 -Do you know what I like about minigolf?- he helps her get out of the car and then checks two or three times to have it closed properly. Some paranoia will follow him forever. Penelope shakes her head, peering at him with that searching look that he finds extremely intriguing. -You'll see soon.- he says, bringing her closer and moving his fingers over her waist. -My arms on your body, hands on your hips, me behind you, in public, while I guide you...- Luke's voice is extremely adept at evoking those images, so much so that the woman makes a considerable effort to keep a little moan.

-I have to expect it was something like that.- she exclaims, pretending to be annoyed. In the meantime, they have reached the entrance. Some couples have already arrived. -From how you talk, you must have already tried this experience with another woman.- she throws it there, randomly. After practically two years of relationship, she doesn't know almost anything about Luke's previous relationships and it's quite strange. -And where would you have read this?- asks his best friend, throwing a fleeting and embarrassed glance at her husband, who reciprocates.

-Why you blush like that?- Emily immediately notices that change of tone. -Will, don't tell me that Henry too...- he winks, seeing JJ turn even redder and glare at Dr. Reid. Then both burst out laughing and the blonde just shruggs her shoulders, neither confirming nor excluding this possibility.

Someone grabs the chief of the BAU by the hips. Emily feels herself being dragged against a solid but at the same time welcoming chest; her nostrils are filled with that perfume that has become practically a drug. -Em, I'd say it would be better off if you would concentrated on the game.- Andrew whispers with his warm voice, causing a thousand shivers down her spine. -My grandfather had been carrying me on the green since I was three, so I don't intend to repeat the figure made at the bowling alley.- he adds, but she is not paying much attention to the content of his words. -That time we joked, but tonight we get serious.- the brunette opens her eyes wide, realizing, if Andrew had been another man, the way she would have answered him. And instead with him...

-Andrew... wow.- she can only say. -I didn't think you were so...- she still has no words. -But strangely I like it.- he seems to appreciate her answer and he abducts her in a short kiss. Another thing she didn't think she would ever do in front of her friends, her family. Not a reserved person as she is.

-Here, another two lovebirds.- Tara says, puffing. -There must be a strange virus around, I've never seen Prentiss like this...- a red spot almost makes her a heart attack. She will also be a physiotherapist and not a federal agent, but she has the same ability to move silently as a feline.

A hand wraps around his arm. -Come on, dear, you talk like an old man.- Krystall says, managing to make him giggle.

-But I am old.- he replies, avoiding at least to say that both are no longer so young. His wife just keeps looking at him. -And that's okay.- the man gives up.

Behind them they hear the noise of the gate being opened. -Excuse the delay, Kristy had a bit of nausea and... - Matt hardly has time to explain that almost all the women present start shouting and jumping for joy.

Penelope, JJ, Emily and Tara speak simultaneously. -Don't tell me!- Kristy just moves her head up and down. -Aaaaaah!- the men exchange meaningful glances, before congratulating in turn with the future father for the fifth time. The wheel of fortune doesn’t seem to turn for Matt and Kristy, who are ranked in last place, not very sorry; Phil and Sammie are beaten by JJ and Will for just 2 more points; Rossi and Krystall put themselves in fourth place, just behind Spencer and Tara, the last a little distracted by the speech of the redhead who still turns in her head; too much regret of Andrew (but not really too much, because Emily promised him a consolation prize) because Luke and Penelope win the game.

-Congratulations, boy.- says Rossi, giving him the prize: a bottle of Italian red wine. -From my parts they say: lucky in love or in the game. You have been both.-

 Penelope puts herself in the same position of Fred Flistone, but avoiding to do the little steps on the tips, then pulls the ball, which begins to travel to the center of the track, slowly, reaching her goal and breaking down all the pins. She jumps for joy and claps her hands too. Luke supports her, still incredulous, but this wasn’t the first shot of his girlfriend, can’t consider it a case, or the beginner's luck. Penelope is really good. -What are the things I don’t know about you yet?- he asks, while their eyes meet. -Do you still have some hidden card in your sleeve?- she perfectly catches the mischievous nuances in his tone and smiles, running her tongue over her lips.

-A whole pack!- she even answers, then both burst out laughing, always without stopping to look each other. An authoritative voice behind them reminds them of the fact that tonight they aren’t alone and should therefore try to behave well.

Leaning a hand on Luke's shoulder, fatherly, and the other to touch Garcia's back, Rossi calls them to order. -You have now finished flirting, you two?- the two lovebirds exchange a look, incredibly managing to remain serious.

Next to Penelope is positioned JJ, never bored by their love scenes. After all, she was the founder of their official fan club. -Yes, you can’t back out right now that we're starting to get serious.- Will nods, supporting his wife.

Samantha, anxious to find out how her boyfriend is doing, now that he can finally walk without any help, decides she has brought too much patience. She wants to start the challenge. As Phil has learned at his expense, she is a slightly competitive girl. -The couple loser pays for the drinks.- she announces then, obtaining the immediate approval of the whole table. But then the attention of all the women present is attracted to a distant point, near the entrance. And soon their respective men understand why.

Emily is walking towards them, and, note to underline, she is not alone. Next to her there is a man who at such distance could easily be mistaken for Morgan. -Is it too late to add us to the big tournament?- she asks, with an uncertain and hopeful smile.

Rossi, being the oldest, decides to take the burden of answering her. -No, of course not.- the face of the head of the BAU is left to go to a relaxing smile. They follow a few minutes in total silence, which gradually becomes more and more embarrassing.

In the end, she finds the courage to speak, but only because the man strokes her back giving her strength. -Cause I'm very bad with the presentations...- she starts. Penelope and Luke exchange a look; they hardly recognize her, they have never seen her so nervous and awkward. -... many of you already know Andrew...- she point to the man, who smiles as a greeting. -...I mean Agent Mendoza.- she corrects herself, but too late.

JJ, of course, recognized him and when she saw them together, she immediately understands. Everyone stares at the brunette.

-Yeah.– she confirms, taking a deep breath. -We have been dating for a few weeks.- she confirm the obvious. It wasn’t so difficult, after all. She feels Andrew's hand grasping her hand, gently and intertwining their fingers.

Penelope makes another leap for happiness. -But it's great!- she's the only one who didn’t even know about the existence of Agent Mendoza. She looks at Luke, how to tell him telepathically that tonight he will have to give her all the details, how he behaved with her on the field, if he has already sensed something... Her boyfriend swallows, presaging the worst.

Matt is approaching to compliment the new couple and takes the opportunity to make fun of what he now considers as his best friend. -You did a miracle, you managed to get those two separated.- everyone laughs.

-Yes, they look like two mussels.- Kristy comments, making start another ring of laughter.

Ignoring everyone else, Penelope approaches Mendoza to introduce herself. -I'm Penelope, even if everyone calls me Garcia.- they shake hands. Of course, Emily told him about her computer friend, the genius of BAU. -I don’t have to remind you that you're a tremendously lucky man, right?- she asks, in a tone that is not entirely joking. -And I'm not saying that just because Emily is my boss!- Andrew nods, while Prentiss blushes dramatically.

After a moment Will, tired as Sam to wait, decides to take the floor. It's already nine o'clock, and the baby-sitter will stay only until eleven o'clock... -So, do we play or not?- he tries to mask his impatience, even if he's not very good at it.

His wife, who knows him perfectly, comes to help him. -Ok, who's the first?- she asks, while the latest arrivals wear the regulatory footwear, Garcia has so much complained at the beginning, because, after all, so many different people weared them... -I would say the "younger" couple.- she decrees. -Your honor, Emily.- she offers her her hand, helping her to get up.

The brunette kills her with her eyes. -Thank you.- she says, then adds something else, in a lower voice, so that only Andrew can hear it. -So, you'll find out that I'm just terrible both in the kitchen and in bowling.- he chuckles, but also gives her a look that makes her feel naked, and not just physically. He bends over to whisper something surely mischievous, from the way she smiles. Reaches the start of the track with the purple ball in hand, the one assigned to their pair and pulls; the sphere travels fast but only breaks down three pins. The second shot, however, is a completely failure.

Then it's Matt turn, the red ball, which on the whole shoot down six pins.

With her green ball, Samantha makes a first strike, glorified by the rest of the girls.

Luke's orange ball hits nine out of ten pins and the second shot is useless.

Krystall is disappointed, because their golden ball hits only four pins.

The last to launch in the first round is JJ, who throws down first two pins and then one, with her blue ball, getting a total of three and going to exchange a five with Emily.

Andrew proves to be much better than his partner and despite this, at the end of the lap, after everyone has pulled ten times, he and Emily arrive penultimate, followed by JJ and Will.

Kristy does more than one strike, showing herself as competitive as Samantha.

Phil throws down only two pins, getting support from Emily and JJ, as well as a kiss of consolation from his girlfriend, however proud of him.

Penelope manages to throw down all her pins, both with strike that with double shots, spare and split. -Finally I discovered the right sport for me!- she comments. -There are also the world competition, you know?- she adds, noting the way in which her boyfriend looks at her. It is the fault of the latter if they arrive just second.

Rossi makes a series of infinite strikes and Will throws down an average of 2-3 pins knocked in turn. JJ cheers him up commenting -Here's why we're perfect for each other.-

The sand that caresses their skin, the water that touches their bare feet. His girl's hair, always longer, tickling his arm. Around them various voices and discourses overlap, yet the only thing he can concentrate on is her regular breathing and the beating of her heart.

With his eyes closed, he feels her intertwining the fingers of their hands. -Have you ever thought that you would have done such a thing?- he bends down then to whisper in her ear, lifts his eyelids in time to see that his breath has caused her goose bumps.

Penelope raises her head to meet his eyes. -No, and you?- she replies with another question, the sweet and romantic tone without any trace of malice.

Luke moves his right hand to her neck. -Only in my most daring dreams.- he comments, snatching a chuckle from her. A hand of her ends on one of her thighs, as they change position, huddling one closer to each other. The tide is going out.

-Today I feel extremely trivial.- he adds with a shrug.

-And that's okay.- he assures her, before pressing his lips to hers.

Not far from the couple, Tara shakes her head, unable to understand the development of the relationship between her two colleagues. There was something between them was immediately clear to her too, but who would have bet that after all this time they could still be there to exchange romantic kisses? -Really, how it's possibile that those two still be in the honeymoon phase?- in fact, she asks, giving voice to her puffs.

His ex-wife, as well as his current partner, giggles, helping him prepare the dishes she cooked with him. -How patience you must have been.- he comments, knowing he is getting another laugh.

Matt is given the task of distributing grilled meat and when it is time to serve Alvez, he stops doubtfully. -Luke, are you sure, no meat for you?- the friend takes a second to answer, not because he is not sure of his choice, but because he exchanges a meaningful look with his girlfriend, and shakes her hand.

-I'm sure.- he says.

 Later, when the sun has long since set, it is again Rossi who takes the floor. -And now that we all have a full belly... what bonfire would it be without a good song all around the fire?- the proposal doesn’t seem to initially arouse the enthusiasm of the group, so Krystall decides to help him.

-Does anyone here know how to play the guitar?- Penelope looks at Luke, because she is, along with Phil (and Sammie) the only one who knows that he had taken a course during high school years... but with poor results, he seems to remember her without speaking.

Fortunately, Spencer thinks of raising his hand. -I can.- he says in fact, getting strange looks, surprises, especially from his best friend.
