra options and features, such as a power-folding retractable hardtop and leather seats. Designer editions were also offered. These featured unique exterior color combinations and were available for the coupe and sedan models. Some models even had a 22-karat gold-plated plaque on the instrument panel.
Town Car
The Lincoln Town Car Parts is a full-size luxury sedan that is available in coupe, sedan, and limousine body styles. It was introduced in the late 1960s as a four-door limousine and in the early 1970s as a two-door convertible.
Although the car's name is a bit of a mouthful, the car itself was a popular luxury vehicle for many years. While the Town Car lacked many modern convenience features, it maintained its soft ride, a large trunk, and decent luxury.
The most important feature of the car was its reliability. Rear-wheel drive was standard and it had a sturdy frame.
Other impressive features included an inverted roof line that gave the model a more ceremonial limo-like appearance. There was also a digital display that told you how far your trip would go.

Continental
The Lincoln Continental is the name of a short lived division of the Ford Motor Company. It was a luxury car with an eye-catching design. While it was not as successful as its sister brand, the Mercury, it saved the day for Lincoln car parts and the rest of the company.
Although the newer model had a hefty price tag, it still had a lot going for it. One of the most notable was its one-piece body style. This was the first time that Used Lincoln Auto Parts the one-piece style since its inception. In a twist of fate, the model made its way into the Ford Crown Victoria.
Used Lincoln Auto Parts on Sale - Engine, Transmission, Axle Assembly, Differential Assembly, Suspension Crossmember, Transfer case, Seat, Drive Shaft, Cylinder head, Steering Column, Rack and pinion.
Aside from its hefty price tag, it was also the most expensive car produced by any American manufacturer. In order to reduce the cost of assembly, Ford opted for a more cost effective approach by replacing the original four-cylinder engine with a smaller two-cylinder unit.

The Lincoln Motor Company is a division of Ford Motor Company that sells luxury cars and SUVs to consumers across the world. The company produces a full range of vehicles from SUVs to luxury pickup trucks and crossover vehicles.
Lincoln's first automobile model, the Lincoln L-Series, was released in 1920. A few years later, the company launched the Lincoln Navigator, which was a four-wheel drive vehicle and Lincoln's first SUV.

Leland's relationship with Ford after the sale
Lincoln's relationship with Ford started in 1922 when the two automakers purchased Quality Lincoln Auto Parts Online. This move was to better compete with Cadillac and General Motors' luxury brands.

Leland became a key player in the early automobile industry in the United States. He later founded the Cadillac Automobile Company. Later, he bought a portion of the General Motors company for $4.5 million.

1969-71 Continental Mark III
Iacocca’s Lincoln: The Inside Story of the 1969-71 Continental Mark III
Lee Iacocca is remembered as the father of the Ford Mustang and the Chrysler Minivan, but there was another Iacocca vehicle that changed the Motor City: the Lincoln Continental Mark III.
In auto industry lore, the design studio guys hate it when the people from upper management start fooling around with their work. Nothing good can come from that, or so the story goes. But there’s at least one instance that cuts against the grain of that familiar Motor City tale. It was Ford senior executive Lee Iacocca who originated the two signature styling features of the Lincoln Continental Mark III: the classic stand-up grille and the faux tire bustle in the deck lid.
It’s no exaggeration to note that these visual features created a design theme and defined the Lincoln Mark Series brand for decades. Years later, lead designer L. David Ash would recall that neither he nor Styling VP Gene Bordinat had conceived these two now-famous design gadgets; no, in fact it was all Iacocca. “Neither one of us would have done it on our own, I’m sure,” Ash remembered. “I have to give Lee credit for that.”
As vice president of the Ford Motor Company’s car and truck group—top product boss, among other duties—Lido Anthony “Lee” Iacocca had at least two problems on his plate in the autumn of 1965. First, sales of the Ford Thunderbird had flattened out after a promising start years earlier. Meanwhile, Ford’s flagship Lincoln division wasn’t setting the world on fire, either. While the Elwood Engel-designed 1961 Lincoln was a style maker of the decade, it was nearing the end of its product cycle. Actually, Lincoln was a perennial problem for Ford senior management. According to Bordinat, it had never turned an actual profit since Henry and Edsel Ford acquired the company from the Lelands in 1922.
So a plan was hatched to build a new, small Lincoln on the same platform as the Thunderbird, which was switching to body-on-frame construction for 1967 (in part due to limited production volume). This would help the Thunderbird fill out production capacity at the Wixom, Michigan plant, and it would give Lincoln an entry in the rapidly expanding personal-luxury category, joining the Buick Riviera, Cadillac Eldorado, Olds Toronado, et alia.
The original body design by Ash and his staff, at one point named the Lancelot, was clean and elegant but lacked visual punch, one could argue. Iacocca’s fake-Rolls grille shell and spare-tire bump fixed that, creating a distinctive and memorable look. It was said that the chrome grille shell was the most expensive such piece in the industry, with a unit cost nearing $200. Ash and crew completed the theme by hiking up the rear quarters and deck lid two inches, scrunching the roof down into the body for a classic ’30s profile.
From its exterior appearance, you might never know that the finished design shared its greenhouse with the Thunderbird coupe, or its floorpan, black metal, and 117.2-inch wheelbase with the T-Bird four-door. When Henry Ford II saw the clay model in the studio, he reportedly said, “I’d like to drive that home.” With the Ford family’s seal of approval secured, the new car was christened the Continental Mark III, establishing its lineage with Edsel Ford’s original 1939 Continental and the Continental Mark II of 1956-57. At that point the previous Mark III, IV and V models of 1958-60 were conveniently forgotten—today it would be called a reboot.
Introduced in April 1968 as a 1969 model, technically (Lincoln division downplayed model year designations, trying to present the car as “timeless”) the Mark III was panned by the critics but embraced by the car-buying public. “The buffs may not like it but the people with money will,” Bordinat wisely predicted. The Mark wasn’t big for an American luxury car at just over 216 inches long and 4,800 lbs, but it was big enough, with solid road manners and a comfortable ride. Interior specialist Herman Brunn covered the seats with rich, pre-creased leather, like the easy chairs in a men’s club. Noteworthy technical features included an all-new 460 CID V8 and Sure-Track, an early form of antilock braking developed by Kelsey-Hayes.
With a base price of $6,758 compared to $4,807 for its Thunderbird cousin, the Mark III was quite a moneymaker for the Motor Company, spawning an even more popular and profitable successor, the Mark IV (shown with Iacocca below). The Mark series, which comfortably outsold the Eldorado and effectively doubled the Lincoln division’s volume at times, continued on all the way to 1998 and the Mark VIII, and Iacocca would to on to further glories, including the Chrysler Minivan.

5 Sleeper Cars You Never Considered
5. 1997-1999 W210 Mercedes Benz E300 TurboDiesel
We’re starting this list with a lesser known beast, at least in North America. From 1997-1999, Mercedes Benz produced the W210 E300 Turbo Diesel, featuring the OM606, inline 6, turbocharged diesel making a whopping 170 horsepower and 240lb-ft of torque. Granted, it may not be much of a sleeper in stock form, but the W210 E300TD hides a monster underneath it’s hood. Daimler’s OM606 in turbocharged form is known to reliably make big power, and is colloquially known as the diesel 2JZ. Simple mods, like a piggy back ECU, can easily unlock up to an extra 100 horsepower and torque; while more impressive, big turbo builds are known to get into the 600 club with ease.
While more common in Europe and Asia, a sedan variant of the W210 E300TD was brought to the US, and can be found anywhere from $6,000-$10,000 in 2023 depending on mileage and condition. Values are starting to climb as the aftermarket community is realizing the tuning potential of these robust engines, so I’d keep a keen eye out for a good deal on one before they become subject to the drift tax.

4. 2009 Chevrolet HHR SS Panel Van
Made for just a single model year, the Chevrolet HHR SS Panel Van is on the short-list for becoming a collector car. Largely a product of the age of the nostalgic, classic recreations of the early 2000s, GM found it fitting to add the proven Cobalt SS powertrain to the HHR platform. Featuring the familiar, 260 horsepower, 260lb-ft torque, Ecotech Turbo-4 and 5-speed manual, the HHR SS was a sleeper right out of the box. Factoring in the significant aftermarket support, the practicality of a panel van was the pièce de résistance of the HHR platform.
With the HHR SS Panel being sold only in 2009 and in extremely low quantities, it’s a challenge to find any for sale. Don’t be surprised to see figures over $20,000 for a decently maintained example.

3. 2019 Buick Regal GS
While not the “sportiest” option on this list, the 2019 Buick Regal GS offered a middle-of-the-road option in the mid-size sport sedan class. With a 3.6 liter V6 making 310 horsepower and 282lb-ft of torque mated up to a 9-speed automatic driving all four wheels, it wasn’t exactly a slouch. From the factory, it offers 5.4 second 0-60 sprints, making it a solid stoplight racer. Its Buick nameplate, poor marketing, and lack of aftermarket support led to few sales, and even fewer knowing the significance of the “GS” badging. This makes for an ideal, under-the-radar sleeper.
Being a newer model on this list, it’s not uncommon to find a Regal GS selling for over $30k, especially with lower mileage.

2. 2017-2020 Lincoln MKZ 3.0TT AWD/2017-2019 Ford Fusion Sport
The Lincoln MKZ 3.0TT AWD and Ford Fusion Sport share a spotlight on this list, just as they shared most everything else. Built on the same platform, there are only a few key differences between the models. The 2017-2019 Fusion Sport was largely a parts bin special, featuring brakes from the Ford Edge Sport, adaptive suspension from the shared MKZ, and Ford’s widely used 2.7 twin turbo, Ecoboost V6 driving all four wheels. This produced an impressive 325 horsepower and 380lb-ft of torque, competent handling, and total sleeper status as the general public would struggle to find the difference between the Sport, and the Fusions on their local rental car lot. The MKZ took it a step further, though, using Ford’s 3.0 twin turbo V6, cranking out 400 horsepower and matching torque from the factory. Similar to the Fusion, the MKZ 3.0TT AWD is hard to separate from its hybrid and lower trims commonly used for Uber Black, but it’s proven itself to be a straight line beast. From the factory, the MKZ would hit 60mph in 5 seconds flat, and on to a 13.5 second quarter mile. With just a few supporting mods and a tune, these cars make enough power to shave a full second off of those times with ease, provided you don’t snap an axle on the launch. If you’re a glutton for torque steer, the engineers at Ford thought it’d be fun to offer the same, 3 liter, twin turbo, V6 powertrain with front wheel drive, albeit with 50 less horsepower.
Being produced until 2020, the MKZ is another newer entry on the list, and prices tend to range from $25k-40k depending on mileage, trim, and options. While offering fewer luxury features, the Fusion Sport is typically more budget friendly, ranging from $18k-30k.

1. 2007 Mercedes Benz R63 AMG
Yes, Mercedes Benz earned two spots on this list, but I assure you, this is well deserved. While it’s up for debate as to what car segment the R-Class belongs to, it’s commonly referred to as a minivan. Having three rows of seats, a slightly elevated driving position, and being optimized for luxurious family cruises, it’s hard to imagine how this made it to the number one spot on our list. Enter the R63 AMG. The mad scientists in Stuttgart crammed the iconic 6.2 liter, naturally aspirated, M156 V8 under the hood. It made 503 horsepower and 465lb-ft of torque, driving all four wheels via the AMG Speedshift 7G-Tronic 7 speed transmission. Despite being a heavyweight at over 5000lbs, the R63 rocketed you and your 5 additional passengers and their luggage to 60mph in around 4.5 seconds. Aside from the AMG badging, the R63 is as inconspicuous as they come, that is until the roar of the V8 comes screaming past you at over 7,000RPM.
Finding an R63 is tricky. With only 200 made for one model year, they tend to sell between $30-$50k according to the listings on Bring a Trailer.

57 years ago today...
"Batman" premiered on ABC TV, January 12th, 1966. The series quickly became a cultural phenomenon. Children were able to watch it as a straight adventure series, while adults could appreciate it's camp sensibilities and dead-pan humor. The series had a colorful pop art style that was unlike anything else on TV. The series also had a huge impact on sales of Batman comics, as well comic books in general, and helped launch Batman into his current status as the most popular comic book character of all time.
The series was originally intended to be an hour long, but ABC only had two half-hour time slots available, so the episodes were split in two. Which the first part of the Episode would leave our Dynamic Duo in a cliff hanger for the BATFAN’s to stay tuned into the the second part of the story and wonder how their Heroes will escape from the rogues gallery of villains

The other things which made this Live Action TV Series Great was the Bat gadgets such as the Ironic Batmobile which was designed and built George Barris using 1955 Lincoln Futura concept car he had purchased from Ford for $1.00. Ford had used it for many years to promote "the car of tomorrow"
And Mr Barris had only three weeks and $15,000 (US) to turn it into the Batmobile, which included adding a Ford Galaxy chassis
Even to when people see the Original TV Batmobile it turns heads it’s the most Famous car from TV and film History
This past last year we lost the legend Batman himself Mr Adam West 9th June, 2017 at the age of 88
I was so grateful to had meet Mr West while attending LA Comic Con 2016 I was able to have a few laughs with the Man himself who was a kind and friendly gentleman it only lasted a short time meet and greet but I will never forget it as I Met My BATMAN
Mr West will live on as he made TV History and worldwide fans young and old and he will always be in our heart

In Australia, the new Optima went on sale in January 2011. Initially available in only one grade, the highly specified "Platinum", it was later joined by an entry-level "Si" model in the 2012 model year. Both models feature a 2.4L GDI engine with 6-speed automatic. A manual was not offered.
Saturn is defunct in 2010 there are a few other things happening this is an important portion of it. You can see the Saturn aura above interior and you can see the Kia Optima EXGDI down below which our son had and it is the same car and has power just like the Saturn and it's because the Saturn Company was using A KIA chassis. There's only one problem that the Saturn that Arnold had is when his son was using and it caused a big problem for the clan and so and so that chassis is the one that would be used and the last one who had it was Donald Trump and he says he used Tommy F Stinger and we know that he took our son's car out disguised as the Stinger and he was injured and we think he used the wrong car. come to find out somebody pulled a switcheroo they wanted to have a son's car no they wanted to have a son's car and took the Stinger which had our son's emblems and stuff and they thought they had Tommy F car and they built the supercar on top of our sons car and the engine is a V six and it was severely limited and the engine is AV6 and it was severely limited because the catalytic converter was clogged and he almost cleared it and he would have had 350 horsepower which is about 50 more horsepower than his firebird had and that thing weighed£3500 almost well it was 3200 lbs dry.. These things are heavy but let's say this this is not the car you think it is as the frame that the Kia company used was actually from America. It is not a small car and it was from the Oldsmobile Delta 88 and he picked up on it right away and he keeps on driving up onto things with the left car side and getting it dinged and it's terrible because of the idiot mac proper. Before the Delta 88 it was a couple of cars and Kia used the same frame that they were building back then they had it was a different Lincoln it was smaller it's the same frame and the thing was huge but the thing was extended and they messed with the frame yeah they put extensions on it OK and that's what kept doing and the Mac proper are doing it and no they have people do it and they have us make sure it works it was that car first and it's ridiculous no it came from a black car it's not an infamous car it's a car frame that our son helped design it turned out to be very sturdy and it helped a lot. The first car it was on was the first sedan they had that was the Delta 88 and that's what it means and it means Morlock and they're saying us no they're saying foreigners in us and they kept saying it and yeah grandpa had it and it worked for a long time it's a ladder frame and he designed it himself and it's ridiculous he's a child but it came out pretty good he knows why it's sturdy in Harrah helps to design it. and laughs your teh ones havingme climb a ladder and laughed nd she does too. they were facsinated. now it is following him. and it is called jacobs ladder. and he knows it and she. why. ok.

1980s: The Acura brand
Following a decade of research, Honda opened 60 new dealerships in North America by 1986, to support its Acura automobile division. Acura was the first Japanese luxury brand to be introduced, and its initial offering consisted of two models: the executive class Legend, a V6-powered sedan, and the compact class Integra, available as a five-door and three-door hatchback. The Legend was the result of Project XX, a joint venture Honda entered into with the Austin Rover Group of Great Britain and was mechanically related to the Rover 800 series, and the Integra was an improvement of the Honda Quint hatchback.
The success of these models, particularly the Legend, led to competing Japanese luxury brand ventures (Toyota's Lexus that began development in 1983 as the F1 project, and Nissan's Infiniti who began development in 1985 by revising their Japan-only flagship Nissan President; in the late 1990s Mazda planned but never launched its own Amati luxury division). The goal of the Legend was to compete with rivals Toyota Crown and the Nissan Cedric and Gloria, but due to its 1986 introduction worldwide, Toyota, Nissan and other companies like Lincoln took notice of the markets reaction to the Legend and later the Vigor and offered vehicles that addressed the executive size car. Toyota introduced the Lexus ES, Nissan introduced the Infiniti J30 and Lincoln utilized the Taurus platform and named their new sedan the Continental.
In 1987, Acura's first full year of sales, they sold 109,000 cars with the flagship Legend sedan accounting for 55,000 sales and the rest were of the smaller Integra. By 1990, Acura was selling 138,000 vehicles, including 54,000 Legends, compared to Mercedes-Benz's 78,000 cars and 64000 for BMW and Lexus.
1990s: NSX, updates
In 1991, five years after the debut of the Legend and Integra, Acura introduced the NSX, a midship V6 powered, rear-wheel-drive sports car. The NSX, an acronym for "New Sports eXperimental", was billed as the first Japanese car capable of competing with Ferrari and Porsche. This vehicle served as a "image car" for the Acura brand, heralding the introduction of Honda's VTEC technology. The NSX was the world's first all-aluminum production car, and was also marketed and viewed by some as the "Everyday Supercar" thanks in part to its ease of use, quality and reliability, traits that were unheard of in the supercar segment at the time. With the release of the NSX, Acura introduced the "A-badge", a stylized pair of calipers - a tool used for exacting measurements to imply that Acura vehicles are built to precise and demanding standards.
Despite a strong start in market acceptance for the Acura brand, sales suffered in the mid-to-late 1990s. Some critics attributed this decline in part to less inspiring designs, which were re-branded Japanese-spec Hondas, such as the Acura Vigor in 1992, a response to the Lexus ES and Infiniti J30. Additionally, during this time Acura switched to an alphanumeric nomenclature formula, dropping the Legend, Vigor and Integra titles, following the lead of the NSX sportscar. The 1996 3.5 RL, which replaced the popular Legend, and the Vigor became the 2.5 TL and 3.2 TL, and was regarded by many as the epitome of this problem, namely because the alphanumeric designations were more anonymous than the former Legend, Vigor and Integra titles, which had grown into their own cult followings. Also, the RL's 210 horsepower (160 kW) V6 (later increased to 225 hp), together with a high price and styling that cautiously copied the larger rear wheel drive and V-8 powered Lexus LS 400, did little against BMW, Audi, Lexus, and other competitors.
During this time, the NSX also lost sales as Acura made few changes from its original 1989 trim. A year later, the Integra sedan was withdrawn from the Canadian market, replaced by the market-exclusive Acura 1.6EL, a rebadged Honda Civic. The Integra sedan continued to be sold in the United States until 2001 (in name only, the model it was replaced with, the RSX, was simply a rebadged left-hand-drive version of the JDM DC5 Honda Integra). The Acura 3.2 TL.
Despite these letdowns, Acura gained prominence in the 1990s with a young group of customers: "tuner" enthusiasts. Parent company Honda's reputation with this demographic as a maker of "easy-to-tune" and "rev-happy" engines rubbed off onto Acura, and the Integra became a popular tuner car.
2000-2003: TL, RSX, MDX
Beginning around the year 2000, Acura experienced a rebirth which was catalyzed by the introduction of several redesigned models. The first of these models was the 1999 Acura 3.2 TL, an upscale sedan competing with the likes of the Lexus ES, Infiniti I30, and BMW 3-series. Critics suggested that although 3.2 TL did not outdo its competition in any one area of luxury cars, it offered a well-rounded blend of sportiness and luxury. These characteristics, combined with the TL's competitive price, proved very popular with consumers. Subsequent Acura models have followed a similar philosophy of offering lots of standard equipment and very few options.
Another refreshed Acura introduced in the early 2000s was the MDX, a popular three-row crossover SUV based on the Honda Odyssey minivan. The MDX replaced the slow-selling SLX, which was little more than a rebadged Isuzu Trooper. The MDX was a car-like crossover SUV with limited off-road capability that catered to the demands of the luxury SUV market. It was given top honors by Car and Driver in its first comparison test against seven other SUVs. Other cars in Acura's line-up during this time included the 3.2 TL, 3.2 CL, RSX (formerly the Integra hatchback), and the NSX. By the late 2000s, Acura had dropped the inclusion of engine displacement numbers in its vehicle designations, retaining a simpler, two- or three-letter designation instead (e.g. 3.5 RL became RL). The 2000s have been plagued by transmission and other problems.
In 2001, a new coupe, badged as the RSX was introduced to the Acura line up. It was a replacement for the outgoing Integra. The RSX is a rebadged Honda Integra (DC5) from the Japanese market. As a result, the RSX is technically a new generation of the outgoing Integra. Much like the Integra, the RSX was a hit in the tuner market. However, at the end of 2006, the RSX was taken out of the Acura line up, subsequently in the Japanese market as well. It is not known why the RSX did not continue to be sold as the Integra in Japan, however, the reason that Acura gave for the cancellation of the RSX is that Acura wishes to move up in the luxury brand, thus cannot sell a car that is mostly driven by teenagers.
2004-2006: RL, TSX, RDX
A new TL debuted for the 2004 model year, featuring sharp, Italianate styling and a 270 hp (200 kW) V6 measured by the then-current SAE standards. The new TL increased sales dramatically to 70,943 American units in 2005, trumping competitors such as the C-Class, G35, CTS, ES 300, and A4.
Also around the same time the Acura TSX was introduced as a cheaper alternative to the BMW 3-Series. It was essentially a re-badged European and Japanese-market Honda Accord loaded with features. This model became the only 4-cylinder sedan in Acura's line-up.
In 2005, a new RL was introduced with a 300 hp (220 kW) V6, improved styling, and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD), a system capable of sending almost all of the RL's power to just one wheel in a turn. The second-generation RL appeared on Car and Driver's Ten Best list for 2005, and also garnered an CNET.com "Editor's Choice" Award for Top Tech Car. While critically acclaimed, sales have not met expectations, as the price of the RL is perceived to be out of its bracket. As the new RL offered more features and performance than the base version of its luxury competition's (i.e., the base six-cylinder. BMW 5 Series), Honda Japan suggested that it could charge more, though Honda Canada disagreed. The RL's initial MRSP was $69,500 CAD, more than the six-cylinder BMW 525i and close to that of the V8-powered BMW 545i. At the RL's price point, most consumers expected a V8, furthermore they did not perceive Acura as being on par with its German rivals and expected more value from the Japanese marque. The damage from Honda Japan's alleged hubris was done, even though Honda Canada has since reduced the RL's price.
Acura's new models—particularly the TL and TSX—were well received by the motoring press and became Acura's top selling vehicles. The TSX was on Car and Driver's Ten Best list from 2004–2006.
In 2006 Acura introduced a small SUV which was based on its own unqiue unibody chassis called the RDX with models becoming available to U.S. consumers in August 2006. It is powered by a turbocharged 240-hp 4-cylinder engine and, like the RL, uses Acura's SH-AWD system. The model is available in two versions: Premium (the standard offering), and Technology Package (an upgraded offering with a GPS navigation system). A completely redesigned MDX became available in the fall of 2006 with a 300 hp (220 kW) V6 engine and Super Handling All-Wheel Drive.

Judy Wiggins to talk about Ethel Clagett and Mabel Porter, successful owners of a Natchez car dealership
Judy Wiggins
Presentation will be given at April 25 meeting of the Natchez Historical Society
NATCHEZ, Miss. – As successful entrepreneurs in Natchez between 1914 and the 1960s, Ethel Clagett and Mabel Porter were reportedly among the first women in the United States to own and operate a car dealership that was not previously owned by a male spouse or relative.
New research on their success will be shared by Judy Wiggins at the April 25 meeting of the Natchez Historical Society at Historic Natchez Foundation, 108 S. Commerce St. The social will begin at 5:30 p.m., and Wiggin’s presentation will start at 6 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public.
Wiggins’ presentation is titled, "An Early 20th Century Team of Natchez Trailblazers, Ethel Clagget and Mabel Porter." It is the annual Grace McNeil lecture hosted by the NHS.
Wiggins is a retired Humanities Coordinator and English instructor at Copiah-Lincoln Community College.
Alan Wolf, a director of NHS, noted the business partnership between Clagett and Porter was not only successful, but that it lasted 50 years. “In operating the enduring dealership, Ethel managed sales and Mabel managed parts and repairs,” he said. “They became a major downtown presence and Ethel a major civic force in Natchez and Mississippi.”
Wolf said that Wiggins, who has spent many years researching the history of the businesswomen, “has added significant new research to her body of knowledge of these two extraordinary people.”
Wiggins holds a Master of Arts from Appalachian State University of Boone, N.C., and a Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Southern Mississippi. She earned her Associate in Arts at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. She has completed additional studies in English at Alcorn State University and Mississippi College.
Wiggins is co-editor of “The River: The Natchez Poetry Anthology.” She is also the author of "In the Heart of Ponder Country,” a cookbook.
Wiggins has served as lecturer for many groups, schools, and organizations, including the Mississippi Humanities Council, the Louisiana Humanities Council, Elderhostel International, the Natchez Literary and Cinema Celebration, Co-Lin Natchez Institute for Learning in Retirement, and the Natchez Historical Society.

Automotive Windshield Washer System Market Market Will Generate Booming Growth Opportunities to 2033
By 2033, the market for Automotive Windshield Washer System Market Size is anticipated to grow at a considerable CAGR of 5.0%. Market share is anticipated to rise from US$ 21 billion in 2023 to US$ 34.2 billion by 2033, according to FMI statistics.
The car has a control switch, which could be operated for spraying washer fluid onto windshield, especially by making use of electrical pump through jets mounted underneath wiper blade or windshield. These windshield wipers could be turned ‘on’ on an automatic basis, thereby cleaning debris and dirt off windshield.
In cool climate, washer fluid could be pre-heated prior to getting delivered onto windshield. This happens when thin layer of frost or ice gets accumulated on the surface of windshield, especially as it does away with manually scrapping windshield or pouring warm water on glass. These pre-heat devices are available as a part of aftermarket services, but some makers of automobiles do provide this feature beforehand.
The present scenario is such that IoT is being integrated successfully with automotive systems and components for interacting with internal systems and their surroundings Rain-sensing wiper system is witnessing a remarkable demand, so as to offer synchronized system that would integrate rain-sensing wiper technology and weather forecast. The mid-sized cars are expected to increasingly adopt automotive windshield washer system. Along these lines, compact sedan carline from Volkswagen called ‘Ameo’ does come with ‘rain-sensing wipers’. Chevrolet Impala from General Motors has extra features like rear audio controls, folding side mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers.
The market participants are also into floating new manufacturing plants in the emerging economies. For example –Audi AG began manufacturing Audi Q5 at San Jose Chiapa (Mexico). BMW AG did announce plans for establishing a plant at San Luis Potosi (Mexico). Ford Motor Company did announce plans along the similar grounds (US$ 1.6 Bn). Future Market Insights has walked through these facts with future perspectives in its latest market study entitled ‘Automotive Windshield Washer System Market’. The analysts and consultants are with their bottom-up approach to execute.

Key Takeaways from Automotive Windshield Washer System market
Europe holds the largest market share with Germany leading from the front. This could be credited to car owners likely to stock the products for keeping windshields crystal clean at the time of long rides. The frequency of travel has increased for both – work and leisure. On these grounds, collaborating with tech companies is on the anvil. The UK and France stand second.
North America holds a significant market share. This could be credited to growing production as well as sales of vehicles along with growing vehicle parc.
As far as the Asia-Pacific is concerned, Japan dominates the market. This could be reasoned with increasing number of automobile manufacturers all across the country.

Dogs are happier travelling in EVs than ICE: science says so
Dogs are happier travelling in EVs than ICE: science says so
A “first of its kind” study by the University of Lincoln in the UK, in partnership with British car sales website CarGurus, has concluded that dogs are more relaxed in electric vehicles (EVs) than internal combustion engine (ICE) diesel ones; diesel presumably chosen to represent the extreme opposite in electric in terms of noise and vibration. The study was carried out in part as a response to…

There's a huge number of people here who attempting to bother my husband all the time and I need them the hell out of here honestly goodness they are horrible people we got a couple things to talk about one of them is this ridiculous attitude here and why do they think they can do it and what they're up to I don't want to deal with this idiots anymore it looks like we're stuck with them so here we go
-today we're doing presale on several companies my husband and I got together with Olympus and others and we discussed a few companies and we had to they are going to help us it's a lot of work for two young people to do and to take on but we are and we love doing it for our people and ourselves we do need support and our activities today and we need support on these sales and we need to get them done we need hours to sign on all of us I am amazed it's not done yet absolutely amazed we should have everybody signed up every man woman and child.
*one of the companies is Chrysler and they are selling Lincoln and Dodge believe it or not that is a huge huge deal and it is a portion of the ownership they don't need permission to sell and they can sell who they want to they're planning on doing it though and they planned on selling to us and they planned on us being very arrogant and mostly competent so they're getting their way they say and what we say is you're just not into living that much and we're going ahead with it and today is a pre-sale agreement for 40% of the company it will probably quickly turn into 50% and we will start to make changes as in activate power assembly plants and production plants and we will begin manufacturing the automobile and part of it will be to build a supercar and hypercar you're making a deal with one of the owners to provide them with a certain number of them within a certain period of time and we can do it and his might be a little bit special because it's faster and others will want them and my husband says that we can still call them Chrysler but call them something different like limited edition and you change the Marquee and you change the engine a little and the trim package and you say it's the upgrade but really talking about the hull being much stronger. They happened to agree with it because it's a form of cover it's happened with Chevy and no it's happened with Dodge and the Challenger and the charger became very strong and they introduced it as a special model. These cars are going to be extremely fast and he doesn't want us to mention it but his will go nuts and they find out how fast this purchase hopefully go through today this pre-purchase and we hope to have 10% soon after because we want to start producing other vehicles no tons of vehicles and he knows we need the 10%, so we are going ahead and we're sitting to sign it there's a couple more companies
*one of them has to do with Chicago and the hospital up there it's a big hospital it has a lot of people in it and we are going to find out what that hospital is up to because we are purchasing 50% of it in a pre-purchase agreement today and it's called Chicago hospital it's a very busy hospital they do a lot of work on people they make a ton of money and it is a repressed and depressed area but we do have facilities for that and attend we intend to uncontrolling it more to make it more hospitable this is one way to do it companies there's several other companies we're going to purchase
*one of them is a division of acceler metal that we haven't bought yet and it's fairly good size it is a gigantic steel company and it's a subsidiary that we're still working on and we work on these subsidiaries quite often and it is US steel that's like number two on Earth and my husband knows and he's worked on projects that had them doing things like this deal and they usually have a different name because the erector gets a price from the steel company and carries the cost and does the furnished and installed job they use tons of wreckers it's a big big business to erect steel and there's many many companies but this firm has a select list of Erectors that they work with and it keeps them in business throughout this or whatever you want to call it really it's of the max plan yeah we're going ahead today with a pre-purchase agreement for around 70% of the company it's very huge that we're purchasing so much of it and people don't believe it and there are a couple other affirms but this company is going to make a big difference it's not a presale it is a signing for purchase
*there are a few other things that are happening one of them is we have a constant discussion here but my husband and you threatening all sorts of dumb things like your little girls and you continue to deteriorate into being b****** we are going to deny you access the things if you continue your rude asinine behavior and it is to try and retain order while we're trying to stop the empire along with you but we do have another company we're purchasing and it is about 40% of the company it's related to accelerate metal it's another subsidiary and it is Pittsburgh steel and a huge companies and everybody's doing all these studies to try and see how we operate it's rather annoying and it's dangerous for you but Pittsburgh Steelers are very big company on the East Coast that's the Mac area it was surprised people are not selling more shares he thought they wanted us to mix it up with them they say they don't want us to mix it up too much we might take over their stuff so they're trying to ease us into it and that's what they're doing this is a big company they produce steel up and down the Eastern seaboard as we said and it's a lot of steel it's more steel on the Eastern seaboard than any other company and that's why I have a great interest to us it is great interest to us because we have so many negative calls from the next and they did this morning again and we don't need them doing it at all I am now calling for a meeting about this area and about the treatment here I'm noticing that most things are still the same and they're quite horrible and we're not using them as cover and we're not labeling them cover and would not initializing or instigating them it just happens to be covered and that's very dangerous to use it because we don't know if it's working and we're not controlling it we're going to head now and we will have a meeting several other things are happening here today we have a lunch meeting and it's between my husband and two members of the pseudo empire and I think that my husband's in on it and he's trying to create a piece between the two groups and he wants you to find some common ground so it's not to ruin his life and destroy each other he has to try and live here that's what's going on
Hera
Olympus
Did you find the introduction to be a bit Stern but that's the way it is
Zues
This is great just know who he is we're going ahead on a lot of this projects one of them that he likes is a bader he doesn't really like the character or the helmet thinks it looks weird and it's cumbersome and you have to fight like some sort of aristocrat with your head straight up just waiting for it so he talks but we find it to be a useful helmet and things get shed off it away from your neck and you can lower it and covers the neck area to a degree you also put armor there let's save many lives so we can use it for that and he helped design it and his wife did too but he came up with it it looks odd lot of his helmets do and the ones that work on the laser that have the huge ones because it's a laser issues come from behind a lot of people are saved by it and they're saved every day it's no longer looked at as a dead end job Delta wear body armor and it looks very impressive there's a few different versions of some intense furthermore the idea is pretty good and of course he would want the full car and end up with the first one and Shaquille O'Neal does not have the first one it's in storage it has only about 100 miles and is asking where number two is and we know about that and she gets that one and she's having it said he says and is surprised and blindsighted so we have to watch out for that we knew about it but she's smiling cuz she's going to come from behind like Darth Vader now these two have characters in the Star wars series and one of them might be Darth Vader the other one is Captain phasma and she is in a whole bunch of scenes and our lady is too in the background and you can see them fighting and it's intense and he fights like a crazy man if you're not gone at the end of the fight there's something wrong that's how you know it's him everybody gets destroyed and it created a legend people will look for it and we'll see him in the background in almost every battle wiping people out with two swords and a blaster and tons of speed very fast about a hundred miles an hour and she's doing it too we like the car idea and he's going to post it
Thor Freya
You like the car idea too and it's incredibly fast so he has to have a limiter even if he has the smaller motor he's tired of the smaller motor it sounds funny but that's what he's going to have to have and it's a nice vehicle it really is probably the only supercar he's going to have and he says besides the Bradley GT and okay it is another one or the Ford GT that might be another one all those cars will be slow. And we're laughing because Ken and Mr Bean are doing the skit they're trying to get the check at the buffet and yes here comes and it's giving our son the eyeball and Mr Bean says yes take the limiter out and does the handshake and hand up to the hair and does a Russian send out routine it's a little bit too friendly and she's doing that so he's going to post it but really we like the car and the idea
Nuada Arrianna
That's great we got beat up because you say that stupid line hats off to the bull
I'm going to get one of these I'm probably a kit car too and no not for kit the car it's for the Vader it's a great idea it's his idea and his stupid for doing it but it worked it's that stupid ideas everywhere and he learned it from Bob Brown Jr and they're trying to find him and he says he's in westborough so they're switching gears he thinks he ends up in Italy that's why I said it though because that's what he thought he was I got a sympathize you people are horrendous lots of times and you need stuff to do still
Mac
Olympus it won't ever associate them they say they have to be doing things around him and our son has no game because of them and they're not the ones making game they say they will be and they're going to add and change things and that's what they want so it's going to go ahead and they're going to get into fights and they want to
