I got mad inspired while watching season 3 of The Owl House so I made an amv! This only uses clips from Season 3 (mostly eps 2 and 3) so spoiler warning!

This is the first amv I have made since high school (and those were just slideshows with music) so please be gentle with me

any of y'all ever accidentally make yourself cry with a fanfic you made in your head? cus like, sometime 2021 I made up a fic where Bluestar (warriors) gets isekaied into post season 3 kataowb Timbercat forest? as a mute, meets the cast, y'know, baseline crossever stuff. then in comes a scene where Bluestar sleeps and, through some bs I pulled together for plot convenience, meets Yumyan who is existing in a memory purgatory place after getting cured. they talk a bit, and Bluestar asks something along the lines of (paraphrasing cus I can't remember (even though this was 90% my words and not hers😭)) "Why live the life you've lived? As a mute? You're sure you wouldn't be happier as a cat?" and then Yumyan hits back with the "Life is beautiful and I'm happy I could experience it", keep in mind that this was sometime 2021 so I was in a "everything is terrible and so is sapience" state of mind (I'm good now dw) and when that line went through my head it just kept going for a hot minute before I had to take a second to cry and think abt it, It was like if Yumyan himself told me "having self awareness is good, actually" cus I have no idea where any of that came from

I find the fact that Hugo seems to be far more likely to ascribe ulterior motives to Wolf than to Kipo to be incredibly funny.

In 'All That Glitters', while Kipo is definitely doing it all out of love, everything Kipo does is an attempt to guide him towards her ideal outcome. And yet Hugo takes her at her word every time she insists otherwise. This despite her proving herself capable of outmaneuvering him (telegraphing her contingency plan in doing so) with her secret farmer rebellion in Corndog King. She played him like a fiddle in season 2 and yet in season 3 he still seems to be operating under the idea that she's too naive to ever be plotting anything behind anyone's back.

Meanwhile, Wolf is never anything but straight-forward in achieving her goals. She's consistently blunt in her methods and reasoning, yet Hugo is constantly looking for the hidden angle (that just isn't there). In 'Prahmises' he immediately assumes that Wolf tracked him down in order to interfere with his plan to assassinate Dr Emilia and is initially skeptical when she says otherwise.

All this is especially hilarious because Kipo's not even subtle. Like, at all. Like I pointed out earlier: she essentially revealed her back-up plan to Hugo while they played Corndog King and it just sailed past his radar. On the other hand, everyone else has always known that Kipo's kind actions, while genuine, are also part of Kipo's plan to bring about world peace. They just go along with it, usually because they know that trying to talk her out of it won't work. Wolf, Lio, Benson, even Dr Emilia, they all know Kipo's scheming. Hugo's the only one who somehow keeps missing the memo.

things that made me happy today

- had some nice warm choccy milk in my huge burger mug muhehe also watched dragula while i drank it man im really enjoying season 3

- ate a burger for lunch (i like the chicken and spinach ones) omñomñom my dad got them from a different place last time he went shopping and i dont like these ones as much as the ones from the usual place but alas ... they were still good theyre just not as thick and yummy

- finished watching kipo with my sister hehehe i love kipo i always cry my eyes out watching the last episode (and my sister did too ofc)

- watched a few vento aureo episodes with my sister (a few years ago we watched up to episode 38 and she forgor everything that happened so we had to start watching part 5 from the beginning even though i tried to remind her of what was going on)

- rewatched the drag race spain 4 finale bc my friend was watching it for the first time and i wanted to relive it with her !!!!

- chilled hard listening to some music and stared at a candle for a bit (when i got tired of reading lyrics) (it smells so good my sister comes to my room sometimes just to grab it and smell it)

- had dinnar and watched some gokushufudou with my sister hehe we got to the part i havent watched or read so it's very silly to watch it for the first time with my sister yippppeeee

Also bit of a headcanon that Their a emperor scorpia(They are in West Africa...) Idk, maybe other scorpians would assume, or another animal incorrectly guessing. I couldn't find a scorpian in austrailio I liked. Emperor sounded cool- and no ones arguing with me... Ik its someones pet peeve, but hey from reddit the show sucked, and I might still enjoy watching it. My work is gonna be as bad as the writing, also how friendly empoerer scorpians are HAH XD

I kinda added that their was a disease that just never gets talked about, and eveyrones just, monotone, tired, depressed, something with slow mating cycles and infertility and miscarriges.......... From what I learned empowers are usually aggressive after giving birth, so maybe that anger is channeled to fighting, belief of a lord that is survival and nature is cruel. or smth dark, and oc in the makaign for that.

Concept writing of my oc with a placeholder name Magma- for volcano room

Magma is self-aware and quiet, easily accepting of failures, and accepts that not everyone will be a good person and do what they're fully capable of, but they understand they should still stand up for others. They like to argue when they fully research a specific topic, and will trauma dump at a moment's notice to keep the conversation going, they are extremely sensitive so any jokes at others' expense, just when it's directed at them – they quit side eyes – but with someone else is also in the butt of the joke they'll sting. They tend to hold grudges rather than holding others' hands out of awkwardness, having a hard time asking for help. They can bottle all their emotions up, and that leads to… More panic attacks and stinging a frog{Fear of water from threatening to be drowned from an accidental party bash, and misses the hot springs gifted from Chinese scorpion} they acted on it from stinging a frog helping them get to the other side{inspired by Tumblr short story{Lost it}.. They struggle with misinformation, everyone knowing the obvious royalty or power core, and the struggle of political disinterest and being the eldest to have to take the crown and responsibility. He can be bitter about others being wrong or not that self-aware, always keeping to themselves, but the inevitable panic of intrusive thoughts of accidentally murdering someone. They Value and adore it when people like them and know their bad, or even stay, to be listened to is nice and they can only be so much. They can come across as sweet, sometimes a bit obvious to their surroundings, or forgetful souls, but on other occasions, they can play the oblivious card. While plating obliviousness has its wins when seen as stupid, they tend to be insecure about the existence of their responsibility, but not exactly knowing how to not be the cause of corruption, assassinated siblings, letting things go bad, or secretly being power-hungry. Despite all of this, their family loves the self-isolating ‘Sun’ Daughter, and the people see them as having humility and being well educated but a person(forgetting, being neutral and self-aware of their bias on their interviews in boarding school.). They put others' needs before themselves, the weaker their friends, but an enemy could just die.
