Hey guys! It’s been a while since I posted anything art related and was messing around with some rough poses for my Duchesse Noire design so I decided to post it here. And I have a rough plot of the au she’d be set it so let me know if you’re interested in hearing about it.

Weaver for sure sticks her middle fingers up at the press, whilst draconus stays silent only butting in when he’s needed then leaves

(Weaver is spider kagami btw for those who don’t know!)

Also weavers outfit is a work in progress I’ll post that redesign again soon!

not Chlonette related, but has anyone ever named their own Cat!Chloe as Catalyst? been trying to think of different names for the chlonette verse involving different Kwami.

also I haven't read anything in any wiki so far but is Chloé strictly French or there's some mixed race in either side of the family? thank you in advance!

I haven't worked on this in nearly 2 years, but recently I've had a sudden motivation spike and am planning on bringing it back.

I'm starting by redoing and revamping the current relevant transformations of the characters.

Unfortunately I can't art. I am bad at drawing, so I can't do comic, even though I would love to. So instead I'm doing YouTube videos.

I will write up the summary later. But the idea is That Adrien, Marinette, Nathalie and Gabriel swapped miraculous' as well as roles.

But one thing that I should make clear is that Gabriel isn't really a good guy. When I made the origins episode I was lazy with the backstory on how Nathalie and Gabriel attained the miraculous' but I am going to clear it up at some point.

Some episodes will be discluded because Adrien, even as a villain has different morals than his father. Meaning he won't akumatize his family, friends, or children (so no puppeteer in season 1) I'm also changing some akuma designs up a bit because some really sucked.

Anyway I have a bunch of ideas on the concept. Might eventually redo the original episodes. But for now I'm gonna start on Pharaoh in a little bit.

Akuma class gets character development because I said so. Marinette is not the only one learning lessons, also because I said so. And Love Square isn't gonna exist.

I'm trying again, so hopefully the inconsistency after this long break won't be too bad.

I just redid Nathalie and Adrian's transformation, Gabriel's is next.

More clarification on the Gabriel isn't a good guy thing, originally I didn't have Adrien as a Senti-being, but I changed that when it was made canon. But Gabriel's treatment of Adrien is what pushes him to this extreme. The only reason Gabriel isn't still Hawkmoth in this timeline is because Adrien stole it from him before he found out about the wish and got the idea to terrorize Paris.

Anyway I'll probably link the main ones I made so far.

Scarlett Transformation and Dark Morpho

I came across a really neat post by @sillygoofylittleartist with costume designs for Tiger!Luka and Snake!Juleka, and had a lot of thoughts about that. I was running out of room in the tags, so I’ll put them here.

Juleka would be a really interesting pick for the snake. She’s a very shy and anxious person, and I think that having the ability to reset and try again when she made a mistake would be a relief at first.

Maybe it would build her confidence knowing that she can try again until she gets it right, and no one has to know she messed up. Or maybe it would fill her with doubt, knowing how many tries it took to get it right and seeing the consequences of her mistakes. Especially if her teammates complimented her on how well she was doing, because they wouldn’t know, and she probably wouldn’t tell them much beyond “Well, it took a few resets . . .” Probably one after the other, and initial period of “I can’t be a hero! What am I doing!” followed by a buildup of confidence that slowly turns to self doubt.

I think Sass would be a good partner for her. He’s level headed and wise, and that steady surety would be a good counter to panic spirals. He could help her see that we get the chance to try again and again our whole lives. We’re going to make mistakes, but we also get to learn from them so that we can do better in the future.

Juleka would fidget with her bracelet when she was nervous as a civilian. She would think it was cool that Sass ate whole eggs or whatever and would offer to buy him mice, maybe. He could hide in her hair. Although I doubt she’d be a heavy hitter physically in akuma battles, the attention on her then could be something she’d channel when modeling. If she could tackle a giant robot on live TV dressed as a snake, she could model some outfits.

I might have more thoughts later, but I wanted to get these out. Thanks for reading! 🐍👩‍🎤

I just finished the redesign for Gabriel Agreste in his Cat form. Now I have to decide if I keep the old name or choose a new one before I post it on YouTube.

This is technically his third redesign. But I don't consider the first idea because it looked really really bad.
