Why has the discourse become about who's oppressed enough to talk about oppression? Like when will y'all realize that all all privilege and oppression is contextual, and that all bigotry is born of the subjective observations of others. As such NO ONE is actually TME or TMA in an absolute sense. These things are circumstantial, trans misogyny/misandry/androphobia applied to you or not applied to you based on the actions of outside observers, who each see you in their own way. Some times a bigot will see you more as your perfected gender and some times they will see more as your agab. The hate you receive will come in all flavors as people are incorrect about us in all possible ways (the infinitude of human error need not be underestimated).
The facts remain the same however. Gender remains a social construct, as it is not comprised of matter, but widely believed in, and because gender is socially constructed you can make yours whatever you want. There are literally no right answers to the question "what's your gender?" because there are no real genders, we reinvent gender every time we adjust how we thing people with certain biological features should act.
However because gender is socially constructed, others can be prejudiced against us in any way they'd like. They can look at any sort of trans man or woman or otherwise gender unaligned individual and decide to use any misogynistic/misandrist/androphobic script they'd like in their harassment of you. Just as we are not physically constrained by the abstract concepts that are socially constructed gender roles, bigots are similarly unconstrained, they can hate you however. So because of this NO ONE is exempt from trans misogyny, as trans people we can all experience it, and if we are fortunate enough we may all find community where we no longer have to worry about trans misogyny and are thereby exempt from it.
There, I hope that helps.
“everyone talking about transmisogyny is a binary trans woman, as evidenced by the fact that I assume everyone talking about transmisogyny is a binary trans woman”

Lecturing My Daughter on Her First Fall Rain this then is fall rain. i spoke of it
in july, telling you rain has textures,
telling you july rain drives deep for dry roots, to fill them, drives in at warm angles, softly. i told you then fall rain is cold, rough as wrought iron, sometimes, bent as rusted nails. you were content, though, to wait, to learn this rain by touch, to measure your blue fingers against the still warm places between rain-drops on your surprised face. by Tom Montag

I want her to love me
I want her to comb my hair,
like she loves me
Even though it's rough, she take her time as though she combs through clouds.
I want her to love me
Communicate it to me, not at me, not through me but to me
I want her to see me for me, for the unique glass she carved into perfection.
I need her to understand me, to listen, not hear
I need her to laugh at my jokes because understands me
I need her to open her heart to me, love me like her ownself
I wanted her to wash my hair
I wanted her to care
I wanted her to love my my mind
I needed her to be kind
I needed her to nurture
I needed a perfect future.

I'm fighting pushing past the surface
Take me, how long must I stay
Dreaming of unattainable things
Weary of what joy brings
I forget to pray, I'm ashamed
I don't want to go but I do not object to what Your decisions may bring
Drowning, never living for the thrill
I need an umbrella, I'm soaked in sorrow
Should I run or should I follow
Rules were meant to be broken
Are we not all already prisoners of our minds
Sun-kissed skin, feline qualities
I've never swam, never floated
Drenched in the needs of them
I have not lived
Truly I should stay, but I need to live.

Little Dreams, Big Impact: The Joy of Learning and Sharing It
Daily writing promptWhen you were five, what did you want to be when you grew up? View all responses I still clearly remember what I wanted to be when I was five. Back then, my dreams weren’t of spaceships or becoming a superhero (though those were pretty cool too!). For me, the most exciting prospect was … teaching, lecturing, or speaking in front of a massive stadium. Photo by Pixabay on…

I tended to use a laptop, so hums or intent nods were sometimes replaced with what I'd almost call the "Fuck it, it's Story Time" upwards glance.
You'd sometimes catch lecturers or professors that had such a yen for turning lecture content into riveting stories that I'd just stop taking notes, close my laptop and just intently listen.
Good stories - and well-told stories - are remembered as effectively as any long-winded seminar designed for darkening A4 pads or covering a word processor's pages in steno.

here's something stupid: the catcatfish
Tumblr media Tumblr media
some quick facts:
they're nocturnal and tend to roam around while awake.
they have keen senses of smell and hearing, but terrible eyesight. despite this, they also have a tapetum lucidum, making their pupils "glow" in the dark.
their fur is short, dense, and oily to waterproof them.
they prefer a diet of mostly meat and are attracted to strong-smelling food like fish, cheese, and anything fermented.
the elongated dewclaw on each front paw is sharp, flexible, and nonretractable. it injects a venom that causes respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in prey and, in extreme doses, humans. veterenarians typically remove the dewclaw venom glands during the neuter/spay procedure.
they grow to an average of 1m and 23kg (3ft and 50lb) but can reach up to double that length and triple the weight!
