Oh he deffinately tries. Unfortunately for him, he's stuck with two of the most responsible L1NKs. ("Ravio's not responsible" he helped Veteran raise those kids. He's extremely protective and has an automatic bullshit filter from both that and bargaining)

The amount of times Warriors has just picked him up by the back of his shirt (he weighs absolutely nothing) during that quest is wild.

The thing is though. Despite time being a Little Shit™️ he still has a strong sense of Justice. And he understands that they're there for a job.

That and Ravio threatened to feed him to the chickens

I just listed a bunch of skins that I’ve had lying around my storage for some time now. All ancient ones are 550g and the two modern skins are 600g. Rainbow Days is discounted because I accidentally made it on the wrong f veilspun pose so there is a random strand of hair. Seller is Caecilius, there are a few up from other people.

aside from Sky (patented cryptid) and Dink (because ✨spoilers✨) Wars Is the One we know the least about, except for the fact that he was an orphan and run away from foster with Wind.

Where did Wind and him learn spanish? Were the two of them picked by the faility together or One After the other with some time inbetween where the second One was in a panicked frenzy? Who Is War closest with aside from Wind? Some snippets about his Spark ? Just some completly fandom tidbit?

I think this is the most I’ve written for an ask yet

Wind has Spanish and Greek heratige, Spanish on his mother’s side. He grew up learning both but was entered into the foster system before he learnt either fully. The foster system he was based in was English speaking and didn’t have much for those with a second language so he lost a lot of his knowledge.

Wars would try to help him by getting Wind to teach him what he knew. But if hey got caught they got punished for “impure language”

Eventually Wind’s uncle (one his mother’s side) found out what was happening to Wind (and Wars) and reported the foster home. This put them on the radar for the facility as Wind’s uncle wasn’t able to care for them but he didn’t want them back in foster.

By now the facility was getting success after success with the L1NK project and approached Wind’s uncle with a proposition. He agreed on the terms that there was to be the highest care and caution for the two boys.

Now it’s not uncommon for the two to visit Wind’s uncle every couple of weeks to say hi (of at least when he’s in the city, he travels a lot)

Warriors was deemed “old enough” to have a job while at the foster house as would often be sent on trips to the ships or markets to collect food and supplies. He wasn’t always given enough to pay and was expected to return with everything, even if it required him to steal.

This is where he met Proxi, a street kid who taught him how to steal and hide from security.

He hasn’t seen her since he joined the facility.

The spark that got him his nickname is “call for aid” where he can summon a battalion of small sprites from thin air to help him fight or complete tasks. They take focus to direct and maintain, but he’s getting better at keeping them present when he’s busy. The carers would refer to him as “the one who calls warriors” and it got shortened to Warriors or wars.

Other sprout of questions from the language info incoming.

Twi speaks canine because of a spark,obviously. So do Sky for Bird, Shadow for cat and draconic and Green for "the Earth" (which I am very curious about by the way but it's probably ✨spoiler✨ so don't Hope for much yet).

Others cases however are more unclear and intriguing, both for how the language was learnt and how It even existed in the First place.

Both Legend and ravio know rabbit. Do they only know It because of a Spark? If so, how did they happen to have such similar Sparks? They seem pretty unique, so two different ones having the same effect seems sus:)

Legend knows Mer, and that'sst probably because of a Spark, but how did Wind learn It? Pure stubborness about the Sea being his thing or something else?

Time knows a lot of languages connected to mythical being, so that leads me to suspect that either the Woods he lived in or some of the places he timetravels to were actually Rich in magic and magical creatures, but this cannot be expanded Upon because ✨ spoilers ✨. The reason Hyrule also knows fae can be explained away by her Spark being faery related. But Warriors also knows fae. Once Is chance, two Is Is suspicious but ok, but three different people from different backgrounds and different Sparks Just so happening to know all the language of a supposedly mythical people? Suspicious isn't enough. There /has/ to be a somewhat secret non human community even in the moderna era! the question Is, was It Spark caused? And Is It still unknown to the autorities? (Probably ✨ spoiler ✨ heavy, so don't Need to answer this One, I Just had to dump the theory 😅. Backup question Is, how did Wars learn Fae?)

Last(for now) but not least, how the heck did Wild learn korok and most importantly, horse!?!?!?!? Koroks can turn invisible, so i can ser some sneaking about unknown to the people of the facility, but how did Wild even get the chance to come in contact with a horse? I don't immagine the handlers would be thrilled to let a freshly whiped amnesiac wander about, but he somehow /did/ get the chance to meet a horse and learn the language. How?!?!?!?

Green can speak “earth” in the sense that he can sense the emotions and intent of the earth around him and can give commands or requests. This allows home to predict and cause things from tremors to earthquakes and avalanches.

Veteran was one of the few who came into the project with a spark, a rabbit transformation spark. Because of this Ravio also has a Rabbit spark but his is a “constant mutation spark” that gives him physical features such as ears tail and a bit of a funny face. While Ravio can speak English it’s easier for him to speak in the little noises on a rabbit.

Wind learnt Mer through shanties and ship tales from sailors who had claimed to have met such creatures or were telling tales from myths and legends or warnings. When he then me Veteran they compared his knowledge to what Vet spoke and discovered it was pretty accurate.

Time knows fae via his imitation spark

One of Wild’s sparks allows him to see into the dimensional pocket that the Koroks exist in, it also gives him an understanding and ability to communicate with them. He’s can’t just start speaking in the language but he can’t talk to those who use it.

He’s a horse girl, he’s slowly teaching Time and Twi too.

Side note: not all languages are known before the boys entered the facility, some weren’t learnt until after they became a knight.
