Memorytale BROTHERS

Lilith and Aizza decide to follow the crying, moving past the branches, leaves, and brambles of the forest. The two then stumble across two more bird monsters, a canary and an horned owl. Lilith and Aizza exchange a glance, before Lilith appraoches them

Lilith: H-hey, are you two alright?

Canary: GO AWAY!

Owl: Wait, Poppy, they might be friends…and it's been awhile since we've seen another monster, let alone two…so we should be able to trust them!

Poppy, grumbling: you're only saying that because you can see their negative memories

Aizza, blinking: y'all have control over memories too? Sweet! I got life memories! Oh, and my name is Aizza!

Lilith: a-and I have death memories…my name's Lilith

Owl, blinking: Huh, another balance…well, I'm Odeyssus and this is my brother, Poppy. I control negative memories and he controls positive memories. What are you two doing here?

Aizza: we heard crying, so we came to invesitage! Also, we were running from some humans

Lilith, nodding: yeah…I'm not entirely sure where we are going, but I'm following the trail that has the least death memories

Odeyssus, blinking: huh, strange. We were doing the same, but with negative memories…where is the path?

Lilith points east, from where they came from and Aizza nods. Odyessus and Poppy look in that direction, before looking at each other

Poppy: that's…the trail we were following!

Aizza: great! Maybe we can be travel buddies!

Poppy, wary: I-I don't know….w-we were just chased out from our home due to humans, so how can we trust you?

Odyessus: my brother has a point. How can we trust you?

Aizza: well, we're younger than you-

Odyessus, sighing and nodding: yeah, fair enough…can't let you two be traveling by yourselves…

[Poppy and Odyessus has joined the party! Check channels for stats!]

The bird brothers stand up, and then Lilith and Odyessus lead the way, sorting out which path is safer to travel on due to the negative and death memories.

the bird quartet soon stumble upon a split in the path, one going to a pristine forest, and the other leading deeper into the forest. Poppy and Aizza immedeitly vote for the clean forest

Poppy: Let's go to the pristine forest! We can find help there!

Aizza: Yeah! No more staying in this dump!

Lilith: B-but we don't know what's done there! It'd be safer to keep traveling by the dark path…

Odyessus, narrowing eyes:…there is a lot of negative memories coming from there….any death or life?

Aizza blinks and looks in the direction as Poppy pouts, crossing their wings as Lilith looks in the left direction in anxiety

Aizza:…that's alotta death and life

Lilith, nodding: yeah…i-it's strange…there are humans and monsters there

Poppy: If there are monsters there, we can save them from the humans!

Odyessus: but we don't know if those humans are friendly or not! They could be like the mages and humans that chased us, and probably injured and killed Aizza and Lilith!

Aizza:…I didn't die, i was born like this-

Odyessus: my point still stands!

Poppy: oh? and what do you propose we do Mr. I-need-glasses?

Odyessus: we need a plan before we go in there!

The quartet then starts to argue about what to do. What will they do?

i feel like we dont talk enough about how distressing and disturbing memory loss issues are. forgetting what you were talking about halfway through a sentence, putting something down and instantly forgetting where you put it. having to reread one paragraph over and over again because by the time youve moved onto the next sentence you dont remember what the one before it said. always doubting if your memories of things are real, not being able to remember important life events.

its so incredibly scary, it feels like your mind is constantly playing tricks on you and you start to doubt whats real and what isnt.

“i forgot” is treated like a lazy excuse when it’s genuinely such a big issue for so many people.

I’ve already said it, I’ll say it again, Mal du Pays is such a visceral and clever word to describe Siffrin’s Sadness. When I first saw it in game it genuinely made me pause like. Yes, it translates to homesickness. But it has the literal word for country in it. “Country sickness”. For a guy whose core problem is that his childhood, his culture, his country is missing. One could argue it’s a twisted pun. I’m obsessed with it.

Hitting a lil' too close to home?

Tim whom is still banned from caffeine went into looking into other ways to get caffeine.

He went into anonymous source from someone name KingTuck4ever who talk about a energy drink that kept him up for weeks during a critical time of his life and Tim was at this point of desperate to spend any time of money he got.

Later that night, he received 6 very large Dark green boxes with a DP logo on it filled with Lightening Green tall soda cans with the name Ecto-Spark!, ingredients tags on the back, made with organic vegan products, DO NOT NEAR MEAT RELATED PRODUCTS, guaranteed to keep you caffeine deprived souls awake and alive enough to enjoy a night afterlife party! Or your money back.

Tim at the point didn't read the back as he pop open the top, smelling a strong scent of caffeine, carbonated bubble and a taste of lemon lime mixed with a tang flavor that had his mouth drowning nearly in drool.

He took only one experimental sip, before his eyes widen instantly and immediately began chugging the soda can for all the liquid caffeine it had inside. This was 1000 times better then Death Coffee Cup from his favorite Cafe that he was still banned from.

It felt like his whole body got electrified with energy and feel like he can run a whole 4 week marathon without breaking a sweat. This drink was like tasting nirvana after a week of being in a Gobi desert for his fucking soul.

Bruce can never know about this. He can't tell anyone about this drink. Not Damian, Not dick, not step, maybe Jason, but Cass can kept a secret since she knew body language. He might possibly go rogue and kill Bruce himself if Bruce tried to take this from him.

Meanwhile Tucker was amazed of the total amount of money he received from the anonymous Caffine obsessed ghost. Usually he ended up receiving old relics, Egyptian related artifacts, gold coins, etc but this is a first he got actually modern day money.

Poor dude must've been recently form a core to spend that much money. Good thing he had send extra since he know how crazy those caffine-obsessed ghosts can be over the new drink he made specifically for himself, Sam and Danny but it's nice to have extra cash for new tech making. Especially since Danny became high king of the ghost zone when he became 20 year old, and the amount of paper works that had been left for dust collecting could filled a planet to the very brim.

Took him, Sam, Danny, Ghost writer and Techno 5 months to fully turn at least 26% of sacrifical gifts from ritual, contracts, conquests, complains from territorial ghosts about humans taking their land/house/property/or about their murder, help hundreds of ghosts stuck in their personal hell of a limbo of their own death, guy name Constantine whom was rapidly becoming a pain in Tucker's ass especially when he got one contract form his former previous life about this guy.
