so this is a watercolor painting i made for my dad for his birthday as a surprise. he and his brother made a motorcycle tour through Norway and Sweden, where they also passed this waterfall(s). i painted everything with watercolors except for the water and the motorcycle, which i used acrylic paint for. i wanted to color the bridge in more carefully, but my dad came back a day earlier than he was supposed to so i didn’t have the time.

Den 5. - část druhá 🇳🇴

Pak jsme se vydali na cestu směr vodopády Langfossen, kde jsme si udělali krátký, zato celkem náročný výšlap (3 km, 1.5 h - čas prodloužen i skrz časté zastávky na borůvky, 323 m převýšení). Následoval outdoorový obchod v městečku Odda (Kateřina si nesbalila zimní věci), pozdní oběd, a na závěr dne přejezd k Hjølmu, kde bylo pořádně náročné se vyškrábat nahoru (VW Cady Maxi zvládá všechno perfektně!). Ale rozhodně nelitujeme, máme skvělé místo na spaní (asi nejlepší doposud - vodopád, výhled do údolí a na hory). Ujeli jsme cca 210 km, prostředí opět 10/10. Řízení náročné, ale užívám si to.

Since we are from Oregon, it takes A LOT to impress us when it comes to waterfalls. We have them everywhere. However in Norway, they are not only everywhere, you can see many at the same time! The volume of water coming off of the glaciers is so intense that you feel more alive as the water rushes down the mountain. Here are a few of our favorites.
