Me: It's about a detective who faked his death. Years ago, he and his rival were having a big fight, they injured each other and fell into the sea, and he was assumed to be dead... but he's still alive and now he goes around solving mysteries.

Me: Yes, Reichenbach Falls, except if years post-Reichenbach Holmes and Moriarty team up to solve crimes, and Watson is a much younger himbo that Holmes somehow picked up along the way.

I saw a post saying that Boromir looked too scruffy in FotR for a Captain of Gondor, and I tried to move on, but I’m hyperfixating. Has anyone ever solo backpacked? I have. By the end, not only did I look like shit, but by day two I was talking to myself. On another occasion I did fourteen days’ backcountry as the lone woman in a group of twelve men, no showers, no deodorant, and brother, by the end of that we were all EXTREMELY feral. You think we looked like heirs to the throne of anywhere? We were thirteen wolverines in ripstop.

My boy Boromir? Spent FOUR MONTHS in the wilderness! Alone! No roads! High floods! His horse died! I’m amazed he showed up to Imladris wearing clothes, let alone with a decent haircut. I’m fully convinced that he left Gondor looking like Richard Sharpe being presented to the Prince Regent in 1813

Okay that clip in s3 where it cuts to Alex when it's heavily implied that he's been invisible sworded and he's looking out the window whilst Yassen drives is such a badass, beautiful masterpiece of a clip actually.

I never noticed because I was too busy angsting or marvelling at the unsubtleness of the hint 😆

It's serving Yassen and Alex roadtrip fanfiction (maybe I finally noticed and appreciate it because I'm reading of madness and mammals rn which is Yassen Alex road trip heavy af so far lol)
