SO I am writing a fanfic called "The Betrayal of Millicent "Supreme Empress of the Steadfast” Hux" and I am not going to worry too much about editing obsessively hard or about the plot too much and just write it to be silly and have fun as I go. I thought I would post a little bit because I was amused and I'm trying to be a bit braver. It's also nice to share things, I think. I am not sure when it will be done but I am having fun with it. /\ /\ (,,,)(=^__^=)(,,,) **

A ginger cat sat beside his grandfather’s helmet and yawned. He knew the cat. The cat knew him. He hated the cat. The cat hated him.  Its bushy tail curled around the mangled remains like an arm around shoulders. One of the cat's soft white paws rested against one of the eye sockets. The helmet's eyes gleamed with the dim light above it, as if the spirit of Vader was amused. The cat gave Kylo a haughty look. He saw that look every day from someone else he knew and it was infuriating. Kylo’s eyes narrowed. The cat’s eyes narrowed back.  “How did you get in here, Muh….ma… Cat?” Kylo asked slowly, his fists clenched at his sides. He waited, as if the cat would answer back. He couldn’t remember the cat’s name even though he had heard and seen Hux talk about her constantly with others. Something beginning with M. She reminded him of old women with blue rinsed hair, pinching hands and mean eyes. The cat blinked slowly in response and nudged the helmet with its paw so it slid an inch to the side. “Don’t you dare.” Kylo warned, low and dangerous. The cat didn't seem to register the danger, or care. Probably the latter. It was Hux cat, after all. Kylo flicked his hand and moved the helmet back into place sharply with the force. The cat turned its nose up at him. It waited. Kylo drew in a breath. The cat nudged the helmet again.

Kylo never thought he would have a pet cat for a nemesis, but the cat had just made the top of his (admittedly quite lengthy) list. ** We'll see how it goes. xD Maybe I'll finish one. It comes from my brain imagining Millicent bapping Vader's helmet like cats bap cups of water off counters. I am not sure if that has been done before though, but hopefully it's still fun!

Ben can always count on Armitage to pick him off the street when he's hammered and alone. The only problem is, Armitage always takes the opportunity to lecture him about it. Of course, Ben gets sulky, because no one likes being scolded, but maybe his annoying friend has some valid arguments.

After all, he only ever calls him when he's high.

Thinking of writing a kylux au where Kylo was a classically trained ballet dancer who was groomed by Snoke at 17 and is now 24 and an exotic dancer (free of Snoke) and Hux (26) is on the run from an abusive relationship (hitaka) after suffering his domineering father before that. they become roomates. Slowburn hurt/comfort angsty. Would anyone be interested in me writing out this 3am brain thought???

Established Star Wars characters take on entirely new roles while retaining the essence that makes them so beloved. Original characters are woven into the narrative, playing crucial roles in the plot's development. Would such a fanfiction AU capture the interest of readers? What do you think?

I've started writing such a story and having so much fun with it that I really want to put it out there for others to read and enjoy as well!

WIP Wednesday?

@dragonflies-draw-flame Thanks for the tag! I haven't had the time to write a lot lately. This is just something I've been working on, on and off.

[Kylo] kneels next to the cot Hux is lying on and just looks at him for a long moment, willing him to wake up or at least show some - any - kind of reaction. He's almost glad, whe he notices a tiny shiver running down the length of Hux's body. He's cold, which doesn't come as much of a surprise, as their cell is practially freezing. Their captors have not shown them the kindness of leaving blankets or sheets. Nothing that they could use to warm up. So Kylo does the only thing he can think of: He strips out of his cloak, squeezes himself into the narrow space between Hux and the wall, and pulls the thick fabric over the both of them. It isn't particularly warm or comfortable, but when Kylo moulds himself into Hux's side and rests his palm above Hux's sternum, he can feel the steady beat of his heart and the occasional shiver trembling through his narrow frame. If nothing else, it offers him at least a little peace of mind, however little it may be. He lies there with his eyes open, staring at the wall opposite the cot, counting the scratches in the dull grey durasteel until his lids grow heavy and he falls into an uneasy slumber.
