dont think about r and s getting matching tattoos of padfoot and moony that chase each other on their bodies and reflect their current emotions (maybe s has moony and r has padfoot, so when they touch they chase to the place where theyre touching so they can play, but also r has to spend 12+ years not looking at an incredibly sad padfoot hiding in his elbow)
