my take on fem zoro

During Arguments between KODI:

1) who starts argument more often

2) who is more stubborn

3)who apologizes first?

4)who wins argument?

5)who was actually right,but lest other side win?

6)did KODI have argument on how to raise kids?

7)what opinion they do not share?

1.) i don't think either of them particularly start arguments - especially not on purpose. they just sort of.. happen some times. as with any relationship, they aren't perfect and misunderstandings/arguments are bound to happen.

2.) this is a tough one, but i think jodi is more stubborn. not maliciously, of course, but (in my mind) she is the youngest child and has three older brothers. that tends to make her more resilient, in a way? she was taught not to back away from her opinions, despite how some people may view her as a "subservient housewife"...

3.) kent. he always apologizes first. as evident in his three heart cutscene, kent will apologize to jodi regardless of what the player chooses. he values his wife more than anything and can understand when he was in the wrong.

4.) i don't think there are necessarily and winners or losers in their arguments - they both mutually apologize and realize they're both at fault. kodi do not enjoy blaming each other, even over small misunderstandings.

5.) re: point 4. they both agree that each of them was in the wrong. some parts of their arguments may have substance, but it isn't a case of "im right 100% and you're wrong". more like "we're both equally right and wrong"

6.) i don't really think so. when sam was born, both kent and jodi were fairly young (jodi 18, kent 19). neither of them had much experience with raising a child. along with this, i think kent's mother was a huge help. she gave them tons of advice. along with this, jodi's mother also gave advice (since she raised four children herself).

7.) lots of small, insignificant things. for the most part, they pretty much agree. one major issue, however, was the concept of kent's service. jodi wanted kent to stay and help raise a family, but kent felt an obligation to his county. eventually, jodi was more understanding and began praying for his safety. she also knew that her husband was quite a determined man - when he set his mind to something, he would find a way to make it work. HOWEVER, kent still make time to be the best father he could, which was something jodi truly appreciated.

8.) i don't really know what to put here. i just can't see kodi as a couple who argues often. the only instance we have of them arguing is the three heart event, but this is primarily because kent was having a PTSD reaction - not because he wanted to start an argument with his wife. he also immediately realizes he was in the wrong and that jodi couldn't have known it would affect him the way it did. iirc, jodi is making popcorn because it was "always your [kent's] favorite before you [he] left", which shows that she was trying to do something thoughtful for her husband.
