I have seen a LOT of discourse about the finale so here is my final opinion on it: I Liked it I thought it was Very Bad
#shut up patrex#it made no sense at times the resolution was bad#but also: i dont care it was bad I had fun i like that Ruby is not an Important FigureTM it worked for me a lot#the real mom thing was trash but since rtd apparently already said Ruby was Wrong when she said that sure im willing#to give that plot its time#the ms floods thing lmao I love we still dont know actually! You know I've had a lot of posts on my dash about Lizzie including 3 fics... And all of them are about how she is ignored for the men.
I've not seen any of the content they're complaining about, and I've not seen any of the content they're asking for...
You know you can just... make content about Lizzie. Instead of content about the lack of content. You can just draw her or write about her or make headcanons and essays about her, instead of about how there isn't any.
We get it, nobody is talking about her. So, please just actually talk about her?

going to be so totally honest, im willing to sit through ANY amount of spock straightness love triangle subplots as long as SNW keeps up the 'giving compelling characterization to female characters' energy because holy shit how incredible has this season been so far? uhura, la'an, number one, chapel, and ortegas have all had iconic spotlight arcs where they just Do Shit, who even cares about spock at this point (and im saying this as someone who chronically and autistically Cares About Spock)

A common problem I have with superhero media is not having enough focus on their civilian stories and identities.
I LOVE when they interact with others as a civilian, with their friends, other heros, their villains. I'll be all OVER an episode exploring these different and new dynamics, how they may act like a hero without their mask too. Will they manage to save the day? Form new friendships? Will a fierce rival take a liking to this person they think they don't know? Just some slice of life?
I just.. awah I adore it SO MUCH i adore civilian centric stories and I love how they have a life and relationships and all the potentials it can explore. I'm especially fond of a hero as a civilian facing a villain and getting along even. And these stories can be SUCH a breath of fresh air between fights and adventures, they always tend to be favorites of mine

Ok I saw a post a while ago about how badly all the characters in titans just don't know Jason despite thinking they do and was just like "huh I don't see that but maybe it's just a few things in the last two seasons" but oh my gosh season 3 episode 1 and it's so frustrating already "why would jason be studying chemistry he couldn't read the back of a cereal box" "jason was impulsive" "it's all Jason's fault he could never learn" what the heck guys are we thinking about the same character right now????
