i made this mii at the very end of my last tomodachi life game so i didnt play with him that much, but i really really really love him.

i wanted to make a writer and WAW he such in this role. like ; a pleasant guy who love the little things of his life. he's lovely.

Oh man I have a bookmark list a mile long on Art Fight, I find myself suffering the same malady I do all the rest of the year- TOO MUCH I DESIRE TO DRAW, NOT ENOUGH TIME TO DRAW IT ALL. It's so fun and freeing having this smorgasbord of amazing characters and enthusiastic recipients to just go diving through though, I wish I had all the time in the world to just make make make for everyone all the time.

Anyway tonight on the menu were some very cute animal people, there's Laplume the marten for PerlineJolicoeur, Claude the wolfdog for Voskhod, and Cleveland the bongo for Xallith.

So a month ago, I finally finished the Sly trilogy for the first time. ...And liked it so much it kicked me back into being creative. Story AND character wise.

Brainstormed a Sly-3 alike chapter within days and came up with not one, not two, but three new OCs. From left to right, here are Catherine (Cathy) Laplume, Charles Howler (her father), and Agatha Laplume (her mother). I’ll spare you from a wall of text, but here are some tidbits of info under the readmore if you’re interested:

The story/chapter takes place in Paris, more precisely in Moulin Rouge.

Charles Howler is the owner/showman of Moulin Rouge while Catherine, his daughter, is his most talented performer.

Agatha was a famous reporter and  renowned author who’d constantly try to follow Sly’s father to write the best scoops. She was killed in her husband’s office one night in a mysterious thief accident - an accident that was blamed on Conner Cooper, but there’s more to it...

Unknown to her father, Cathy was a former member of the Klaww Clan, but a more discrete one. She’d write gossip articles under a pen name to ruin the reputation of anyone who’d cause a problem to the clan.

Aside from her performances in Moulin Rouge, Cathy worked as a model at Dimitri Lousteau’s night club while it was still open. In truth, she was using the place as an hideout to write her gossip articles - and it was also a way for her to have fun, far from the pressure her father constantly put on her shoulders.

Cathy considered Arpeggio like a second father - and Dimitri remains a very close friend/dance partner and more as the games’ events unfold.

Fun facts about the names:

Charles Howler is a mix between the two founders of Moulin Rouge (Charles Zidler and Joseph Oller)

Both Catherine and Agatha are cat puns (first one is obvious, second is based on “cat” in spanish). But Agatha is also a reference to Agatha Christie.
