Kitty calls Min Ho. It makes absolutely zero sense and their text thread consists of maybe six conversations maximum, but it’s two in the morning and his contact is right there and she knows they’re in the same time zone so she wouldn’t have to worry about scheduling conflicts and-

“Missing me already?” He greets immediately and she contemplates hanging up.

“With that attitude?” Kitty volleys back. She can’t tell if she’s feeling bold or stupid, or tired and just a little petty. She knows his feelings. She shouldn’t poke at them. “What would you do if I said yes?”

She does anyway.

min ho who claims to hate you, insists that you're the most annoying, bothersome person in his life, but is also the one who knows every little thing there is to know about you.

min ho who complains that you talk too much, that he's never given a moment of peace whenever you're around because of your incessant yapping, but he's the first person to bring up the latest episode of your favorite show. the topic sends you into an unstoppable spiral, has you going on and on and on that you don't even have the time to think about how he knew there was a new episode to begin with. min ho rolls his eyes once your rambling ends, makes a quip about how he didn't know you'd talk that much, and acts as if he hadn't been listening intently to every word that came out of your mouth. like he didn't ask you questions, brought up details from past episodes that he knows would get you to talk more.

min ho who drags you through the mud for being such a picky eater, eyes the vegetables you shove to the side of your plate with disdain, but he wordlessly reaches into your plate to pick out everything you don't like before you can do it. he leaves just enough of it, though, if he knows it's not something you're allergic to. he doesn't give you the chance to whine, claiming that your not eating of those nasty veggies is the reason for your skin breaking out. but really, min ho just wants you to eat something healthy for once.

min ho who comments on your less than decent grades, borderline making fun of you, but he gives you a copy of his meticulously written notes complete with a set of practice problems. he tells you to meet him in the library after your classes, and you find him in one of the tables tucked at the very back, away from prying eyes. he's got almost every inch of the table's surface covered with notes and books and flashcards, and you spot a bag of snacks he'd smuggle in hidden beneath. you gather the courage to ask him why he's putting in so much effort for you, and he says it's because your grades are pitiful, that he can't let anyone associated to his name horrendously failing.

min ho who confesses in the quiet of the night, just before a week long break from school when he knows no one will be checking the dorms. who remembers that you like confessions that are intimate, none of those grand, over the top gestures in public but rather, something that's shared between two people. between the only people who really matter.

it works for him, too, because in all the years he's spent dating, asking girls out left and right like it's as easy as breathing, you're the only one who's brought him to such a state. an embarrassingly deep shade of red dusting his cheeks that's thankfully hidden by the darkness of his room. the hesitation in his voice that's so unfamiliar, it tastes like acid on his tongue. the way he stumbles over his words, flailing helplessly as you stare at him wide eyed.

it's maddening, what you've done to him. how you seem to have no knowledge of just how deep his feelings run for you.

but it's worth it, min ho thinks, when your stunned expression morphs into one of delight.

it's worth it, when you take his hands into yours, clutching at his fingers for dear life as you tell him that you like him too.

it's worth it, now that you're his.

WARNINGS: i don’t think there are much, just fem! reader being labeled prettiest girl in school (hence the hatred for eachother)

⋆˙⟡♡ being labeled prettiest in independent school of seoul (KISS) was hard—everyone knew everything about eachother, everyone was up in eachother’s businesses, it was exhausting, no one knew the actual struggles you went through, and it was good you had friends who cared about you like Q and Yuri.

⋆˙⟡♡ but of course, the major problem was that fucking asshole—Min Ho, you two always fought, since first year when you were practically living with him in his dorm, it was for a good cause!!! you needed to clear your mind, but of course him with his comments, and that’s where it all started, since you were still sometimes in their dorm with Yuri

“well you look angelic in the morning.” he mumbled as you walked to the kitchen

“why is no one here?” you asked, looking around confusedly

“i let you sleep in, dumbass, you were practically about to faint last night.” he said, giving your hair a ruffle.

⋆˙⟡♡ you couldn’t lie that you grew quite fond of him, but you were still competing about everything, grades, reputation—hair for whatever reason, everything.

“so what’s your score, princess?” he asks, throwing you a smirks as he shows his big 99 on the test, but you start giggling

“yeah? i got a hundred!” you say, jumping around him all smiley and pretty, he won’t tell you that he missed one question on purpose, why would he when you’re smiling like this?

⋆˙⟡♡ days after that, you were walking in the rain, you were exhausted—so exhausted that you were crying out of tiredness, nose rosy, hands shaky as you walked slowly to the dorm.

“what are you doing, dumbass? walking like that in the rain-“ he paused as he saw you crying, sighing, he removed his jacket, not having an umbrella, he gave you the jacket—putting the hood on your head

“you-you’ll get cold.” you whimpered, looking up at him and he just rolled his eyes, pulling you into him as you two walked

“me? cold? nah, angel, can’t stand to see you freezing when you don’t have to.” he mumbled, all cocky like as he removed some wet strands of your hair in the hood

“but then you’ll get sick” you sniffled and he smirked

“since when do you care?”

“since when do you?” you hissed slightly

“i never said i don’t care.” he said “and i do—maybe more than i should.”

I just want to say that I loved the parallels of Lara Jean/Peter and Min Ho/Kitty but what I really love about the parallels is that they're not the same exact scene. Yes, they're the same settings but the scene and the experiences that Min Ho and Kitty are going through are their own and I love that ♡

a/n: i fear i couldn't resist writing for him. first work for him so there isn't others in the masterlist. i wrote this pretty quick so i apologize in case.

you always fought, but that night you didn't.

it was inevitable that when you and minho were around, some sort of bickering would ensue. it was as if the friendship you had relied on those sharp-tongued comments and eye rolls. there was some enjoyment in the banter; you could always rely on minho to be as quick-witted as you. most of the time, it was truly nonsense and comical to those around you, but sometimes he took it too far.

he would cross a boundary, known or unknown, and the aftermath was either venomous words spilling off your tongue or complete silence and avoidance.

it hurt, to ignore him. act like minho wasn't there. sure you would come around to him after a few days and pick right back up where you left off. and yes maybe it was unfair to ignore him after an argument, but that was you, that's what you did.

what you've really come to recognize is these silly little arguments hurt because you had feelings for minho. you hated the giddy feeling you had when he was around. the slight heat to your cheeks when he gave a real, genuine, compliment. the sizzling sensation that coursed through your skin when his hand brushed against you. or the way it felt like your chest was caving in on you and your lungs were screaming for help when minho confessed to q that he had a crush on someone, someone that isn't you.

so here you were avoiding him after he made an innocent remark about his crush. it shouldn't have, but it rubbed you the wrong way and perhaps it was because of the newfound knowledge of your feelings towards minho.

the evening was approaching and soon the sun would exchange places with the moon. the friday night would come alive and the sounds of eager students heading off campus would echo into the night, almost taunting you in your sadness. there was a nice footpath you've called home for the last week. after classes were finished you found yourself walking on the winding path away from school, taking in the fresh air and allowing yourself some peace. nestled a few feet away from the path was a small gazebo with a picnic table in the center. you sat down and allowed your eyes to close, soaking in the tranquility of nature away from the dizziness of life.

"hey..." a voice called out ripping you back to reality.

the voice. his voice. in this moment it made you feel sick. you swear you could feel the bile rising up and threatening to escape. your vision went white. heart beating so hard you could've sworn you saw its outline rising from your chest.

"hey minho," you exhaled as he sat across from you.

his throat bobbed, "how are you?"

you hummed in response, unsure what to say.

the silence between you stretches longer than it ever has. there was no space for quick-witted responses or light-hearted banter. minho didn't know what was the reason for your absence, but he missed you. when he looked at you your eyes didn't hold that mischief it normally possessed. he knew this was not a moment for a sarcastic quip.

"talk to me," minho nearly pleaded, eyes dancing across your face.

you paused trying to find a way to convey your thoughts to minho without confessing your feelings, "have you ever realized something too late?"

his eyebrow pulled up on his face, "well...of course, yeah. i think we all have."

"like, the thing is right there," you nearly laughed, "right in front of you the whole time. but by the time you realize, it's gone, it's moved on like everything else. i realized the importance of it too late."

you looked to minho who sat silently as you rambled. his eyes were clear of any judgment or jokes. the typical smirk etched on his lips was erased. his brows pulled softly together, a delicate ridge separating them. you watched as his hand snaked up from his lap and cradled your hand. his fingers lazily intertwining with your own.

"you know you can tell me anything," he said softly, his accent lighter.

you offered him a small smile. not a fake one, a real one. you could tell minho everything, everything but this. not when he is interested in someone else, you can't ruin that for him. can't ruin your friendship.

he sensed the hesitation, "...c'mon," he urged gently, eyes hopeful.

there was a moment of consideration as you gnawed on the inside of your mouth. the weight of your secret was becoming unbearable. all you wanted to do was scream at the top of your lungs for every person in KISS and for every star in the galaxy to hear that you were falling for minho. but before you could open your mouth and string together all the consonants and vowels for 'minho i'm falling for you' his phone rang.

minho's hand slid out from yours leaving you feeling icy but not as icy as the blood coursing through your body as you watched a shy smile adorn his face. one of his hands ran through his hair, a movement he did when he was feeling nervous, in a good way. you sat in agonizing silence waiting for him to hang up.

a pink hue dusted across his cheeks, "that was uh-"

"go," you replied softly, barely above a whisper, "have fun."

the moonlight that illuminated your face was now blocked my minho's standing figure. if you could, you wanted to be swallowed by his shadow into the darkness.

"oh. what were you going to say before the call?" minho asked.

you shook your head, "it was nothing."

Adoro i colori così luminosi in questa scena. Proprio belli da vedere, piacevoli e rilassanti.

Penso che rispecchiano la speranza di Kitty e di Min ho riguardo alla loro situazione. Non tutto è perduto. Sono amici, sono molto legati, c'è speranza perché nasca qualcosa di pi�� fra loro. Lo sperano entrambi. E credo che sotto sotto lo sentano.

Questa scena dà vibes proprio dell'inizio di grandi avventure, grandi storie. Insomma, quel tour prometterà bene per loro.
