Black Mary always!

Curled hair, dark brown eyes and big rosy lips.

Her family is from Bristol. Her mum was African and traveled all the way to the UK for a better life.

Her mum got pregnant with another man but he left her alone in a city she didn't know. She ended marrying a Black Church pastor (Jonah) who raised Mary as his own child.

Mary is a Leo, born the 11th of July.

The Macdonalds are part of the Black Church and Mary sings in the choir. She has an amazing voice.

Mary found out Jonah wasn't her father at the age of ten. Her whole life changed when she found out the truth.

Her relationship with Jonah changed. She became distant of him.

Jonah adored her as his own daughter. He believed she had talent as a singer and got her a scholarship to Hogwarts.

Although Mary was angry and she imagined her real father was someone rich and famous.

She wanted to be a rich popular girl and be able to buy all she wanted.

Watering the Andi Mack fandom with my obscure headcannons and waiting for the fans to return like wildlife to the forest

- TJ loves cartoons. He loves She Ra and Steven Universe but he also watches OLD cartoons. He just loves cartoons and when Cyrus introduces him to fandom space he lurks like it’s the daily newspaper.

- Cyrus thinks the word boyfriend sounds SO nice and he says it any chance he gets. TJ of course thinks it’s really cute and doesn’t mind at all.

- Iris thought that Cyrus just didn’t like her, which she was super bummed about but okay with. So when she runs into Cyrus and TJ at the next  renaissance fair, it’s a little bit healing for her. I think their agreement to be friends becomes a little more viable this time and they start hanging out regularly.

- Jonah deserves to be a part of the Good Hair Crew and the way they tell him is by coyly being like wow Jonah your hair looks great today…great..? You might even say good. And he is just like “I thought great was better than good”

- Andi and Buffy have been in love since season 2 but they take until their senior year of high school to realize and actually start dating, everyone is relieved, especially Cyrus who had to help Andi through thinking she must just have a crush on [checks notes] every boy Buffy has dated

I tend to lean towards an aromantic allosexual take on LonelyEyes in The Magnus Archives fan fiction because Peter Lukas would probably consider falling in love with someone to be against his religion and I'm pretty sure Jonah Magnus has subsumed everything in life to Schemes.

It's all alliances and bets between them. They wouldn't know how to fall in love with each other! They've each put too much between themselves and the very concept of romantic love.

I want aromantic queer Jonah Magnus. I am aro myself. I personally still feel affection for people, and I have relationships. I want to see this in characters, so I am projecting on Jonah/Elias.

Ideas for this are below:

I want to see a fanfic with a Jonah who is high out of his mind, and trying to explain to someone that he does feel affection for his main group of correspondence, however he doesn't think he could ever love Barnabas or anyone else from the group in the way that they want. Maybe even Mordechai overhearing this and purposefully making sure that himself and Barnabas are around Jonah more, just so that he can feed off of Barnabas' loneliness. 1800s flavored misconceptions about being aromantic, meaning that Jonah couldn't feel any affection for them at all, whereas Jonah actually feels a lot for all of them. It is just not romantic attraction.

I want to see Lonelyeyes with aromantic Elias, who does genuinely enjoy being around Peter and enjoys being married to him(ignoring when the man pisses him off and they get divorced, of course.) I need Elias trying to explain to Peter how he genuinely feels about the man, just for Peter to either say: nothing, maybe give a light acknowledgement, or a hum, and then "Oh." Maybe this can lead to more of an explanation. Maybe Peter is also aromantic, or he is just happy with the idea of being in a "loveless" marriage. There is also the possibility that this causes a divorce because Peter doesn't quite understand what Jonah actually means, and he thinks that Jonah is trying to break off their arrangement(he isn't).

Even exploring this with other Jonah-centric ships.

There are so many possibilities with an aromantic and queer Jonah.

After a long moral battle, Iris also decided to start wearing pants.

Penny is Adam Loomis’ twin sister. As a teenager she leveraged her marriage to Damien as a way to escape her family’s vision for her life, and converted to the Scleran church. She now works as a scientist at a leading lab. Despite how their relationship started, Penny and Damien have grown to truly love each other, though neither of them want children.

Joshua is the eldest of the Loomis’ third set of twins. Adriana is the third daughter of the Moore family, who originally ran the Irisite Newcrest church. Joshua disliked what he saw of his parents religion in regards to his twin brother, James, and his sister Penny. After marrying Adriana they both converted to the Scleran church and are happily childless. Joshua currently works as a local representative, and Adriana as an art critic.

James (now Jamie) is Joshua’s twin brother. The night of his eighteenth birthday he and Jonah, the youngest of the Shearer children, eloped and ran away together to escape the homophobic Irisite church, each mutually deciding to leave religion entirely. Jamie is now a doctor at the San Myshuno hospital, and Jonah is part of a nonprofit, San My Pride. They are childless, though took in Jamie’s younger sister, Maxine (Max) after she was kicked out of the house by Johnathan Loomis. Since moving out Max has discovered that she is aromantic and asexual, and is developing her writing career.

Derek and Mary-Faith Loomis

Denomination: Eternal Teachings of the Watcher Megachurch, run by Geoffrey Landgraab. 

Fundie Status: Full Fundie

Derek was the first singleton child of the Loomis family, and is married to the eldest daughter of the wealthy Landgraab family, who founded the ETW. Theirs was very much an arranged marriage, and they used Loomis family funds to purchase this large house where they’ll live until Derek inherits the Loomis family home. They are expected to have many children to uphold the image of the ETW, which they will do, if reluctantly. Derek currently works at a position in the magazine writing department of the ETW.

oh my goodness yes absolutely i would be okay sharing. Sasha's my girl!! i love her!!! and i will not stand for fanon's slander of my beloved.

a while back i made a post about the list i have of Various Sasha Observations from the episodes she appears in (tbh i still need to add stuff from MAG 039 to it...), but what's always struck me is just how full of character and life she is, even appearing in as few episodes as she did. she's curious, clever, snarky, pedantic, reckless, and cares for her friends so much. basically the opposite of the "braincell holder" archetype she's been assigned!! she faces monsters head-on twice to protect her friends, she learned about Martin's CV through her own snooping and kept that information to herself so he could keep his job, she seems really easy to talk to (in MAG 024, she manages to coax an amused tone out of Jon, who's in full prickly-boss-mode at this point in the series), and she's also just as clueless about archiving as the rest of the characters (see: the stapler incident. standard staples rust, i believe what she should have been doing to keep the loose statements together was putting them into individual folders? i'm not an archivist. but the idea Sasha would have been better at archiving is not true. she would have absolutely been a better Archivist though. in Jonah's eyes, at least. she's got Jon's lack of self-preservation and double the curiosity).

also just...as an arospec person i love projecting on her, honestly. aromantic!Sasha is a headcanon very dear to my heart; i'm particularly fond of queerplatonic interpretations of her and Tim's relationship. i'm also very fond of queerplatonic jonsasha! which is even harder to find!! i just love the ace/aro solidarity they could have. i've got fic WIPs that feature both those relationships in more spotlighted roles than they usually get, if only i could finish them...alas, i'm a notoriously slow writer. they'll get done eventually, i promise 😅

oh my GOD i almost forgot to mention just how often the other characters bring her up after her death!!! see, like, another thing about fanon is how often Sasha is sidelined, even when she's still alive, but Jon pauses for a heavy moment after Knowing she was killed by the Not!Them, and Martin repeatedly asks about her and her safety after "she" (the Not!Them) disappears, and Tim's downward spiral is accelerated by having lost another person dear to him to the Stranger. and even after her death, she's important to them. when Peter asks Jon "where are your friends, Archivist?" in 159, his first answer is "Tim and Sasha are dead," when his closest friend at the time is Daisy. this isn't even important to her characterization per se, but it's important to me that you know that she was so important to them. she was their friend!!! even though she was forgotten she was remembered as a friend!!!!!

...but uh, yeah. that's my thoughts, lol. Sasha James is the light of my life and fanon absolutely dropped the ball on her. fanon tends to drop the ball on most things but Sasha especially. God i love her so much. it's like my personal mission to get the fandom to care about her as much as i do.

Hmmmmm, great question. There’s one major reason why Louis puts up with Jonah, but I can’t reveal that just yet. it’s a big spoiler 🤭

However, I can share some other things that give a bit of context without giving away major plot points:

1) Louis did love Jonah at one point. Their relationship was great before their marriage, and Louis never would have married Jonah if he’d known things would fall apart like they did three years later.

2) Both of their families are dead. They essentially only have each other now, and their relationship started to sour after losing their families to a devastating hurricane, among other things. There’s a lot of guilt and survivor’s remorse lingering in the background.

3) Louis blames Lestat/his company for Jonah’s downfall. Jonah used to be a kind and sweet person, but working as an executive assistant for powerful corporate CEOs turned him into a money-hungry parasite. He’s surrounded by sociopathic tech and finance people, and Louis witnessed the slow transformation of someone he cared deeply about. Jonah worked himself to the bone to climb the corporate ladder, and Louis feels partially responsible for encouraging him to pursue that route for their financial security.

4) Louis has known Jonah his whole life, so there’s a deep level of trust there that he hasn’t been able to replicate with anyone else. Jonah is his first love so he does have a soft spot for him.

5) Louis is in denial about his marriage being over... for now. He’s holding onto hope that Jonah can show him that the person he fell in love with is still there somewhere, though it’s becoming harder and harder to believe. 😬

6) Louis doesn’t fully realize it yet, but he never truly loved Jonah on a deeper level. He loved him, sure but in love with him? Not quite. He was more in love with the idea of Jonah for reasons he hasn’t fully grasped himself. This version of Louis is sheltered, and Jonah is his first... everything, leaving him with no frame of reference to compare those feelings to. Not until now. Also, this Louis is more aromantic… he doesn’t place much importance on attractiveness or typical romantic ideals. His love is rooted in something very very specific (Jonah knows this and takes full advantage), but that’s a spoiler I can’t share just yet.

A small hint would be the people pleasing tag 👀 and reason number 4 is particularly important for future reasons 😉

In addition to my identity as trans masc, I also identify as aromantic. This aspect of my identity informs my writing and allows me to explore different facets of relationships, love, and connection.

Some of the best comments I have ever gotten on my work were about how something I wrote was the first time someone felt seen or understood in media. So a part of me has gone into each character just so others known they are seen.

Hello! It sounds like you have some knowledge about guys, if it's not too much trouble, would you mind telling me what you think is each guy's ideal type? Which woman suits you best? (I ask because I need help with a fanfic and I'm not as analytical as you) just in case I clarify that they are the guys from Twst

I'm going to premise this by saying that I'm in the aromantic spectrum so picking what type of woman each TWST boy likes is not the best question to be asked for me. I would say that any type of women would work as long as the chemistry is there. And I'm not only talking about the banter.

For me, writing a relationship is like a dance: someone initiates it, take hold of the other's hand, and leads it in the beginning. Soon, the partner, who was essentially dragged into it, reciprocated the dance and they turned into a waltz. When the first person started to slow down and nearly let go of the hand to step back, the others took the lead "This relationship is not over, I'm not letting you go just yet". Sometimes it became a power struggle, sometimes it's just a simple sway back-and-forth. And yet, everybody can see it's a dance and how the world around them disappears, creating a harmonious space just for the two dancers.

I am very picky with romance so my favorite trope to write is slow burn. It needs to be rewarding to reach the 'oh. oh' moment. Like, in my own fic where one of the relationships is between Azul and my OC Jonah, it took me 149 chapters until Azul admitted that he loves Jonah (they first meet in Chapter 3, the main conflict in Chapter 82, and the resolution in Chapter 124). Mind you that my fic is a retelling of TWST of their relationship is not the main focus, but you can actually feel the tension between 82 - 124. There's a back and forth between them; they became boss and co-workers before being friends, ruined their friendship in Octavinelle Arc, got back in Scarabia, and ended in a one-sided crush. Azul started the dance. Jonah joined in. A power struggle happened. Jonah is unwilling to let go of Azul at the end of his overblot, offering a second chance and initiating a new dance. Azul joined in the dance and in turn saved Jonah from death.

There has to be a balance between the ups and the downs. A relationship that is only filled with fluff might be too saccharine, while a relationship that is only filled with conflict might be toxic. Too much with one part will make a relationship too annoying or boring.

So, just because I answer it like this stop you from actually writing it, okay.

I think Libby is the only character that ever made me doubt this endgame for him. I absolutely loved her and not because I loved how he treated her. I mean, how are you going to date someone who is deaf and not learn sign???? But for the growth we saw in him.

Libby is not someone who would put up with someone not making an effort or someone unwilling to commit so a relationship between these two would mean he has grown a lot.

Riley’s introduction episode is the first episode where we had the chance to see Nick completely relaxed and herself and my god does she need this!!! She deserves someone who is separated from all of these things that she should not be dealing with and who will remind her that she is just a kid.
