An Update

So for those who are somewhat interested. Here's and update about myself and my projects.

Concerning myself...

I'm still very much tired mentally & physically. As I've said, I work multiple jobs & on top of that I have daily migraines (but I wear shades everyday to lessen the pain and symptoms). And I mentioned I'm sort of a handy man around my town mainly for family members. And I do work with my father to help him out as well as work on my own build projects for myself. So I'm pretty busy. Then I have to organize certain things despite migraines messing with my memory. Healthwise, I'm okay but still have trouble sleeping and I try to eat more often since I often forget to eat or just ain't hungry. So I get a bit overwhelmed and stressed and end up ignoring ppl & isolating myself. I still have anxiety and social anxiety too but that's getting better little by litte. I'm learning to properly deal with the stresses and mental triggers. I'm mostly a chill dude so I don't let much bother me anymore like when I was younger.

Regarding my projects...

I have a list of things to do. I have them scheduled, but due to being busy with work so often, I dont alwats meet the deadlines I have planned. Last year didn't go so well and this year hasn't started too well either. But here are some things I have scheduled...

So, that's what I have planned. If I worked less, I could definitely get all of this done. I'll do my best regardless. And I've been debating if I should create my own website or just start a Patreon. I may begin with Patreon then make my own website later so I don't overwork myself. The thing about Patreon tho is that I want to give consistent content of what I believe is good quality. I need to make a profit from my art so I can be more motivated to continue and be more consistent, ya know?

So thats the plan. I didn't even mention the fics submitted to me nor the ones I've written. A lot are actually near ready to post but my anxiety is bugging me. Probably cause I'm overloading myself with too much. But we'll see how things go. I expect to get at least half of my art projects done this year & all of my tumblr posts this year. If I can get more than half of my art projects, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Also, my MEGA folder. It was supposed ro be done last year but some serious stuff happened & I had to get my mind right. Then, things got stressful for me in Jan, Feb, & Mar. I was supposed to post a comic in February, but didn't work on it cause of the stress. So, I'll squeeze in time ro finish my MEGA folder too. It has updated and corrected comics in there of these two specifically.

Dear Mr. Meta,

Apologies for the length of this "ask," but I've got some things to say/ask to you.

I'm new to Tumblr and wish to say Thank you for being a fun and insightful look in the DB franchise with info and arguments I find thought-provoking. While there are posts that I don't entirely agree with (2 people who don't agree on everything, what a twist!), I respect your stances and don't want to add to the large pile of vulgar insults and hot-headed messages I assume you receive constantly. So thanks for being one of my first bloggers that I follow.

Another, but much bigger thank you to you (as well as to other Tumblr people such as Chestnut Island, SweetEscape Artist, etc.) for opening my eyes to the under dog of the DB series: Krillin. I now have a new mad respect for the man that I never would have imagined to come from me. Now realizing the hardships he went through, the power and skills that are overlooked by most fans, and his essential personality to the core group, I can safely say that I am rooting for him more than the Saiyans (not that I hate the Saiyan characters, but now see they hog the character spotlight, considering they are Toei's bread butter)! Furthermore, how have I been so blind to the greatest ship of this series: K18? They are just so well put together and their moments together make my heart flutter. Just a new found respect for aspects and characters I now have.

Finally, my "ask." For my first ever ask, I want it to be fun. Mr. Meta, alongside Krillin, who would you want to team up with him in a hypothetical scenario/movie/series arc but said partner must be a character that is not from Dragon Ball, but instead any other franchise. For example, my dream team up with Krillin is with the mutant who is the best there is as what he does, but what he does isn't very nice: Wolverine. The reason why: Perhaps some intriguing chemistry between the warrior monk and immortal mutant, the possibility of the two sharing their hardships and find comfort that they are still alive despite the lethal and emotional damage that have been inflicted upon them over the course of their lives. But really, it's mostly because I want to see a short hero team up. Wolverine is 3 in taller than Krillin, but it's not that big of a difference; just give me these two short bad asses kicking butt, working together, and one of them mentioning that being taller is overrated. The what if team up can be with anybody, not just Marvel. What is yours? P.S. I hope my ask let's you know that there are individuals who value your opinions and not just bash them. Here's to enjoying Dragon Ball and saying what comes to our minds, rationally of course.

1. Ah, well, thank you. And welcome. Hopefully, you find your time here enjoyable. 2. Yeah, the hyper-focus on the Saiyans can get a bit old at times. Especially in side media now where even some of the weaker known Saiyans are just elevated to god-tier power with the blink of an eye, and the human characters typically only get involved as jokes or to take on throwaway villains that they realistically are far stronger than now. But I’m happy if any of my posts have helped you appreciate these characters more. :) 3. If I absolutely had to choose: Probably Peter Parker. Those two are a lot more alike than people realize, and seeing that come into play and seeing them interact would be interesting. But it’s not really something I’ve given too much thought, tbh. Again, thanks for the kind words.

I had such a weird dream 'last night'.... First I read something about Xenoverse 2 that in Extra DLC Pack 2 there's "a new way you could interact with characters" Yeah, in my dream I kinda shamelessly flirted witch Freeza and Cooler and cuz of that(?) they fought witch each other.

Now it's getting really weird... Their father King Cold appeared in a cowboy outfit and he wanted to sell me a balloon with a 'sex drug' in it. The drug was pink and sparkly...

It never ends... weirdness Here some info again why I think I dreamed it, both "Kuririn" and "Kuriza" are partly based on the pun "kuri", chestnut (most of you know this probably) Yeah... somehow later Krillin accidentally made Freeza pregnant (???) And that's why Kuriza has brownish 'gems' (I call them that) is nice and everything...

Yeah don't ask lol.

I'm unsure what the naming pun was meant to be for Maron (the Bulma clone), but I thought it was a pun on the word "melon." A fruit name pun but also slang for breasts similar to Chi-Chi's name pun.

Maron = melon pun

Marron = chestnut (French)

But it could be a chestnut pun for both. And Idk if there was info about Maron's name pun released by Toei though. Focus was put on Maron's body features like her breast, so I figured her name was a pun on her breast.

Because the "R" & "L" is interchangeable at times when words are translated from Japanese, I sometimes call Maron "Malon."

But, Marron (Krillin's daughter) definetly has a chestnut name-pun like her father.

You know, it seems that Toei doesn't know how to spell the french translation for chestnut correctly because they referred to their Bulma clone as Maron with one R which is incorrect while Toriyama refers to Krillin's daughter as Marron with two R's which is correct. It seems that Toei needs to learn how to spell.

I believe that may have more to do with the romanization of the name than anything else. "Maron" is written as マロン and Krillin's daughter's name, "Marron", is written マーロン and pronounced more like "Maaron". Both translate to "Marron", with the pronunciation and added symbol being used to distinguish them in Japanese (and was actually the root of the "Marron" name pun in the Japanese version of Super). When translating them into English, they simply opted to keep the regular romanized spelling of マロン, "Maron" for the one, and the proper spelling in English and Spanish, "Marron" for Krillin's daughter. (Amusingly, the name pun thus also saw a similar referential change in the Super dub, with the elongated vowel being changed to the "O" and 17 mispronouncing her name as 'Maroon")
