Even though Klaroline didn't end up together, they continued to be linked regardless. Literally they had the same miracle child story and eventually their daughters came to love each other as one family ironically. If that's not soul mates ! Besides the fact that Klaus & Caroline also look a lot alike, and that in a parallel universe they are literally a couple, of course.

This scene from Truth Never Dies was the 2nd scene I planned. The only one that I wrote before this is the one that my entire story hinges on - the one where the truth is revealed... But for now, a conversation with our favorite villain -

"Your Caroline"

The way she whispered her name — Klaus wanted to rip his mother to shreds. It was only the knowledge that she carried that stayed his hands.

For now.

He had the perfect punishment planned for her. Oh! Yes. Let's see how his mother would like to become the creature she hated the most.

I finally watched Rings of Power season 1 and this show gave me vibes of other shows such as:

Blond lady meets the one who should be her enemy, and eventually they come together for purposes that seem common, it gets toxic at times, but he is almost rescued by the light, but then in the end he decides that domination and power is more important to him, both evidently have very different worldviews, so they each follow different paths, and anything that could have been different between them only lives in the hearts of their fans.

And also this: A nice guy, who in reality doesn't really belong anywhere, makes friends with the most unlikely person and with whom he shouldn't be close, but with whom he remains very good friends despite everything, and now the loyalty of this friendship will be put to the test. Klaus cleared his throat, shifting in his seat, willing his gaze away from the dangerous expanse of skin her cropped corset left exposed. 

Focus, Niklaus.

“Sweetheart,” he started, voice strained, fingers tightening around the wheel, “did you really have to wear that?”

Caroline paused, looking down at her outfit. “What? This totally screams underground supernatural club attire.”

Klaus exhaled through his nose, flicking his eyes toward her again—big mistake. The way the leather molded to her, the way her corset lifted and framed her breast—it was torture. 

“It screams something, alright,” he muttered under his breath after yanking his eyes back to the road.

“Is that a bad thing? Isn’t the whole point of tonight is to blend in?”

Klaus peeped at her again, his eyes lingering on the teasing hint of cleavage peeking from her corset.

He knew she was his—his queen, his love. But that didn’t stop the burning jealousy that flared in his chest at the thought of other people—other creatures—eyeing her the way he was right now.

Jaw clenching

Fingers gripping the wheel 

Lips curling in a possessive sneer

“You’re going to make me kill someone tonight.” he growled.
