As the kids are coming home soon, Diane offers to help tidy up at the farm with feather dusting and hoovering (showing she’ll fit right in eh?) as does Zak (in return for ‘for a leg of lamb…’) while Jack is in the midst of harvesting. Sarah comes up with the idea of taking over Roy & Kelly’s cottage as, when it’s time for the hearing, she can affirm there’s room for the kids with her. Chris agrees to renting the cottage to the two of them (he was having a meeting with Lady Tara). Lady Tara’s reaction to Richie and Sarah 😂. Chris gives Richie and Sarah a year before they end (they’ll be done in three 😭).

Sarah: Jack was a bit off in the pub earlier.

Richie: What’s new.

Sarah: I hope he’s not gonna be difficult about this access. I thought we turned a corner but… it’s Jack for you.

Jack considers moving the family into Tenant House, the paternity results for Gabby are in, Robert causes trouble between Andy and Katie including sharing a New Year’s Eve kiss, Cain intimidates Mark about prison. Charity takes on learning to drive a truck. Sean and Andrew’s time in the village has come to an end. Mark is sentenced. Eve kicks Edna’s dog and someone sees her do it leading to Edna opening her eyes about her. Jack puts the farm up for auction. Robert tells Katie about Andy’s part in Sarah’s death.
