Based off a Convo I unfortunately had with someone

Me: I like Amourshipping, Palletshipping and Kodakshipping!

Person: but journeyshipping and pokeshipping is better!

Me: they're good ships but not my cup of tea. I much prefer Palletshipping, Amourshipping and Kodakshipping tho

Person: but pokeshipping and journeyshipping is much better. You should ship them, they have much better chemistry and potential

Me:...okay? I don't ship them. Please respect that.

Person: No! You HAVE to ship these two ships

Me: God, and people say amourshippers are toxic

Person: fuck you *proceeds to mass spam curses at me*

I'd like to say, I have no issue with people who ship journeyshipping and pokeshipping. I personally don't and never will, I just wish people would respect that cuz this isn't the first time this has happened to me and it sucks.

If I had a nickel for everytime someone has tried to get me to ship pokeshipping or journeyshipping, I'd have 5 nickels. Not a lot just unfortunate it's happened five times

Trying something new

Hey, so I am a really big fan of pokemon, and I would love to start writing fan fiction. I am open to requests, and pretty much open to writing fluff, smut, and downright dirty shit... pretty much anything. Ekdjd thinking about Paul meeting Trip and absolutely despising him for the sole reason is because he want’s to be Ash’s worst rival, or something along the line of pride, and Trip is just Not Having It.

Soon they start bickering, all the while Ash is just sitting in the grass a little bit away chewing on some carrots because he tried to leave, more like sneak tf away, and both snapped viciously at him to sit his ass back tf down.

Cilan: is Paul.... always like this?

Ash: oh, no! The only people that really got under his skin were Dawn, Barry, and his brother Reggie but Reggie doesn’t really count because, again, he’s his brother

Iris: their both acting like kids!

Ash: I wouldn’t let Paul hear you. He will skin you without hesitation.

Iris: *shocked Pikachu face* What!?

Cilan: Ash.... you have to be joking.

Ash: No, I’m not. Paul punched Barry so hard he sent him flying into a snow bank at least.... 5 feet away, if I’m correct, and his hand didn’t even hurt afterwards.

Yes this definitely both Paul and Trip are edging towards a full out brawl.

Like, you join a fandom or something and you eventually grow to ship certain characters by seeing them interact but then you see fanart of another ship who you rarely see interact or have never thought about and you’re just like

What’s ur opinion on kodakshipping?

(!!! Ahh I’m so sorry T^T! I was struggling to come up with a proper answer for like two days and then totally forgot about this >.>’)

But back to the topic-  I think it’s rather obvious that I’m all for Kodak >:3 I mean, it’s not my Main ShipTM but totally a one I was obsessed with a few years ago :’) It’s especially a good pairing to explore since *cough* in canon Trip was really poorly treated? His relationship with Ash had so much potential and I do catch myself from time to time thinking about all the Possibilities as for how their dynamic could evolve… Anyway, opinions opinions…

Hmmm.. I find Kodak much more cheerful and energetic than Coma or Vorpal? The Ash/Trip duo comes across as a bit childish, yes, but not in a bad way. Also basing on the anime, I think Trip would be much easier to persuade to do like ‘goofy’ things? (Ash’d be delighted to finally have someone to share his prankster side with that’s for sure) :’) 

Idk, to me, Kodak is this nice unproblematic ship, something that will just brighten up your day even when you don’t have much energy to come up with any complex stories or headcanons. Are they boring? Huh.. It honestly depends on how much sass you’re willing to put into Trip’s personality but I personally find them simply calm, not bland ^-^

Hi I made a Kodakshipping comic for Mermay (because I absolutely DID NOT forget that Mermay was a thing until like last second, nahhhh). Apologies for the very VERY inconsistent art style, I'm not great at keeping it consistent even though I've been doing comics for a while. WOOPS. Honestly not proud of this at all but if I listen to the lil voice in my head, I'd just delete it so eh, there we go. I hope it still looks ok even if some stuff is not that great and it's very very cheesy (especially with the text, you just KNOW I didn't know how the hell to phrase it. I'll blame it on me being way too french) but huh yeah idk.

My first version of what I wanted to do for Mermay was Trip as the merman trying to take a picture stealthily of Ash but Pikachu busting him out. Might finish it one day but for now hi :)) Enjoy this lil comic!

Honestly I really like your shipping content! You have some really nice headcanons and as someone who is trying to write content about kodakshipping for example, this is literally so helpful honestly! I've been scouting around for content all this morning and this feels incredible to read all those hc TWT
