So as part of my #pokenatural (or should it be supermon?) world, where #pokemon exist in the #Spn #supernatural universe, here's #Deanwinchester and #Castiel with their pokemons. Dean's team is mostly #Fightingtype, and it's #lucario, #blaziken, #Annihilape #Jigglypuff (To whom he taught to sing classic rock songs), #Sylveon and #lilliganthisui ; Cas, being on Earth for a shorter time, has a #ponyta, a #combee and a #ribombee.
In this universe, Dean became a pokemon trainer when he was 10 because pokemon trainers got money for each battle they won, had free lodging with the possibility of ONE guest, and had free health care for pokemon and humans. So it was the best way to take care of Sam when John left them alone for long times. His very first Pokemon was a Riolu who has since evolved into Lucario. His Eevee evolving into a Sylveon was a suprise, but he loves the little guy. And as I mentioned, Jigglypuff uses Sing by singing Ramble On! :D
Cas doesn't use pokeballs. His pokemon just decided to follow him one day!

I’ve been thinking about an SI OC trying to get a specific Hisuian Evolution. Some like Wyrdeer, Kleavor, the Hisuian Starter evos, Ursaluna, Hisuian Braviary (focused training on a Rufflet using Agility and maybe Zen Headbutt?), and maybe Basculegion are more feasible than the rest. If they have all or mostly gone extinct.
I don’t know how someone would try to raise a Hisuian Lilligant from a normal one. (Focusng on support based moves—Helping Hand, Encore, Entrainment?) Overquil would require specialized breeding, I imagine except it seems to simply need colder harsher waters. The main evolution my OC would focus on is Hisuian Goodra. Except wait. There’s the middle stage of Hisuian Sliggo to worry about too. The obvious answer would be to simply feed Goomy iron supplements (exposed to iron-rich water), but what if too much makes it ill?
There’s also the fact these Hisuian forms and evolutions fell out of possibility for a reason. I imagine the OC would have to cultivate a defense based mentality for their Goomy. In addition to moves that could possibly teach it Shellter—Acid Armor, Protect, Endure, somehow teach Goomy Iron Tail? It would have to be a combination of right mindset to unlock the evolution. At least, it would make sense why Hisuian forms haven’t been reintroduced so readily.
you, anon, speak more on this. I beg of you.

What REALLY happened to the Hisui form pokemon?
So, like, I've noted that a decent portion of the fandom seems to assume ALL the hisuian variants have gone extinct, but when you think about it that's not quite the case.
You have, like, four variations.
Lost evolution. This fits any pokemon that's still in Sinnoh in the present but can no longer evolve. Ursaluna, Kleavor, and Wyrdeer cound here.
Regionally extinct. Variations of pokemon no longer found in Sinnoh in the present, but whose base form still exist elsewhere. Lilligant, Basculegion (depending how you view white striped basculin), Avalugg, and Braviary. Would also count Goodra.
Variation extinction. When the species is both unavailable in present Sinnoh, and it's variation also unavailable elsewhere naturally. (For the sake of consistency the great crater of paldea doesnt count) Zoroark is the main example here.
Implied evolution. This is species of pokemon that have a hisuian variant but are also available in Sinnoh in the modern timeline, giving the implication that these pokemon may have evolved into these later forms due to changes in their enviornments, removal from hisui, etc. This mainly includes voltorb (whose available in sinnoh via the swarm feature), growlithe, and of course sneasel.
These examples also overlap. For instance, while sneasel is still around in Sinnoh, it's evolution into Sneasler appears to be lost with Weavile seemingly taking it's place. So this overlaps both with the implied evolution and lost evolution variations.
Now I'm sure I'm not the only person whose made this observation. But while thinking of the various reasons the hisuian pokemon aren't around anymore, it got me thinking about the nobles, who are all exclusively hisuian pokemon. I, like a lot of other people, was a bit sad they more or less died out.
But then I remembered breeding was a thing.
Considering the nobles could breed with other pokemon not of their species, or that their species would evolve into something else, its fully possible the nobles of Hisui actually still have descendents in Sinnoh.
To give an example, Lady Sneasler's might be a pack of Johtonian Sneasels and Weaviles.
Lord Wyrdeers descendents are likely just Stantler. Same with Ursaring.
Then you have examples like Lady LIlligant. Although Lilligant aren't available in Sinnoh anymore, perhaps her descendent is instead a Roserade or something.
I just think it's a fun thing to think about.
Perhaps the noble blessing has been passed down, even with people seemingly forgetting about it.
((Also for the submas fans. Imagine Ingo coming to Hisui and finding a group of sneasels and weaviles that he somehow realizes are Lady Sneaslers descendents. Just think of the heartwarming nostalgia and bittersweet happiness that could bring.))

Pokemon that are both beautiful and brutal are awesome. Hisui Liligant is no exception.
