i want to keep the idea of Amanda cooking for Max when she's busy

when Max is getting really swept up in grading people's projects or developing photos and choosing the best ones, she forgets to eat actual food and just survives on the occasional hot pocket with hot sauce and coffee. and it doesn't bother her, because she's been doing that for years

Amanda knows she's "eating" but she's not eating decent, nutritious food made with LOVE and that bothers her because Max has a big brain and big brains need variety. plus, she's seen Max cook and it is...a time

so, y'know. a tray of lasagna with homemade pasta and tomato sauce made from scratch occasionally appears on Max's counter. maybe fruit salad. even just like maruchan packet chicken ramen but with added touches like green onion and an egg.

all of it tastes fucking amazing. yet Max feels kinda guilty, that Amanda is fussing over her like this ("i should start cooking for myself," she thinks as she slurps down the best ramen she's had in years). but Amanda shuts that shit down so quick because this is literally just how she shows affection. Max is unreachable when she's really zoned-in, so this is her way of doing stuff for her without bothering her so EAT THE DAMN FOOD, MAX

and Max can't really cook. like, her idea of spicing something up is dousing it in hot sauce. but she wants to do something for Amanda so maybe one day Amanda walks into her house with whatever food she brought that day and there's a simple grilled cheese with white american cheese on it. and a note beside it that's like "for Amanda :)"

is it slightly burnt? yeah, but Amanda eats the whole thing and maybe she cries a lil bit while eating because it's not often people cook for her back and to have Max do it is just so

“OK Mr. Omega lemme go get some painkillers for you and then you can be on your way!” The doctor says as he puts away the medical supplies. “Great, thank you doctor” Kenny says tiredly as the doctor leaves the room. He lays down on the medical table and lets out a sigh of relief. He did it… he actually won. He won his first match after being out for a year when he thought he'd never wrestle again. Sure his shoulder is acting up and his face is covered in blood but it's worth it knowing he can still do this.

He just wished he could spend this moment with his special someone. He was interrupted by his thoughts when he heard a knock at the door. “Come in but don't attack me!” Kenny says as he continues looking at the ceiling. He hears the footsteps walk towards him and feels a hand gently touching his shoulder. “You've always said that line and yet it always makes me laugh” the voice said with a small laugh. Kenny sits up and is surprised to see his wish has been answered.

There stands Matt Jackson with his ring gear on, hair down and messy and wearing his pearl necklace and earrings. “M-Matt? What are you still doing here?” Kenny asks, causing Matt to laugh again. “I saw your match and I wanted to check on you like I always did when we came here” Matt says as he sits next to Kenny. “I thought you didn't care about me anymore?” Kenny asks sadly, turning Matt's smile to a frown. Matt leans forwards and gently kisses Kenny. He feels Matt grab his face and wipe the tears that Kenny didn't know he was shedding.

He desperately wants to touch Matt back but he doesn't know if that's ok considering everything that's happened between them. When they part, Matt looks at him and smiles. “Let's get that blood off of you ok?” Matt asks nicely. “O-Ok” Kenny says with a blush. Matt gets off the table and grabs a towel from the cabinet and wets it. He sits back down next to Kenny and starts wiping the blood off his face. “You know you don't have to do this right?” Kenny asks, causing Matt to sigh. “It's the least I could do considering everything that's happened between us” Matt says truthfully.

“I'm sorry for hurting you like that” Kenny apologizes as he looks into Matt's eyes. “I'm sorry for hurting you right back and making things worse” Matt apologizes as well. “We've seriously fucked each other up over the years haven't we?” Kenny asks with a laugh. “Yes, but we always came back to each other because we care about each other” Matt explains as he continues cleaning Kenny. “So you do care about me?” Kenny asks hopefully. “I thought kissing you solidified that?” Matt asks with a giggle.

“Well, maybe I need another one just so it'll fully sink in” Kenny says with a cheeky grin. Matt just rolls his eyes as he kisses Kenny again. Kenny still doesn't touch Matt, which the other man finally notices. “You haven't been touching me, why?” Matt asks, causing Kenny to look away from him. “I didn't know if it was ok if you think about everything we did to each other” Kenny says anxiously as his hands start to shake. “Kenny look at me” Matt says as he puts aside the rag and grabs Kenny's hands, catching the older man's attention.

“The past is in the past and despite all the attacks, betrayals and miscommunication, I think we both deserve to be happy for once and give this another shot don't you?” Matt asks truthfully, causing Kenny to cry again. With trembling hands, Kenny grabbed Matt's waist and kissed him for a third time. It felt so good to be able to do this again with Matt. He laid back down while holding Matt. When they parted, they both were blushing messes. “I love you so much Matt” Kenny says through tears.

“I love you too Kenny” Matt says affectionately. Kenny reached his hand up to play with Matt's pearl earring. “Pearls huh? Who'd known you'd look beautiful in them?” Kenny asks affectionately, causing Matt to blush. “Who'd known you'd look beautiful when you finally stopped dying your hair and let the gray shine through?” Matt asks sweetly as he cards his fingers through Kenny's brunette hair, smiling when he sees some gray strands in Kenny's mane.

“I think that's because I've had a succubus sucking the life out of me for the past fifteen years” Kenny says with a laugh, causing Matt to gasp. “Are you seriously blaming me for that?” Matt asks with a pout. “What else explains you looking like a cute little pearl huh?” Kenny asks with a smirk. “You're gonna pay for that pun angel” Matt says as he kisses Kenny yet again. Kenny takes control this time as he adds his tongue into the mix, making Matt moan.

He moves his hands down to Matt's ring gear and pulls down his pants, exposing his new boyfriend's bubbly ass. He feels around and notices that Matt went commando underneath his ring gear. He grabs Matt's plump cheeks with both hands, making Matt whimper in the process. “You're such a naughty girl Mattie” Kenny says seductively as he feels himself get a little hard. “God, I missed this” Matt says as he starts to grind against Kenny's erection.

They were gonna go further until they heard someone open the door. “Hey Matt! What's taking so long… Oh my god!” Nick says as he enters the room. “Dammit Nick I told you to wait in the car!” Matt says embarrassingly as he shoves his face into Kenny's chest. “Hi Nick” Kenny says awkwardly with a small wave. “Are you guys back together for good?” Nick asks, skipping right to the main question. “Yeah, we're back” Kenny answers with Matt shyly nodding in response.

“Good, I'll give you guys twenty minutes to finish whatever the hell this is and then we're going to a noodle place ok?” Nick asks, both men nodding in response. After Nick leaves, Matt lets out an embarrassed sigh. “That was embarrassing” Matt says, causing Kenny to laugh. “I thought it was pretty funny” Kenny says with a smirk, causing Matt to glare at him. “God, you're lucky I love you” Matt says as he continues what he was doing before Nick had disturbed them, causing Kenny to groan. Yup, they're definitely back.

my favourite binggeyuan dynamic is when post PIDW binghe is so fucking depressed but slowly gains a little bit more light the more time he spends with shen yuan in the modern world. Cue in clingy, soft spoken, but still feral Bingge with a sprinkle of abandonment issues.

and here comes shen yuan, the 1# comphet, who still has a kind but annoying heart, stubborn yet gentle, and so very very excited that he gets the protagonist as his roommate!!

he'll come to find binghe's flaws and make the former demon emperor get some much needed therapy and give him some much needed COMPLETELY PLATONIC affection!!
