Tumblr media
In today’s fast-paced world, the demand for convenient, efficient, and secure banking solutions has risen dramatically. As digital banking becomes the norm, services such as online kiosk banking are revolutionizing the way individuals and businesses manage their finances. Offering a hybrid approach that combines traditional banking with digital solutions, Kiosk Banking Service Online provides users with access to various banking functions without the need for physical branches. In this article, we will explore the key benefits of online kiosk banking, how digi kiosk self-service is transforming the banking landscape, and why it’s an ideal solution for users looking for Free Digital Account opening and Instant account opening.
What is Online Kiosk Banking?
Online kiosk banking is a financial service that allows users to access banking services through digital kiosks located in strategic places like retail outlets, shopping centers, and public spaces. These kiosks are equipped with various digital tools that enable users to perform financial transactions such as deposits, withdrawals, balance inquiries, and bill payments without having to visit a bank branch. It is particularly useful in areas where there is limited access to traditional banking infrastructure.
The convenience and ease of use make online kiosk banking an excellent option for people who may not have access to online banking or smartphones, offering them a secure way to manage their money. Additionally, kiosk banking can be an invaluable resource for businesses that need to offer quick banking solutions to their customers.
The Benefits of Online Kiosk Banking
Accessibility for All: One of the primary benefits of online kiosk banking is its accessibility. These kiosks are often placed in rural or semi-urban areas where there are few or no bank branches. By making banking accessible to all, regardless of location, online kiosks help bridge the gap between traditional banking and the unbanked or underbanked population. This form of banking has empowered people who may not have easy access to a smartphone or the internet to conduct basic financial transactions. With Kiosk Banking Service Online, even individuals without internet connections can enjoy the benefits of modern banking services.
Ease of Use with Digi Kiosk Self-Service: The integration of digi kiosk self-service has made online kiosk banking incredibly user-friendly. With intuitive interfaces and step-by-step instructions, users can perform transactions independently, without requiring assistance from a bank employee. This not only saves time but also empowers customers by giving them direct control over their financial activities. Whether it’s making a deposit, checking account balances, or transferring funds, digi kiosk self-service simplifies banking processes, reducing the need for long queues or waiting times at traditional branches.
Instant Account Opening: Another major advantage of online kiosk banking is the ability to provide an instant account opening facility. Users can quickly open a bank account via the kiosk, complete with all necessary documentation and identification verification. This is particularly useful for those who need immediate access to banking services, as they can have a functional account within minutes. The process is seamless and efficient, providing a hassle-free way for individuals to get started with digital banking. No longer do people have to wait for days to get their accounts activated; they can now enjoy instant financial inclusion through Kiosk Banking Service Online.
Free Digital Account Opening: One of the most attractive features of kiosk banking is the option for Free Digital Account opening. Many banks offer zero-balance accounts that can be opened through online kiosks, allowing individuals to enter the financial system without any upfront costs. This is particularly beneficial for students, daily wage earners, and small business owners who may not be able to maintain high minimum balances. The Free Digital Account opening process is simple, requiring minimal documentation and offering features like debit cards, online banking access, and mobile banking services. This democratization of banking is a key factor in promoting financial inclusion across various demographics.
Convenient Transactions Anytime, Anywhere: Kiosk banking operates 24/7, providing round-the-clock access to banking services. This is especially important for individuals who may not have time to visit a bank during regular business hours. With online kiosk banking, users can perform essential transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, and fund transfers at any time of the day or night. Moreover, kiosks are strategically located in convenient places like supermarkets, railway stations, and marketplaces, ensuring that banking is just a few steps away, even in remote areas.
Safe and Secure Transactions: One of the concerns with any banking service is security, and online kiosk banking is no exception. However, advanced security measures like biometric authentication, PIN codes, and secure networks ensure that all transactions conducted through these kiosks are safe. Users can trust that their financial data is protected, and their transactions are processed without any risks. The digi kiosk self-service platform also incorporates safety protocols to ensure that only authorized individuals can access their accounts, making it a secure option for all.
The Role of Online Kiosk Banking in Financial Inclusion
Online kiosk banking plays a vital role in promoting financial inclusion by offering banking services to underserved populations. In regions where traditional banks may not be present, kiosks act as micro-banking units, providing essential financial services at the local level. Through Kiosk Banking Service Online, users can enjoy the benefits of modern banking without the need for a full-fledged bank branch.
The digi kiosk self-service model empowers individuals to manage their money, make payments, and access credit facilities, contributing to economic growth at the grassroots level. when I moved to Finland in 2008 it was to such a rural area that there were like 6 houses on the street I lived on, a bus stop that was more like a sixty+ year old crumbling wooden shed (bus came 4 times a day and the driver only spoke Finnish) and, importantly to this story, at the junction to the bigger road the bus stop was actually on, was an osuuspankki. nothing else around for a couple of kilometres. just this little square op bank building, and a few metres down the road, the bus stop
anyway I opened an account with them to put my meagre salary into and sixteen years later I still have and use the protective card sleeve they gave me for my debit card

Rural Finland gothic
the asphalt road you are driving has been cut through the woods. the sky is clouded and grey, the asphalt is grey, the forest on both sides of you is green. no other colour exists other than green and shades of grey. sometimes blue roadsigns point towards places whose names you've never heard. you don't google them. it's none of your business.
sometimes you drive past a house, a wooden house painted white, yellow or red. the paint is faded and chipping, there is moss growing on the roof tiles. there are lace curtains in the windows and a bench on the yard, but you cannot tell by the quick glance you get whether the house is abandoned or not. the residents don't want you to know. it's none of your business.
you pause at a gas station. it seems to be a part of a chain that you thought went bankrupt in the 90s. a handful of those wooden houses are settled around it, and you wonder if any of the people living there work at the station. not that it matters. it's none of your business.
there are a handful of locals gathered inside the gas station, drinking coffee at the table. They smell like pine soap, resin and mosquito repellent, and you can't tell whether paused their conversation to silently stare at you when you stepped in, or whether they had been sitting in silence to begin with. you don't ask. it's none of your business.
the station cashier doesn't talk to you save for a greeting and a few quick nods. you can't tell whether it's because they assume you don't speak finnish. they don't ask where you came from, or where you're going. it's none of their business.
the road leads you somewhere with more houses and buildings. the locals don't call the town by the name. it's just church town, the church is there. people don't say they're going to the town to buy their groceries, they say they'll be at the church. you're not sure whether the town was built around the church or the church was built into the town. It's none of your business.
people talk of going to the church when they're going to the town, but nobody seems to go in the church. people only go there to be christened, for confirmation, to get married and to be buried. a child has not been officially named before they're christened, and no-one will tell you the name of their baby before the child has been given their name by a priest. most of them don't seem to know why, and you don't ask. it's none of your business.
even the town is strangely quiet. you see seven people altogether, and half of that number is a family of four. besides the sound of a car rumbling by, and the occasional barking of a dog, you hear nothing. you're standing in the parking lot of a grocery store, across the street from a library, in a walking distance from the town square, and it's so quiet you hear the sound of wind whispering in nearby trees.
there is a dog barking somewhere. of course they are barking, they are guard dogs and hunting dogs. they're supposed to do that. they bark to alert their masters of game, of intruders, of strangers and outsiders. sometimes they bark at the woods, when it doesn't look like there's anything there. the locals don't go investigate it. it's none of their business.
you see the same symbol drawn, doodled and carved anywhere that graffiti accumulates to. an oval divided in the middle, with rays like a sun. it's called the "church boat", though everyone knows it's meant to be a cunt. you remember reading somewhere that it's an ancient symbol, from the time of the Old Gods before the christians came, when the inherent power of the woman of the house was considered stronger than even death magic. you don't ask what the people here know about this. it's none of your business.
the locals can tell you're an outsider here because you don't look like anyone they know. if you were someone's visiting grandchild, they could tell by your face which clan you belong to. they don't ask you what other business you could possibly have here. it's none of their business.

How does the PNB CSP registration help applicants?
PNB CSP registration can help applicants submit their CSP applications to work as a Bank Mitra of the Punjab National Bank. Additionally, submitting genuine and detailed information about them as well as their retail outlets can help banks process their applications not only quickly but also favorable to the applicants. All nationalized banks in India request applicants to register themselves with them before sending their CSP applications, so the Punjab National Bank also follows the same procedure while considering CSP applications for approval.
The PNB CSP registration typically involves the process of registering as a Customer Service Point for the Punjab National Bank. Although the bank has many branches in urban areas, it aims to extend its banking services to all corners of the country. This is the main reason behind the opening of customer service points by the bank in the country’s rural and remote areas. It also helps them considerably in minimizing its overall expenses that involve opening its branch offices in those areas.  PNB is dedicated to providing its customer service points with all the required technical as well as financial support to facilitate its CSPs to provide efficient banking services to the public. It offers them not only an attractive monthly basic pay but also handsome commissions for their services rendered to the people in rural areas.
Above all, the CSP registration process helps the Punjab National Bank get precise information about its applicants as well as the infrastructure available in their proposed CSP outlets. It helps the bank make knowledgeable decisions on appointing its bank CSP provider. Although the CSP registration process varies between banks, the Punjab National Bank follows the common guidelines as laid down by the banking industry. The bank also has its own selection processes when choosing its service providers.
Any loyal and sincere Bank CSP provider of the Punjab National Bank will be capable of earning a substantial amount of money as monthly income. The bank also permits its customer service points to provide their customers with other essential services in addition to its basic banking services. They may include accepting the payment for utility bills, DTH recharges, mobile recharges, as well as other services required to be performed by the public.  With the dedicated and prompt services, these CSP providers of PNB will also get a lot of incentives as well as financial support not only from the bank but also from the government.
All nationalized banks in India identify and select CSP providers based on certain norms, such as their place, infrastructure, and inclination to partake in the program. They also go through an onboarding process, which may consist oftraining on banking processes, and regulations, as well as the exploitation of relevant technology.
They will also set up the necessary infrastructure, which may comprise computers, biometric devices, internet connectivity, and secure banking software. These CSP providers thus act as an energetic bridge between old-style banking services and remote or unbanked communities, nurturing financial inclusion as well as promoting the economic growth of banks as well as the country.

What exactly is kiosk banking registration?
Tumblr media
Kiosk Banking Registration refers to the process by which an individual or entity registers with a bank to become an authorized Kiosk Banking CSP or Customer Service Point. Kiosk banking, also known as BCSPs or banking through customer service points, is a service provided by banks to extend their reach to unbanked or underbanked areas through third-party agents.
Customer service point as well as kiosk banking registration aligns with the broader goal of the banking industry to ensure access to financial services for all segments of society. When both registration processes are made simpler, it will lead to a positive reputation. It means that a simplified CSP and kiosk registration, as well as the application process, can enhance the bank's reputation as an inclusive and accessible financial institution. This can improve the bank's standing in the community and among potential customers. In general, simplifying these two processes can lead to a range of benefits that contribute to the growth and efficiency of banking services, especially in areas where access to traditional banking is limited.
Whether you apply for CSP registration or kiosk registration, you may need to come across various steps, including:
· Eligibility Check
· Application Submission
· Documentation
· Due Diligence
· Approval and Agreement
On approval of CSP and kiosk banking applications after registration, you may need to undergo comprehensive training on the operation of these outlets. However, all nationalized banks in the country will provide training to the selected candidates to help them do their tasks efficiently and effortlessly. The training will make sure that the CSP and kiosk outlet operators get the knowledge they need to perform their daily tasks according to the specifications of the banks. The training also helps the chosen candidates familiarize themselves with the nature of products, services, as well as operational procedures of the banks. It can help them commence the operations efficiently, as well.
However, when you intend to apply for CSP registration or kiosk registration, the specific requirements as well as the procedures may vary between banks and regions. Therefore, interested parties need to contact the specific bank they wish to partner with for detailed information and guidance on the registration process.

Banks are making heavy investments in cutting-edge kiosk technology that provides clients with value-added services like mobile banking, contactless payments, and cash recycling. The efficiency, security, and accessibility of bank kiosks will be significantly enhanced by these innovations, making them a crucial component of the financial ecosystem. ATMs, video terminals, and self-service kiosks are other subcategories of bank kiosks. One of its key benefits is the potential of bank kiosks to increase operational efficiency in banking. Banks aim to cut wait times, speed up transaction times, and free up bank tellers to handle more complicated transactions by automating basic operations.
Cost-effectiveness is another important benefit of bank kiosks. Bank kiosks lighten the pressure on bank tellers, enabling the banks to employ fewer people and cut their operating expenses. Moreover, bank kiosks process several transactions at once, improving the effectiveness of banking operations. In order to increase consumer access and save administrative costs, several banks have responded by putting bank kiosks at various places. Further increasing their appeal to clients, ATMs have improved in terms of security, dependability, and user-friendliness thanks to technological improvements.

To be eligible, a person must be an Indian citizen above the age of 21 and have at least 10 A-level educational qualifications. The Pizza Delivery Girl's Survival Guide to Gotham City Update
Pairing: Jason Todd x Reader
Newest chapter
AO3 Link
Summary:
People who lived outside of Gotham City would most often think of it in terms of its heroes and villains. About Batman and Robin, Joker and Harley Quinn.
People who actually live in Gotham City would only think of one thing: surviving.
Who cares about the people in costumes when your house has been bombed for the fifth time, or your wife has been taken hostage just because she worked in a bank?
Or, in your case, when you have to make regular deliveries to places where even Batman feared to tread?
Because let's face it. In a world full of superheroes and costumed villains, the real heroes are the ones who make sure that people get their pizzas in forty-five minutes or less.
Chapter Preview:
You paused on the bridge that hung high above the Burrow, and for the first time in your life, you felt a terror was so great that it made your throat close.
Gotham City had never looked so beautiful. From such a height, the burning neon lights looked like stars.
But above your head, the sky looked pitch black. It made you think of the bodies that would sometimes wash up on Gotham Bay’s shores, black and bloated with rot. It made you think of  the shadows of inmates in the asylum, their voices like the skittering of insects, rising and falling as you passed them by.
It made you think of the night Timothy Young died, and you wondered that if, back then, there had been light enough that he saw the shadow of a monster fall over him.
You wondered if he had time to understand what was happening, before he started against the concrete below. And then decided decided that it didn’t matter: you would understand If Francine Langstrom came for you, you would know.
You would understand what was happening to you before you hit the ground.
Your skull splitting open, the pink-grey ropes of your brain scattering on the concrete. And the thousand pictures that follow. Your death turned into a spectacle and a profit.
Just like Tim Young’s.
The thought made you freeze. You were standing in front of one of the many wooden bridges that connected the rooftops of abandoned buildings. The Burrow’s infamous floating night market. Set up by dusk and torn down by dawn, only to rise up again the next night, the floating night market was one of the Burrow’s main attractions. A bustling collection of kiosks made out of cheap plywood and tarpaulin, it was said that you could find anything there, so long as you didn’t ask too many questions: cheap phones, likely stolen from someone off the street, fake licenses, a sample of Bane’s Venom for impatient bodybuilders. It was set high up in the air, amidst the rooftops of many abandoned buildings, connected by a series of rickety wooden bridges.
But now the rooftops were empty. The bridges were falling apart, its wooden planks dangling precariously from their ropes. The empty kiosks had been left to rot in the constant rain. You could even see some of the abandoned merchandise, left behind  in people’s haste to pack up: an old, broken phone, children’s toys hanging forlornly on strings, obviously meant to be prizes in a game, now swelling with rainwater. Mold grew on their cotton bodies like new fur.
Timothy Young’s death had transformed the Burrows’ floating night market into a ghost town. The thought made you feel a little lonely, picking through the bones of a dead market, looking to find a monster.
Francine, The voice in your head sounded like Professor Langstrom’s. Her name is Francine Langstrom.
The buzz of static cut through your thoughts as cleanly as a falling blade. And then Jason’s voice was in your ear.
“Last chance to back out of this.”
His voice was rough, even taking into account the poor connection and the voice modulators he used. Maybe he was scared, too. The thought eased you somewhat, to know that you were not alone.
Even through the poor connection, you could hear the strain in his voice. You cast a glance at the direction where he was supposed to be, tried to look for even a hint of him: the faint glow of his helmet, the hulking figure of his silhouette. But you found no sign of him. Still, knowing that he was there made you feel better.
You raised a hand and hoped that he would not see the way your fingers trembled.
And waved.

Top Benefits of Online Kiosk Banking for Rural and Urban Communities
Tumblr media
In today’s digital era, banking services are evolving rapidly to meet the needs of customers from all walks of life. Whether it’s an urban city or a remote rural area, access to efficient and user-friendly banking is essential. One of the innovations that’s transforming banking accessibility is online kiosk banking. This service bridges the gap between traditional banking and digital convenience, offering essential banking services through digital kiosks. The impact of online kiosk banking has been felt particularly in rural areas where access to traditional banking can be limited, but it also offers immense value to urban communities seeking faster and more convenient services.
In this Article, we will explore the top benefits of online kiosk banking for both rural and urban communities, with a focus on how services like free digital account opening, instant account opening, and other features are making financial inclusion easier for all.
Top Benefits of Online Kiosk Banking
1. Ease of Access with Free Digital Account Opening
One of the standout features of online kiosk banking is the availability of free digital account opening. For individuals who previously lacked access to formal banking, digital kiosks provide an opportunity to open a bank account without visiting a physical branch. This is especially beneficial for rural communities where bank branches may be far and few between.
Through kiosk banking service online, individuals can walk up to a digital kiosk located at a nearby store, community center, or even a small business outlet, and easily set up an account. The process is fast, free, and removes the traditional barriers associated with opening a bank account, like geographical distance and paperwork.
This service is equally valuable for urban dwellers who may not have time to visit a bank. With instant account opening, users can manage their finances efficiently without waiting in long queues or submitting excessive documentation.
2. Instant Account Opening for Quick Financial Inclusion
In today's fast-paced world, people need banking services that are efficient and timely. Online kiosk banking makes this possible through instant account opening, allowing users to open accounts and access banking services in a matter of minutes. This quick setup can be a game-changer, especially for small business owners, daily wage workers, and individuals in both rural and urban areas who need immediate financial assistance.
With the rise of platforms like Digi Khata, the process of instant account opening is made simple and straightforward. The user-friendly interface allows individuals to open an account with minimal documentation, enabling financial inclusion across diverse populations.
3. Kiosk Banking Service Online Promotes Financial Literacy
Financial literacy is an important aspect of economic growth, and online kiosk banking plays a vital role in educating individuals about digital banking and financial management. In many rural areas, people are unfamiliar with traditional banking services or digital tools. Kiosks serve as both a service provider and an educational platform, helping people understand how to manage their accounts, transfer funds, and use digital payment methods.
Through kiosk banking service online, customers can also avail of services like create UPI ID online, which further promotes the adoption of digital payment systems. As digital transactions become more popular, kiosks can act as educational hubs where customers can learn how to securely manage their finances online.
4. Digi Kiosk Self-Service: Convenient Banking at Your Fingertips
One of the standout advantages of online kiosk banking is the availability of digi kiosk self-service. These self-service kiosks allow individuals to perform essential banking tasks such as depositing or withdrawing money, paying bills, and checking account balances without needing a teller.
For rural communities, this is a significant advancement, as it provides banking services where no physical branches may exist. For urban communities, digi kiosk self-service offers the convenience of accessing banking services outside traditional banking hours. Whether it's a busy professional in a city or a farmer in a remote village, kiosks ensure that everyone can manage their finances on their own schedule.
5. Open Zero Balance Account for Financial Inclusion
Financial inclusion is a key goal of online kiosk banking, and services like the option to open zero balance account make it accessible to a broader range of people. Traditionally, banks required a minimum balance to open an account, which discouraged many individuals, especially in rural and economically disadvantaged areas, from using banking services.
With online kiosk banking, users can now open zero balance accounts without the burden of maintaining a minimum balance. This is particularly beneficial for low-income earners, students, and homemakers who may not have a regular income stream. Platforms like Digi Khata make this process seamless, allowing everyone to enjoy the benefits of formal banking services.
6. Create UPI ID Online for Easy Payments
Digital payments have become the norm, and the ability to create UPI ID online through online kiosk banking further simplifies financial transactions. Unified Payments Interface (UPI) is a revolutionary platform that allows users to send and receive money instantly. With online kiosk banking, customers can quickly set up their UPI ID and begin making transactions without needing to visit a bank.
The ability to create UPI ID online is beneficial for both rural and urban customers. For rural communities, this means greater participation in the digital economy, as they can make payments and transfers without dealing with physical cash. For urban dwellers, it adds a layer of convenience, making daily financial transactions faster and more secure.
7. Empowering Small Businesses and Entrepreneurs
Small businesses and entrepreneurs, especially in rural areas, often face challenges accessing financial services. Online kiosk banking provides a lifeline by offering convenient banking solutions such as instant account opening and zero balance accounts. Entrepreneurs can also benefit from UPI payments by setting up their UPI ID through kiosks, allowing them to accept digital payments from customers.
This digital transformation fosters entrepreneurship in rural areas, where traditional financial systems may not be as easily accessible. In urban settings, the same services offer convenience and speed, allowing business owners to focus on growth rather than paperwork and banking formalities.
Conclusion
In conclusion, online kiosk banking offers immense benefits to both rural and urban communities. From free digital account opening and instant account opening to the ability to create UPI ID online and open zero balance accounts, this service is revolutionizing access to banking. You stare at your phone. It can’t be. After everything else going wrong, you can’t deal with Floyd. It suddenly makes sense why he was messing around with your phone. Ew, he’s kind of a creep.
You don’t answer and put the phone away. Well. You have no money, you’re about to have no home, and your milk is spoiled. Don’t panic. You can figure this out. You’re an adult, aren’t you?
First, go to the bank. You need milk. Once you have a coffee, you’ll worry about the whole eviction thing. You leave the convenience store and open Maps to look for the nearest bank kiosk. Not too far, one block. At least you’re getting your steps in.
You follow the directions on screen and turn to cross the road. You’re so distracted, you forget to look both ways and nearly get hit by a gleaming bumper. You wave a head but don’t look up. You need to get to the bank.
You come up to the pulsing blue dot and glance around. Huh. You don’t see a bank. You turn around and face the ATM built into the side of the building. Oh goddang! You walked to a bank machine, not a bank. Is it you? Are you the problem?
You drop your shoulders. Alright. You’ll just try again. You scroll to the next location and spin around, nearly colliding with a new wall. Oh, not a wall, a person.
You look up at Mr. Henson as he watches you with a line between his brows. Somehow, you’re not very surrpised. This guy is everywhere. It’s almost like he has no hobbies.
“Oh, hi, sorry, excuse me, I’m just on my way to the bank--”
“Ah, running short? Need me to spot ya?” He raises his hand, showing a black credit card.
“Um... noooo,” you utter in confusion. The other day, you ran off after calling him names. You really don’t believe he’s changed his stripes. He’s still a snarling tiger getting ready to feast. “Thanks, but I--”
“Things are tight. Job market’s trash, housing isn’t any better, and those banks,” he whistles and puts his card away, “they like to fuck around, don’t they?”
You look at him, scrunching your face up.
“Y-yeah. Weirdly, I did just get a notice to...” your voice trails off. “Why are you bugging me?”
“Bugging you?” His brows pop up and he guffaws, “oh, sweet lips, you’re funny, you know that?”
“Yeah, I know few jokes but--”
“Think a little harder, cupcake,” he lowers his timber and stares at you.
You blink and wet your lips, pushing them together. Think about what?
“Look, about yesterday--”
“I’m talking about today,” he insists.
“Sure, uh...”
“Do I really need to spell this out for you?”
“Spell what out?” You cringe, clawing for some hint of what he means.
“Your bank card isn’t working, right?” He asks, you nod. “You’re getting evicted.” Another nod. “You have no job.”
You make a face, “yes, okay. Rub it in. Alright. I get it. You’re some important guy and I’m a loser. Don’t worry. You own this city but I think I’m on my way out.”
He sighs and presses his fingers flat on either side of his nose. He drops them and opens his eyes again, “it was me. I’m the reason you—Don't you understand what I can do to you? I got you fired, kicked out, and poor in one day. What else do you think I could do?”
Your chest hollows out and your stomach lurches. What? Him? He just doesn’t stop.
“Sir, what—why would you—I'm sorry I called you a meanie. I was upset and the coffee, I tried--” You sniffle and shudder out a half-sob, “I didn’t mean to.”
“Yeah, well, you shoulda shut those sweet lips and opened those ears, huh?” He grins, “look, cupcake, you’re not going anywhere. You try to run back to your family, I’ll find you. Your mom’s a good lady, you shouldn’t trouble her. She doesn’t make enough teaching brats to put up with another one.”
“My mom—how--”
He spins his finger in the air, “catch up, honey bun. Alright? This is it. I’ll lay it out real clear for you, right now. You have no money, no home, you have nothing. You are nothing.” He jabs his finger at you, “so, I can solve all your problems and make you something.”
You look around. There’s really no way out. He’s a psychopath. You think. You don’t really know the difference between that and sociopath.
“Are you like CIA or something?” You ask.
He scoffs and flinches, “oh man, you are something else. Really, each time you open that mouth, I’m blown away by the idiocy. Rather just get blown, you get it?”
You shake your head and pout.
“Look, I think we can sort this out, Floyd. Really, I’m really sorry and I understand now. I get it. You’re very important and I messed up. I’m nothing and I did everything wrong. And from the bottom of my heart, I apologise. So, can I please have my life back?” You say, “I think we’d both be happier if we just went on our way and never saw each other again.”
His eyes dart away and he stares into the distance. Exasperation wrinkles above his brow and he looks back to you, hands on his hips, “too late, buttercup. So, let me put it as plain as I can. You don’t get a choice. You belong to me now. Just like everything else in this city. You are mine.”
“You can’t... do that.”
“I am doing that,” he insists. “Another thing,” he raises his hand, showing his palm, “it’s Lloyd.” He emphasizes the consonants of his name, “Lloyd Hansen. You can call me sir or Mr. Hansen. Hell, if we’re getting frisky, you can call me daddy.”
“Ugh,” you groan in disgust and curl your lip.
“Ugh?” He mimick the noise, “I’m about to--” He shakes his hand and sucks in the end of his sentence, “fine. Show, don’t tell. Got it.”
You cry out as suddenly he lunges at you. He grabs you by the back of the neck and hauls you forward down the sidewalk. He marches beside you as you writhe and paw at his large hand. You whimper, helpless as pedestrians move out of your path.
“Your mouth got you into trouble, now let’s see if it can get you out,” he growls.

Mum asked for a burger since she wasn’t too hungry, so I went to McDonald’s Singapore to buy her one. Picked two burger meals from the McSaver Meals range which cost between S$5 to S$6 depending on which of the three you selected. With food prices going up and up, it is good to be able to enjoy a meal without breaking the bank.

Got myself the Double Cheeseburger Meal (S$6) which includes a medium French Fries and a gassy drink which I promptly changed to a small Mocha Frappé (top up S$1.25). Love the juicy 100% beef patties with cheese, onions, pickles, mustard and a dollop of tomato ketchup, all in a perfectly soft bun.

Mum was craving for her black coffee so when I bought her the Filet-O-Fish Meal (S$5.50), I swapped her cold drink to that of a Black Coffee. Also changed the fries to the new mildly spiced Potato Pops by adding one dollar.

On checking out at the online order kiosk, I was given a few selections with some discount, so I picked up the just released Corn Pie for S$1.60. The creamy sweet corn filling reminded me of the canned corn kernels. I think I tasted coconut milk in there too. Overall, I found it to be pleasant tasting and agreeable to my palate.
