different.  I couldn't say conclusively which is better though.  I think they both offer pretty good pricing for domains but I think Namecheap wins in this area because they are a few dollars cheaper per year.  After all they began as a registrar so it stands to reason that this is their area of strength.   They also both offer reasonably priced web hosting, although for me I'd rather go with a smaller company because I've just often found that with the bigger hosts the customer service tends to be lacking a little.  The smaller companies just seem to go that extra step for their customers because they are usually being managed by the owners who actually care about losing our business.     Why Namecheap Wins For Their Good Customer Service
