Espionage | Chapter 4

We are going back into the archives for this one, folks. I realized I hadn't updated it since 2018. ...That was just two years ago though, right? .... right???? Anyway I wrote myself out of the corner I was stuck in, so this is optimistically going to be seeing some more light now.

Chapter 4: Foundation

When the supply of lazon vanishes without warning, all intelligence points to Cain DuBlois; the leader of a crime syndicate nestled in the heart of the Crimson Quadrant. Allura realizes the only way to find out what happened to the essential fuel source is to slip undercover and search through their ranks. The task should be fairly simple and low-risk - until her identity is jeopardized when a Drule prince shows up demanding answers of his own.

My brief timeline for Will/Kyle/Thomas Riker

Some of this I've written/posted already, some I plan on writing but it's just vague ideas running through my head.

Mid 2371--Tom Riker escapes from the Lazon II

2372--Kyle Riker is incarcerated after it's discovered that he'd been in contact with Tom and helped him evade capture. He's sentenced to seven months at the NZ penal colony when he refuses to give any information on Tom's whereabouts.

2375 - Betazed is occupied by the Dominion (this is canon) I'm thinking that perhaps Tom played a hand in trying to help liberate the planet? maybe?

Post-Dominion War. While continuing to evade Starfleet, Tom Riker works behind the scenes to liberate Cardassian prison camps.

At one point, Tom reached out to Will using a alias he knew Will would recognize--Thaddeus Culver.

At some point (either in 2375 or a few years after, Will tries to convince Tom to turn himself in to authorities. Tom refuses because he knows he'll be sent t a penal colony and he'd rather live free and on the run.

2378 - Kyle Riker dies (don't have the details yet but I'm thinking he died trying to save Will's life). His death is the catalyst for Will to propose to Deanna.

That's all I have. I do believe that Tom Riker is still alive out there in 2401, however, I don't think he's had any contact with Will for over twenty years.

The Borg implants were gone, but they still stung. Troi could tell — not just through empathy, but from the way Picard kept hunching his shoulders on the bridge, the twinge of facial muscles as he fought the urge to rub his shoulder against his cheek and grind the pain away. -- Nothing Heavier, a multichap Riker/Picard/Troi fic.

dinner: chicken lazone (i skipped out on the noodles) and radishes (i took off most of the cheese and bacon that was on top of them)

also had a cherry zero dp.

i felt soo so tired at the gym today. i had zero energy. but i didn't really feel all that hungry today, just exhausted. because of that, i didn't really feel the need to eat anything before dinner. i wanted to, but i didn't.
