A Kuliari Thanksgiving Feast!

A return to the reef in episode 2, but this time at night. I went ham designing the food for this scene. I wanted all the dished to be uniquely nautical, crazy and whimsical. There are SO many different dishes depicted in this short scene.

Hey there fellow Kulipari fans, I watched on hulu the 3 episodes for a King Rises, and was hoping theres some more coming along the way, but am slightly disappointed to find out that there was only going to be 3 seasons. Can anyone prove me wrong on this? i feel like there were a lot of plot points left unfinished in the series and am hoping they get further delved into. Honestly though im just glad we even got another season.

The third season of Kulipari was terrible. It was heavily rushed. It would've been better if it had a higher episode count.

Kulipari: A King Rises - Lizard Scroll Flashback

This is a quick flashback scene I illustrated for A King Rises episode 3. The script made no mention of how Killara obtained the Lizard scroll, so we had to come up with a fast solution as to how he got it. We decided a quick illustrated flashback would be enough. The shot where they obtained the sword (as seen here) is supposed to be a hokey ohmage to 80s epic fantasy movie posters and the like, however someone in production got cold feet last minute and took the kids out of the shot.
