[ID: Two screenshots of the lyrics to Laleh's song "It was all for the kids". The first screenshot reads "And I know we might be gone/Right before we get to see it/Everything we planted/Leave it in the soil" and the second reads "And they're just boys and they're just girls/Just tryna get a word in/Fit in suits and wrestling shoes (In wrestling shoes)/Aha, we were born into this". /End ID]

Last weekend i went to a concert, it was fucking amazing, like seriously so lovely. I had been worried it'd be too overwhelming for me but I actually ended up just getting swept up by the full-body experience that is hearing a bunch of music I've listened to since i was a kid live.
The only downside, which was a fairly big downside considering it messed up my opinion of the artist, was that she used ai generated art/animation in the background during one of the songs. Artists- please for the love of god support other artists by refusing to take advantage of the "free work" ai art generators provide. The rest of the concert had beautiful videos that seemed to be made by artists playing behind her as she sung, I really wish she could've just stuck to that. :/
Otherwise it was a beautiful experience, i sang so badly. It was evening and it had just rained, the sky cleared up as the concert went on, eventually you could look up and see stars which was lovely and so peaceful. It was super fun.
The artist was Laleh btw

(Postcards - songs she has written and produced for Shawn Mendes, Jacob Banks, Demi Lovato, Ellie Goulding and more. In an industry and a world where, according to Billboard magazine, only 2% of music is produced by women...)

idc kaveh uses farsi terms of endearment with his lover and you guys can fight me on that!!
“come here, azizam (my dear)”
this is the term he would use most often. this is the one he is most willing to use in public, especially around alhaitham. wants to remind alhaitham that even though he is broke and living with him, at least he has a lover. probably drawls it out whenever he's around his roommate. whenever you get lost in the bazaar, he's calling out "azizam" to find you.
“oh, jigaram (my liver), i can’t bear to look at these blueprints any longer. stay up with me,”
kaveh needs his liver just like he needs you <3 (middle easterners are so dramatic with their love). he only uses this term when he's feeling especially vulnerable and stressed out. the first time he said it was when you pointed out the artistic references he puts in his architecture. the first time he uses it is when he realizes how much he loves you and the reassurance your presence provides. says it all desperately as he pleads with you to stay up with him while he works.
“have a little fun, moosh moosh-am (my little mouse). when you frown like that, you look like alhaitham,”
he teases you with this term. whenever you're upset and pouting, he'll call you this since it is just so sickeningly sweet and cheesy. he's wrapping his arms around you or pinching your cheeks as he says it. it probably annoys you more, and that just makes him want to hold you even closer.
