I'm struggling with the Laudes illustration I want to do so I'm just doodling them again because I love them.

Archconfraternity headcannons:

Lesmes:

-plus sized king before his decapitation

-spoils infanta a bit too much

-choleric, gets angry VERY easily

-yells a lot, especially at Odón

Orospina:

-Vain and posh, but will kill at the slight provocation

-"children should not be seen or heard."

-supports women's wrongs so that she can continue to do wrongs herself

-the hardest member to get along with

Benedicta:

-Autistic and will info dump on you is you give her the chance

-hates going outside of her basilica

-loves art and teaching

-the only one who can handle Orospina (they dated once and didn't go well)

Odón:

-Not a talkative person

-loves his henchmen

-Has his own galleon

-will throw you to the sea to test you

Eviterno:

-tired 24/7

-well respected and loves his confraternity members back

-will cry if shown an act of kindness

-Has a secret crush on the Penitent One but he won't admit it

Infanta:

-gremlin

-will be insufferable on purpose

-will ask Lesmes to beat you up

-don't underestimate her tho

Different games but Lesmes’ intro speech (the “I live” one) would fit so well with a revived/undead Godwyn and it’s totally not because they both wear blue waistcloths

So a breakdown

I live.

Godwyn never properly died

I live again in this merciless and cold metallic casing.

The death knights. This wasn’t the line that caught my attention I just wanted to apply something to it

I live, in this cage in the shape of what was long ago my body.

His body being twisted into. Y’know. The mermaid/inverted face thing

I live, and I feel that I am directed by forces that undermine mine own will.

Outer gods, death blight

I live, although when I close my eyes in the intimate darkness behind my eyelids, I am still dead.

Ok, godwyn’s eyes show up a LOT wherever there’s death blight so there’s that. And ofc the final line of again, he didn’t properly die but he’s not exactly alive anymore either. Also him constantly dreaming
