trap (2024) review: okay so holy shit josh hartnett is SO FIIIINE 🥵 even when he gets into a silly goofy mood it's still not that unsexy but aside from that wow what a movie

the first part is the "funnest" i'd say with the whole venue escape. saleka is EXCELLENT as lady raven and sings some actual bangers (seriously i was jammin to them in my seat and downloaded the album after) during the concert scenes, with her father/director m.knight shyamalan cameoing in one. the second half falls flatter in my opinion due to it being perhaps a bit too drawn out....

finally a possibly dumb theory based on the "end credit" scene with the shirt seller (jamie?). did he seem to be "putting on" his shock to y'all or am i crazy?? when cooper approached him i sensed he didnt seem totally comfortable around him...the vibes were a lil off. especially that creepy ahh smile cooper has 😬. and personally if i had my work badge suddenly go missing off of my person right after someone who i'd never met before was just asking numerous detailed questions about a serial killer i'd be a LIL sus.

regarding the drawn out aspect why the hell even tase him??? just fuckin shoot his ass!! they have full knowledge of his craftiness and as shown by the ending in the paddywagon it's gonna end badly...even during lady raven being on the phone in the bathroom he mentions getting a master key. why not just get it or break the door down if so desperate?? these things just baffle me!!

...could it be possible jamie tipped off the agents about cooper 🤔🤔🤔 the other unsubs didnt correlate until very very late but who had close contact with one??? hmm...

ANYWAYS i really enjoyed it! great acting, great music, and plenty of suspense to keep you guessing.

Moonjumper replaces Gaster. They used to be great friends with Badge Seller... until one fateful day. MJ was always looking for power, but on that day, they went too far: they smashed the giant Time Piece in Subcon Forest in an attempt to rewrite time to their advantage. As a safety measure after this, Badge Seller trapped them in the Horizon, a prison just outside of time and space, to prevent them from ever having a prominent grasp on the world ever again. MJ did, of course, manage to get out... sort of. They're just barely holding on to their existence. Glitchy as anything, their form phasing in and out of view, distorted speech... the works. MJ desires to finally get a proper foothold in this world once more, but needs Bow Kid’s help... help that they'll never get on the Pacifist and Neutral routes, as it requires Bow to do things that she'd normally never do.

That's right, folks. The Moonjumper tracks have FINALLY all been updated and will be properly ported over to the OST account!! Decided I didn't like the primary "hook dialogue" - for lack of a better word - that got established in the (now-renamed) BIG SHOT replacement, so I scoured YT and Tumblr for good potential Moonjumper memes to sample in its place. And what should I stumble across that works, but an old AHIT mod showcase video from Doodrun! The moment I heard the snippet I did, I knew immediately that it would work wonders, and with a double meaning to boot, given Moonjumper's origins in AHIT's development!! (Tho I did use mvsep.com to remove the background music for the purposes of splicing and mixing.) In addition to the obvious vocal changes, I finally modified and incorporated the proper main melody in here from the BIG SHOT, and also made some slight mixing alterations. Am very happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy! :) (Also just as a refresher, seeing as it’s been a while since I talked about ol’ string bean here: I styled them after Spamton cause I could. I axed the Betrayed Undyne ending from Time's End due it not making much sense with Empress, and I figured that since this AU will never have a Deltarune counterpart, adding a lil smth based from it as the BU ending replacement would be fun to mess around with. So uhhhhhh ye there's your answer lmao.)

No pain, no [[game]], am I right? ...If nothing else, it gives time for em to get some cryptically cynical thoughts off their chest. Having to leave your thoughts to fester while constantly being mere inches away from non-existence, and corrupted beyond comprehension, kinda does that to a guy lmaoooo. After the fight however, Moonjumper says a few more things that SEEM indicate the tiniest amount of hope, then just fades away without a trace, their grasp on existence being weakened just enough for it to slip completely... for a while at any rate. =)

That's right folks, I finally bothered to do a NYCTBA counterpart for the string bean! I was originally going to just not have one, since there wouldn't be a place for it to play, but then I realized... that's fucking dumb! So here we are; figured it was worth fleshing out a lil more to "complete the sentence," so to speak. ;) (Also I might do a Dialtone but idk for sure at this point so uhhhh S K I P) Anyhow ye, retooled and "backdated" the BIG SHOT's transcriptions to fit the NYCTBA format, changed the pitch and implemented the new vocals. Not much else to say here, hope you guys enjoy! (P.S. My hours and days off at work are going to be changing fairly soon, so my posting times/rates are going to get a LOT more irregular. Stuff for this AU isn't going anywhere, but I just wanted to prep y'all for that fact.)

🌟 thor and badge both love making gifts for the other two! Badge will make badges pertaining to an issue the others might have, or make them a drawing when feel like it. Thor likes making little toys and things for them, based on the interests. He once made Badge a lil musical box to hold their badges!

🌟 While Goofy ksnt really a creator, he LOVES doing stuff for them too! One of his favorite things is to make up a story about the aliens and how they interacted with them, maybe while Badge draws along and Thor is working on something else

🌟Thor is the most assertive of the three, and as the friendship progresses, the most protective. Will absolutely step in if someone is being a jerk to Goofy or not respecting Badge when they'r overstimulated.

yes, offline i wear a school pride hoodie over a b&w checkered fleece. on my hoodie i have 3 small pins; an ace flag, a simple they/them pin and a black cat they pin i got from etsy. i also wear a lil badge with a black cat wearing a little astronaut helmet, “I need my space” on my hood. attached to the badge is my big they/them pin. i wear these every time i go out in public. hell, i wore all of this throughout the school year and when i forgot my badge [at home], that day i’d be on edge / extremely anxious. (though none of my peers nor teachers really cared. except two teachers and a peer. my peer did attempt a good college try but after awhile he got frustrated and went back to using he/him. [i was/still am very patient with him and still keep in contact bc he was one of my school irls]).

my pins and badge w/ my big pin have become comfort items of mine. though, even the day i got my small they/them pin at a pride event; i was ironically misgendered. (the seller never apologized or really acknowledged it. the seller used he/him for me and at that pride, is also where i got my badge and my big they/them pin. i got my big pin later at a different vendor, but i believe i was wearing my nonbinary flag when i arrived at vendor A’s booth. i was very excited to own a nonbinary flag and instantly put it on and felt so euphoric(?) / overall amazing).

though it makes me feel sick to my stomach with guilt because i just know other transguys would LOVE to be in my shoes. live stealth as a cis dude. [implied supportive family, for the most part]. be relatively flat and just, have all these opportunities at my fingertips. all i need to do is talk to my hormones doctor and she’d schedule my top date. [it’d be a waste bc of how flat i am and i’ve grown comfortable with my chest because of jojo characters. also bc, well, it’s my chest. a nonbinary chest.] when in public, i heavily rely on people to look at my pins. i heavily rely on them to ignore the people around me using he/him and a name i don’t use anymore. “But why don’t you just politely correct them, Jotaro?” I have horrible social anxiety and politely correcting people would most likely cause unwanted conflict : ( not to mention, i’m not really that out offline. yeah, i have my huge nonbinary flag hanging up on my wall in my room and an enby flag sticker on my laptop but, i’m mainly still known to everyone as a guy. at my most recent school i was “out” but very few actually tried to use they/them. everyone called me [name I was going by at the time] but used he/him and saw me as a guy. it’s not that this is just some stunt for attention; no, i am nonbinary but offline it’s just not that safe for me to fully be Jojo right now. only posting this because i’m proud of this and i haven’t really drawn anything in a long while. (for those wondering; my name is Jotaro / Jojo and my pronouns are they/them. i’m nonbinary. i’m just a person. a teenager. i don’t scream at people to use they/them. i don’t say, “i’m triggered!!” or whatever when someone accidentally misgenders me in public / never in any context. i just try to live my life as teenage animator. i try to peacefully coexist with others).
