Can you write another male Wednesday where they do get married and are newly weds? Please??
Married Life
Pairing: Male!Wednesday Addams x Reader
Warnings: Blunt suggestion of smut, marriage, mention of torture, contact with hot liquid
Author's Note: Ooh, I like you, anon. You used the word please. Characters aged up, same as other fics.
I do not own The Addams Family. Pls don't come after me.
Do not copy, plagiarize, or translate any of my works or their assets.
“Wednesday, put me down,” You laugh, hands gripping the back of his neck. He shakes his head, a small smile making its way onto his face.
“Is it not customary for husbands to carry their wives over the threshold?” Wednesday questions sarcastically, knowing full well the tradition called for that.
You shake your head in exaggerated exasperation, doing your best to restrain your grin. It’ll only encourage his snarky attitude, and you can’t have that.
Wednesday smiles down at you before looking back up at your new home, one that was bought months ago as a post-wedding dwelling for you both. It’s a beautiful house- dark paint covering it, with shades of black complimenting the trimming and accents. And though the house is large, the purple-leaf plum trees provide excellent dimension, as well as a small pop of color. It took days for you to convince Wednesday that the color the plants offered was a good thing, and not everything had to be pitch black. But the convincing was worth it, you think as you stare at your new home. The purple really does tie it together.
Wednesday seems to think so too, judging by his awestruck stare. You laugh quietly at his admiration, determined not to break the moment’s serenity. That, and he looks too sweet to interrupt.
And so you enter the house, or rather, Wednesday carries you into it. Once in the foyer, he gently sets you down, rubbing his hand along the small of your back once he does. You let yourself enjoy the vintage-like atmosphere of the house, your eyes wander over the walls and ceiling before returning to your husband.
Your husband. You could get used to that.
*___*
Barely two weeks into your marriage, and you’re loving every second of it. Sure, the occasional bicker over what type of carpet to buy or what color the sitting room should be painted, but other than that, life is peaceful.
You think about this as you walk down the stairs towards the kitchen, steps echoing through the wide hallways. Light from the windows shines onto the wooden floors, warming the otherwise brisk corridors in early autumnal sunshine.
Finally, you make it to the kitchen, where Wednesday has already set up camp. He’s fretting over the counters, cooking up a storm. That’s another thing about your spouse- almost everyone in his family knows how to cook, and cook well. Of course those skills were handed down to him.
“Hey, babe.” You call out, leaning against the island countertop. Wednesday turns to you, his icy eyes warming a little with your presence.
“Good morning, cara mia.” He strides over to you, wrapping his arms lazily around your hips. You lean into your husband, your eyes fluttering shut in his comforting presence.
“Did you sleep well?” Wednesday murmurs, dropping his chin to rest on your head.
“I did, especially with you there,” you respond, sighing happily.
“I’m flattered, my love.” Wednesday grins. He kisses your head once, twice, before leaning back. “Now, how would you like some coffee?”
You groan. “I love you.”
“I know,” Wednesday smirks, but after a sharp glance from you, he backtracks. “I love you too, cara mia. I’ll go get your coffee.”
He walks back to the countertop, reaching for your favorite mug and bringing it back to you. You take it from him, not-so-accidentally brushing your fingers over his to make him blush like a schoolgirl.
“Thank you, babe.” You whisper, planting a kiss on his cheek before sitting yourself on the top of the counter.
“Anything for you, Y/n.” He follows you to the counter, waiting for you to open your legs so he can slip in between them. “Coffee, torture… pleasure.”
You almost give in, but you’re rudely reminded of your coffee mug when the hot liquid splashes onto your wrist.
“Wednesday, let me finish my coffee before you eat me out.” He snorts at that, lowering his head to hide his grin before backing off.
“Of course, cara mia.” And with a kiss to your forehead, he’s swept away from you and back in front of his cooking, a grin still tainting his lips.
Yeah, you could definitely get used to this.

A Mini sh date!
read on ao3
A tiny voice talked to the hero in purple from his shoulder. It was almost too soft to hear and in a different language entirely. He tilted his head towards the small black dot on his tunic and listened before nodding. He held a wood weave basket on his elbow as he went through town on the opposite side. As they went through town, actually.
Sitting on his shoulder, holding on with tiny black claws, was Shadow in a minish form. Since the town was still wary of him, they had the idea to hide him like this when it was less than two heroes to one Shadow. Less stress and stares. He looked like a tiny version of Minish Link, in black and purple. His eyes were red and blue and he was adorable. The bustling early evening was peaceful, despite the bodies and rush. It felt nice to just be apart of the crowd.
At a vendor stall Vio picked out some fruit Shadow had just requested. It was his new favorite thing since becoming a real tangible being. He had a sweet tooth like no other. Instead of dealing with him having toothaches ans scaring the local dentist with his fangs, suoer sweet fruits came in handy. He looked over the options. Mostly apples, being mid fall of course. He chose a few of those but some way overripe plums and peaches. Those had to be shipments from out of the city, since that was an odd choice for the orchards around here. He hummed and also added cherries.
“Are you sure you want those? It’s awfully ripe, won’t last the week!” The woman wasn’t being subtle in her admiration and favoritism. Vio’s eyes glinted in amusement. It wasn’t his first time being subject to the locals. Esepcially now that they had reached their late twenties.
“Aha,” he chuckled warmly, thinking of Shadow’s little fangs biting the giant soft peach. “Thank you, but yes. I’m sure it won’t even last the evening. The overripe ones are sweeter, and a favorite in the household.” He placed the goods in the basket after handing over a red and blue rupee. Shadow chirped to him a thank you.
“Oh I see! You’re so smart dear!” She handed back the change and held his hand for too long. “Have a lovely day now, and come back soon!”
“You as well,” he stepped away to find the next vendor they needed. Humming as he went over their list again.
“She was totally flirting with you,” Shadow teased. He pinched his cheek with his tiny hand. “How cute. Too bad for her! You’re mine.”
Vio smiled, but unable to answer without seeming strange in public, he gave a quiet “Mmhm.” He should stop at Pita’s, he decided. They could share a croissant and maybe get a kinstone prize.
He continued to gather their list, wordlessly greeting any Minish they saw as they went. Shadow gave a friendly wave to the ones that spotted him.
Vio stopped for a nice conversation with Librari who was dusting the shelf outside his book house when he was returning something to the library. Shadow hopped off and helped while they chatted. He’d really made some good friends in town with the local Minish while hiding from angry townsfolk a few nights.
Shadow climbed back up his arm and onto the shoulder spot as they left. The list was done, but he headed in the direction of the bakery. Shadow made a questioning noise at him. He just smiled and kept going. It smelled like fresh baking bread and yeast as he opened the door. Warm delicious air hit their faces. Shadow stood up, using Vio’s collar for balance.
He bought them some treats and waved to the hard working couple as they left.
“You sneak! You said no sweets!”
“Bread doesn’t count,” Vio defends, sitting in a park under the shade of a large tree. He held out his hand for Shadow to hop onto and put him on his criss crossed knee. “I know you slept all morning and didn’t eat yet.” he put the croissant on a napkin next to him.
“Aww.” He tore off some and sat with him as a chill breeze rolled in, rattling the orange and red trees. A leaf flew by and smacked him in the tiny face. Vio’s laugh is sudden and warm. It was the best kind.
“Fuck! stupid nature.” he didn’t mean it. he crossed his arms and huffed. Vio ruffled his hair with a finger. Shadow gave him a mock glare and chomped his fingertip.
“Ow! Shit your teeth are sharp!”
Shadow cackled and climbed back up to his spot. “That's what you get!
The sun was starting to set, they really needed to start heading home. It was only around six, but mid fall could get surprisingly cold at night.
They made their way to the Castle Town entrance. Vio packed the basket goods in the horse saddle bags and secured the basket before hopping up. He took out a light scarf and wrapped it around for a bit of warmth but also for something to secure Shadow better as he horse jostled them around.
“It’s really nice out,” Shadow was snug and close enough to his ear he could properly hear him. “This was kinda like a date.”
“Mm. Yeah, duh. It is a date love.” He snorted. “It’s a bit chilly now.” He knows that's what Shadow prefers. After spending so long on a hot mountain, he started enjoying fall and winter the most. “Especially for you, tiny mouse Shadow.” he snickered.
“That’s cute tiny mouse Shadow to you!” he corrected. Vio felt the poke of his tiny claw on his neck. “Annnd don’t you forget it.”
“Haha, of course.” he brought a hand up and felt Shadow grab onto his finger and playfully bite again. “Ow! haha hey! You’re more of a cat than a mouse honestly.” He scolded but kept it there for their sort of hand hold. It was also an assurance he wasn’t falling off from the movement, it was another hour to get home after all. The dark grew around them as a peaceful night rolled over. The lantern on his hip and the crescent moon their only light as they entered the forest path.
They had taken it enough times though, and had no problems. Soon enough they emerged to their shared house, lights on a muffled talking. They were home.

Funguary '24: Silver Leaf Fungus | Lilac Seadragon
Week 1 | Week 3 | Week 4
Coincidentally we have a dragon in the year of the dragon just a few days shy of the Lunar New Year! 🐉 Based on the timing I posted this, it's also Valentine's Day ❤️
Silver leaf is actually a fungal disease caused by chondrostereum purpureum that viciously attacks the Rosaceae family that includes roses, apricots, plums, peaches and almonds. It also attacks deciduous trees like maple and hawthorn. The name is derived from the silvering of leaves on affected hosts, and the disease is often fatal. The fungus is as widespread as its hosts and can be a serious parasite to living trees.
Inspired by the properties of silver leaf disease and wanting to do something in spirit of the year of the dragon, I came up with a poisonous seadragon species. Halfway through I realised the pokemon Dragalge is basically the same concept but mine is quite a different take, I hope!
Really struggled with the rendering. I gave up multiple times and kept sighing on how to fix the shading because no matter what or how much I edited, I wasn't satisfied but I had to move on. It was fun coming up with a design and its background, though!
Each #Funguary2024 I do will be depicted as a sea creature and designed like an encyclopedia page. Funguary is a yearly drawing challenge in February hosted by artist Feefal to turn fungi prompts into characters.

Grape responds to the kiss and a wink with a smile. She only vaguely understands the gesture, but she appreciate his efforts. She then looked over the cookie cutters he got out. She watched him rolled out the cookie dough.
Picking the cookie outline Maple offered her, she inspect it closely. It's a Gyftrot with decoration on it. Placing the cookie outline on the dough, she noticed that the flatter side did not cut through the dough well. She flipped it and tried again. Once the outline was removed, there was a printed Gyftrot on the dough.
The flame crackled from the kiss. Grape was generally up for a challenge, so she observed the bowl. While she may been quietly standing guard, she had been observing. It was through Maple that she was coaxed out of her hiding. She was far more comfortable at home out of public prying eyes.
She honestly thought that she was lucky to have him but didn't have a chance to voice it. Stirring was something she can do, however. Once the bowl was secured, she used the spoon she saw Maple use earlier to stir. Cooking had been a new thing to learn for her as she put into practice what she saw, unaware of her concentration face with a little tongue sticking out.
"Is this good?" She then asked once she was certain the bowl was mixed and that she was starting to have difficulty stirring. She tilted the bowl slightly for him to get a better look.

I see that this body made of the four elements is not really me and I am not limited by this body. I am the whole of the river of life of blood and spiritual ancestors that has been continuously flowing for thousands of years and flows on for thousands of years into the future. I am one with my ancestors and my descendants. I am life that is manifest in countless different forms. I am one with all species whether they are peaceful and joyful or suffering and afraid.
I am present everywhere in this world. I have been present in the past and will be there in the future. The disintegration of this body does not touch me, just as when the petals of the plum blossom fall it does not mean the end of the plum tree.
I see that I am like a wave on the surface of the ocean. I see myself in all the other waves, and all the other waves in myself. The manifestation or the disappearance of the wave does not lessen the presence of the ocean…
My lifetime, like that of a leaf or of a Buddha, is immeasurable. I am able to go beyond the idea that I am a body separate from all other manifestations of life, in time and in space.

ghoul element perfume associations!
i've done a few scent association lists for individual ghouls, and i thought it would be fun to do one for elements instead! it's a little more general, which lets me include perfume that i really like but that don't fit any of the ghouls exactly. as always, i would love your feedback!!
Usual warning: This might look weird on mobile, but it should be good on desktop. Apologies, I'd fix it if I knew how.

3. Final weeks of summer
Autumn is the season of change, not spring, and it is much worse. There’s the rotten final weeks of summer, when you’re tired of heat and plums lie in piles, forgotten and unplucked, only visited by wasps. Then, bit by bit, there’s all the yellows and reds and oranges, along with the fresh smell of rain and frost. Worse of all there’s always hope: this year, it will all be different. This year I will come back to school, not just better, but fully formed, the person I was meant to be all along. And everyone will smile and say: we knew that wonderful thing was hiding in there all along. It is not just change, but the repetition of it, and soon all autumns thread themselves on a string to go over again and again like rosary beads.
With a splash, Fleur-de-lis throws themselves in the pond behind the postman’s. They are no longer in school, but their school is in them stored somewhere next to their ability to breathe. The aspen trees leaning over the water are still mostly bright green, but here and there a yellow leaf has appeared. They take a few stable strokes into the middle of the pond, then let themselves float. In water, their body finally seem to have a stable form. Not that jittery sense of flickering, and of being sometimes almost transparent which mum says is only in their head. The sky is midday blue, but the days are shorter now, and the midday sun is not the same sharp sun of June. Their very first memory must be from summer the year they began school, it is all a blur, but the sun is the only clear image.
Across the pond: the old church, sinking more and more into the moss for each year. It is of stone, and the tower is a rectangle, like a child’s drawing of a fort, tilting slightly, allegedly since forever. Surrounded by old oaks and pines, it always seems cast in shadow. On the grass around: gravestones, sticking out like an old man’s teeth. They let themselves drift towards it, slowly, until they touch the pond floor on the other side. A sunbeam has made its way through the trees, making the stained glass shine. Fleur-de-lis shivers. An old memory comes nearer, an old song possibly, but then drifts away faster than they can catch it.

What are the worst warrior names that Bramblestar has given according to clanmew? Like which ones would be average for us but terrible for them?
Ohhh he BUTCHERED Blossomfall's litter. It was his WORST set yet, and a massive contrast to the Impostor's takeover for the next round of names.
There is no Eaglewing in Better Bones, so there are three in the litter; Shellfur (Ekshfaf), Stemleaf (Prryemruss), and Plumstone (Neobbon).
"Why was Shellfur's so bad?"
Because his name refers to a very hard, not beautiful shell. "Eksh" is the shell of a freshwater mussel, some kinds of snails, and is used to describe ram horns. His prefix wasn't really meant to invoke his beautiful coat, it was meant for strength.
It's almost like Bramblestar swapped Plum's and Shell's suffixes. Shellstone would have been much more fitting as a name, or at LEAST Shellpelt.
"Why was Plumstone's so bad?"
Plums are a favorite tree fruit of ThunderClan cats, purple and pretty, named because Blossomfall was missing her family while she was part of the Kin. It's notable that she didn't use the word for damsons, Meob, which is preferred by ShadowClan for being more tangy. Those were local to where the Kin was set up.
If you want to refer to a plum stone, the woody nut inside of a plum, word would have been Neobnekboq. For a plum pit, the poisonous seed deep within the stone, that word is Neobkong.
So Neobbon is... a plum made of stone?? A stone that looks like a plum???
Thriftpaw, trying to be helpful: "Maybe it means that there's a stone inside the plum! Even stronger than a nut!"
Shellfur: "or it means that you'd break your tooth"
"Why was Stemleaf's so bad?"
Stem's prefix is Prryem. It's more than just 'stem,' it's where a plant begins. It's where a stalk meets the root, it's where a tree emerges from the ground. He was the firstborn of his litter, his mother's first child, and this was a very abstract name.
EVERYONE expected it to be "Stemflower" (Prryemponma), implying a beautiful beginning where a flower is rising from the soil, especially for his bright ginger coat.
Buuuut instead he was named... Stemleaf, implying that a leaf is rising right out of the ground. MAYBE if Bramblestar had said something about dandelions or lamb's ear or even thistles at his ceremony, a kind of hardy plant where the leaves do jump out of the ground, MAYBE then it would have gotten some charity.
But he just dropped the names with very little explanation or fanfare, citing how responsible and hardworking Stemleaf is, so the whole Clan was like, ?????? and had to figure it out all on their own.
It was expected though! A bit of a right of passage, even. He's been leader for a long time and all of the younger cats in the Clan have Bramble-names. However, it did get some hushed ribbing from the other Clans at their first gathering.
