Hello! What are in your opinion the indicators of having guardian angel or divine protection in ones birth chart? Personally I heard about placements such like benefics in the 12th or 8th house or a chart ruled placed and aspected well in these houses but I'm really curious about your insight 😊
Hello🛡️🪽✨…
This question is 👌🏼♥️ I love exploring the deeper - more hidden aspects of astrology that others tend to neglect! Lego….
• Jupiter in the 1st house or transiting… can make one seem naturally lucky due to divine favor.
• Jupiter & Moon in 4th house… can indicate divine guidance from ancestors. This placement also reminds me of a grandmother in spirit strongly with the individual.
• Jupiter &/or Moon in the 9th or transiting… can indicate divine protection & strong connection to higher forces & spirit guides.
• Jupiter in the 12th or transiting… spiritual protection & angels coming through for you. Luck always coming out of no where. Kinda gives you imposter syndrome bc of all the luck that comes out of nowhere lol.
• Jupiter conjunct, trine or sextile Venus… indication of guardian angels blessing you. Natural luck is what it feels or seems like🪽✨
• Moon in the 12th house or even by transit… can give the person strong undeniable signs from spirit. Like getting slapped in the face with a bucket of feathers from spirit 🤣 . Totally undeniable & shit you just can’t make up! Also dreams from your guides & angels.
• Neptune in the 12th or transiting… guidance from ancestors/guides/spirit through dreams or pure intuition through spirit. [ Lorraine Warren has this placement conjunct her ASC ]
• Neptune conjunct ASC or MC… indicates a deep spiritual connection & spirit protection. [ Both Lorraine Warren & Theresa Caputo have Neptune conjunct ASC ]
• North Node in Pisces or 12th house… karmic connection to spirit guides &/or guardian angels. [ Edgar Cayce has his North Node in 8th house Pisces ]
• North Node conjunct Neptune, Jupiter &/or Moon… divine protection/support guiding you towards your purpose.
⚡️Honorable Mentions…
- Asteroids… Angel, Spirit &/or Guardian in 1st, 8th, 9th or 12th houses. OR conjunct personal planets… can indicate guidance/protection from guardian angels.
- Not everyone will agree with me on this one since it’s suppose to be considered hidden enemies… BUT Mars in the 12th for guardian/warrior spirits having your back especially if you work with the spiritual realms. Hidden/unseen protection. I do believe this would highly have to be considered with the aspects being made to Mars though.
I hope you found some of these helpful/insightful. I’m sure there could be many more added to the list! If anyone would like to add on to the list.. drop it in the comments! I love learning from others & collaborating 🤗.
Thank you so much for writing to me 🥰!

Ways to Please the Venus Signs 🔥All the Way to the Bedroom🔥
🛑 Disclaimer: 18+ only 🛑
Tumblr media
Aries Venus or Venus in the 1st House - Be bold. Be forward as hell, then pull back. Tease to the point of edging until they seize it. If they truly want you, they will. Impulse control is not in their vocabulary.
Taurus Venus or Venus in the 2nd House - Linger on your touches or kisses. Play the long game by texting them sensual messages/photos. Something for them to admire before they can actually ravish you.
Gemini Venus or Venus in the 3rd House - Switch it up! Geminis love variety, so if you can be both submissive and dominating they'll eat that sh*t up. Also be up for trying new positions and/or toys. Oh and phone sex, they love that!
Cancer Venus or Venus in the 4th House - Might love to be babied or will be more giving to you in the bedroom. Romance is key here, they want the grand gestures almost every time. Not a fan of a quickie. Foreplay, foreplay, foreplay.
Leo Venus or Venus in the 5th House - if you haven't made it to the bedroom yet, then your Leo hasn't felt special enough to gift themselves to you. Lay on the praise. Leos love gifts and I wouldn't be wrong in saying, if you gifted them lingerie then they may "gift" you with a sexy little fashion show!
Virgo Venus or Venus in the 6th House - shower sex might be their thing. Getting dirty while getting clean. Or your Virgo Venus partner may truly appreciate you getting an STD test before y'all are intimate. Turn them on with sexy playlists while you lead them to the bedroom. Let them know they're safe to lose all control with you.
Libra Venus or Venus in the 7th House - can be a giver vs. receiver in the bedroom, but don't let that fool you. It's in your best interest to cater to them in the bedroom, too, for fear of resentment later. They are the sign of harmony, after all. Massages as foreplay might win you big points here!
Scorpio Venus or Venus in the 8th House - Before the bedroom, they'll want to feel that the sexual undercurrent is already there, so make sure there's lots of lusty eye contact while flirting. Maybe a nice playful butt grab before the deed. But once it's ON, get ready for a marathon! Scorpio Venus stay hor*y even after 1 orgasm (read: 2, 3, 4...). 🥵
Sagittarius Venus or Venus in the 9th House - Oral 😋 it's giving, "what that mouth do though?" Or how about a makeout sesh in the car that leads to a quickie in the backseat? Yes, please! Whatever it is always be direct and honest with them about what you like and don't like in the bedroom. You'll both find more pleasure that way.
Capricorn Venus or Venus in the 10th House - Show your "traditional" dominant side. Lead her to a room with your hand on the small of her back 🤤 Brush the hair away from their face before you kiss them orrrrr *gently* push their back against a wall as you initiate a kiss or intimacy. Think sex "scenes" from a book. They want you to lead (most of the time, at least 😉)
Aquarius Venus or Venus in the 11th House - you're going to have to be different to grab their attention and actually stimulate them mentally to the point of turn on. Let them teach you the ways they like to be touched, kissed or 👅-ed 🫠
Pisces Venus or Venus in the 12th House - do not, I repeat do not coax a Pisces Venus into the bed with you unless you plan to cuff up this sweet angel. After sleeping together (hell, probably during it too) a Pisces Venus will already be manifesting and visualizing your futures together, married and old and gray. Do not hit it and quit it with these babies. They'll make sure karma repays you. But if you are lucky enough to be coupled up with one, you can turn them on by letting them know that you aren't ever leaving their side. Pisces and Scorpio love that "merging into 1" kinda love 💞

Lilith conjunct Ascendant/Lilith in the 1st house
Hi everyone! My name is Amber, I’m 22 & this is my first astrology post. I’ve been studying astrology for 7 years now and I’m excited to share my knowledge and experience with astrology with you. This is a long one, so get ready.
I have this placement myself in the sign of Pisces conjunct my Pisces Asc in the 1st house with my modern chart ruler Neptune heavily aspected. (I study sidereal astrology with whole sign houses) so writing it was pretty interesting. If you would like to know about my personal experience with this placement, let me know and I’ll create a separate post about it.
Disclaimer: Any other aspects to your Lilith as well as your ascendant & your chart ruler(s) will affect how this aspect will show up. It’s also important to know that the tighter the orb/degree, the more prominent it will be. If you get triggered easily, please take care of yourself and read another time. Trigger warning is put before sensitive subjects.
Alright, enough rambling. Let’s get into it!
——————————————
❥ Who is Lilith?
❧ She was Adam’s first wife, she was casted out of the Garden of Eden by God for defying Adam.
❧ She was shamed, ridiculed & rejected for her strong will, rebellion/defiance & liberal attitude towards sex, independence & wanted more than anything to be treated as an equal to Adam.
❧ After being casted out of Heaven, she went on to have an affair with Satan and was crowned the Queen of Hell.
❥ What does Black Moon Lilith represent?
❧ BML is not a celestial body or an object, it is a mathematical point but its energy is still very much prominent.
❧ It represents either/or the fascination/obsession, denial/rejection of whatever topics that are associated with the sign and house it is in.
❥ What is the ascendant?
❧ The ascendant sign, also known as the rising sign is the critical, angular point of the 1st house.
❧ This represents your physical body, appearance, 1st impression, innate nature & mannerisms.
❧ In the Placidus house system, it is the beginning of the 1st house. In the Whole Sign house system it can vary in degree and very rarely land in the 12th or 2nd house.
❧ The ascendant sets up the rest of your chart. If you have BML in the 1st house without the conjunction to the Asc, this energy will still manifest. It just won’t be as prominent.
❥ What is a conjunction?
❧ A conjunction is an aspect. Aspects are used to show the relationship and dynamic between planets/objects in a chart.
❧ Conjunctions are when two or more planets/celestial bodies/angles are right next to each other in the birth chart, blending and empowering the energies associated with them together.
❧ Angles are the Ascendant (ASC), Descendant (DSC), Imum Coeli (IC) & Midheaven (MC).
❥ I like to think BML as a mix between the outer planets: Neptune, Uranus & Pluto. Especially, Pluto.
❥ When someone has BML conjunct the Asc/in the 1st house this gives the native a mysterious, captivating, alluring, darker aura & presence.
❥ If the BML is conjunct the Asc in the 12th house (usually the case in the Placidus house system) the energy will be there as well but it will be deeper in the subconscious and may be harder to harness this energy in a productive way.
❥ The 12th house is the house of confinement, suppression, hidden enemies, the subconscious & self undoing (addictions for example).
❥ However, the 12th house also rules dreams, spirituality & the unseen realms as it is is ruled by Neptune and naturally is governed by Pisces. Therefore this may manifest similarly to Pisces Asc in certain ways.
❦ Physical Appearance ❦
❥ BML hardens energy & adds a darker, more intense energy. Especially when it comes to the softer ascendant signs such as Taurus, Libra, Cancer, Virgo & Pisces as a few examples.
❥ Some astrologers say that BML does not affect physical appearance but in my experience, I have noticed a few common denominators which are listed below:
❥ Those with this placement usually have a darker appearance, even those with a lighter complexion/light colored eyes. The eyes may be darker in appearance due to the energy that BML exudes.
❥ May give a little bit of Neptunian energy if it’s conjunct in the 12th house (dreamy, ethereal. think siren energy).
❥ They may have darker colored hair & sometimes thicker hair (not always ofc, genetics matter).
❥ Regardless, they may have a darker aesthetic, wear black or darker colored clothes.
❥ If not the case, they are just attracted to styles & aesthetics that bring a sense of empowerment, liberation & control. Whether that’s dressing unconventionally, modestly or revealing. It can go either way.
❥ They may decide to dye their hair a darker color if their natural hair color is lighter. Also, those with the placement may even decide to dye their an unnatural color.
⚠️‼️TW: Mentions of sexual trauma/SA, depression, self-harm, ED’s. Please, take of yourself.‼️⚠️
———————————————————
❦ Personality & Struggles ❦
❥ If you have this placement you may have struggled with bullying, rejection, being overly sexualized or ridiculed and projected onto by others. People may view you as bitchy, arrogant & ruthless.
❥ You also naturally exude sex appeal regardless if you are trying to present yourself as such. This is especially tough if you have trauma surrounding sex & sexuality.
❥ This placement at its worst manifestation is in line with SA, coercion and manipulation by others or even towards others. Although, the native is usually on the receiving end of this.
❥ May also struggle with su!c!dal thoughts/ideation, addictions among other forms of self destruction.
❥ They also struggle with asserting themselves and setting boundaries due to fear of rejection, ridicule & hostility. People project a lot of their fears and anger onto to them.
❥ They also have a tendency to attract possessive, obsessive and controlling friends & partners that want to put them in a box.
❥ The more these people try to tame & control them, the more the people with this placement will want/feel the need to rebel.
❥ May have problems with women/feminine figures in their life.
❧ If they are a woman/feminine, other women/feminines may be envious/jealous of them and their captivating energy.
❧ Regardless of their sexual orientation they will most likely struggle with men/masculine figures over-sexualizing them, degrading them, disrespecting them, overstepping their boundaries & projecting their fantasies onto them.
❥ Especially if they have a Venus or Neptune ruled ascendant or if Venus and/or Neptune is prominent in their chart.
❥ Examples:
❧ Taurus/Libra Asc (Venus). Pisces Asc (modern ruler is Neptune, traditional ruler is Jupiter).
❧ Heavily aspected, on an angle (Asc, Dsc, IC, MC) or in an angular house (1st, 4th, 7th or 10th house). Especially Neptune as Neptune is the higher octave of Venus and it rules dreams & fantasies.
❧ Also, Mars & Pluto prominence: Scorpio Asc, Mars (traditional ruler) & Pluto heavily aspected, on an angle/in an angular house for control, manipulation, hostility and/or violence.
❥ These energies also apply to men/masculines as well but it may manifest a bit differently as stated below:
❧ If they are a straight man/masculine they may struggle with expectations and demands towards women. Especially in a partner.
❧ They may even have the tendency to be misogynistic. Alternatively, they may seek out feminine partners that defy traditional roles in relationships as they respect and admire that.
❥ Daddy issues are usually a thing with this placement, both in feminines and masculines. They struggle with expressing their feminine energy.
❥ As the ascendant/1st house deals with the physical body, they may have struggles with self image issues such as an eating disorder/ or general insecurities surrounding their appearance and body. Sometimes, this can manifest as physical health issues/disorders as well.
❥ Alternatively, the most positive manifestation of this placement is being obsessed with themselves and their appearance, in a positive way. Although, that too can turn toxic.
❥ Being a leader and paving the way for liberation & justice especially when it comes to femininity and sexuality.
❥ Not only that, they pave the way for others to express their authenticity and challenging social norms and what is deemed acceptable by society.
❥ In general, the native may become obsessed with cultivating a persona that they deem powerful & influential even though it may not fully align with who they actually are and what they want.
❥ They may even become obsessed with negative attention just as much as positive attention.
❥ “Haters make me famous.” “All press is good press.” & “The end justifies the means.” are mottos they may live by or at least inspires them.
———————————————————
❦ If you have this placement, a great way to harness this energy is following your authenticity. Standing up for yourself and what you believe in.
❦ Forms of self expression such as fashion, music, drawing or other forms of artistic expression will help to release any negative emotions and struggles you may be dealing with.
❦ Acceptance of one’s authenticity & facing your fears and inner demons is essential. The more you try to suppress who you really are, the more Lilith will challenge you.
❦ Don’t be afraid to seek therapy or talk to a loved one if that’s an option for you.
Hope you guys enjoyed this post. Let me know if it resonated and leave me suggestions for more posts!

The MOON 🌙 might have a lot more to do with physical touch compatibility than people generally think! It truly affects us on a physical level, just outside of astrology. It also concerns what’s familiar to us and what will make us comfortable.
When I say “physical touch” compatibility, it’s maybe not so much the sexual energy of Venus and Mars together. Mars brings the sex drive and physical action, and Venus is concerned with pleasure and desire (but she probably has a lot to do with our style of touch, and our relationship with touch, outside of sex, too).
The Moon, on the other hand, I speculate is connected to the kind of physical (and mental/emotional) comfort that makes cuddling feel natural, right, and intuitive with someone. This physical compatibility and comfort with touch, not to mention being more intuitively in sync, might lead to a better sex life too though.
I’ve said for a while that Taurus and I know how to touch each other. We might not do it in really the same ways, but it resonates! You could say that Taurus does feel actually like a complementary opposite to my Scorpio (MOON!)… largely in a physical way! It’s made for good cuddling and sex with the Taurus Suns and ascendants I’ve been with.
Interestingly, the sign I have maybe had the most experiences of feeling discomfort or incompatibility when touching is Libra. My Black Moon Lilith is in Libra, and BML is a disconnection from the Moon! The farthest point from earth of the Moon’s orbit!
And there are some examples of people I had conjunctions or harmonious Moon synastry with in various ways, that I felt comfortable and good touching, but was not very turned on sexually by, if at all.
These are just my observations and speculations. Hope it resonates! 🙏

Natal Saturn Retrograde - Personal Observation
I'm currently reading Uranus: Freedom from the Known by Jeffrey Wolf Green! I'm on page 4 and I already have thoughts lol
Some things he said about having Saturn retrograde in the chart
A retrograde archetype is simply the need to withdraw, to retreat, to rebel from the status quo expectation of how that planetary behavior is meant to manifest from a societal point of view. This necessary rejection of the status quo via the retrograde principle accelerates the natural evolutionary pace. Because when you are withdrawing from the status quo you are arriving at your own unique and individual expression, essential individuality, of whatever planet or function is retrograde.
This is interesting bc I have Mercury, Saturn, Neptune and Uranus retrograde in my chart loll I do spend like 80% of my time thinking about my own behavior and other people's behavior and societal reasons for them. Definitely more than the people around me so I can see how that would accelerate evolution. I'm big on learning from other's mistakes lmao I also don't believe a lot of the same things as the people around me which can make me more withdrawn at times bc I know I'm the odd one in the room lol
Could we deduce that the Saturn retrograde person is going to be intrinsically oriented to rejecting, rebelling, withdrawing from, and questioning such social imprinting? The individual would come to define her or his own natural authority (Saturn), customs, regulations, norms, taboos, and ways of integrating into the culture that he or she is born into. When Saturn is retrograde the door is open and pointing to Uranus.
I wrote before how with Saturn 1H I basically raised myself when it came to my values and principles lol guess saturn retrograde played a part in that too! Idk when exactly it was to know what transit I was going through but within like the 2019-2021 time period I had a meltdown about my non existent kids feeling left out culturally bc I don't intend on abusing them omggg and like a lot of the Haitian comedy shit is about how the parents treat their kids so badly! I got over it lol bc obviously there are many other cultural aspects that are unrelated to that but it's funny how that was such a distressing thing for me! I'm also the odd one out of my catholic/christian family bc i'm pretty anti religion lol
The very nature of the individual's consciousness is intrinsically different.
All of this is screaming you're a weirdo to me lmfao but trueeee I always find myself in positions where I say something to people around me and they're like huh...never thought about it like that before
There is more of a sense of distance or detachment from the immediacy of one's family and culture, a sense that there is more to reality (Saturn) than is being focused upon by the family or culture.
I'm def the estranged family member lol the only person in my family that I talk to regularly is my aunt and she also lives in my building so! I come from a family that was very idek like the types to act like everyone gets along and are all happy together and having parties and dinners but then I realized that not only do they not know a lot about each other, they don't even like each other! Right now my aunt is trying to force this family dinner of just her and I with her brother that she talks to only when she reaches out (he doesn't ever remember her birthday after 62yrs) and my godmother's brother bc he just got divorced lol her thing is all "we don't act like a family!" and I'm like girl if I wasn't related with these people I wouldn't even be acquaintances with them lmao
Commonly, the Saturn retrograde is going to have a problem with one or both parents. In certain family situations this can be a problem and can create emotional distance from the offspring to such a parent. And, from an evolutionary point of view, necessarily so.
Yeah I don't talk to either of my parents lol no contact with my mother bc she's a narc and I just don't have a relationship with my father like he wasn't really around when I was younger but then I "met" him around 14ish and things were okayish but it wasn't real bc it was just my mother forcing things bc she wanted access to him again lol now he's just a follower on IG who likes my stories sometimes and we don't talk lmfao but I do see how stifled I was before getting away from my mother. There's a lot of mental blocks I had put in place just to deal with her and now I don't have them and it's sad bc now I see the same pattens between some of my other friends and their mothers but they're still in the "that's just how my mom is but we have a great relationship as long as i'm not [insert long list of conditions]" and I'm just like yikes!
-------------------------------------------------------------------
I'm also currently in my saturn return along with most of my friends and only one other friend has saturn retrograde and I feel like we're the only two on our saturn return journey who are idek on a straight course? Like we hit an obstacle we work through it and move forward with the lesson but it seems like the others are stuck on a hamster wheel like they have to get the same obstacle over and over and they still aren't getting it and when I talk to them they sound like they're about to take a step forward like yeah they can't live like this anymore they're gonna do this instead but then nothing happens nothing changes and we're back to the same issue omg idk if that's a thing or if it's just an observation of my friends and I lol
Bc of how mercury rx happens I had this idea that saturn rx would work the same way as in slowing me down and keeping me stuck in cycles longer than others but reading about how saturn rx acts more like uranus it does make more sense for me lol a lot of my growth starts by surprise and it triggers like a very quick spiral where I start connecting all the dots and then I'm like whoa....like when I first realized my mom was a narc I wasn't even looking for it lol I was looking for ways to implement better boundaries to help our relationship lmfaooo then i was basically spiraling for 6months every time she did something I was like omg that's literally a tactic and then I went no contact by literally blurting it out over the phone bc I got frustrated lol I shocked myself!
Wild stuff!

Planetary Significations |||
Heya folks! For this series we'll be diving into each planet and simplifying to one word.
From there, we'll expand and explore all the different expressions of the planet according to the keyword. I'll provide a list of other significations as well.
VENUS - Beauty
Tumblr media
Significations:
Beauty
Values/Self-Esteem
Money
Devotion
Relationships
Art/Creativity
Pleasure
Personal Attraction
Sexuality
Magnetism
Aesthetics
Love, Love Language
Now let's explore how beauty connects to all of these significations.
First, we beg the question. What is beauty? Well, beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Therein implies the value aspect of Venus and how our experience of beauty is subjective**. We determine something’s value by measuring how much it pleases us.
Which connects to the pleasure aspect of Venus. Beauty is pleasing. It makes us feel good. So Venus represents what pleases us.
What we deem beautiful usually has an aesthetic value. So Venus is about aesthetics; how information is arranged in ways that please the eye. We see how Venus can connect to our personal style or how we clothe ourselves.
We also consider art beautiful, material things are beautiful, so Venus can concerns the realms of beauty in relation to creativity and art.
What we deem beautiful, we spend our money on. We devote our resources to it. There’s the financial aspect of Venus.
This theme of value can stretch in many different ways then. What is beautiful has value, so are we beautiful? Do we see our own value? Most importantly, how do we cultivate sustainable "beauty"? It's through our self-esteem and our values. These cultivate our intrinsic worth. One of the most important lessons of Venus is this.
Moving on, what we deem beautiful, we also tend to devote ourselves to and worship. Think of men raptured by the divine feminine or how our society treats beautiful people! The question Venus asks is how do we serve and please that which we find beautiful? What we find beautiful we often develop an attraction towards or love for. Another theme emerges there: how do we love? How do we show our love and our devotion? Here is the relationship/love language aspect of Venus.
Beauty also implies attraction. So Venus is about what and who we are attracted to, who we are attracted to, and who/what we attract towards us!
If we stop at the superficial aspects of Venus, we lose the lessons, of which I believe there are mainly two.
Pleasure is a pathway into the body, and the body is the soul. Sex, food, art, wine, all of these pleasurable items is a means of connection. This is not a sign to over-indulge or resist temptation but to be conscious. Our sense of material pleasure/satisfaction is what can ground us and connect us to others! Just do not abuse it!
Interrogate the true meaning of beauty. As a natal Venus rx, this has been a life theme for me. It sits on my 12th House, a place I believe strips native planets of their superficial qualities to reveal the gems underneath. This has been what I've gleaned from my experiences. Beauty is both the superficial and the intrinsic. It's the fancy cars and those integral values. They mirror each other. Build that inner worth and your outer reality will begin to reflect beauty and wealth back to you. Beauty allows us to love intentionally which then connects us to the world in an even deeper way. We are all love.
That's all folks! This is how I simplify astrology so that it is easier for me to understand. If you made it all the way here, I thank you for reading! Until the next one.

Pluto in first house - some observations about this interesting placement
What planets are responsible for dark academia vibes? Generally I've found pluto is a major player which is why I do quite a lot of pluto related posts on here. The other main ones are saturn, mars (oddly enough, but academia can be cutthroat), and uranus. Neptune can be to an extent but not as much and mostly points towards humanities and liberal arts.
I noticed that at least two people ( @augustinerose @auroraplume) who commented on one of my previous posts had pluto in the first house. Thanks to you both for the support and hope you don't mind me shouting you out here!Pluto is a scorpionic planet, but the first house is one of the less scorpionic houses. I personally have pluto in the fourth house which is interesting too as the fourth house is one you would think stereotypically is not very plutonic or scorpionic in any way. Like the first house it can indicate interesting hidden stuff that you might not expect.
So in honour of spotting these weird patterns and interesting aspects I've done another little pluto breakdown here:
Generally any time pluto or any other 'occult' outer planet is in a house that you wouldn't expect it to go with, expect interesting patterns to be revealed. For example:
Pluto in first house: can indicate something cryptic, occult, or hidden to do with image and identity
At it's most literal level it can indicate a job or social role related to the occult. For example someone who is a spy, criminologist, works in government, tarot reader, astrologer, works in data, or so on. Anything that involves dealing with large volumes of info where there may be hidden stuff. Yet can also indicate the job itself is hidden such as someone who has a day job and moonlights as something else, or someone who is hiding their line of work because their peers or family don't approve (such as someone who wants to become a musician, poet, actor or suchlike but faces social pressure)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
If not your job it can also point to core aspects that may be hidden or occult. This CAN be a placement of clairsentience, paranormal, and psychic happenings but doesn't have to be. It can also indicate parapsychology or a family history of haunted places, secrets, or so on. It can ALSO indicate the closet. This can be the closet to do with gender or sexuality but also to do with other core aspects of ourselves such as potentially masking neurodivergencies or even simply hiding events or occurances that have had a formative impact on us.
Tumblr media
At a more metaphorical level here are some random things this placement can point to:
• unpublished work
• secret diaries
• drastic curveballs in life (e.g. discovery of long lost relatives)
• 'social chameleon' personality
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
How does Pluto compare with other first house placements?
• tends to be deeper, more sinister, and more visceral than uranus and neptune in the first house. There is a genuine occult and slightly dangerous element to pluto in first house vs uranus, which can indicate lots of changes in life but ones that are within our control, pluto can indicate changes and wildcard events that are outside our control
• can be very go getting, socially shrewd, and a 'dark horse' but in a much less obvious way than mars. Mars in the first house can be assertive and successful but this tends to happen in a public or leadership role. if mars is the emperor, pluto in the first house is the power behind the throne. combine the two in the first house and you can end up with a personality that is revolutionary and controversial in leadership positions. this doesn't have to indicate world changing stuff it just could indicate a smart but controversial musician or leader of a band or director of a film - a head of department who makes polarising decisions for their subordinates etc - either way, these are people to look out for and keep on your side.
Tumblr media
• pluto vs venus - venus will have an obvious aesthetic that they demonstrate physically. pluto in first house may not or may have very different aspects of their identity, for example living a normal life and then travelling abroad on a shoestring but without telling anyone. you may enter the home of someone with pluto in the first house and be surprised at what you find, such as a strange collection, or huge investment like an eccentric hobby, but not as much visible luxury as venus
• mercury in the first house may find thenselves in a role with lots of data or communications but has less access to the hidden side of affairs. for example - mercury will find themselves as the presenter of a tv show, youtube channel, or podcast. pluto will be on the editing team and responsible for a sustained social media campaign to push the channel. lots of access to people's data.
• pluto and saturn in first house can have similar tastes depending on their environment. in universities, college, and so on they may both be heavily involved with faculty and alma mater history but for very different reasons. saturn will preserve the traditions for traditions sake. pluto will investigate the history of a secret society, controversial book or paper, or unusual theory. may both like old varnished wooden furnishings and dark heavy fabrics, but for pluto it's much more of an aesthetic. Pluto could be an indiana Jones extra. Saturn is more likely to be a member of Hogwarts faculty.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Tumblr media
Another random pluto fact:
Pluto in the first house makes for one of the most intriguing and unpredictable charts. It is honestly very hard to tell much about the lives these people may lead from their chart, even when other placements are accounted for.
You may have to look at multiple different placements as well as the aspects and other interactions of the chart. Even then there can be many layers as to how events play out. Events like the solar, saturn, and lunar return are very important to make sense of these charts. It can help to do a tarot reading to clarify.
• chalcedony (pictured) can be a good crystal for these people or any pluto related energy
For more of this vibe please check out my post on dream symbolism here! I'm planning on doing a lot more astrology and dream symbolism posts, which should be pretty fun :P
I'm also doing a free reading giveaway on my etsy (or basically free - please click the 50p option as unfortunately I couldn't set it at £0) at the moment just as I'm looking for feedback and interested in interacting with more people, especially at the intersection of astro and mbti 🦋
Tropical vs Sidereal astrology
EDIT: UPON REFLECTION I'VE REALISED THAT I NEED TO BE MORE CLEAR WITH WHAT IM COMPARING HERE - IT IS NOT ABOUT VEDIC ASTROLOGY AS A WHOLE BUT THE SIDEREAL SYSTEM (WHICH IS ALMOST ENTIRELY SOLELY USED BY VEDIC ASTROLOGERS ONLY).
In my first post, I spoke a bit on how astrology works scientifically, and therefore why I use the tropical system. This post will go a little further into why, but I will re-paste the relevant parts from my first part here.
First, however, I would like to make it clear that when I am referring to Vedic astrology, I am referring to the common understanding of vedic astrology today which is the system which uses sidereal positioning. But Vedic astrology DOES NOT necessarily equal Sidereal. There are Vedic astrologers (though few, and will be expanded upon later) which use the tropical system. I am, however, using this post to explain why I do not use the Sidereal system. I am simply not proficient enough to talk about Vedic techniques and principles as understood removed from its popular Sidereal understanding. So to reiterate, this is not a post against Vedic techniques or Vedas and such, but why I do not follow how it is commonly perceived and practised today.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Sidereal vs Tropical rundown
✎ Sidereal astrology accounts for the precession of the equinoxes, i.e. it relies on where the actual constellations have moved to from our perspective on earth. If you use a sky map app and point it to the sky it will tell you the exact constellation above, that is sidereal positioning.
✎ Tropical astrology does not do this, it uses the divison of the ecliptic exactly how it was thousands of years ago of where the sun was at the vernal equinox - Aries. It is thus based on the seasons.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The science behind astrology - why constellations do not matter (excerpt form my main post):
: ̗̀➛ Astrology has NOTHING to do with the physical constellations. Astrology is based on the signs on the ecliptic (the path of the sun amongst the constellations, which is the plane of the earth's orbit).
: ̗̀➛ The equator has 15 constellations, and the ecliptic has 13. So why do we have 12 zodiac signs? This is because babylonians divided the ecliptic into 12 equal segments of 30 degrees each thousands of years ago. The ecliptic was divided into SIGNS. 12 constellations were just used to identify where in the sky each sign would be, at the time for ease of astronomical mapping/calculation - it is merely symbolic. This is why Opphiuchus is not the 13th Zodiac SIGN, although it is a constellation.
: ̗̀➛ Another reason why they are not based off the physical constellations is because the actual size of the constellations vary massively in size. Below is a representation of this:
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ As you can see, Virgo, for instance is huge, and on a literal view overlaps into the next segment because the constellations do not all equally fit a 30 degree division. Yet, we do not give scorpio like 5 days for its season, because the physical constellation does not dictate anything meaningful.
This gives us the tropical zodiac, which is to do with the earth's seasons:
Tumblr media
: ̗̀➛ The solstices are therefore reference points for Capricorn and Cancer (tropic of capricorn and tropic of cancer), not the constellations themselves. Accordingly, the spring equinox is marked by Aries (with the sun entering the segment of Aries at 0 degrees until 29), and the autumn equinox by Libra. Even though in the Southern Hemisphere, the sun entering Aries is an autumnal equinox, ithe fact remains it is still about the seasons (i.e. what the sun does, maintaining its universal application).
: ̗̀➛ The precession of the equinoxes, are therefore irrelevant to astrology (and this is why vedic/sidereal is, in my opinion inaccurate). The slow change of the direction of the earth's axial tilt, over around 26000 years, cause a precession of the equinoxes. This means, the segment of the sky that used to be identified by the Aries constellation from the earth's position at the time, is now looking at Pisces. But as we know, astrology has nothing to do with the physical location of the constellations. Vedic astrologers use sidereal positioning, aka taking into account the precession of the equinoxes, yet they still divide the ecliptic in the same way. This causes problems, leading to many branches in vedic because few agree on where aries actually even starts.
The problems with Sidereal positioning - its all about the sun!
✣ As described in my first post ( i'd really recommend u read it ngl lol), astrology is symbolic, and its entire foundation is based off the sun. It is the sun which gives us life -> therefore it represents our vitality, creativity, identity etc (as opposed to the rising sign which is our personality, who we are, etc and filtered through our chart ruler). Everything comes back down to this SOLAR-based system -> equinox to equinox. Nothing to do with the constellations.
✣ Moreover, the signs are grouped into the 3 modalities, which all represent the suns status (symbolic significations are interpretated separately depending on the sign but generally the groups represents what the sun is doing). The sign which it currently objectively is passing through bears no significance. E.g:
-> Aries, Libra, Cancer, Capricon = Cardinal = sun is crossing the equator when crossing Aries or Libra. When crossing cancer the sun is moving from setting north to south, and vice versa when going through Capricorn. Moving forward, fresh change. -> Taurus, Scorpio, Leo, Aquarius = Fixed = sun is in the middle of the season it is in, it is 'fixed' and maintaining. -> Gemini, Sagittarius, Virgo, Pisces = Mutable = sun is transforming by going through the end of its season, undoing and release before the next season starts with the cardinal signs.
✣ Because the position of the constellation depends on where on earth you view it from, there is no obejctive consensus on where Aries even starts. This had led to varying branches of sidereal astrology such as Lahiri, Raman, Krishnamurti Paddhati, and some western takes on Sidereal positioning like Fagan-Bradley. These branches are symptomatic of being overly pedantic by concentrating on the constellations themselves.
✣ Finally, Vic Di Cara is a famous and rare example of a modern day Vedic astrologer who uses the tropical system. Seems blasphemous, but he delves into some irrefutable points on ancient India's use of the tropical system which I will paste below but I really encourage you to read it. Tldr it is still about the sun (surprise suprise):
"The foundational texts of Indian Astrology unanimously and explicitly define the zodiac based on solstices and equinoxes (i.e. tropical). On the other hand, they also unanimously define the nakshatra based on stars (i.e. sidereal). The current difference between the two - the solstices (ayana) and their marker stars - is described as "ayanamsha." Problem: For many centuries Indian astrologers have applied ayanāṁśa to both the nakshatra and the zodiac - fuseing the two and divorcing the zodiac from its tropical anchors. Solution: Reform... which requires patience, clarity, contemplation and humility from all parties."
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
CRUCIALLY:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
I hope this cleared up any confusions on sidereal vs tropical astrology, and has helped informed your decision on choosing which system to use! I will advise, though, not to mix the systems. This is a common belief for good reason; you would not mix two different languages in a sentence.
The Intoxicating Feelings in Synastry - Part 1
Tumblr media
Mars in harsh aspects to Pluto
This can be the most volatile synastry placement (especially the opposition), yet in my experience, it easily masks itself *in the beginning*.
Pluto is the ultimate deceiver. Pluto is the "i know how to get you right where I want you" type of energy.
When I had Mars opposite Pluto synastry with someone (double whammy - his pluto opposite my mars and my pluto opposite his mars), he initially came off very protective of me. We could read each other so easily. At first, it gave a very "you & me against the world" type of energy.
Mars Pluto opposition gave off alot of sexual tension as well as alot of "eye f*cking". Very intense dialog, always. Dialog around the others looks, dialog around previous relationship trauma, childhood trauma, self limiting beliefs etc.
It was intoxicating to me bc I am an 8th house sun & mercury so going deep and expressing raw emotion makes me feel closer to a romantic interest.
However, the largest downfall of the Mars Pluto opposition was how both of our childhoods included themes of domestic violence. Once i found that out, I knew this connection was potentially dangerous. My Mars would've aggravated his Pluto. His Mars was *already* aggravating my Pluto. We would trigger each other to the point of such frustration, that finally I just had to walk away. Knowing my peace & safety was more important than lust. (It wasn't just this aspect that made me know our pattern together could've been dangerous, but it was looking at the synastry chart and reading it as a whole)
Just remember, Pluto is the great deceiver and Mars loves to start shit. Even if it's just to assert dominance. Harsh aspects with Mars and Pluto seem to work out better if you both have the same harsh aspect in your natal charts as well (ex. Mars opposite Pluto in synastry *and* each of your natal charts)
What is your experience with this aspect?
Capricorn rising in depth
You were encouraged or you had to be more mature, responsible, equipped to finish tasks at a young age. Maybe you were the oldest or you just acted older than your siblings, you were easier to get along with and responsibility was placed on you because you were trusted to handle tasks and get it done. You probably liked working and making money early in life, you liked being seen as responsible and trustworthy. Also, Something traumatic could have happened early on too, to where you had no choice but to work and take care of yourself. Childhood could have been confusing, your siblings, cousins, aunts and or uncles could have had mental disorders or they were mentally distant, they can gaslight you. They could also be very religious/spiritual/cult like.
Your home may have been chaotic. There could have been a lot of arguments or loud conversations. You may have gotten really good at tuning chaos out. Your mom could have/is driven, assertive and busy. She could work from the home, she could be an athlete or work with athletes. There could also be abuse, manipulation and vulgar language in the house. The people you attract can be emotionally unstable, emotionally driven, shy, reserved, protective, family oriented, women. You may enjoy nurturing others and of course would also like to be nurtured and taken care of but you may or may not find that in others right away. Your relationships can be very up and down and emotionally tiring. They can also be loyal, homely, nurturing and protective. Look to where your moon is and it will give you more information on the energy of the relationships you create/attract subconsciously.
Your family may hold secrets and they may make you hold their secrets as well. Things that go on in the home you may not be able to speak about. You could have a reputation of being agreeable, needy, people pleasing, gullible, charming, smooth talker, having a heart of gold. Later in life you may become a great speaker, therapist, teacher, sales person, wedding coordinator.
Creating loving, equal, communicative, harmonious relationships is the goal.
(Keep in mind this is for Capricorn risings who have MC libra)
Their warmth and stability are grounding, reminding you of the beauty in consistency and the art of savoring the present.
♊ Gemini
The Storyteller: An expressive, lively person with quick eyes and hands that gesture as they speak.
Gemini meets you at a bustling café, their words flowing like a river as they skip from one topic to the next. “Did you hear about that new idea? Oh, and this book I read…!” they say, barely pausing for breath. Their mind is a whirlwind, and they engage you with endless curiosity, peppering you with questions, genuinely eager to know your thoughts. They seem excited by everything but also a little scattered, easily distracted by the next interesting topic or person that walks by. “It’s all so fascinating!” they exclaim, embodying pure intellect and adaptability. Gemini’s liveliness leaves you inspired, craving more conversations, and viewing life as a playground of ideas.
♋ Cancer
The Nurturer: A gentle, sensitive person with soft eyes and a warm, protective aura.
Cancer invites you into a dimly lit room, decorated with family photos and mementos. They offer you a blanket and speak in a soft, caring voice, “How are you feeling? Really feeling?” Their empathy is profound; they seem to understand you before you’ve even spoken. Cancer shares stories of their loved ones and speaks about the importance of home and security. However, when a memory strikes them, their mood shifts, and they reveal a protective side that guards their heart fiercely. “Trust is earned,” they say, a little cautiously. They encourage you to embrace your emotions, valuing the bonds that nurture and protect.
♌ Leo
The Performer: A vibrant, confident person with a radiant smile and an air of pride.
Leo strides up to you, exuding warmth and charm, their laughter filling the air. “Welcome to my world!” they say with a grand gesture, speaking with the ease of someone who loves the spotlight. They’re magnetic, and as they talk, you feel like the only person in the room, basking in their attention. “Life is a stage—why not shine?” they say, radiating self-assuredness. However, you sense a touch of insecurity behind the confidence; they thrive on admiration. Leo’s enthusiasm lifts your spirits, encouraging you to embrace your inner light and to never hold back on expressing yourself.
♍ Virgo
The Analyst: A neat, attentive person with observant eyes, dressed with precision and care.
Virgo greets you in a tidy, organized workspace, their demeanor calm and focused. They offer you tea, made just right, and immediately get to the point. “Let’s see how we can improve things,” they say, their analytical mind whirring. They discuss practicalities and fine details, showing a passion for precision, though you sense they can be overly critical, even of themselves. “There’s always a way to be better,” they add, a bit serious but kind. Virgo’s humility and dedication inspire you to refine your own life, seeing value in mindfulness and improvement.
♎ Libra
The Diplomat: A charming, well-dressed person with a graceful manner and a smile that feels like a warm invitation.
Libra meets you in a beautifully decorated room, with balanced, harmonious décor. They greet you warmly and ask, “How are you? How’s everyone?” They seem genuinely interested in creating harmony and ensure everyone feels comfortable. They speak thoughtfully, taking care to see both sides of every issue, but they avoid conflict, skirting around any uncomfortable topics. “Life is more beautiful when we’re in harmony,” they say, flashing a graceful smile. Libra’s charm and fairness make you feel seen and respected, reminding you of the value of balance and beauty in all things.
♏ Scorpio
The Mystic: A deep, intense person with piercing eyes and an air of mystery.
Scorpio approaches you in a dimly lit room, their eyes sharp, as though they can see through you. They speak in a quiet, intense tone, each word deliberate. “Tell me your secrets,” they say, not as a question but as an invitation to reveal your depths. Scorpio’s presence is magnetic, and they’re unafraid to explore life’s shadows. They hint at their own vulnerabilities but guard them closely, revealing only what they choose. “Transformation is inevitable,” they say with quiet conviction. Scorpio’s depth and courage invite you to confront your fears and to embrace the powerful changes within.
♐ Sagittarius
The Adventurer: A spirited, enthusiastic person with an open smile and a twinkle of curiosity in their eyes.
Sagittarius meets you outdoors under a wide, starry sky, ready to set off on a new adventure. They slap you on the back with a grin, laughing, “The world is ours to explore!” Their optimism is infectious, and they speak about grand ideas, distant lands, and big dreams. But as they talk, you notice they can be blunt, sometimes missing the subtle details. “Life’s too short to hold back!” they say. Their energy is freeing, pushing you to dream big, to expand your horizons, and to explore the world without limits.
♑ Capricorn
The Builder: A reserved, composed person with a steady gaze and a no-nonsense approach.
Capricorn meets you in a study filled with books and plans, their demeanor serious and focused. They talk about goals, strategy, and discipline, saying, “Success is earned.” Their tone is practical, grounded, and they show an unwavering dedication to their ambitions. But they also hint at a weight they carry, perhaps a tendency to take on too much responsibility. “There’s no shortcut,” they add, their eyes determined. Capricorn’s persistence and patience inspire you to commit to your goals, reminding you that with dedication, anything is possible.
♒ Aquarius
The Visionary: A unique, slightly unconventional person with an open mind and a detached, intellectual air.
Aquarius greets you with a bright smile, gesturing at the stars above. “Have you ever thought about the bigger picture?” they ask, speaking in abstract ideas and theories. They’re friendly, but there’s a certain detachment, as if they’re more comfortable discussing humanity as a whole than personal matters. “We’re all connected,” they say, radiating openness and originality. While they value independence, they seem averse to routine. Aquarius’s visionary ideas encourage you to think freely, to question the norms, and to explore your own unique path.
♓ Pisces
The Dreamer: A soft-spoken, empathetic person with dreamy eyes and a gentle, almost ethereal presence.
Pisces meets you by a quiet lake at twilight, their voice soft as a whisper. “Come, let’s dream together,” they say, leading you into a world of imagination. They speak poetically, with a sensitivity that borders on vulnerability. They seem deeply connected to feelings, sometimes lost in them, yet their compassion is boundless. “Life is more than what we see,” they muse, their thoughts drifting. Pisces’s warmth and depth invite you to look beyond the physical, to trust your intuition, and to embrace the mysteries within.
