Tumblr media
Director: Saeki Kiyoshi Screenwriter: Goro Tanada Starring: Sentaro Fushimi / Hideki Togu / Ko Oizumi / Miki Sanjo / Michiko Hoshi Country/Region of Production: Japan Language: Japanese Date: 1956-12-05 (Japan) Duration: 63 minutes Type: Retelling
Summary:
Part 2 - Sanzo, who is desperately reciting sutras, is ensnared by demonic spider threads one after another, and finally Ganjigarame. After saying that they would roast and eat him, the women went out to eat. Realizing the emergency, Goku summons the earth god and learns that the women are old spider spirits. Goku disguises himself as a hawk and steals the women's kimono, and uses this opportunity to rescue Sanzo, and after a long battle with the female monsters who have returned, he dispatches the four female monsters. Before they could feel relieved, the Taoist priest who begged for a place to stay was Hyakuganma, the female monster's older brother. The three of them except Goku collapse from the poisoned drink, but with Kannon's help, Goku defeats the centipede spirit.
However, with the news of the three female monsters who escaped, Sanzo is ambushed by the brothers Golden Horn and Silver Horn, the owners of Renge Cave. Following Hakkai, who went on a reconnaissance mission, Sanzo and Sagojyo also fell into enemy hands. Goku, who was attacked by Silver Horn, is helped by the hands of Venerable Egishi, and goes to Renge Cave after hitting Angataten. The opponents approach with a Basho fan that can blow away mountains with a single stir, a gourd that swallows people, and a hooded rope that binds people alone, but Goku fights like a lion and finally defeats Golden Horn, Silver Horn, and other fox monsters and saves them all. Sanzo and his friends aim for Tenjiku in high spirits. What will await us before that...?

Shinsengumi Members
I have decided to give a description for each Shinsengumi member I've come across. It came out of a desire to not let these members to go down as nameless persons in fandom. Those who have studied the Shinsengumi would surely know the charter members, the commanders, vice-commander and Captains of this police group as they have been a topic of various films, drama, novels, manga, anime etc. They are included here as well, along with those whom most of you haven't heard before.
As some of us know these men did not formally start out as the Shinsengumi nor did they end in that name. Most accept that the Shinsengumi started with a group of men breaking up from the Roshigumi that was ill-formed by Kiyokawa Hachiro. They will not be given the name "Shinsengumi" (Newly Selected Group) and will be known instead as "Miburoshi" (their headquarters was in Mibu village in the Yagi and Maekawa residence) until they have proven themselves worthy enough to be acknowledged by the Kyoto Protector, Matsudaira Katamori, Daimyo of Aizu and be officially sanctioned as a police force for the Bakufu. They will not retain the name however, using instead the Koyou Chibuntai (Pacification Corps) during their decline and inevitable end, at least in history.

Remix: Scary Movie- The Grudge
During 2006,  an American horror comedy film, Scary Movie 4, had been produced. This movie is the remix of really popular horror films from Japan and America. It was directed by David Zucker, written by Jim Abrahams, Craig Mazin, and Pat Proft. This film is the remix of the western culture comedy film with popular Asian, and American horror film.
I want to talk about the scene where Cindy Campbell, the main character, talks to haunted house's ghost, Toshio, learning that the answer of the alien invasion is his father's heart. Toshio Saeki is a fictional character from the Ju-on series of horror films, as well as the western franchise.
The original film of Ju-On, also known as The Grudge is a Japanese horror franchise created by Takashi Shimizu, consisting of 12 feature films. Shimizu attended the Film School of Tokyo, where he studied under Kiyoshi Kurosawa. Kurosawa helped Shimizu shepherd the Ju-On projects to fruition
Shimizu stated in an interview that the inspiration for Ju-On came from his own personal fears as a child, and from a Japanese dance group that would paint their nude bodies white and performs. Shimizu found the performance frightening and decided to "paint ghosts white". He also mentioned that the rise in the number of domestic abuse cases emerging in Japan during a production of his previous films gave him ideas about the origins of the story.
The title of the films translates roughly to "Curse Grudge", which means putting up a curse while bearing a grudge against someone or something
the classic haunted house theme, as well as a popular Japanese horror trope, the "vengeful ghost". The titular curse, Ju-on, is one which takes on a life of its own and seeks new victims. Anyone who encounters a ghost killed by the curse is killed themselves and the curse is able to be spread to other areas.
However, in the Scary Movie, they made the parody, almost the satire about this movie.
The scene starts with Cindy walks into the rumbling house and see Toshio sitting on the second floor. As she starts talking to it by saying hello. however Toshio does not answer back, she then says hello with the strong Asian accent which sounds like"herro". Then Toshio opens his mouth and starts talking to Cindy with Japanese. Japanese with Engish subtitle on the screen. However, if you hear what the ghost is saying really closely, he is just saying random Japanese words like, Honda, Civic, Sashimi, etc.. Then Cindy replies back to him with more Random Japanese words. When Toshio disappears into space, Japanese bloody words appear on the wall, but when Cindy says I cannot read that it transforms itself to English so that she can understand.
In this remix, it remixes the scary scenes with a funny situation. even though what they are actually saying is not that funny but doing some random racist issues makes it funny even though it may be offensive to some people.  Even though it can be offensive. I get the feeling that sometimes the things you should not say to certain people if that pops up on the movie very openly people find it very funny when it is not supposed to be funny. however, as a joke maybe everything or anything should be acceptable and funny. I find many people do a remix of certain original heavy and deep themed films from our past and turn it very comical using a lot of jokes and satires. I am a fairly an open person, and not get very offended by it, but I see many people get offended by such matter and sometimes I see them fight in the comment section. Then I wonder even if most of the people have their own opinion with the different mind- set, but which side is the right one to believe into. Does one's opinion really matter in this situation or the theme itself of the original movie that the producer has put in?
