Jack I'm an idiot, why didn't i realize that Qi Ling in L.O.R.D. Critical World is played by Zhang Rishan's actor??!! (probably because I was distracted by Ji Chen being too handsome)

Look being distracted by ji chen and his beautiful hair and big sad eyes is quite frankly the most valid, I understand you anon

Also qi ling is soooooooooooooo babyboy for most of the show, idk if you've watched mystic nine but I feel like he's way more recognisable as that era rishan than sha hai era

He IS! I was going through My Drama List yesterday after having that epiphany, and it's kind of hilarious how much of the cast also has at least one DMBJ adaptation under their belts.
