Seong Taehoon x Reader: when did you know you liked me?
Wasn't planning on one for this idiot, but for 'raccoon anon' because you seem to be having a rough time rn. Jake Kim | Samuel Seo
Honestly.
How did Seong Taehoon get a partner that is so cringe and cheesy? When did he realise he liked you? Why would you even ask him that without expecting a teasing remark.
And then you push him more and get rewarded with a (light) kick on the ass. (He should have known that it would have led to you sulking and ignoring him. Oops. That's his bad.)
Seriously though.
Does he really need to recall every single moment he has felt something for you? Isn't it enough that he loves you? Isn't it enough that you make him feel so mushy that even Snapper and Hobin think they can get away with talking back to him when you're around?
That should be proof enough of his feelings for you.
What you digging up the past for?
Taehoon wonders if you'd be disappointed that he didn't see you differently for a long time. That he saw you as his friend first and foremost.
Someone that became a constant in his life.
Who treated him with kindness from the start. A curious sort of kindness, lined with blunt words and a bold attitude, packaged up in a way that Taehoon would be able to accept.
Who he couldn't help but give you a little kindness back too.
Taehoon is still sharp and prickly and oh so quick to anger, but some of his edges are smoothed. Sanded down and refined over time with you and for you.
And then-
A passing offhand comment from Rumi on how cute you are, which he instantly dismissed at first. Sure, Taehoon has eyes. He knows you're cute. Cute like puppies and kittens are cute.
But like a veil lifted from his head, he realised you're not just cute. Especially when Yeonwoo, in Taehoon's mind, all too eagerly agreed.
It was a day spent just hanging around in the company house during summer break. Where it was too hot and hazy to do anything other than sitting around. Messing around and letting the sound of chatter drift around him as he fiddles on his phone.
At Yeonwoo's agreement, Taehoon's leg immediately started twitching and his mood soured.
Quick tempered at the best time, now suddenly explosive for no real reason.
Maybe it was that exact moment when he realised that there is something to this. That he liked you as more than a friend.
Taehoon considers this as he watches you pouting next to him, arms folded tight and determined not to look at him.
"Hey idiot," he calls but you don't respond.
So he tells you.
Tells you Rumi's comment, and he tells you the date. Nothing more, nothing less. Though he does also tells you that four eyed bastard's comment too.
Your mood lifts. Until finally, you turn towards him, body now relaxed and easy, smile bright, and say he's adorable.
Taehoon is Taehoon. Romance never lasts long.
He also tells you to "stop being cringe", "weren't you just mad a second ago", "why you throwing yourself at me now".
Yet his cheeks tinges with pink.
(If you ever ask him, he will forever deny the way he blushed as he told you the moment everything changed.)

First Year: The Hogwarts Express
Chapter List WC: 1,778
31st August, 1991, 9:47PM
"But mum, do I have to go?" Eleven year old Violet asked for the tenth time that hour. She held a letter in her small hands, pale yellow paper against her tanned ivory skin.
She glanced at it as her mother gave her a warm smile, "We've been over this, dear. You don't have to do anything, but your father and I think you should go."
Violet sighed, an automatic response to her mother's rehearsed response. They'd had this conversation every day for the past month, ever since the letter showed up, courtesy of a beautiful brown barn owl.
As Violet curled up under her blanket, her mother tucking her into bed, she set the letter on her bedside table, leaving it open so she could reread it. No matter that she'd read it several times a day every day, she still wasn't entirely convinced it was real.
To: Ms. Violet Ellis
Dear Ms. Ellis,
We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
Students shall be required to report to the Chamber of Reception upon arrival, the dates of which shall be duly advised.
Please ensure that the utmost attention be made to the list of requirements attached herewith.
We very much look forward to receiving you as part of the new generation of Hogwarts' heritage.
Yours sincerely, 𝒫𝓇𝑜𝒻 𝑀𝒸𝒢𝑜𝓃𝒶𝑔𝒶𝓁𝓁
Professor McGonagall
━━━━━━⊱༻ ༺⊰━━━━━━
13th August, 1991, early morning
It was all very confusing at first. The "list of requirements" attached to Violet's acceptance letter made absolutely no sense. She could reason with robes, but dragon hide gloves? A pointed hat? A wand?! And it only got stranger. Books on magic, on spells and magical herbs and fantastic beasts? She truly thought she'd lost her mind.
Also enclosed was the name of a place, "Leaky Cauldron". Neither her mother or father knew of the place, so it took some searching for the family of three to find it. And when they did, it only proved to be more concerning. Violet could see it, clear as day, but neither of her parents could. They could see the music shop to one side, and the bookshop on the other, but not the pub sitting in-between.
"It must be a magical place. For witches and wizards only," She tried to reason.
She led her family inside, where the gentleman behind the bar took pity on them and explained that yes, in simple terms, it was a magical pub. Muggles, or non-magic folk, couldn't see it, until they were led inside by a person with magic. He then had another man lead them outside to a small back courtyard, where he took out a wand- a wand!- and tapped on a brick in the wall, where a doorway then opened.
The family walked through, feeling sorely out of place. They wore plain clothes, normal clothes to them, simple jeans and t-shirts. But everyone around them, from children to adults, were people in long, billowing robes, slacks or skirts, and dress shirts.
It took nearly the whole day for Violet to collect the things on her list, including several books, magical items, and her very own wand. Ollivander had been very kind when helping her find her wand.
"The wand chooses the witch or wizard, Ms. Ellis." He explained as he continued handing her wand after wand. Some had no response to her flicking it through the air, while others gave over small explosions of sparks. The final wand she tried gave off a brilliant light, almost as if it were happy to be chosen.
"Ah, yes!" Ollivander exclaimed, as if he'd known all along this was the right wand, "Willow wood with a phoenix core, twelve and three-quarters length."
Violet of course had no clue what any of it meant, but she was overwhelmed by the day's events and proof of magic, so she just smiled and nodded.
━━━━━━⊱༻ ༺⊰━━━━━━
1st September, 1991, morning
"Platform Nine and Three-Quarters? Surely that's a mistake!" Violet's father muttered as the family walked through the train station. They stopped between the pillars of platforms Nine and Ten.
"Maybe it's more magic, dear?" Her mother asked, "Surely there's some explanation."
Violet was about to suggest they ask someone, when the strangest thing happened. Someone walked out of the pillar. The very large, very brick pillar of platform Nine.
"Look! Did you see that?!" She exclaimed, pointing at the wall. The person, no, people, who had walked out were talking quietly. It appeared to be a mother, father, and little girl. All with very bright orange hair.
"Oh! Well, I guess... We just, walk through the wall?" Violet's father was dumbfounded. Magic was so entirely new to him that he wasn't sure what to believe anymore.
Violet took off at a sprint, her heart pounding as she neared the wall.
'What if it doesn't work?' The thought was fleeting before she met the wall, the world going black for a moment before she entered the platform. Her parents were right behind her, pushing along the cart with all her belongings that she'd forgotten behind in her haste, but she paid them no mind.
There were more people in robes and formal attire, hugging and waving at the kids climbing aboard the train. It was an old steam engine train, in faded shades of red and black.
Her mother set a gentle hand on her shoulder, "I think this is where we leave you, Violet."
"What?" She turned towards her parents, "Oh, right..." She blinked back tears, the realization that this was all very real. That she'd be going to a new school, far away from home, where she didn't know anyone.
"Well only be a phone call away, okay?" Her mother hugged her tight, then her father, "Try to have fun, alright? Make some friends, learn some magic!"
Violet nodded, staring at her parents. She almost started crying fully when she realized her parents eyes were full of tears. Her mothers blue, her fathers brown, both shining with unshed tears. So she blocked away her own tears, her green eyes shining as she put on a brave face.
Before she could respond, the train whistle sounded. She grabbed her luggage and rushed towards the train, stopping a moment on the stairs to smile back at her parents, before disappearing on board.
▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔▔
The train was full. All of the compartments were full of kids and teens. Some wore normal 'muggle' clothing, while others wore what she assumed to be Hogwarts uniforms.
She walked slowly towards the back of the train, squeezing between people to find an empty seat. The only compartment not full was in the back, with only two people in it.
She knocked on the closed door before entering, "Hi. Can I sit with you guys? Everywhere else is full."
The two boys stared at her before nodding. She smiled shyly, turning to put her luggage away before sitting across from them.
They sat quietly a moment, staring awkwardly. Violet tucked her hair behind her ear, the brunette strands falling out of the ponytail.
"I'm Violet. What're your names?"
"I'm Ron, this is Harry." The boy on the left spoke. Violet took in his appearance- bright orange hair, round face, wide eyes, a silly smile, and semi-formal clothes. She wondered briefly if the family she saw exiting the platform was his family.
The other boy, who must be Harry, looked a little starstruck. With unruly black hair, wide green eyes, round framed glasses, and muggle clothes, he looked out of place. Which, Violet supposed, she did too.
A knock at the door pulled their attention to the older woman, "Anything from the trolley dears?"
Violet pulled out the few coins she had left from Diagon Alley and sadly shook her head.
Ron replied glumly, holding up a bag of food, "No thanks, I'm all set."
Harry looked between the two, then pulled out a large handful of coins. "We'll take the lot!"
A few minutes later, the three had spread out the selection of candy and snacks Harry bought. Ron explained the different selections, from Chocolate Frogs, to Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans.
They sat talking and eating candy, having quickly become good friends.
"This is Scabbers, by the way." Ron explained as a giant rat crawled onto his lap and into an empty box, "Pathetic, isn't he?"
"Just a little..." Harry agreed.
"Fred gave me a spell to turn him yellow. Want to see?"
"Yeah!" Harry and Violet exclaimed.
As Ron pulled out his wand, a girl appeared in the doorway. She looked around the compartment, eyeing the three kids. She had to be their age, with her bushy brown hair, brown eyes, and proper Hogwarts uniform.
Her eyes continued to dart around as she asked, "Has anyone seen a toad? A boy named Neville has lost one."
Ron was the only one to respond before she turned her nose up at the trio, staring at Ron, "Oh, are you doing magic? Let's see then!"
Ron cleared his throat loudly, "Sunshine, daisies, butter-mellow, turn this stupid fat rat yellow!"
A yellow light emitted from the end of his wand before the empty box the rat was in flew towards the floor. The rat remained unchanged. Ron shrugged, Harry and Violet returned the gesture.
"Are you sure that's a real spell?" The girl asked haughtily, "Well, it's not very good, is it?"
The trio shared a 'can you believe this girl?' look as she continued, "Of course, I've only tried a few simple spells myself, but they've all worked for me!" She marched into the compartment, sitting to Violet's right, across from Harry.
The girl pulled out her wand and pointed it at Harry's face, "For example, Oculus Reparo. That's better, isn't it?"
Harry flinched back as the tape on the bridge of his glasses flew off and disappeared in a puff of smoke. They all examined his glasses, which had previously been broken but were now fixed.
"Holy cricket!" The girl gasped, "You're Harry Potter! I'm Hermione Granger. And... You are?"
"Ron Weasley."
Hermione made a face at Ron, who had spoken with a mouth full of candy, "Pleasure."
"Violet Ellis."
"You'd three better change into your robes. I expect we'll be arriving soon." Hermione got up and walked out, turning back at the last second, staring at Ron, "You've got dirt on your nose, by the way. Did you know?"
Ron reached up and wiped at the side of his nose.
"Well, alright then." Violet sighed, exhausted from the interaction, despite having barely said three words. She got up and pulled her uniform from her trunk, including a grey skirt, white dress shirt, grey sweater vest, black tie, and black robe. They were quite plain compared to some of the uniforms the older kids were wearing, which had colored patches and ties.
"I'll go change in the toilet. Please be dressed when I come back." She laughed softly as she left, closing the door behind her.

The Mechanics of Magic
Read along with me :D - Chapter 12
Chapter 1 | Previous Chapter | Next Chapter
We meet Aiden again!
(I'm sheduling these posts to go out overnight, so I'll add the full chapter links tomorrow)
Chapter 12 is below the cut:
The words in the heavy textbook blurred as Tamara’s body gave in to fatigue. Her magelight flickered from where it floated above the wide, heavy table, and she sent out another burst of focussed energy to steady it. Even the shield that she always ran against her skin had become too much effort to maintain. Long empty, the cosy isolation of her favourite corner of the palace library had kept her there far longer than intended, but getting up to leave seemed more exhausting that simply curling up in her chair.
With a yawn, Tamara closed the book and added it to her growing pile of discarded tomes. Her first assignment in this role and she was getting nowhere. Worse, she had promised Alex she would find answers. After speaking with him properly, Tamara was confident her instincts in Golebach were correct; the explosion was an accident, and they deserved to go home. To do so, however, she would need proof.
An echoing creak suddenly jolted her awake. Tamara snapped her head up, but a row of bookcases blocked her view of the library’s tall double doors. After a moment, the bright glare of an electric bulb flared into life near the entrance, causing her to squint as the shelves turned to silhouette.
Pins and needles shot down her legs as she unfurled them. Ignoring the discomfort, Tamara let her magelight die and headed towards the entrance, mindful of the sound of her steps on the hardwood floor. She hadn’t expected anyone to arrive at this time of night, and curiosity outweighed her desire to avoid an interaction.
The entrance to the library was an open foyer with a wide sweeping staircase that led to further rows of shelves. A man came into view as Tamara approached, standing in front of the framed map that showed the layout of the two floors. Tall and slim, there was a sheen of red to his slick, brown hair, and for a second Tamara thought it was Morgan. Then he turned towards her, and she realised her error.
“Who’s there?”
Aiden Heliodor’s smooth voice sounded exceptionally confident for someone caught off guard in the dark. Tamara stepped into the open, deciding that that any chance she had of escaping notice had long passed. Though she had only met him briefly, Aiden had seemed friendly enough in Morgan’s office and she wondered if he would remember her.
“Tamara?” A smile broke across his handsome features. “Apologies if I startled you; I didn’t anticipate company this evening.” His words sounded unnaturally loud in the towering space, the bright light from the chandelier above the entrance spotlighting them as the rows of bookcases faded into shadow.
“Please, don’t worry.” She returned the smile, suddenly conscious of her crumpled clothes and obvious exhaustion. “I really should have left hours ago.” For his part Aiden showed no sign of weariness, his crisp shirt and grey blazer as fresh as his face. At least he didn’t seem offended by her approach.
“Again, then, your timing has proved lucky for me.” Aiden crossed the space towards her. There was an amused spark in his eyes, and Tamara looked away in embarrassment as she remembered her intrusion into Morgan’s office. “I’m thrilled we finally have a chance to speak properly.”
“Oh.” She heard the tinge of wariness in her own voice. People weren’t usually so pleased to see her and she wondered what motive Aiden had for his flattering words. “It’s nice to talk to you again as well.” She pulled her jacket tight against her chest. It seemed colder here, away from the warmth she had cultivated in her corner, and she briefly considered casting a spell for heat.
“It’s a shame we didn’t meet sooner. If you were still in Vailberg, I would have been delighted to add such a prominent magical researcher to my team. I admit, my loss is clearly Ardveld’s gain.”
Relief flooded through her at the mention of work and Tamara latched onto the subject, having feared that there might have been some other reason for his interest. Physically, Aiden posed no threat, but even she wasn’t naïve enough to discount his position.
“Are you here regarding your own research?” Her hurried question saved her from dwelling further on his praise. “The librarians have all left for the evening, but I might be able to help you find what you’re looking for. I’ve spent a lot of time in here since coming to Ardveld.”
“Perhaps you can.” Aiden studied her, his amusement replaced by a passing displeasure that vanished as swiftly as she noticed it. “It has been some time since my last visit and there is only so much I am able to source remotely. I’m looking for unusual symbols, very old and uniquely Ardveldian.”
Back at the university, Tamara had rarely paid attention to anything outside her own field of magical efficiency. Still, she should have remembered Aiden’s own prowess as a researcher. Studying magic without any power of his own, the academic achievements of Vailberg’s prince were exceptional. His business, Sunstone Enterprises, was even successful enough to have financed the projects of many of Tamara’s contemporaries at its private research centre.
“Could you tell me what the symbols look like?” Now that she thought about it, she might have seen some relevant texts during her frantic search for information on ground magic. Half of the Ardveldian history section must be stacked at her desk.
“I can do one better.” White teeth flashed as his smile returned, and Tamara caught the perfumed scent of Aiden’s clothes as he moved closer. “Though you will have to forgive me for boring you with a work discussion.” He reached into the inner pocket of his blazer and pulled out a small, leather-bound notebook, marked throughout with coloured tabs.
As he flipped the little book open, Tamara saw that each page held a hand drawn symbol, precisely inscribed, with notes below that seemed to explain its meaning or purpose. Each symbol followed a similar pattern, fine lines that ended with circles, and Tamara was sure she had seen something similar before.
“They relate to the original magic of Ardveld,” Aiden explained. “Perhaps used side by side with what we know today as passive spells. Or even used in their place.” He traced a finger over the symbol on the open page. “I am yet to determine their full capabilities, but I can assure you, nothing anyone else is researching right now could come close to the importance of what I am about to discover.”
Tamara caught her breath as Aiden looked down at her, the blue of his eyes almost black in the shadowed light. Arrogant, perhaps, but there was a passion to his words that made her believe them.
“I think I might have seen a symbol like this before.” She remembered now. “I have the book out already. Just over at my table.”
There was a dull snap as Aiden closed the notebook and slid it back into his inner pocket. With it went the intensity of the moment, and Tamara’s breathing returned to normal. Turning away, she jumped at the touch of his hand on her back.
“Please, lead on.” Aiden was uncomfortably close, and she darted forward, inciting a chuckle from him in response.
Without her magelight, the table in the corner was dark. Tamara conjured a new one, catching Aiden watching her as she focused her will on the growing light.
“I think there was something in this one. Typical it would be at the bottom…” Tamara began to disassemble her book tower, feeling some more of the tension ease now she had something to occupy her hands.
“Deep Ardveldian history. Not something I’d expect anyone else to be reading at three in the morning.” Aiden gave a conspiratorial wink as she handed the book across. “Now I regret not recruiting you even more.”
“Three! I hadn’t realised it was so late,” Tamara exclaimed. No wonder she had been flagging.
Aiden smiled. “Time gets away from us all when we’re having fun. Will I be seeing you at the dinner tomorrow evening? Or rather, this evening, considering the time.”
“Oh, yes.” She had been so occupied with Alex and Eira that she had forgotten the formal celebrations were so close. That must be why Aiden was in Ardveld after all.
It was the anniversary of Ardveld’s takeover, and every year the celebratory events spanned two days. The private dinner that Aiden had referenced would host every Ardveldian official, along with many Velbian guests of various degrees of importance. A garden party the day after was open to invited members the public. It wasn’t something that Tamara was particularly looking forward to, though having a friendly face to talk with would help. Hopefully Morgan wouldn’t find the time to ask about her progress on the case. “I’ll definitely be there.”
“Excellent!” Aiden tucked her book under his arm. “In that case, I look forward to more intriguing discussions.”
He turned to walk away just as an idea sparked in Tamara’s mind.
“I— Sorry, I should have asked before…” She scrambled to re-stack her book pile and took a few steps towards him. “Speaking of old Ardveldian magic, I don’t suppose you know much about natural magic, or ground magic maybe? A form of magic that could exist on its own, without a purpose?”
Aiden stopped walking and turned back towards her. “Why do you ask?” There was no charm in his expression this time, and Tamara could tell she had caught his attention.
“It doesn’t make much sense as a concept, I know. Magic is tied to a mage’s life force and I’ve never heard of any other source. It’s just that I’m working on a case and something’s not adding up.” Tamara was regretting mentioning anything already. Saying it all out loud made her discussion with Alex seem even more ridiculous.
Aiden wasn’t amused, though. “Tell me.” The command made her palms prick with sweat.
“There was a magic... incident. In Golebach,” she explained hurriedly. Aiden’s frown was making her feel as though she was being interrogated. “An ancient site was damaged. I spoke to some... some witnesses when I was there, and one said that they had felt a kind of magic coming from the ground.”
Willingly bringing suspected criminals into the security of the palace seemed like a far less sensible course of action now that she was talking to a superior.
“I wouldn’t have given it much thought, but what I saw there couldn’t be explained by a mage acting alone. The force that caused the damage… It removed every passive spell in the vicinity! Residents are also saying there was an earthquake, but Ardveld doesn’t have—”
“Doesn’t have any tectonic activity.” Aiden finished the sentence for her.
“I can’t find anything about magical earthquakes or ground magic anywhere,” Tamara sighed, looking back at the books. “I’m starting to think I was a fool for looking.” She was supposed to be a respected magical researcher, not some conspiracy theorist chasing after the ridiculous invention of an eighteen-year-old.
“This is—” Aiden stopped and Tamara looked back at him, expecting to see disappointment. Instead, his eyes were wide, staring past her. “I didn’t bring it… I’ll have someone fetch it from Vailberg immediately.” He muttered the words to himself, his fist clenched against his chest.
Unsure how to respond to the sudden shift in the tone of their conversation, Tamara watched Aiden’s agitation in silence. Then, suddenly, he clasped one of her hands between his own.
“If you find any more information about this, I want to be the first to know.”
Without her shield, Tamara flinched at the contact. Still, she didn’t pull away. Aiden’s eyes bore into her own until, to her relief, he released her. Then, turning on his heel, he swept out of the library without another word, leaving Tamara once again alone in the echoing silence.

SCP#: AAQ
Code Name: Murder Parasites
Object Class: Safe
Special Containment Procedures: The four samples of SCP-AAQ are kept in separate biohazard canisters and stored within a small biohazard box. The box is kept in a freezer at Site-AC within the Level 2 area of the Biohazard Labs. Any testing with SCP-AAQ must be approved by at least one Level 3 Foundation staff member.
In the event of a containment breach SCP-AAQ is not to be moved from its location. Instead, the motion detection explosive on the freezer containing SCP-AAQ and other dangerous pathogens stored in there, will be activated. the explosive will only be turned off AFTER it’s confirmed the containment breach has been completely delt with.
Description: SCP-AAQ is a parasitic worm like organism capable of infecting the host and filling them with hyper aggression, paranoia, increased survival instincts, and random murderous impulses. SCP-AAQ attaches itself to the posterior cervical area of the spine. Attaching to the spine allows the worm to feed on the numerous chemicals of the brain including acetylcholine, which regulates aggression and improves memory.
SCP-AAQ is anomalous in behavior, in that it has no desire for infection and reproduction like a normal parasite, only self-preservation. Should two SCP-AAQ instances exist in the same body they will kill one another so that the survivor gets the host. Though more often than not this just leads to the complete annihilation of both instances. Ironically, this shows that the best cure to SCP-AAQ infection is to simply become infected with another and have the two kill each other. However, none of this is to say that SCP-AAQ is not infectious, the blood of the host is typically filled with thousands of SCP-AAQ eggs, naturally leading to exposed wound and blood infection.
Any vertebrate can be infected by SCP-AAQ, but humans have proven the most dangerous hosts as they are excellent at hiding their infection due to still retaining human intelligence along with the heightened aggression and paranoia. Surprisingly SCP-AAQ can survive and even thrive in sub-zero temperatures being able to breed and infect faster in such a state, how this is possible is unknown. Testing has shown that unfortunately hot temperatures do nothing to weaken the parasite, though like all living things it hates fire. Its anomalous properties as well as DNA testing has led to the theory that SCP-AAQ is of extraterrestrial origin and thus is why its biology and behavior doesn't match any parasite found on earth.
SCP-AAQ was discovered in 1993, when a research outpost at [data expunged], Alaska went radio silent after strange reports of violence. Due to the environment and high possibility of danger Mobile Task Force Delta-14 “Winter Wonderland” was deployed. However, upon infiltration they encountered Persons of Interest: Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. Please see Addendum X-14 for details.

Addendum X-14
The following is a recording of the four MTF Deta-14 units as they enter the outpost after being transported by a MFWF-13 "Mammoth". All Delta 14 units are armed with temperature nullification suits, bullet-proof armor over it, and Foundation assault rifles, with sample containment cases.
Recording Begins
D1: Alright! Entering the outpost now! Move! Move! Move!
Delta-14 units storm the interior finding all the lights out and no one in sight. D1 through D4 spread out to check the area faster, upon doing so D3 stumbles upon Person of Interest: Fox Mulder standing over a corpse. there is also Person of Interest: Dana Scully and two other civilians.
D3: Shit! All of you, hands up right now!
Dr. Hodge: its him! Shoot him! He's infected!
Agent Mulder: No, I'm not infected! It was one of them that killed him!
D3: All of you shut the fuck up! D1 this is D3, come in! I got multiple civilians here and a dead body. Possibly caused by the anomaly!
D1: Copy that D3, heading your way now.
All four Delta-14 units enter the room and order Dana Scully, Fox Mulder, and the two other civilians to go to the other side of the room. D2 the medic goes over to the body to examine him.
D2: This was a murder, not an anomaly.
Dr. Hodge: Yes, it was Mulder that killed him, shoot him before he kills us.
D4: shut up idiot!
D3: He's not wrong thought it was definitely one of them. Though we have no idea which it was.
D1: We don't have time for a murder mystery, we need to find the anomaly.
Dr. Hodge: I'm telling you Mulder's infected! Kill him!
Agent Mulder: It was one of you! you must have killed him!
D1: All of you shut up! I don't want to hear another word... wait, did you say Mulder?
Fox Mulder and Dana Scully look at one another before Fox Mulder addresses the Delta-14 units.
Agent Mulder: Yeah, that's me, Fox Mulder.
D1: Shit, keep these idiots here, I need to make a call.
D2 and D4 raise their rifles at the four to keep them still while D1 exist the room.
D1: Command this is D1, we got Person of Interest: Fox Mulder here, please advise.
Command: Copy that D1, Fox Mulder is not to be harmed in any way due to his possible connections to Group of Interest: The Syndicate. Additionally, if he has a red-haired woman with him that is Person of Interest: Dana Scully. Ensure that Fox Mulder and Dana Scully do not encounter the anomaly in any way.
D1: Copy that command, D1 out.
D1 then returns to the room.
D1: Alright, Fox Mulder and Dana Scully, I need you both to come with me.
Dr. Hodge: Wait no listen to me he's infected!
D4: How many times do we have to tell you to shut the fuck up?!
Dr. Hodge: God man it you damn FBI agents knew about this didn't you! These military guys are your buddies and they're here to get you out while you cover it all up! Damn all of you!
D4: I said shut up!
D4 hits the Dr. Hodge in the stomach with the butt of his rifle, however upon doing so Dr. Da Silva starts screaming erratically and lunges on him. She attempts to steal his gun, but he easily pushes her off. She tries to get back up but D4 shoots her in the head killing her instantly.
D4: Ugh, what the fuck was wrong with that bitch!
D3: Ugh, what the hell is that?
SCP-AAQ can be seen wiggling out of Dr. Da Silva's forehead where D4 shot her, it thrashes around. Until D2 grabs it with some tweezers, then places it in a containment capsule and into his containment case.
D2: I'm guessing this was the anomaly.
D3: A worm that makes people go berserk? That's new.
Dr. Hodge: you killed her... you killed her without hesitation you fucking monster...
D4: Oh my god shut up! She was trying to kill me, and in case you didn't notice she had a fucking worm in her head!
D2: Uh guys, how do we know they aren't infected?
Agent Scully: We're not, if we were then we would be showing signs of aggression and paranoia by now.
Dr. Hodge: You fucking murders... the government covers up everything with murder...
D4: ... This guy is definingly acting pretty weird.
Agent Mulder: No he's not infected it was only one person who was infected, he couldn't be infected.
Dr. Hodge: Your infected! I know your infected, you have to be!
D4: Better safe than sorry.
D4 then shoots Dr. Hodges in the head, killing him instantly. Dana Scully is horrified by the sight while Fox Mulder remains silent.
D1: Alright that's enough killing. Look around for any other samples and let's get the hell out of here.
Recording Ends
After a few blunders, the Delta-14 units contained samples from the corpses and an infected dog found later. Afterwards Fox Mulder and Dana Scully were escorted out of the outpost and to the nearest airport. After being dropped off, Fox Mulder tried to get answers out of the Delta-14 units, but they ignored his every question and left the area in as fast as they could. Foundation agents disguised as flight attendants boarded the same plane as Fox Mulder and Dana Scully to drug them with Class G Amnestics. The drugs worked on Dana Scully but were of minimal effect on Fox Mulder. This has raised his Watch List level from 2 to 3.
