This is the Corvus Scarf by Alasdair Post-Quinn / fallingblox designs and my first ever double knit project i ever did. I. Hecking. Love it. So much.

This HAS to be in my top three things i ever made. Its just such a gorgeous design and was extremely fun to work on.

I started this project over a year ago, when i was still pretty new to knitting, then put it aside and forgot about it until a few weeks ago. It was pretty fun to see how much easier it was for me to pick this back up again than back when i first started it.

Anyway. Someone stop me from jumping right into the next huge project head first. Please - this is a call for help /j

Was reading about the knit clapotis pattern and there was a bit talking about how French people will simply wear a scarf and it keeps you warmer than a jacket. Idk if that is true about the French but since I read it a few days ago I've been bringing one along with my jacket (it's very cold when I leave in the morning and when I'm heading back, plus I am always cold anyway) in the hopes that I could use it rather than putting on my jacket for smoke breaks, since jackets are very hard to take on and off for me. And it turns out yeah a good warm scarf is at least as good as a thin jacket.

Anyway so I frogged this bag I had been making with a little encouragement from others (was considering it anyway; the yarn is so soft--too soft for a bag). It's not a clapotis; I only have one ball of this yarn and I'm not buying yarn these days. Just a scarf with some wrap design elements I guess ? Not really a fan of this yellow but you can never have too many scarves. Consider me a scarf convert.

Nothing better than a very simple scarf to show off some pretty handspun...

I plied the last little bit as a boucle yarn but most of it is just normal 2 ply. I can't tell if the boucle actually shows up in the scarf, but as a yarn it does look very satisfying
