As a young girl, Mehak was drawn to fashion and had a spectacular knack for design. Her love for all things fashion made her career path quite apparent. The fact that Mehak designed all her clothes as a child, both western and traditional wear, proved her undying love for the art. She officially ventured into the fashion industry in 2015 and started with a humble team of three at an exhibition; the success of which reassured her aspirations. Mehak launched her label from her home in Mumbai, and a year after, she established an independent studio in her city. This studio is now home to all her stunning creations. Ethnic fusion styles that are having comeback online
Everyone wishes to stand from the crowd and make a name in the fashion game. And when it comes to being in vogue and absolute style, divas from the world of blogging leave no stone unturned. This time we have incorporated unconventional and out of the box fusion style ideas from the diaries of Indian fashion bloggers. Let’s get started and take a look at these mind-boggling fashion ideas
1. Cool culottes are in trend
With winters arriving to hit you in all its glory, culottes are one of the coolest options you have this season. Loose and ending at the knee or right below it, it is a refreshing and stunning change from the usual skin-tight leggings or heavy weight patialas. You can always mix and match in interesting colour combinations as you show off those pretty ankles! Straight cuts are so last season! With this season being all about the perfect balance of fit and flare, cape Kurtas fence the line perfectly between style and comfort. Pair these up with harems or fitted pants, culottes or any sort of bottom wear, and leave a lasting impression. Keep your makeup light and just breeze through the day.
2. Move on from the dupattas
For some of us who are not a big fan of flitty, highly unmanageable dupattas, this fashion season has a loads of options. From the billowy cape to a fitted jacket, you should choose for hands free options and move on from the the dupattas completely. Be it fusion Kutchi kotis, brocade jackets or sequined capes they are ravishing accessory to the traditional salwar kurta and choose to give your attire a classy flair statement look!
3. Get classy with the flowy skirts
It’s time to swap skirts this summer with the salwars. Choose from the gorgeous indigo prints, tie and dye prints, block prints or choose to colour block with monochromes. You cannot possibly go wrong with this one on a casual evening out when comfort and style are your calling.
4. Make a style statement with the jacket style kurtas
Does Kurtas have to imitate a long top? Really? With jacket style Kurtas, you can dazzle with that midriff you have been working on, pick up styles that imitate the Jodhpuri jacket or even a bandhgala. This ethnic androgynous style is perfect for occasions like weddings with its inherent glamour. Pair it up with a chic hairstyle, smoky eyes, nude lips and statement jewellery, and you are ready to rock the show.
5. Dhotis are the talk of the town
The all time favorite Indian wear is having a comeback in fashion again, but this time on gorgeous Indian women. The most light and airy, preferably in cotton, this can be paired with short fusion kurtas or even ethnic tops and boy, doesn’t it look amazing? It is important to keep the top and bottom similar to create a symmetric look and top it off with a stylish ponytail.
6. Frock-style kurtas slay effortlessly
The evergreen and super long anarkalis can be gone for a while now as the shorter frock-style Kurtas take the front stage. These frilly fancies Kurtas are adorable and girly which is perfect for today’s ladies who are looking to make a style statement this season. Pick up ethnic prints and embroideries to match with the traditional theme of a salwar kurta.
7. Shirt-style Kurtas are so chic vibes
One of the most chic statements of the year, the shirt-style Kurtas are trending on top this season. Look effortlessly stylish in these when you pair these up with salwars, palazzo pants or patialas. While these look great in sheer, you can always pick up these in cotton, silk, viscose, etc.

Diwali gift (Lea)
Sanctuary masterlist
AMOW day 8: unexpected kindness
Taglist: @littlespacecastle @whumpymirages @flowersarefreetherapy @amonthofwhump
Lea and Theo get Diwali gifts. Part 1: Lea.
Set on the third day of Diwali.
This fic is Lea-centred, Theo's gift is coming – they were meant to be in the same fic, but this got to 1.5k as it is so I split them up.
1.5k
CWs: BBU, pet whump, recovery whump, past non-con references, conditioning
"Since it's Diwali, we have a present for you both. This is for you Theo, and Lea, this one's yours."
Lea takes the neatly wrapped gift from Mistress Anita and, hands trembling slightly, unties the bow. She feels a pit in her stomach at getting a present, because she remembers what her handler gave her as a Christmas present, what he made her do, but Mistress Anita is watching and she peels back the layers of colourful tissue paper with trepidation.
Inside is a bundle of golden yellow fabric, a woollen shawl, a pair of trainers, and a thin sweater and skirt. Lea picks them up one by one. She's been given clothes as gifts before, but nothing that would cover her so much. She glances up at Mistress Indira. The fabric looks similar to the saris her and Mistress Anita are wearing.
"Thank you, mistress."
"Yours is a sari, Lea," explains Mistress Anita, "and Theo, your outfit is a dhoti kurta. Lea, do you want me to help you put yours on?"
She looks at Theo. His present is also clothes, nothing bad, she doesn't think. He nods at her. He'll be okay with Mistress Indira, then.
"Yes please, mistress."
"Great. Let's go in here." She leads the way into her bedroom, and stands in front of Mistress Anita. "Okay. You put on the top and petticoat, and then we'll drape the sari. I won't look while you change. Tell me when you're done."
Mistress Anita turns her back, and Lea places the rest of the clothes on the bed, pulling on the soft, warm, red sweater and the golden yellow, silky skirt. She has to take off her usual scarf to get the top on and it feels weird, having nothing around her neck at all. She rubs the back of her neck awkwardly, heart racing.
"I'm– I'm finished, mistress."
Mistress Anita turns around. "That's good. Hold the sari this way around"–she picks up the fabric and holds it out–"and tuck it into your petticoat."
Lea does so, and Mistress Anita smiles. "That's good. Let's drape the sari then. If I touch your skin, it's only to sort out the sari, I won't do anything. I promise."
"Yes, mistress."
"Right." Mistress Anita takes up the remaining length of the cloth and starts pleating deftly from the other end.
Lea watches curiously as she drapes it over Lea's left shoulder. Why's Mistress Anita doing this? It feels... weird, to have someone else dress her with such care when it's not sexual. And Mistress Anita said she wouldn't do anything.
Maybe she just likes dressing people up.
She can't, anyway, not like this. Not when Lea's so covered up. It feels weird. She can't help tensing with Mistress Anita so close, but unless she's helping Lea dress just to have fun taking her clothes off (and she wouldn't, she wouldn't), she's not going to hurt her.
Mistress Anita pins the last of the fabric in place and drapes the white shawl around her shoulders, stepping back. "There you go. You look beautiful. Put your shoes on and take a look at yourself."
Lea slips her feet into the white trainers patterned with light gold flowers, and follows Mistress Anita's gesture to stand in front of the full-length mirror.
She sucks in a breath. She looks... good. The sari's edged with red embroidery, matching her top and some of the rainbow-dyed braids dotted amongst the dark ones. She holds her head up high, the gold thread on the shawl sparkling in the lamplight, and an odd warmth spreads through her. She doesn't remember feeling like this the last time she was given a gift of clothes by her handler, and he made her pose and then look at the photos afterwards. This is much more preferable.
But it doesn't show her off.
"Do you like it, sweetheart? The texture's okay?"
"Yes, mistress."
"I'm glad. It looks good on you."
Lea hesitates, but... she's allowed to ask questions here. And she's been given so many treats over the past few days.
"Why– why did you give this to– to me? I'm very– I'm very grateful, but it– it doesn't show me off at all. I'm not– not criticising you," she adds hurriedly, "I just– I just don't understand, mistress."
"I don't want to show you off, Lea. And that doesn't mean I don't like you, it's because your body is yours. I'm not going to force you to do anything with it."
"My body is– is yours, mistress," says Lea, confused. "You– you bought me, I was made for you to– you to use."
"I told you, Lea. I bought you to stop you from being hurt, and because Theo really wanted to see you again. I'm not going to use you the way you've been trained to believe you should be. That wouldn't be right. You can't even consent properly."
"I am an active and enthusiastic participant in fulfilling my owner's desires," recites Lea, and Mistress Anita sighs.
"No, sweetheart. You won't even say my name, and this apartment isn't soundproof. Especially not when you end up in here. You have nightmares about it, sweetheart."
Lea squeaks and claps her hands over her mouth. She woke Mistress Anita up? Mistress Anita knows she was in her room, despite being told to stay in her own? She deserves a punishment for that, a harsh one, she should be bound and gagged at night to keep her in one place and quiet at the very least. She drops to her knees, forehead bent to the floor.
"Sweetheart, hey. Come and sit up here." She obeys gingerly, perching on the edge of the bed, flinching when Mistress Anita reaches out to touch her.
"Easy. Just let me brush the dust off your forehead, that's it." Warily, Lea lets her owner touch her forehead, but all she does is what she said. "Now, what are you stuck on about getting a gift? Has, er, anyone given you one before? What happened?"
Lea closes her eyes. She's not supposed to talk about her training, but it's her owner asking, so that's okay, right? She swallows.
"My– my handler. He– he gave me a set– a set of lingerie for Christmas and– and he took photos– took photos of me in it. To– to share. I thanked him– him properly. I– I was taught that I would only be given presents from my– from my owner so you could use me– use me better, because it's all yours anyway and I– I don't have likes or desires or– or deserve comforts. Except for– for whatever you want to use me for. I like that."
Mistress Anita is silent for a minute and Lea waits with baited breath. It was bad with her handler but Mistress Anita's her owner. So whatever happens at her hands will be fine. Good, even.
If that's the case, why are her hands shaking so much, why's her stomach filled with heavy dread?
"I'm so sorry that happened to you, sweetheart. I think... if I'm right, your main problem with that outfit is that it's more of a gift for you than for me, right?"
"I... yes, mistress." And she's surprised to realise that it's true. That lingerie... that was a gift for her handler, not her. If it had been actually for her, he wouldn't have looked at her so hungrily, forcing a photoshoot that he then shared with everyone, and she wouldn't have had to retreat into her mind so far.
"Right. What if I told you that I like giving you clothes that you're comfortable in? I saw the way you raised your chin when you were looking in the mirror, and I like you becoming more confident in the things you like about yourself. That's traditional Sri Lankan dress, Lea, and I want you to have something that makes you feel like part of the family. Does that make it easier?"
Lea nods, choked. Because this flat might be starting to feel like home, but she hadn't realised Mistress Anita wanted her as part of her family. She hadn't thought an owner ever would, actually, she's there for someone to use and fuck and maybe pretend to romance but definitely discard when they're finished. That's her purpose.
Except Mistress Anita doesn't seem to feel like that at all, she never has, Lea appears to have just panicked. She doesn't know how to feel about that.
"Yes, mistress. I'm– I'm sorry."
"You did nothing wrong, it's okay. D'you want a hug before we go back out to Theo and paati?"
Lea nods, and Mistress Anita wraps her arms around her. She's warm and soft, bangles jangling, and Lea knows where she belongs.
When they go back out to the living room, Theo and Mistress Indira are already there. Theo looks handsome in his new clothes, and for a moment she envies how well he seems to cope with these sorts of situations. It only lasts a moment though, before he smiles at her and she feels so, so warm inside.

Glorious Stree - Picking your Festive Dress Made Easy!
India is the country of festivals. Festival season is the season where everyone goes with an ethnic look whether it is men or women. With a start in the festival season everyone is looking for a perfect dress to enlighten their celebrations. While earlier shopping meant huge carry bags, nowadays, it is more with buying stuff online.
Whether men or women, everyone is fond of getting dressed-up. This festival season makes them more curious about what to wear for the occasion. For women, however, one of the best suggestions for dressing is the Anarkali dress. Anarkali dresses are the trendiest this festival season too. Women are going with anarkali kurti or printed rayon kurti so that they can style it as a fusion of Indian and western wear.
In this pandemic situation, we can buy women kurta & kurtis online without getting ourselves involved with the outer world. Printed kurta with trouser is another most picked up choice for this summer. For day outings, printed kurta can be styled up with palazzo as well. For some professional looks we can style that kurta with pants too, that makes glorious women look more elegant and comfortable.
While Jaipuri kurtis from Jaipur are world famous, Glorious Stree, one of the best kurti manufacturers in Jaipur, has recently started selling their products online too. They are into bulk manufacturing and also selling kurtis across cities via using offline and online platforms. They have a wide range of varieties of different types of kurtis - anarkali kurtis, front slit kurtis, A-line kurtis, peplum kurtis, floor-length kurtis; with an endless variety!

When it all falls down
Guys! I have 69 followers and I couldn’t be happier! Here’s the next chapter of ‘When it all falls down’ and I hope you enjoy it! There are some inspiration links to things I’ve described if you need visual images
Ao3
Story Masterlist
———————————
CHAPTER ONE: Everything I never wanted
The ballroom was lit with torches and shimmering crystal chandeliers. A buffet table lined one wall and the other held a stage with an orchestra. The doors were wide open but only a select few were invited. Those that chose to dance did so with ridged backs, like an invisible knife would stab them at a single misstep. Nobles gathered at tables conversing, smiles plastered onto their painted faces.
Guards dressed in dark navy and dyed leather lined each window and entry. They stood, watching the crowd, surrounding them, prepared and ready. It was dark out, the glass panes showed the opaque inky night.
“The king has yet to arrive to his own party.”
The man next to her snapped his head in her directions, eyes narrowing and his goblet brought up to his pursed lips for a sip. Swallowing, he cleared his throat, “You of all people should know that the king is dead.”
She turned away from the dazzling reception and sent him a smirk. “And you should know that I don’t believe lies.”
Before he could reply, two hands clasped his and the bride’s shoulders, his mothers head appeared between them. “Go dance!” She hissed, pushing them towards the stiffly dancing nobles.
Damian looked at Marinette who shrugged. As husband and wife they walked arm-in-arm to the dance floor, guests scrambled out of their way, an empty space was left for the couple. The two separated and turned to face each other with a bow. Mari picked up her skirts as she strutted, they both circled to their right slowly then to their left until they returned to their starting positions. Damian extended his hand and Marinette, with her free hand accepted it. The two closed the circle until they were standing palm to palm.
Now up close they could better view their partner in dance and life. The prince wore a black kurta pajama with a wrapped button neckline and gold embroidery. The kurta’s buttons were made of diamonds and it’s squared hemline stopped mid-thigh to reveal he wore white cotton pants underneath. His belt consisted of solid gold ovals, embedded with obsidian, opals and an emerald in each centre. A golden crown with another emerald rested on his forehead, it’s intricate moulding wrapped around his skull and the centre piece pointed downwards.
Marinette remembered her tutors teaching her about the Empire. The opals and obsidian represents a new era of the kingdom, it was the royal families signature colours. This was reinforced by their clothes only being at the extremes of the shade spectrum. And at birth each member is given a specific stone to represent their life and role within the kingdom. Lady Talia’s was Tiger’s Eye (quite fitting), and it seems that Damian was blessed with Emerald.
Marinette was dressed similarly to Damian. She wore her own familial colours, like Damian’s birth jewel, Marinette was given her own sigil. When she entered the order and rose through the rank, the elder guardians awarded her with the Ladybug mantle. Her wedding garb (along with all her other clothes) consisted of hues of red and black. Her cheongsam was sleeveless and it’s neck was high. At the nape of the neckline, similar to that of a cape, a translucent blue material stitched with shimmering silver threads trailed down her back. It fluttered as she moved, making her presence look ethereal and that of an Angel.
The main body of the dress was a deep red silk, that hugged her curves and the skirt slowly transitioned to black. The gradient was further detailed with small beads of sparkling black gemstones. It’s petticoat was made of the same translucent blue material and could be seen from a high slit. In the bodice of the dress there was another slit that went down her sternum, the skin of her chest peeking through on occasion.
Her waist length hair usually hung freely down her back unless she was in training, was now tied into a bun by multiple braids. Silver hairpins held the do together and they were inscribed with incantations of protection and luck. Although she was the Miraculous Order’s princess she didn’t wear the headdress they had given her, she felt as though she didn’t deserve it.
Two steps, two steps. Her skirts swished with movement, the noise of the clicking beads filled her ears. The two were the focus of the entire party, as it should be due to the fact that this was their wedding reception. The violins high pitched cry signified the climax of their dance, Damian held his arm out and spun her before drawing her back into his embrace. This dance, much like their marriage was nothing more than an obligation to their clans.
As the music died down, the young couple were ushered into their new living quarters. The room was moderately sized and minimalistic style of furnishing, coloured a deep blue with gold trimming. Other than the front door, there were 3 others leading out of the room. The first being next to a curtained window, it lead to a balcony with granite carved railings. The second lead to the bathroom and the third linked another smaller bed room to theirs. When the couple discovered the smaller room they were confused, but Lady Talia quickly provided an explanation.
The connected room was for their future heirs.
The newlyweds froze at the older woman’s declaration. They struggled to process the depth of her words. Oblivious to the awkward atmosphere she created she swept up her skirts and pranced out of the room, leaving two sets of eyes trailing her figure.
They distracted themselves by unpacking the trunks containing their belongings, neither had much. This was because of being constantly on the move (Marinette) or not being allowed to have materialistic pleasures (Damian). Blue eyes avoided green and vice versa. Once complete they prepared for slumber, but there was one issue to be addressed... the consummation of the marriage.
Tremors shook Damian’s hands at the realisation of what was expected of him. She saw his shaking form, the elders had always complimented her observant nature. He hid his distress poorly. “I can sleep in the other room if that would make you more comfortable my prince.” Her soft voice was sincere and free from any jest that it held from earlier this evening.
He looked towards her, his exterior hardening, protecting himself against this stranger. “No.” He gruffly replied, “I’ll take the other room.” A smaller room meant less places for enemies to hide. Yes the smaller room would fit him better.
He turned towards the door but her statement halted his movements. “I do not wish to tie you down with these bonds of matrimony. As long as no harm comes to the Order or I, you can do as you please.”
He made no move to turn, only shifting his head to stare back at the small figure that sat upon the too large bed. “Why are you offering this?”
She couldn’t provide him with anything more than a small smile, upon closer inspection sadness was clearly evident within her eyes. “If we cannot marry for love then we should at least marry someone we do not hate.” She said before laying underneath the blankets, her eyes fluttering shut as her head hit the pillow.
For a moment he stayed there, standing; but eventually he made his way into the conjoining room and bedding down for the night. If he had stayed living with his mother he probably would have deemed her as weak and insufficient to be his bride as soon as she joined him at the altar. But his time with his father and siblings had shattered that perspective. Her words repeated within his mind, ‘If we cannot marry for love then we should at least marry someone we do not hate.’ There surely was a hidden meaning but Damian was too exhausted from the day’s events to scrutinise. If that is her wish then he would gladly accommodate it.

Latest Designer Trends in Dresses Available in Mumbai
Fashion is always changing and evolving and so are new trends which are surpassing the old ones only for the latter to come back later. Every year whether it is spring or summer season, there is least one of the old fashion trends make a dazzling comeback and giving us nostalgia of the past fashion. Women have always been a fashion-conscious bunch as none of us have stopped being unique with our clothes and the question comes why should you? You can imagine we even made a fashion statement out of protective masks. That is how much our country adores experimenting with fashion.
Hence Indian ethnic wear at SIONAAH has trends to sweep us off our feet for all types of celebrations. It is time to revamp your wardrobe with the latest and trendy designer dresses available in Mumbai at Sionnah. The latest ethnic fashion trends are waiting for us to revel and explore just as we are waiting for them. So forget all your worries and get ready for the 2021
1. Gorgeous One-Piece Sets
The year 2020 has been all about comfort and convenient. One of the trending latest ethnic trends is the jumpsuit. Jumpsuits are the perfect excuse to give your wedding wardrobe a much-needed indo-western makeover. With lighter fabrics, they are perfect for lounging on the sofa. However, with some embroidery work on the upper side, they will be a perfect festive addition to your closet.
You can sport this look in pastel and light shades with bright motif prints on the top part. You can accessorize this Indian festival clothing look with classy sandals, chic heels, or the tie-up flats. For a more chic look, try combining classic colors like black and gold with a pop of colors. For instance, a black jumpsuit with gold heels and chunky, colorful bracelet is a look to die for.
2. Blushed Palettes and Rosy Shades
What fun is the season without some blush-colored ethnic outfits? With shades of pinks and blues your wardrobe needs ethnic outfits that outshines. However, instead of a baby or pale pink, the trend is for dusty and hot pinks with a splash of fuchsia. What makes these colors really bring the festive mood out is when they are combined with silver or gold threads.
One of the ways to highlight the blushed colours is to wear ethnic dresses with cape sleeves and embroidered work. The lightweight and flowy fabric ethnic designer dresses are the talk of the town. Pair this with a medium-length heel, and you are ready to rock any occasion. If you have a wedding function or even a puja coming up, blushed designer dresses with minimal metallic work are the perfect ethnic dresses of the season
3. Metallic Works are back in the fashion game
Well Yes! Metallic works are surely making comeback this year and that too beautifully! If you thought sequins and metallic prints were a thing of the past, you couldn’t be more wrong. In the upcoming year you will witness lehenga skirts with subtle and delicate metallic prints and blouses and tops with sequin work. You can also expect Kurtas with foil borders to make a comeback this year.
You can sport this look by having a long Kurti with sequin or metallic works. As far as colors are concerned, pretty much every shade works well with metallic colors, but colors like black, marigold, and shades of pink and green will bring out the best.
4. White Hues are talk of the town
Whites are usually not your Indian ethnic wear color, but warmer shades of white are a whole different story. They look subtle, creating a powerful combination that screams chic. Invest in ivory and creamy colored saree this festive season for a subtle look. These hues look best when paired with golden or silver thread work, even simplistic ones. For instance, an ivory short Kurti and skirt with metallic works and foil bordered dupatta is a stylish party and festival clothing.
Yet another way to sport the white hues is through floral designs. Indian ethnic wear online stores have crop tops, maxi skirts, long Kurtas with floral designs on white or ivory fabric. Together with appropriate simple accessories, these will create the ultimate festive look this year. Aside from prints and works, you can also combine whites with bright colors to brighten up your attire like a strappy ivory tunic with mustard yellow dupatta.
6. Short Cute Ravishing Kurtas
Give some modern cuts to your Kurtas because short Kurtas is back in the season. There are so many ways to play this look during the wedding season. You can wear this Indian festival clothing with smart and flowy sharara pants. Alternatively, you can wear them with a plain, block-colored skirt and dupatta. If traditional Kurti is not your cup of tea, then opt for the strappier ones, especially the ones which are cinched at the waist.
7. Be Dramatic with Bold and trendy Sleeves
The retro-favorite dramatic sleeves are surely slaying in 2021 Indian festival clothing. Whether it is cape sleeves or bell sleeves, all kinds of tops, Kurtas, and jackets will have less than subtle sleeves. They are the perfect way to redefine your wardrobe with not much of a spending. For example you can happily pair an old long Kurtas with a long dramatic-sleeve jacket, making it a perfect style statement.
Another way to re-innovate and stay updated with this festive and wedding trend is by adding ultra-long sleeves or equally funky sleeves like balloon sleeves ethnic dresses. Anarkalis and crop tops with bell sleeves, one-shoulder crop tops with extra-long sleeves and tops with cold shoulder sleeves are some of the Indian ethnic wear online stores like SIONNAH have for you. What’s more? You can even add a dramatic flair to your saree blouse sleeve like ruffles.
Indian ethnic fashion trends are constantly evolving and we love everything it has to offer us, upgrading our wardrobes with the latest trends every year. The above mentioned trends are must-haves in your closet to have the ultimate festive experience for the upcoming year. The flowy dramatic sleeves give us some extra jazz from plain arm styles. Similarly, jumpsuits are absolute comfort as we lounge in our homes as well as during parties and functions. Indeed ethnic fashion trends 2021 are all about comfort, comebacks and definitely here to stay.

What would leir and odile be wearing for the majority of the game
hell yeah outfit question, thank you!!
i'm basing the general aesthetic on your typical vague medieval european setting (the og set is medieval Germany, but i really don't wanna be specific) but this is also a fantasy story set in a fantasy land so I say you get much more freedom when it comes to fashion. you can take inspiration for clothing outside of europe, and it won't look out of place here. as for the ROs in particular, there will be 2+ outfits change for both Leir and Odile during the game.
Leir has to wear more formal/impractical attire when at court. the colour scheme will always be based on juniper green and dark gold (those are the colours of the royal family), and their personal style values stylish comfort above all. in official situations they usually wear tight fitting tunics, often layering different pieces and playing with textures. they'll wear either pants or skirts, sometimes capes or similar. there's also a lot of jewellery involved. for Leir's formal wear i tend to take inspiration from both fantasy clothing and modern indian fashion– mostly bridal wear, kurta/lehenga because that’s the level of ‘richness’/decoration! when at the palace but in casual settings they wear tight pants and loose silk shirts (tastefully slutty and ready for a duel) with minimal but still present jewellery because the aesthetic is important. for a big chunk of the story they'll be in the woods with their trusted bow and arrows so obviously practicality is the key. but as a general rule they try to be fashionable in every setting, even when they're dressing simply.
Odile's usual style is full of contradictions. think evil warlock meets woodland fairy and there you have it. almost exclusively black clothing, often with white or silver details. a lot less fashionable than Leir, at least in the typical sense– flowy dresses and skirts that look ripped at the edges are a go-to. flowers or feathers are typically involved, either as accessories or sown into the clothing. Odile mostly practices magic or reads, xyr life is kind of sedentary, so practicality isn't an issue and xyr clothes reflect that. lots of long sleeves/angel sleeves, lots of trails or very long dresses the touch the ground. rarely ever wears shoes. gloves are always on to cover xyr hands. minimal jewellery, and always silver/ white gold/similar. don’t wanna spoil the black swan outfit but you get it.
