This bill is proposed by, Richard Blumenthal and Marsha Blackburn, who is very vocal about being against LGBT ppl!

It will force everyone online who wants to use a website to UPLOAD THEIR GOVERNMENT ID AND AGE TO THE PUBLIC!

Yes they did change the language of the bill but the sentiment is still the same. It will be used for censorship no matter what they say.

THIS BILL COULD PASS THE SENATE AS SOON AS NEXT WEEK AND THEN THE HOUSE THE SAME DAY

like, the reason they’re canonically more likely to have adhd is bc their brains are hardwired for survival or whatever right, and they’re more likely to be dyslexic bc their brains are hardwired for ancient greek, and anyways that logic is kinda silly but i love it bc rick did it bc of his son’s adhd and dyslexia right. representation

anyways i think it would make sense for them to be more likely to be autistic, too

like, they tend to be more sensitive to their surroundings and pick up on things others don’t, allowing them to see through the mist. it would make sense for their brains to be really hardwired to pick up patterns and maintain strict routines ie training, etc + repetitive movements could help them out on the battlefield in the same way adhd does.

a lot of them have sort of obsessive special interests in things related to their godly parents, like nico w death, annabeth w architecture, percy w the sea, etc. plus, they tend to not feel like they “fit in” or “belong” in the real world, and before they find out abt being a demigod a lot of them think there’s something wrong w them. it’s only once they meet other ppl like them that they realize they aren’t alone

obviously a lot of this is also associated w adhd, but w rick’s logic i think this is fun to think of and makes a lot of sense! plus ✨ comorbidity ✨ exists and ppl w one disorder or condition often have others as well. adhd and autism often go hand in hand!

First off, as the year comes to a close, I want to say a few words of thanks. You see, I came back to fanom this year, not knowing my place or if I could find a place for me again.

Instead, one thing lead to another and I found a new fandom. One that, for all of it's toxic reputation- one very well earned thanks to a vocal subset within the fandom- has been ever so welcoming to me.

It has been that welcoming nature that has driven me to write over half a million words in the last twelve months. It is the eager interaction with artists and writers that the Hazbin Hotel fandom carries at its very core that makes it so much more than the negative reputation it has amassed.

It is the passion and drive of the fandom that has encouraged and rewarded me to write things I'm uncomfortable with, to write things I don't personally like or understand. It has driven me to challenge myself and broaden my writing horizons.

With that, I will be taking a short break. Just a few days where I'll be prioritizing myself, rotting on the couch, watching tv and resting. While I have enjoyed the countless challenges that Kinktomber and Smutmas provided me with but the reality is writing what amounts to a fic every other day while running a long series and having people waiting on another long series- it isn't sustainable.

So I'm going to take a few days, rest and I will be back with healthier writing habits. Just in time to drop the New Year's Kisses

While I have nothing but love for the Hazbin Hotel Fandom, there is something I would like to address. Below is a fraction of the asks I have gotten this last week. I get these types of messages a few times or so a week, nearly every week.

Why am I showing you this?

You see, I've said often for the last year that I get hate. It's a terrible side of the Hazbin community and while I suspect I know who sent at least one of these messages, and others that I have not shared. Some of it is, I believe, targeted harassment from people I once counted as friends or in the case of others, was on a friendly basis with.

That being said, in sharing these, I am breaking my own rule. You see, as a personal rule, I do not respond directly to anon hate. I do not discuss it in detail, I rarely even share it in screenshots with my friends.

There's a reason why I have this rule. You see, in sharing of anon hate, you give it life. You fan the flames. Your friends and your readers are called to defend you. It creates a storm of attention for the senders who observe from the sidelines.

The reality is- we as a fandom decide what is acceptable within it. We do not have to accept this toxic behavior. We do not have to share it. We do not have to give it life.

An abuser thrives off the power they have over you. They thrive off your reactions. They thrive of your pain. They thrive off knowing they can control the fandom, who is posting in it and what.

Personally- I do not give them that power in my space. Honestly, I recommend you don't either.

Their words mean nothing. Their hate? Worthless. At the end of the day, they're trying to crush you because they see something in you that they wish they had.

I see writers and artists leaving this fandom left and right in response to hate so here I am, airing my own dirty laundry to show that these disgusting little mites within the fandom- they're coming after more than just you. They're coming after more than just the ones sharing the hate.

If you're getting messages like these, reach out to your friends and fellow creators within your network. Lean on each other. You don't have to give it air and you also don't have to suffer in silence.

I am blessed to not have to suffer in silence. I've got @redvexillum and @nyx-umbrakinesis and many others who stand beside me, who stop me from feeling like I'm drowning in hate and burning this whole thing down. Because of their support, I don't need to respond to the hate directly.

But for you- my fellow writers and artists, I'm sharing it this one time as a reminder that you are not alone.

So may your new year's resolution be to stay, to continue creating and to continue being something they are jealous of.

Honestly the fact that Jay not only gave himself a name he thinks is cool, but the fact that he gonna probably be like a vigilante type character is kind of neat.

Not mad at this choice.

He may not remember or want to be associated with the ninja, but he gonna help them at some point, even if it takes convincing. He might come around - just what I am kind of picturing. So sort of our new version of Ronin in a way?

so I know Lift is supposed to be major POV character in 6-10, and i’m THRILLED about that. And I think Renarin and/or Rlain were promised to be big players too? I hope so bc I Need more of them.

Who else are we thinking? I feel like Gavinor for sure. there just seems like so much potential there

i am Really Hopeful for Cord and/or Gift to be others. I reeeeally wanna know more of them.

RICK AND MORTY S7 EP 10 SPOILERS

THIS EPISODE WAS SO GOOD! My favorite part is that we get more of a look into who Dianne was as a person.

I always thought that she was smart or was at least a lover of science like Rick was, considering I don’t think it’s likely Rick would have married someone who didn’t share his love of science.

We’ve been able to get hints before of what her personality might have been like through Ricks Garage:

Both have been modeled after Diane and use her voice and both of which have always been sassy or sarcastic towards him.

We also know that Summer reminds Rick of Diane as he’s said twice before in S6 Ep1 and S7 Ep 7 and we all know what Summers personality is like lol

We’ve now gotten the best glimpse at what Diane was like and a hint of what Ricks job was before he invented portal travel:

It’s seems he might have met Diane

1) while he had been working for the government and she may have also been a scientist employed by them

Or 2) she had been arrested by the robot that Rick had built while working for the feds.

(Either way both options are funny)

We see that Diane went to university and received a masters degree and probably loved science like Rick did

We see how her personality is similar to his when they join a drinking contest together, but also how Diane might have been more of a “party person” than Rick was when they were in college.

(I mean this episode suggested she was arrested by a law enforcement drone Rick built)

Considering how she comments on how he used to be a “lightweight” and later on tells him that “her dying made him cooler” (suggesting he didn’t used to be the drunk unhinged man that we’ve become so accustomed to seeing him as) we can assume that she was probably the unhinged one

IN CONCLUSION DIANE IS A SMART AWESOME BADASS WOMAN THAT NERDY YOUNG RICK FELL HEAD OVER HEELS FOR BECAUSE HE THOUGHT SHE WAS COOL IN THIS ESSAY I WILL-
