Finally playing La Pucelle. I tried this game way back when I was like in middle school I think, but I really couldn’t get anywhere due to not understanding the mechanics at all back then. Shot plenty of rope over Prier though .

Really fun so far. The enemy capture mechanic feels a lot more necessary and well integrated then it ever was in Disgaea.

The Totocalcio looks like a giant flying whale! I mean...guess it gives credence to my theory that Homard liberated the Escargot from either Etoile or Crea (or they gave it to him to help his quest to avenge his father's injury...). Since, ya know, its name means "snail" and its reminiscent of one (though not as exact).

Here's my Rhapsody RPG collection. Got a chance to put them all together. These should be all the US English releases. Japan got a few more. But I'm happy with these. We got the First Rhapsody on ps1, and its remake on DS. La Pucelle Tactics on ps2, which takes place years after the first Rhapsody. And then we have yet another Remaster on switch with Prinny Presents Nis Classics vol 3. It's got both LaPucelle and Rhapsody in it. And lastly, Marl Kingdom, Chronicles. It's got two Japanese sequels that never got an English release until now. So, if you like a whimsical, comedic RPG series that for many years flew under the radar, give these games a try!
