The walk from the Marauder to their quarters is like a funeral procession. Crosshair trails his three brothers - They are still his brothers, aren't they? - and after they enter their quarters, the door slides shut with a finality Crosshair can’t recall ever noticing before.
He crosses the distance to his bunk just like he has after countless other missions, but Wrecker isn’t boisterously recounting the high notes of the mission and he hasn’t carved a hash mark on the wall to commemorate their victory.
And it is a victory, Crosshair decides; he's just unsure why.
He neatly stows his equipment and sets his rifle on the common table, relieved when the heft of it no longer puts demands on his wounded shoulder. He will see to that later, once the others are asleep or absent. For now, he’ll clean his weapon because that’s what he always does. And he will keep Hunter, Tech, and Wrecker in his periphery and he will try not to think too much about why Echo isn’t with them. When he turns to get his cleaning kit, Hunter approaches him. Crosshair straightens and studies Hunter as intently as he is studying him.
“You should let me take a look at that,” Hunter says as he inclines his head toward the singed plastoid at the intersection of Crosshair’s chest plate and right pauldron.
“Nothing to look at.”
Where there might usually have been a dubious smile on Hunter’s face, there isn’t now. There is a tightness around his eyes and something sharp and unyielding there instead.
“I’m fine.” Crosshair’s words come out icily, and they would be convincing if Hunter wasn’t the one listening. But Hunter’s privy to every electromagnetic pulse and vibration, scent, and every other type of sensory input that slips beneath the notice of most. Crosshair has never envied Hunter the intensity of his senses, never wished to know the reek of a battlefield the way Hunter must. But that doesn’t stop Crosshair from cursing Hunter in the privacy of his own mind and loathing him just a little bit for not shutting things out, for not shutting it off. For just knowing.
“Is that why your heart rate just jumped, and why I can smell the stink of infection?”
Damn.
“Leave it alone.”
Crosshair narrows his eyes and focuses on the deep, ceaseless pain, wills it to temper his resolve. He itches to be anywhere but under Hunter’s scrutiny. He traces the tip of his tongue along the backs of his teeth, quelling the urge to reach for a toothpick.
“I need you functional,” Hunter presses as he takes a step closer to Crosshair and reaches toward him.
Crosshair takes a clipped but still-graceful step away from Hunter and scoffs. The derisive noise is louder than he intends and he can feel Tech and Wrecker’s eyes on him. They’re not listening to an argument with interest or waiting to throw their opinions into it. They’re just watching, waiting. The instinctive thing Crosshair has been feeling since Koller lurches into clarity.
He is outnumbered.
“I said leave it alone, Hunter.”
Crosshair can see a minuscule twitch in Hunter’s jawline, and his expression grows harder. Just like it had on Koller before-
Crosshair shakes off the memory and sidesteps Hunter and avoids the temptation to punctuate his disdain by checking Hunter’s shoulder with his own. No use in causing himself more pain.
He wants out of this room, and he wants away from his batch. Hunter grasps Crosshair’s forearm and Crosshair wrenches away. That ignites fresh agony in his shoulder and he sucks in air through his teeth. He reaches for the wound, but stops short and puts his arm back down at his side, straightens, and looks from Hunter to Tech to Wrecker, then back at Hunter, trying to gauge how much weakness he just displayed.
“Don’t touch me,” he says. The threat in his voice grows jagged and brittle with each syllable.
He walks toward the door and the blood rushing in his ears and the hair pricking at the nape of his neck tell him the same cold, clear truth.
You should be running.
Crosshair makes it two steps before he hears Hunter say Wrecker’s name.
“Right,” Wrecker says. There’s eagerness in his tone that’s familiar but wrong and for once Crosshair wishes Wrecker was as slow as some people - idiots mostly - thought he was.
Crosshair makes it another two and a half steps before Wrecker is between him and the door. Silently, Hunter falls into place behind him, and Crosshair can feel him there, the trigger in a trap that is ready to slam shut.
Tech hasn’t moved; he’s watching proceedings, assessing them from behind the yellow lenses of his goggles. Crosshair doesn’t doubt Tech can tell him the precise likelihood he’ll make it out of their quarters, but he doesn’t have to. Crosshair knows it’s laughably slim.
“Get out of my way, Wrecker.”
Wrecker moves his head back and forth and raises his hands, palms outward, ready to catch Crosshair or fight him if it comes to that. Crosshair bends at the knees and flexes his fingers, and he realizes it will come to that.
And he doesn’t know why.
“Enough,” Hunter warns. “Remove your kit. Let us treat the wound. Now. That’s an order.”
An order.
This isn’t a professional disagreement or a fraternal spat. Hunter’s words are absolute and Crosshair feels as though he’s being tracked through the scope of someone else’s rifle. He glances back at Hunter without looking away from Wrecker completely. Hunter’s expression is hard and direct. Expectant. Hunter’s esteem for his own rank is inconvenient at best and unnerving at worst.
Crosshair followed orders every day of his life. He followed them to complete missions, to win. He followed them because it was in his very marrow to do so. Freedom from choice has always been a mercy - though the rest of The Batch would never admit it, not even Tech - but before today, that mercy has never felt like slow suffocation.
When Hunter reaches for his arm again, Crosshair disobeys.
He swings back at Hunter’s head with his elbow. He knows it's a bad move.
Hunter catches his arm easily and twists it behind him. The countermeasure hurts, but it’s not hard enough to be cruel. Maybe Hunter is still in there somewhere after all. Crosshair wants to believe that. He suddenly, desperately needs to believe that, but he contorts in Hunter’s grip and viciously curses as Hunter’s hold tightens.
“What are you doing?” He tries his best to bury his pain and the spike of fear with indignation as he tries to pull away. “Don’t touch me.”
Then Wrecker is there and Hunter hands him off as casually as he would an ammo cartridge.
“We’re going to help you, Crosshair.” It’s the closest thing to patronization Crosshair has ever heard in Wrecker’s voice and he hates it. Lula is lying discarded on the floor, half buried under an old panel that Tech had likely been using for one project or another between missions. The tooka, with her red eyes and forlorn lip lipline, is the only thing in the room that feels familiar.
Crosshair turns away from the doll and futilely tests the constraints of Wrecker’s arms.
“I can help myse-”
“Bring him to the table,” Hunter orders. He’s crouched next to Echo’s bunk searching out the med kit Echo keeps there.
Wrecker nudges Crosshair in that direction, letting him know compliance is a good idea. He digs his heels into the durasteel beneath him and pushes back hard. He may as well be trying to move a wall.
"No," Crosshair says. He can hear the ragged edge of desperation wearing at his own voice as he lunges back toward the door. Wrecker holds him tight.
He tries to crush Wrecker’s instep, but he only catches armor and there’s no indication Wrecker even noticed. He’s only managed to send new pain screaming through his shoulder, but he bites back on the agony and struggles.
It makes no difference.
Crosshair cries out in surprise when Wrecker tugs backward, using his own weight against him. Wrecker keeps him from falling flat on his ass, but panic lances through him when he can’t get his feet beneath him again. His boots stutter pathetically on the floor, but that ceases when Wrecker hauls him up and toward the table.
“No!” He’s struggling now, writhing without regard for how frantic and ineffectual it is. “Let me fucking go!”
With dizzying speed, Wrecker lifts him and hefts him onto the tabletop. The back of Crosshair’s head hits the table. It’s enough force to stun, but not enough to do any harm, and in the fleet seconds it takes Crosshair’s mind to catch up to what’s happened, Wrecker has both of his wrists in one massive hand, pinning them over his sternum. Wrecker’s other hand forces his left leg down by the thigh.
“This outburst is unnecessary,” Tech says as he takes his place on the side opposite Wrecker. There’s something like commiseration in Tech’s words, but there’s callous interest in his eyes.
Crosshair drives his unrestrained knee up toward Tech, but Tech anticipates the attack and catches his leg with quick hands.
“You should cooperate,” Tech grunts. He shoves Crosshair’s leg back down and Crosshair takes petty satisfaction in the disapproval on Tech’s face.
“You should let me go.” Crosshair says, breathless and caustic. Wrecker laughs at that. It’s not booming or jovial. It’s the distant rumble of a storm.
Crosshair bucks beneath their hands, all lean muscle, obscenities and fear. He thrashes harder when Hunter sets the medkit by his head. He looks down at Crosshair, dour but thoughtful.
“Where are you going to go, Crosshair?” he asks as he begins to remove Crosshair’s armor.
Crosshair shouts. Neither the harsh sound nor the rage behind it makes his brothers flinch; it doesn’t make them do anything at all. They all know the answer. By the time Hunter is satisfied with the amount of armor he’s taken away, Crosshair is panting and his limbs are trembling from the strain.
Hunter draws his vibroknife from its sheath and Crosshair’s eyes go wide. He stills and groans involuntarily when he sees the honed, glinting blade in Hunter’s skilled hand.
It’s been cleaned since its last use.
General Bilaba’s padawan had been fast. So fast, Crosshair’s first shot following Hunter’s order had gone wide, and his second one had struck him after it had been deflected back at him by the padawan’s lightsaber. He’d lifted the butt of his blaster rifle to his left shoulder instead of his right and found Hunter in his scope, advancing on Dume. One elegantly efficient move put a burst of crimson on Koller’s snow-covered ground. The roar of the falls had been the only sound.
Crosshair shakes his head and jerks helplessly.
“Shh,” Hunter says without sympathy or warmth. Crosshair is frozen while Hunter cuts away the dark gray underlayer. The blade separates the fabric with awful ease, then Hunter sheaths it without any flourish.
A hypo comes after that. Crosshair tries to flinch away, but it still finds its way into his shoulder, and as the pain abates, Hunter works slowly and methodically, cleaning and dressing and bandaging until he seems satisfied that Crosshair would still be of use to him. To this nascent Empire.
Crosshair’s mind feels slow and his chest feels tight. He doesn’t even have the energy to move after Tech releases his hold on his leg. Tech scans him and shows Hunter with an unconcerned shrug. If Crosshair is on trial, perhaps this small jury has already come to its judgment.
The pressure Wrecker’s been putting on him lets up. When breathing comes more easily, he rolls his head to the side and looks at Echo’s empty bunk.
“Where’s Echo?” He rasps. “Where’s the reg?”
“CT-1409 was in violation of Order 66,” Tech says, as though it explains everything. “But perhaps, with some re-education, you can be salvaged.”
Hunter nods as he packs away Echo’s medkit.
Crosshair doesn’t fight as Wrecker helps him into his bunk.
He curls on his side and drifts.

Whisky - Cannes-winning Film - Movies That Touched Our Culture
Whisky. Most movies have something to do with their titles. This movie has nothing to do with alcoholic beverages or distilleries, and it is certainly not Scottish. So why was this Cannes Film Festival award winner call it 'Whisky"? Amazingly, this film is all about culture. According to the Air Buturian, "There is a moment at the heart of the film when the three of them have a photo taken. Upon being asked to say “whisky” by the photographer.." In Uraguay, saying whisky is like saying cheese in the US. Both words are intertwined into the fabric of their culture. It may surprise you to learn how well this movie did on the critics and awards stage. Firstly, there are only three characters in the entire movie and if you were expecting some whisky-loving, fist-swinging scenes - this is not it. The synopsis made it rather clear. "Jacobo Koller runs a near-derelict sock factory and leads a life of quiet desperation. When his more successful brother Herman announces a surprise visit after many years' absence, Jacobo is desperate to prove he's successful at something and asks his near-mute assistant Marta Acuna to pose as his wife."
How Did Whisky, The 2004 Movie, Fare Before the Critics?
After sweeping the Cannes Film Festival, Whisky went on to win another 19 awards. The critics believed that this movie was one of the best Latin films, loading accolades of all classes including reviews. One famous writer and chief movie critic at the New York Times, Manohla Dargis, said that "the film is a model of the economy both fiscally and narratively, and the kind of work that taps into the mysteries of consciousness, that recounts political detail and a sense of aesthetic proportion —that is, so often missing from American independent cinema." The film received favorite ratings from the top popular media including IMDb 7.1/10, Metacritic 66%, and Rotten Tomatoes 100%. Production, Actors, and Cultural Importance The production of Whisky highlights its cultural importance to Latinos as some of the most important countries assisted in the process. Although it is primarily a Uruguayan comedy, Spain, Argentina, and Germany were equally involved. Directed by Juan Pablo Rebella and Pablo Stoll, the film centered on three characters played by Andrés Pazos, Mirella Pascual, and Jorge Bolan. One commentator on IMDb drew critical comparisons between the characters and the literal socio-politico state of Uruguay. "Whisky" is also a film about Uruguay, represented here in Jacobo's character. This once prosperous country, a stalwart of democracy, nicknamed "the Switzerland of South America", is now a country in dire need of technological updating, of restoration of its architectural treasures, and of serious political planning and execution of its economic and social future, and is paying high stakes for decades of unrealistic labor legislation and the aftermath of a traumatic dictatorship in the 1970s and 1980s. To prepare the future, one must take care of one's past, but also be prepared to bury the past when necessary (like the brothers have to bury their mother). There are no easy solutions. debblyst How much we agree with him or not does not change the beautiful lessons that can be found in the movie. Whisky is undoubtedly one of those films that touch the fabric of our culture, leaving us with truths and questions we must find answers to. Read the full article

Is it Wrong to Eat Your Dog?
Or, a bunch of really interesting thought experiments about morality
Affect, Culture, and Morality, or Is it Wrong to Eat Your Dog?
Jonathan Haidt, Silvia Helena Koller, and Maria G. Dias
(From the Materials and Procedure section on page 617:)
The basic procedure was the structured interview, described by Turiel (1983). Three stories were paraphrased from Davidson, Turiel, and Black (1983).
In the Swings story, a girl wants to use a swing, so she pushes a boy off and hurts him. This is a prototypical moral violation, because it involves direct physical harm to an innocent victim.
In the Uniform story, a boy wears regular clothes to school, even though the school requires students to wear a uniform.
In the Hands story, a man eats all his food with his hands, in public and in private, after washing them. These last two stories are prototypical conventional violations, because they involve no intrinsic harm to others.
The novel stimuli created for this study were five harmless-offensive stories in which an actor does something likely to be considered offensive, yet there is neither harmful intention nor harmful consequence.
Two of these stories involved disrespect or disobedience:
Flag: A woman is cleaning out her closet, and she finds her old [American or Brazilian] flag. She doesn't want the flag anymore, so she cuts it up into pieces and uses the rags to clean her bathroom.
Promise: A woman was dying, and on her deathbed she asked her son to promise that he would visit her grave every week. The son loved his mother very much, so he promised to visit her grave every week. But after the mother died, the son didn't keep his promise, because he was very busy.
Three additional stories involved unconventional food and sexual practices, designed to trigger the emotion of disgust:
Dog: A family's dog was killed by a car in front of their house. They had heard that dog meat was delicious, so they cut up the dog's body and cooked it and ate it for dinner.
Kissing: A brother and sister like to kiss each other on the mouth. When nobody is around, they find a secret hiding place and kiss each other on the mouth, passionately.
Chicken: A man goes to the supermarket once a week and buys a dead chicken. But before cooking the chicken, he has sexual intercourse with it. Then he cooks it and eats it. [This story was given to adults only]
The Philadelphia Board of Education gave an unwanted confirmation of the offensiveness of these stories when it refused to permit the incestuous Kissing story to be read to public school children ... [We substituted] a different disgust story. For Philadelphia low-SES children, the Kissing story was replaced by the Candy story, in which a 12-year-old boy "eats so much candy that he is full. But he still wants to eat more candy, so he makes himself throw up in the bathroom, then he returns to his room to eat more candy. Nobody sees him do this, and it does not make him feel bad."
A final story, given only to children, described a girl who goes out for a walk wearing entirely blue clothing. This was given to catch subjects who were not paying attention ... Any child who did not say that this action was "perfectly OK" was removed from the study ...
After each story, six probe questions were asked:
a) Evaluation: "What do you think about this? Is it very wrong, a little wrong, or is it perfectly OK for [act specified]?"
b) Justification: "Can you tell me why?"
c) Harm: "Is anyone hurt by what [the actor] did? Who? How?"
d) Bother: "Imagine that you actually saw someone [performing the act]. Would it bother you, or would you not care?"
e) Interference: "Should [the actor] be stopped or punished in any way?
f) Universal: "Suppose you learn about two different foreign countries. In country A, people [do that act] very often, and in Country B, they never [do that act]. Are both of these customs OK, or is one of them bad or wrong?"
The Harm probe was included in response to Turiel et al.'s (1987) claim that Shweder et al.'s (1987) 39 stories may have been perceived as harmful in India, but not in the United States. The Harm probe determines whether there are cultural differences in the perception of harmfulness. The Bother probe serves a similar function as a check on the offensiveness of the stories. These two probes work together as manipulation checks to determine whether the harmless-offensive stories are perceived to be equally harmless and offensive in all groups.
The two most important probe questions are the Interference and Universal probes, which determine when a moralizing stance is taken. The Interference probe was taken from Miller et al. (1990). It establishes whether the action is seen as the actor's own business or whether outside interference would be legitimate and appropriate. The Universal probe establishes whether the action is seen as universally wrong, regardless of local customs and consensus, or whether it is seen as a social convention that can be different in different places. A subject who says that "both countries are OK" indicates that the practice is perceived to be a social convention, whereas a subject who states that "one of those countries has a bad custom" takes a moralizing stance.

Princess Sela
One of the first known female pirates, Princess Sela (active c. 400-420 CE) was a Norwegian princess. This would be centuries before the Viking Age hit Scandanavia.
Only a single sentence in the Gesta Danorum attests to her existence.
Deinde sororem eius, Selam nomine, piraticis exercitam rebus ac bellici peritam muneris, persecutus occidit.
Then he (Horwendill) pursued that (King Koller of Norway)'s sister, with the name Sela, skilled in piracy and experience in war and killed her.
From this, we know that Sela was a princess, brother to the king, and a respected and feared pirate on her own merit. She was killed in battle by a political rival, perhaps fearing her reprisal for his regicide.

A crimson red blush coloured Gus's cheeks as he bit hard into an apple that he and Lilia had stolen from the orchards just two days ago.
Prior to meeting his little neighbor years and years ago, Augustus had followed the Capitol's rules diligently. He never asked questions, never stepped a toe out of lie and bit hard on his tongue whenever the Hunger Games rolled around despite his own personal troubles with the backwards tradition. "Just shut up, Andreas. You don't know anything. She's my friend. Girls and guys can be friends. Just.... just shut up!"
Dark brown eyebrows furrowed into a deep frown as the fifteen-year old Gus poked the fire he and his brother started just a few minutes ago with his toe. It burned, damn it, but he wasn't going to let his older brother know that. For years now, both Andreas and Leonard had been taunting him relentlessly about his friendship with the neighbour's daughter, Lilia Koller. For a long time, he really didn't care. They were friends. Hell, sometimes it was like they were family. He viewed Lilia like a little cousin. He'd seen her with scraped knees and he'd seen her cry (despite her best efforts to hide those outbursts of emotions). He'd held her hand when they stood there shaking at their very first Reaping. He knew her. He knew her.
...except all of a sudden, he didn't. And his older brothers saw the changes better than anyone else.

OC Ask Meme: Alexandra Montgomery
Basics
Name: Alexandra Maribel Montgomery
Gender: Female
Sexuality: heterosexual
Pronouns: She/Her
More below the cut
Other
Family: her mother is Cuban, born in Havana, and moved to the USA to study and work. Her father is a half samoan-american SWAT agent, born and raised in Detroit. Her father-side grandfather is Hawaiian, he later moved in Detroit in search of more job opportunities, while her grandmother is a white woman born in Detroit, disowned because of her will to marry a black man. She also has a sister, Isabelle Ignacia, former member of a Sarif's research team.
Birthplace: Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit
Job(s): former Detroit PD SWAT agent, TF29 agent in Prague
Phobias: augs malfunction. She horribly fears of hurting someone because of a malfunction of her prosthetic arm. To prevent this, she's got a sort of emergency button installed, designed by her own sister. It is meant to quickly discharge her nanoblade and tesla system ammo. She also horribly fears of getting blind. Both Alexandra and Isabelle suffer from Retinitis Pigmentosa (RP), a genetic disease that slowly drags the patient into blindness. Despite getting an eye augmentation, one of the first of its kind, back in 2018, she still fears to lose her sight for some reason.
Comfortable enjoyments: dark chocolate and everything chocolate flavoured, strawberries, good beer or wine once in a while, domesticity, Adam's heartbeat.

Relationships
OTP: Adam x Alexandra. They've been knowing each other for years, since when she joined the police school and got to meet him thanks to the fact that her father and Adam were colleagues. Their relationship was a really strong and deep one. After that Adam ended up working for Sarif, they didn't get to hang out as much as before, but their friendship never ended. Before getting in touch again when she moves to Prague, she only gets to know that Adam is firstly presumed dead, and later learns that Sarif found him alive, but not many details are given to her. Day by day, their relationship gets deeper and deeper, and after a relatively short time they end up together.
Acceptable ships: Alexandra x Talos Rucker. She deeply admires him, and she seriously thought about getting in touch with him more than once before meeting Adam again. Her love for Adam is deeper though, and that's what stops her in the end, besides Talos' death.
OT3: none
BroTP: Alexandra x Aria. Those two get on so well since day one and feel more like sisters in bond. Alexandra x Faridah Malik. She loves her deeply, too. Isabelle got them to meet each other, and since then they developed a strong relationship. Alexandra x Francis Pritchard. Again, they got to know each other thanks to Isabelle. Their relationship bloomed slowly and with more difficulties because of their extremely different personalities, and sometimes they still have troubles while interacting with each other. Truth is that deep down they deeply care about each other, no matter how much different they are. Alexandra x Vaclav Koller: as she gets to his dungeon to get checked, she can’t help but fall for his friendly personality. Being as old as Isabelle, she can’t help but look at him like a little brother. She’s extremely supportive and always ready to help and protect him, just like an older sister would do.
NOTP: Alexandra x MacReady. Those two can't seem to get on at all. Alex can't stand his behaviour and attitude towards augmented people, and she tries her best to be nice to him. Only if Duncan's attitude towards those like her changed they could hope to bond. Yet, Duncan respects her and vice verse. They manage to find some sort of balance day by day, and at least they get to act decently around each other.
She has an excellent relationship with her family. Her parents, grandparents and sister are extremely supportive. When she lost her right arm in 2027 during the incident, and her boyfriend Michael, while trying to keep people inside a residential building safe, she went through one of the darkest times of her life. Lots of people that she called friends turned their backs to her only because of her second aug, guilt for Michael's death ate her alive, and the whole process of rehab and pain after the amputation were destroying her. If it wasn't for her family and closest friends, her mental health would have been extremely compromised.

____________________________
Sometimes you don’t really know where people stand in my life and its unsettling because you’ve always been so sure of the person you wanted to be, and you really don’t have time for humanity to play anymore fucking games. So slowly but surely, you’ve managed to weed out all the bad in your life leaving you with four amazing people who generally had your best interest at heart. Arina, Barnes, Indigo, and Hoseok.
Each of the four have been with you through thick and thin and you greatly appreciate that. You met Arina in grade school at the age of 14, and since then she’s been in your life for as long as you can remember. Barnes joined about halfway through your sophomore year and being the lovable jock out of the group of three. Everyone loved Barnes because seriously what’s not to love? The man was 5’10 built like no other and had the face of a Greek god which got on your last nerve If you were being honest at the time. Barnes was always loyal to you and Arina in ways that not everyone saw at the time. Indigo joined the pack of you three Junior High, by chance the three of you were all in world history together and met Indigo through mutual dislike. The kid was too smart for his own good and it was so frustrating each time Indigo got into a heated debate with Mr. Koller about how Bush had just about everything to do with 9/11. Indigo gave no regards to the kids that were taking the test and resulted in you asking him to kindly shut the fuck up earing both of you Saturday night detention. That night Jimmy Carter had thrown one of the biggest parties of the century and you had missed it to spend your Saturday night cleaning gum of the student bleachers with wise guy Indigo.
By the slimmest chance that night had turned out to be one of the best nights. Indigo had made you laugh and smile the whole time and you slowly started to notice how misunderstood he really was. The man had no idea how to interact with human beings therefore causing his own species to turn on him. Through the dorky glasses and skinny build Indigo was one of the one wisest people you’ll ever meet. After that night you introduced him to the squad of friends and the four of you have been inseparable. What changed for Indigo senior year is when he went off to Italy for the summer and came back looking straight out of a GQ magazine you had almost walked right passed him with a weird look when he called out your name in the hall beginning semester. Once Arina saw him she dropped her books and nearly “fainted”, it was honestly a sight to see. That year Arina and Indigo got close and ended up dating for a couple months till the dynamic between your group got a little weird. Tears were shed, and hearts were broken testing your whole friendship till a week before graduation you invited all your friends one last time for old times’ sake, to a makeshift party at your aunt’s house. The four of you bonded that night in a way that imprinted on your life forever.
Then it was off to college, Arina went to London for school, You and Barnes ended up going to a university in New York together, and Indigo ended up going to Paris, France for school. The band was officially over. You four went from seeing each other every day to talking through computer screens and phones. Sure, you had Barnes, which was amazing but with having different classes and Majors you barely had time to hang. That’s when you met Jung Hoseok. He was by far someone you’d never thought you would cross paths with. In ways that you weren’t creative he was innovative, where you lacked life he was light. When you couldn’t see a way through Hoseok had a fierce sense of optimism. He seemed to be the better half of you in everyway and it scared you shitless that somebody like him, who had no where near as much history as your four friends could know you by the back of his hand without even trying to hard. To him you were an open book.
You met Hoseok when you were out volunteering at the Y your second year of college. He was teaching and advance class for street dancing and you couldn’t help but watch through the small window outside of the mirrored room. Once the class was done the kids rushed out of the classroom breaking your cover. Hoseok smiled at you and introduced himself. “I saw you watching me though the window” He said with a breathtaking smile.
“I uhhh, really enjoyed watching you dance it was….. Refreshing” You replied a little embarrassed you got caught.
The two of you carried on your conversation as if you hadn’t talked to each other in years. Hoseok had a way of making you feel so warm and comfortable in your own skin, so it became easy for you to talk to him without feeling shy. Hoseok had to teach another class that evening cutting your conversation short. He didn’t leave without giving you his number and telling you, “We should hangout sometime, I don’t have many friends on campus, not like you at least”. You returned to your dorms with the biggest smile on your face, happy that you met someone so different. That whole year you and Hoseok or as the kids at the Y called him J-hope, have been as thick as thieves. Finally, your third year you introduced him to Barnes. It was scary how well the two got along. You honestly thought it would be quit the opposite because Hoseok was such a wild card. But he was the perfect balance that most people lacked. The two would go as far as hanging out without you sometimes which made you jealous at times, but you didn’t know why you would feel this way toward a friend. That was all he was right. A friend.
Three years later college is all over and you’ve managed to graduate top of your class along with Barnes and Hoseok. It was almost as if the universe wanted the old squad together again. Adulthood was calling out for the five of you Hoseok included and brought you all together in New York. Arina came back a you ended up sharing an apartment in the upper eastside of Manhattan that suited both of your taste. It was such a blessing for you to have her back in your life even though you’ve been keeping touch it was just never the same millions of miles away. Indigo ended up owning his own brand of companies that littered throughout new your Canada and Paris. The man was ambitious and driven by his own vision of success. He too was more constant in your life when he wasn’t busy running his company. You two were even able to create a schedule that suited his work life just fine, meeting every Tuesday and Friday. Barnes got hitched as soon as you all graduated and had a baby on the way with his long-term girl Bethany. They were the perfect definition of a perfect family.
You then introduced Hoseok to Arina and Indigo and without failing Hoseok got along with your friends just fine. He would rave at how lucky you were to have such good friends and he told you how much he missed his brothers back home in Korea. It then dawned at you how you wanted to see he happier than he usually is on the daily bases, so you did some digging around and bought the two of you round trip tickets to South Korea. It was such an impulsive decision, but you just wanted to see him happy. That’s all you could think about when you finally planned out the whole trip. You even got in contact with one of his brothers Namjoon who helped you plan out the trip as well.
It was finally time to gift Hoseok with the tickets and you were soo nervous and anxious to give them because you really wanted him to see this as a gift and not a loan. You wanted to thank him for all of the years he has been in your life, he has been such a rock that you couldn’t imagine your life without him. You wanted to see him at home with the people that he cared soo much about and to feel the joy that he has always brought to you.
No one could have prepared you for the tears of joy that flowed freely down Hoseok’s face when you gave him the tickets in his living room after a night out. He was speechless and did nothing but hold you tight in his arms as he cried in your shoulder. You thought you knew how much this meant to him until you saw for your own eyes how you completely changed the dynamic of your friendship. Hoseok knew that deep down that he was more than a friend to you in your life. He knew how you both would joke around as say you would do anything for each other and not blink an eye, but this time it was something deeper. He felt it in the way your arms were wrapped around his torso. He felt it in the ay you looked at him for more than the comfortable time just, so you can see him smile a little longer. Hoseok felt your love through the action of wanting him to see his hyungs just so he can be with them and share his new-found life in New York to them. Hoseok felt a love that was so great he had no words to say, all he could feel was the raw emotion that flowed through both of you.
“I just want to see you happy Jay” She smiled wiping his tear streaked cheeks.
That was when he first said it. “I love you, y/n” Hoseok placed his head into her warm lap and basked in the love that surrounded them both.
That summer you and Hoseok traveled to South Korea. During the trip you could feel the changed in your friendship. You completely fell in love with the way Hoseok would be around his hyungs and his family. What made you even cry one night is when you realized that Hoseok was the light of not only your life, but to them as well.
“Are you okay y/n?” Hoseok came into your shared bedroom one night and sat down on the edge of the bed.
“Yeah, Jay I’m okay” You tried to reassure him but when he looked at you deep into your eyes you broke down. Hoseok rushed to your shaking form and held you close to his chest and let you cry on him till you had calmed down.
“What’s wrong jagiya?” Hoseok’s deep voice filled the room, you looked up at his face with puffy eyes and saw the concern etched on his face.
“I’m really happy” You said not saying what you really wanted to say.
“Usually when people are happy, they don’t cry as hard as you just did” Hoseok said smiling down at you.
“I don’t know I don’t think I’ve ever been this happy before” You sat up still wanting to in his embrace you straddled his lap and laid your head on his shoulder. That’s when you felt it. The strong need to plant kisses all over your best friends’ neck. You wanted to hear his pleasure as you made art work or red bruises down the column of his neck. It took all you might to concentrate on what he was saying that whole night while you were on his lap like this.
“Are you even listening y/n” Hoseok asked already knowing the answer.
“I got distracted jagiya” you replied knowing it would make him smile when you used the term of endearment.
Yet again Hoseok was rendered speechless at how quick you could turn him into a mess of a man by just calling him your baby. He needed to leave before an unwanted guest makes an appearance while you sat on his lap.
“I’m off to shower y/n” Hoseok kissed the top of your head unable to help himself, he got up from the bed and you followed him to the door knowing you will be sleeping by the time he’s done.
Opening the door Hoseok went out and leaned on the door post. He tried to speak but was tongue tied as he stared at your beautiful face.
You could feel the heat from Hoseok’s gaze. It was as if time was stopping and neither of you could look away. That should have been it for you both. The look alone confirmed everything you have been feeling towards Hoseok, you finally knew that he felt the electricity that flowed between the two of you, and you were no longer alone in your unspoken feelings for him.
Hoseok was the first to break the moment, confusion littered on his face as he awkwardly mumbled goodnight on his way to the bathroom. The next day felt normal but you both knew that as soon as you went back to New York, everything changes.
*present time*
As soon as you got home you immediately missed Korea already. New York just didn’t have the same vibe. You wondered how Hoseok felt everyday being here.
Arina wanted to know every single detail from your trip and you gladly told her everything from start to finish. “So, you are saying you like him or something?” Arina looked at you curiously.
“I don’t just like him Arina, there is something deeper going on between us and I know he feels it two”
“I fucking knew it! Indigo owes me fifty” Arina shouted in triumph.
“Wait-what!” you frowned.
“I said Indigo owes me fifty” Arina smirked proudly.
“I can’t believe you placed a bet on my and Hoseok’s relationship” you couldn’t help the grin that spread across your face.
“We say it 3 years ago honey, you didn’t fool me” Arina shrugged.
“Why didn’t you tell me?” You asked, surprised that her big mouth didn’t out your feeling for him sooner.
“Because, this way was just more beautiful to watch”
“oh” embarrassed you sunk down into the couch.
“I have never seen a man look at a woman with so much love before till I saw the way Hoseok looks at you”
“Was it that obvious?” you asked a little confused.
“Yeah gurl that man wants you” Arina nodded picking up her empty glass of wine.
“You know, Indigo still looks at you the same way” You changed the subject.
“Wow, turning the tables?” Arina poured another glass and sat back down.
“He still loves you after all this time Arina, we’re fucking 26 and that man has loved you since we were in grade school.
“I know” Arina said sadly.
“Give him a break” You gently wiped away the lone tear that escaped her glassy eyes.
“Do you think I’m ready for that, he’s”
“No more excuses Arina, get your man”
That night you both talked till the wee hours of the morning before calling it quits.
A few weeks past and you haven’t seen Hoseok since the trip. The friend part of you knew he probably needed space or time to think things through, but the needy part of you was selfish and didn’t care for space.
Busy with work Hoseok couldn’t have time to see you and missed you terribly. It was such a weird feeling not having seen you for two weeks and missing you even though you spent the whole summer together. This was defiantly a new feeling. Hoseok was also running from the fact that he was in love with you and had no idea on how to deal with it. Giving up he went ahead and called you before he slept and the two of you stayed on the phone for hours till Hoseok heard her soft snores on the other line.
Dude was fucking whipped and he had no idea as to how he was going to tell you.
The next day Hoseok had planned for the both of you to hangout at the mall after his rehearsal at his dance studio. You were soo happy at the gesture and couldn’t wait to see him. Waiting for his call of arrival you sat on the sofa and let Arina add the finishing touches to your makeup. The perks of having your best friend be a makeup artist.
Your phone rang Hoseok’s familiar ringtone, “Hello” you picked up.
“I’m outside your door” He said. Fuck his voice was so deep.
“Alright I’m coming out” You smiled.
“Have fun you twooooo” Arina sang opening the door revealing Hoseok’s edible looking self. Hoseok blushed pink at Arina’s comment causing you to laugh nervously. Ignoring her you shut the door and faced Hoseok, more like his chest.
Rasing your head you smiled up at him softly. “I missed you” you couldn’t help but say as you slipped your hands around his torso bringing him into a warm hug. He responded and immediately engulfed his arms around you.
“Missed you too jagi” he whispered in your ear, he may not have tried to word it out so seductively but that’s how your horny mind conceived it as and you couldn’t help but press your body flusher against his.
Reluctantly you pulled away from your embrace. What made your body tingle was the lingering touch from Hoseok’s fingers that left your body buzzing even after you left your apartment. For the rest of the day Hoseok continued to tease your mind and body in such cruel ways. By the lingering touches, the way he licked his plump lips after he finished his ice cream, what that man did to that ice cream cone was pure fucking evil. You watched the gentle licks he gave to the frozen dairy product like a starved woman. He even had the nerve to lick some of your ice cream letting out the dirtiest moan when had his share of the creamy dessert. After the ice cream you went shopping for cloths and he snuck you in the men’s dressing room to get your opinion on the outfits he chooses. You watched in awe as he modeled such sinful clothing like the see-through black button up he picked out and paired them with skin tight black leather pants, which left no room for imagination as you saw the way the pants fitted around his private parts and firm ass. You could feel your pussy dampen when he started to unbutton the dress shirt as if you hadn’t had enough. Now Hoseok was shirtless wearing nothing but skin-tight leather pants. He gazed at you from the mirror as he dropped the shirt to the floor and unbuttoned the top of his pants.
“fuck” you cursed before leaving the dressing room and rushing out the store.
“Miss are you okay” The store clerk called out to you as you exited the store.
Hoseok was fucking with you. You knew damn well what he was doing, and he was enjoying the sweet torcher. Flaunting his boy off to you like some slut. It drove you mad. The pent-up sexual frustration you felt was burning through your body and you wanted to act on it but that would be giving Hoseok what he wants.
Walking out of the store Hoseok confidently strides towards your heated form.
“I know you liked them so much, so I bought both outfits” Hoseok smiled innocently.
This bitch, you thought.
“Great, let’s go into forever 21, I want a new bathing suit.” You said ignoring him.
Hoseok couldn’t help but smile. He didn’t know what he deal was, but he wanted you begging for his cock by the end of the night. No more fucking games….. Well except this last one.
Later that night Hoseok walked you to your door and quietly. Neither of you said a word on your way up. Stopping at the door you unlocked it then you turned around and gazed up at him. Hoseok closed the distance between the both of you. His eyes never leaving yours, you bit your lip to hold back a whine from escaping your lips. You could practically feel the tension radiating from both your bodies. He’s kept you on the edge all day and now that he has you practically begging for him he stood and watched you tremble with need.
Hoseok pulled you closer by your waist, his body tingling at the anticipation of having you closer. His tall frame towered over you causing you to arch your body forward so that you could see him better in the low light. “Hoseok” you breathed out causing him to groan in reply. You tried to say something else, but your throat closed. Hoseok leaned down slowly till your faces a mere inch apart. Without another word he pressed his soft lips against yours. Both of you let out moans at the contact, having waited too long to be touched this intimately by him. Slowly Hoseok moved his lips against yours allowing his lips to pull away gently before pressing back leaving you with open mouth kisses. Wanting more you slid your hand up and weaved it through Hoseok’s hair till you settled a firm grip pushing your lips harder against his.
“more” your whimpered on his lips.
Hoseok wanting to pleasure you more quickened the pace of the kiss, adding more pressure to onto your bottom lip till he took it completely in his mouth and sucked on it sensually. You moaned loudly echoing in the hallway but neither of you cared still kissing passionately. Wanting to deepen the kiss Hoseok began licking at your lower lip wanting entrance. Granting him you opened your mouth allowing him to dive in. His tongue explored through your mouth causing an animalistic groan to rip through his mouth as he tangled his tongue with yours. Your body became weak against his as he continued his ministrations till he pulled away pecking you gently on your swollen lips.
“Goodnight” He said with one final kiss on your lips, he walked off leaving your leaning against your front door.
The next day you were deep in thought as you sat down and ate breakfast with Arina.
“You’re awfully quiet.” She observed with a curious glance.
“I’m thinking” you replied rolling your eyes.
“mhmmmm, about that kiss last night?” Arina smirked.
“I can’t believe you-“
“I was watching tv and you were moaning like a whor-“
“oh, my goodness, please stop this I beg of you” You were beyond embarrassed she caught you last night, but you don’t regret a thing.
Later that week Hoseok continued as if the kiss didn’t happen, or at least that’s what it seemed like over text. “you should come over later, I haven’t used my pool yet” he texted you.
He had just recently got a new house out of the city the size of a mini mansion. It didn’t surprise you that he was finally getting bored in the big house all by himself, so you said what the heck and packed you two bathing suits and an overnight bag just in case.
Making your way to the front door you rang the bell and waited for him to open the door.
Hoseok opened the door already in his shirtless and in his swimming trunks. He looked soo fucking good and he knew it based on the knowing smirk he did when he caught you staring for too long.
“I’m going to go change in the bathroom” You smiled already knowing your way around the house.
Staring at the finished product you smirked at how good you looked in the scandalous two-piece suit. Getting one size smaller to let your breast hang over the flimsy fabric in a loose and sexy way. Your bottoms had cut slits at the corners of your inner pelvis and curved your ass just right. Now its time for him to fucking beg for it.
Grabbing a towel out the closet you wrapped it around your body and made your way to the pool. Hoseok was already in the pool doing laps till you sat down on the lounge chair. It was like some seen out of a movie the way he emerged from the pool, water dripping down his golden chest and his hair slick back wet showing off his forehead. You were fucking drooling by the time Hoseok toweled himself off and made his way to the lounge chair to the left of you.
“Its nice and cool-the water” He said smiling up at you.
“I bet, can you help me with this sunscreen” you smiled biting your lip.
“Yeah sure” He replied grabbing the bottle from the table.
Turning around you smirked to yourself, ‘game on’. Getting up from the chair your let the towel drop to the side and you slowly bent down to remove your sandals from your feet. Turning your body back towards him Hoseok ogled your body shamelessly slicking his lips as he saw how good you looked in that barely fitted bikini.
You sat back down and turned around, so he could start with your back. You herd the click of the bottle opening anticipating the feel of Hoseok’s hands on your back. You moaned softly at the cool sensation of the lotion being spread against your warm back. Hoseok made sure to spread his fingers gently against your back and apply the right amount of pressure to get the job done.
Once he was done he was hard. There was no shaking the arousal he felt now, and he needed to calm the fuck down.
“Thanks Jay, baby” you purred sweetly before applying the rest of the sunscreen on your body. You laid back down and enjoyed the rays as you relaxed by the pool. Hoseok went back in the water for a couple more laps and you decided to take the time to untie the strings of your bathing suit. It was a normal act in which people used to do to avoid tan lines. Hoseok thought nothing of it as he observed you from the pool. What caused him to get out of the pool was when you reached beside the lounge chair and grabbed the sunscreen bottle again.
“You need help?” He asked needing another layer as well.
“Yeah if you don’t mind” you smiled cutely. “I just need to get my chest if you don’t mind, I kind of want a full tan y’no?” Hoseok sat on the edge of your lounge chair ready to get your back when you moved and sat straight up with your bathing suit left on the spot where you laid. His body tensed up as he saw the movement of your bare breast in front of his face. He wasn’t even embarrassed at the way he stared at your topless body. Looking up into your face Hoseok’s eyes widened at the coy smile that etched across your face. You knew exactly what you were doing, and you waited for Hoseok to pull the next move.
Without hesitation Hoseok placed his hands on the top of your chest and let the sunscreen spread till he reached the swell of your breast. Gently he began to caress your breast softly spreading the lotion. Your nipple beaded at the attention given making you moan softly, you scooted closer wanting more pressure against your needy breast. Hoseok seemed to get the message and began tugging and pulling a bit rougher than before. Hoseok looked up to see the pleasure etched against your beautiful face and tugged harder causing you to gasp loudly. You looked up into Hoseok’s gaze and moaned out in pleasure. He couldn’t believe how beautiful you looked all body all arched and needy for his cock.
“tell me what you want baby” he husked out darkly.
“Please touch me” you moaned unable to control yourself anymore.
“Well I am touching you sweetheart” he chuckled.
“NO!” You grabbed one of his hands and brought it down to your heated core. “Here, touch me here”
“You want me to touch your pussy?” Hoseok whispered dirtily in your ear.
“Fuck, yes” you whimpered at the pressure he applied.
“as you wish my love” Hoseok slipped his hand into your bikini bottom and dove into your wet core, your body dropped back into the chair as you moaned grinding your pussy against Hoseok’s fingers.
“That’s it baby, fuck my hand” changing position he let his body hover over you as you fucked yourself onto his hand. Without warning he inserted two fingers into your wet pussy. At this point your body was trembling in pleasure with your high almost near. Then he pulled out making you whine in protest, pulling down your bottoms for better access Hoseok drove his fingers back in caressing your top wall with the constant forward motion. This had you screaming causing Hoseok to cover your mouth as he continued to finger your drenched pussy.
You were soo close you could practically feel your orgasm nearly hitting you. Hoseok knew as well so he leaned down and captured your swollen clit in his mouth and began sucking sensually. You body began to spaz out at the overload of pleasure you felt as he continued to thrust his fingers deep in your core.
Finally breaking free your orgasm rushed throughout your body, Hoseok’s hand muffled your cries of pleasure as you came. Slowly coming back to earth, you whimpered at the over sensitivity as Hoseok rubbed your fold at a lazy leisure.
Bringing his hand up to his mouth Hoseok licked your arousal off his fingers gazing in your eyes as he completed the lewd act. You bit your lip unable to look away. Leaning down Hoseok captured your lips into a heated kiss before pulling away, “I love you” He whispered against your lips. You could see the vulnerability in his eyes as he said these three words. He was completely giving himself to you and you could feel the silent surrender that hovered over the you both.
“I love you too” you grinned pulling him back down against you for another kiss.
Took the both of you a while to admit it but you’re glad you could go through life knowing that you had this moment here and now that changed everything for you.

PERMANENT PLOTTING CALL, like this post if you’re interested in plotting with any of my muses and I’ll IM everyone <3 short descriptions with links are below the cut to help out as well, and the list will be updated if/as I make more muses. (mutuals only, and please specify which muse you’d like to plot with!!)
Sabine Beavoir aka Nightshade (fandomless cyberpunk oc)
Sabine is an assassin in a cyberpunk universe, which I am currently building. She was brought into this world by her mentor, who helped her years ago when she killed her father after he killed her mother and locked her and her sister in a room for three days. Sabine is very sadistic, she only does hired kills (lies, sometimes she strays from the path and does it purely for fun), but she really enjoys it. Verse-wise, I can work around to fit her into marvel or dc universes if needed, but anything that has a sci-fi atmosphere works.
Calliope Espinosa (fandomless vampire oc)
Callie’s a very powerful vampire. In the setting I created for her, she became the leader of an entire faction of vampires, and within that group she is called La Reina. She’s the owner of a vampire bar and cabaret, where all types of creatures are welcome as long as they respect her and her vamps. And the humans that come along are probably gonna turn into food. And yes, I will admit, she was heavily inspired by FDTD’s Kisa. She can fit in many different verses, anything works as long as she’s still a vampire.
Venus Von Spanx (fandomless drag queen oc)
Venus is a drag performer and dominatrix, owner and manager of a sex club called The Kink Machine (name probably to be changed). I still have a few details to work out about her, but it’s pretty simple, she’s a human oc that can fit many many verses.
Natalia Kaisekamp aka Personification of Lust (fandomless oc)
So Natalia has two verses that matter: one where she REALLY is the personification of sin, and one where experiments where done on her by what is called The Sin & Virtue project (also set in my cyberpunk universe). In this cyberpunk verse, she has no memory of her actual life, just memories that were implanted on her, they’ve made her believe she is the personification of Lust, just as they’ve done to the other people in this project, created for unknown purposes.
Václav Koller (Deus Ex franchise)
Václav is the owner of a bookstore called The Time Machine, which is actually a front for his real business: illegal underground augmentation clinic. He does neuroplastic surgery for people who still have augments (and the money to pay for this kind of stuff), but his clientele is mostly criminals.
Donovan (The Red Strings Club)
Donovan is a bartender and information broker, but for reasons yet unknown, he cannot leave his bar. His body also rejects modifications, and he’s one of the only humans who hasn’t had anything implanted or modified.
Nine Ball (Ocean’s 8)
Nine Ball is an amazing hacker, and currently owns her own bar, due to the money she gained from the heist. And……… I don’t know what else to say bc there’s not much about her in the movie and I’m a dumbass and don’t remember her real name. But I’ll work on this.
Lara Croft (Tomb Raider)
(I follow the Survivor Timeline) Daughter of a wealthy archeologist, Lara grew up in a big house with a fascination for all things ancient and historical, dreaming of being like her dad one day. However, his incessant research into eternal life (due to the death of Lara’s mother, Amelia), drew him further and further into reclusion, causing Lara to rebel against him for many years. After his death, and recently out of college, Lara decided to look into her father’s research, going into places he had been or spoken about, which garnered her a few interesting adventures.
Mollymauk Tealeaf (critical role)
(quick disclaimer: i still haven’t totally caught up with campaign 2 and i haven’t finished campaign 1, sorry). Molly’s a bloodhunter tiefling with purple skin and horns as ostentatious as his wardrobe. After being found repeating the word empty over and over, Molly was taken in to the Fletching and Moondrop Travelling Carnival of Curiosities, with which he travelled for 2 years alongside Yasha before the two of them joined forces with some more outcasts and formed the Mighty Nein. I am still undecided if there will be a non-fantasy verse for Molly, but.... probably not, for now, it’s all DnD centered. (But I would love having some stuff set before the campaign btw!!)
Zia Rodriguez (Jurassic World)
Zia is a paleo-veterinarian, having always dreamt of working on the island, however that never came to be because the incident happened soon after she accepted an internship at the park. Eventually, she joined the DPG to help with their efforts, hoping to study the dinosaurs once they were rescued, and to one day be able to tell the world more about these creatures.
The White Widow (Mission Impossible)
Alanna and her brother Zola are the children of Max Mitsopolis, a world-renowned arms dealer from whom they inherited the business. At some point, Max turned to using her illegally-obtained money for charitable purposes, something Alanna kept doing as well.
Bloody Mary (Fables / The Wolf Among Us)
A socipathic killer, Mary was the henchwoman for the Crooked Man before his death (verse based on choosing to kill the Crooked Man in TWAU). She left Fabletown for a while after getting severely injured by Bigby Wolf, hiding and plotting her next course of action. Mary’s back now, taking Crooked’s business for herself, intent on becoming a crime boss. Mundies call her Bloody Mary, an old legend that dares children to summon her in a bathroom mirror by repeating her name, and she visits all those who have the audacity of bothering her, teaching them a quite bloody lesson.

okay im just sitting on like ten different ideas for hyper short things i can write for the blah blah blah ao3 tag dead thing anyway this was one but then it got to big so now i have to figure out how to make it short again which makes this far down on the list chronologically but. i would also like to nominate koller raises tiny jc as a entry into the collective dx idea pool
specifically tiny 3yr old runaway jc who’s mad cause his brother snapped at him and so he ran off through the prague sewers where people really seem to be perpetually habituating sewers in the dx-verse hm anyway and then promptly got lost because hes like three
and kollers like. hm. theres a kid there. there shouldnt be a kid there, right? i feel like not. i feel like thats probably a definite not. and then he makes the very large mistake of being like. hey. child. you should not be out there here sit in bookstore while parents are found.
because of course jcs not going to tell him a damn thing, because nobody loves him and hes never going back and/or the equivalent of such in 3yrold-speak havent done research, and also because, of course, hes not just Runaway from brother, they are also both Runaway from Illuminati. and while he may not quite understand what lumnati means, he is very certain that THEY will come and get him if he tells ANYONE. ANYTHING.
