#Knack 3

Long paragraph of a Dream, again. :)

a mix of Shrek, ben 10, and Knack. Started when I was at Target, seeing a Game trailer Nintendo brought up on the TV Screens, where Knack enters the Paper world (the Super Paper Mario one) to save (idk, but a race and it's world?).

There was a portal for me to go to, leading me into a Movie theater. it was a Movie/game I was being sent to, and it was amazing! the 2 protagonists, A boy and a Girl, that wield their very own Omnitrices (they also have 2 younger cousins that are Shapeshifters) as they go on a quest to save the Universe with some help of a "Titan Sized" Relic Golem (that has Giant Relics on them) oh, the Golem has a Mothership sized ship. (Leo and stitch intensifies)

There were 2 other main characters but it wasn't clear for me to know who they were, but they were like Shrek-related Characters. They were trying to restore the seasons somewhere, but idk where. The Seasons were like Holidays. Spring as Valentine's Day, Winter as Christmas, Fall as Halloween, Summer? we don't talk about that one. the 2 were stopping a Witch that was causing the Season Imbalance.

I was in the POV of Knack, going through a Mall, and had to cook something, idk what but some people were impatient and I had to yell at them to stop them from getting impatient. idk what else happened. :(

What would you like the plot to be in a hypothetical Knack 3? And what do you predict it could be?

I think I had a dream about something like this and still it would be *way* cool to have an actual massive labyrinth of ancient relic structures to navigate. I want co-op puzzles with Lucas using his grappling hook. And more teleporters. Most players would hate it because it would be a headache and a half to track everything, even with partial maps.

Naturally there would also be Guardians everywhere, and maybe there could be some new-but-ancient types.

And along the way they could find clues to Knack's origin, and to who made him and how many of them there might actually be.

A major thing I noticed in the second game is that Knack has the most power in what happens, naturally because he is the only canon playable character. But often, things like whether and how a puzzle gets solved is left up to Knack, too, which makes sense from a player agency and gameplay standpoint but is rather ehh from a story perspective. To have Lucas or another companion offer possible solutions, and play some physical part in putting things together, would help balance the narrative weight and may help Knack feel less like Atlas. Even something like helping Knack push or lift something when he doesn't have access to enough relics would be adorable.

Even without physical assistance and with single player, they could split up and talk over communicators while you play. Then you can have Lucas scuffle and grunt on the other end of the line, and have him not respond when Knack asks if he's okay >:3

I'm evil.

There could also be mini-games where Lucas tries to recall what he learned while helping the Doctor bring Knack to life. Lucas is a huge nerd; he's gotta know something. On the other hand, I can barely remember what I had for breakfast, let alone events from half a decade ago, so maybe he'd misremember some things.

I need some kind of resolution for the goblin plot. Two games, each eight hours or so long at least, and each time the goblins are dropped for some other antagonist. I bet the creators would leave us hanging again in KNACK 3. Sadly, I'm not sure how it could be done anyhow and is a major sticking point in my own story.

And I really wish the duo hadn't just flown off into the night sky on a whim; I wanted to see more of other characters like Ava. I don't remember what her plans were and am experiencing some technical difficulties preventing me from checking.

I also want characters to get into actual serious arguments that threaten their relationships and expose insecurities. I love drama.

Is the chance of there ever being a third knack game basically impossible? Yes,

Is that gonna stop me from hoping for one, no, not at all

Game companies do random shit all the time honestly the chance of a third game is alot higher than expected😭 their very very desperate for content alot of the time especially content with an already established world and community

Nicki Knack!!! So here's some sims-lore you probably never picked up on!

in the sims 4 country kitchen kit (that's right, even KITS in this game have lore!!!) there's a jar which has a description that mentions Nicki Knack and her relation to ... well ... knick-knacks!

this tells us about Nicki Knack, a young lady here but an old woman in the sims bustin' out (on GBA)

In TSBO, Nicki is seen working at a thrift shop and according to her wiki page, she has been working there for over thirty years at the start of the game, along with something said about 'keep[ing] the marble jokes to yourself'

Already we see that her parents seemed to have rules that they never explained as to why, but ones that had to be followed anyway, because they said so if you look at her wiki-page, then this is when we also learn that she may be related to the Knack family from the sims 3 in twinbrook

the family consists of the mother Pattina, the father Nick as well as their YA daughter Julienne

whether or not you wanna believe that Nicki is related to them, it may be worth noting that the Knack parents both are perfectionists (as the trait suggests)

the dad on the one hand, not only does he have the perfectionist trait, but he also very much is the opposite of scattered and absent-minded and messy if not for the fact that he's a surgeon, so he probably needs things to be stored 'in their place' where he can find them, but more so for the fact that he also for one has 4 skill-points in logic and for two has the ''can't stand art'-trait his traits tell us that he is a type-A, organized, tidy, and minimalistic, which not only conflicts with his name, but also with his otherwise artistic wife

the wife, on the other hand, is also mentioned in another object from another pack in the sims 4, the movie hangout stuff pack!

What we also know of their daughter Julienne, is that she wants to follow her mother's footsteps as she has her mother's money-driven nature but lacks her passion for art

if Nicki really is related to the Knacks, then it could be that she is the opposite of Julienne as she loves art but doesn't care as much about wealth and that's why she DID, in that case, follow Pattina's footsteps of selling art

and if her love for trinkets and artistic findings came from Pattina's love for the same things, the who's to say if maybe there are more Pattina Knack originals in Nicki's thrift shop?

An underrated aspect of drawing 919 I forgot to mention in my last post: have you ever wondered why I have a tendency sometimes to draw the Wunsoc sweaters as somewhat large and baggy? I think it’s fun to imagine that they might grow into them, just as they’ll “grow into” their role in the Society :)

The Post is about some art of Knack (With metal or iron parts), and it was called Attack of the 50 foot relic golem. :D there was a Video with some inspiration from the games and there was an AU Lucas, but Idk what AU it was :/ one thing I know, is that we're still getting them dreams till Knack 3, baby! :) (let's be patient, okay?)
