Bail or Jail - Open RP starter

((or, Klaus calls for bail. Could be one of his siblings, or could be a wrong number call! Open to anyone 21+))

“You're receiving a call from [T H E C I T Y] Police Department,” a robotic voice announced to the answering machine. After a moment, a beep followed, and the somewhat manic voice of Klaus Hargreeves took over.

“Heeeey, my best sibling! It's me, your favorite brother—! Listen, you know, uh—remember the old dive bar, down the street from Griddy’s? Well, the owner's an asshole, first of all. You can take that to the bank and smoke it. Apparently I was ‘disturbing the peace’ or something—” Klaus seemed to barely pause to breath, in between the lightly slurred rambling. “Swear to God—that little bitch—I was just enjoying my night when the cops showed up! I'm being—I'm being unjustly detained,” he added, raising his voice enough for said cop to hear.

In the distance, another voice could be heard. “Wrap it up, Hargreeves!”

“Listen, you gotta get me outta here. The other guy in here smells like eggs, and you know I'm a shy pooper!” Klaus quickly tried to reason. There was a pause, as the police officer said something in the background. “Alrighty, that's my cue — hey, you're gonna come get me though, right? You wouldn't leave me here, right? I'll love you forever, okay byyyye—!”

The recording cut off with a sharp click! For not the first, and definitely not the last time, Klaus was begging to be bailed out of trouble. All he could hope now was that he'd dialed the right number.

Hi everybody. I’m looking to play Klaus Hargreeves opposite a Five from The Umbrella Academy. I’m very open to plots and have a few rough ideas but I very much so like reciprocation and equal exchanges so it would be good to find a partner who is happy to eagerly plot.

The ideas include

- Klaus wakes up in the apocalypse at some point and suddenly he and Five are in this together

- 60’s story where they land together and realise they’re going to be there alone for a while. They start to build a life together that starts as a means of surviving in town to monitor the alley but quickly grows into the reason they are happy.

- Klaus as the Lila character AU where the Handler sends him in at one point or another to get close to Five, which is naturally a hard task

- Subway AU where Klaus is the one there instead of Lila.

- Time loop type situ where Five keeps resetting time over and over again to save Klaus from a self-inflicted state but when he realises the way to stop it actually happen is to help Klaus live, they begin to spend more and more time together.

- One of them is a Sparrow AU, with all that star crossed lover goodness

- I am open to any and all concepts so share your own ideas!

Things I would love to include : mutual obsession, jealousy, possession but in a cute way, addiction and relapse, PTSD, Five killing anyone who looks at Klaus wrong…

About me

I'm 21+ and looking for the same. I write multi-para to novella style and have zero limits so angst and dark themes aplenty for me! I love side characters so would adore finding a partner that is willing to explore other characters and relationships outside of the main pairing. There’s so many incredible bonds to be adored in a show like this.

"Come on, I know you've got something!"

Not seeming to realize the noise he was making, Number Four carelessly throws another item aside. Worthless, at least in the eyes of every pawn shop in town. Why didn't anyone carry cash, these days? It would make this so much easier! But no, he has to sit on the floor and dig through off-brand purses, like an idiot!

Since preventing the world from ending (no big deal), Klaus was back in his natural habitat--rummaging through someone else's things. Despite having a roof over his head these days, having his siblings bickering constantly would make anyone want to fog their brain out. Not to mention the many, many ghosts tied to that place. It is easier without dear old dad, but only just. The only problem (there's never only one problem) was, saving the world didn't exactly come with a steady cash flow. But Klaus had never had that, and still made it this far. Again, at least he has a roof tonight. With a groan of frustration, he chucks another bag aside.

"Like, I get it, everyone's going digital--but cards shut off pronto now, one bad charge and boom! Felony!" To anyone else, it would look like the man was speaking to midair, pausing and listening in between responses.

"No, I know it isn't--but you gotta think about the little guys, right? We aren't the bad guys--BINGO!" A gold necklace comes out of the next bag, making his eyes shine hungrily. "Now that's what I'm talking about!"

Suddenly, Klaus realizes he isn't alone. The shadow he'd felt fall over the door had not been another spirit, come to harass him, but a very real person. With a thud, he drops the bag he'd been rifling through, but slips the jewelry into his coat pocket.

"Oh--you came just in time, look at the mess in here!" Klaus immediately deflected, as if he too had just discovered the scene. "Someone must've come through, a thief!"
