Aaaaaaaand welcome back to wholesome Bad Batch headcanons brought to you by the recesses of my memory!

My school put on a father-daughter dance every year when I was little. It was great. My sister and I would take turns asking our dad and our grandfather to be our dates, we’d get dressed up, go out to dinner, have fun all night, etc etc. It was one of my dad‘s and my grandfather’s favorite things.

So now I’m thinking about Pabu being its wholesome self and having a father-daughter dance. Omega is at school or out with Lyana or something when she hears about it and promptly loses her mind. She goes racing home first chance she gets to ask her brothers to go to this dance with her.

Wrecker is ecstatic. He thinks this is the coolest thing. Puts it in their schedule, finds the nicest clothes he has ever owned, gets Omega to help him get ready, and absolutely has a blast.

Crosshair is, well, Crosshair—outwardly pretty nonchalant about it like “pffft, of course I’m going. Why would you think otherwise?” And on the inside he’s so touched. This is just one more thing added to the mountain of reasons why he’d kill and die for Omega.

Hunter is completely over the moon. The man is holding back tears because he just loves this kid so much and even now it’s still sometimes hard to believe that this wonderful girl wants him and his brothers in her life.

realizing i literally just said i was thinking about it yesterday, but when i was messing around on namicomi you need to get the comic approved first and i didn't realize it would publish it immediately after approval 😱 so i guess that made up my mind for me more quickly than i thought as i would feel silly to delete it, so i went ahead afterwards and uploaded all 10 current episodes (making the tweaks for the uncensored pages) SO it's live on namicomi now as well, if you'd prefer to read it there or just interested in checking out the uncensored version (so many fucks LOLOL):

I typed up this whole post rambling about how good this episode has been. And ended up deleting it cuz I don’t even know where I was going with it 😂 Anyways, this one moment between Hondo and Street has me going feral. Just the parallels. And Street throwing Hondo’s words back at him to get him to see reason. Having Street be the one to talk him down. The role reversals. Just *chefs kiss*!

Dude, it's COMPLETELY okay that you don't have motivation to write/draw. I love TLLR (it's my favourite whump fic), but as someone who's had writer's block for 4 years, I completely understand that unmotivated feeling 🫠, especially considering there's that pressure for one's writing to be the best thing ever (just know not everything has to be perfect, yeah ik, easier said than done)

Anyways, TLLR inspired me to start writing my first whump story (fem whumper and whumpee if anyone's interested), so thank you for that! Your writing style is really engaging and it's so easy to get absorbed into the story. Anton and Dew feel so much like real people I kinda forget they're fictional sometimes. I don't know how to describe it. You just have a really good way with words
