Here’s all the stuff I got at the Will Wood concert last night!! There wasn’t any photos or videos allowed of the performance so I cant show y’all how it was but here are some highlights/me rambling:

Shayfer James sang ‘Hot To Go’ and everyone cheered really loud lol, Will Wood acknowledged that half of us there were also probably Lemon Demon fans, Will Wood had a REALLY good set list consisting of: Cicada Days, Against The Kitchen Floor, 2econd 2ight 2eer, I/Me/Myself, Blackbox Warrior, Memento Mori, …well better than the alternative, Laplaces Angel, To er is to be human so don’t be one, Skeleton Appreciation Day, and more that I can’t remember.

He was really entertaining that whole time, honestly if he ever went on a tour to do like comedy or something I would go cuz he was that funny. He kept me and my friend’s attention the whole time. It also got super heartfelt a lot during the concert and almost made my friend and I cry a few times.

I’d honestly go again if he ever tours because that was the best concert I’ve gone to. It was so special to me.

Will Wood makes great songs and I think you should listen to some (fanart + music recommendations!)

I've been a regular listener of Will Wood for quite sometime, and with the recent remaster of the normal album, I thought I'd make some art based on the songs. I don't know if that happens to anyone else, but everytime I really like a song, images related to the lyrics appear in my head while I listen, so here goes:

This one is a mix between "euthanasia" (which I liked so much I learned to play it on my guitar so I could sing it anytime I felt sad and need a sweet song) and "tomcat disposables", specifically the "is there cheese in the great beyond?" part. It's also the first time I used crayons and watercolor in the same thing and I think it looks pretty good.

Next up we got these two that complement each other:

"The normal album" is very special to me because not only it is one of my favorite albums of all time (alongside "música de brinquedo" from pato fu) but was also my entrance door to Will Wood's discography, I clearly remember casually finding Laplace's angel on my recommended page on a Saturday afternoon and then listening the whole album in one sitting. So yeah, I like "suburbia overture" enough to make fanart of it.

I think I'm getting the hang of taking pictures of my drawings without bluring and dissaturating them to oblivion too, which is great and very encouraging!
