I think I’ve gotten to a point where I stopped caring what people think of me but it doesn’t mean negative, judgmental or critical comments still hurt because it does sometimes. Cruel by Intention

I don't get it. I don't understand why people aren't just naturally kind and thoughtful of others. I don't understand how you can walk by ANY living thing struggling and not try to help. I don't understand this "new wave" of unawareness and self righteousness that is floating across the hemisphere. If no one has noticed, our race is responsible for all the disaster in this world. In case people have forgotten, there is more than just you out here fighting. We're ALL our here fighting. No matter how the big the smile or rich the pockets, everyone has their own battle. We are all slaves to our minds and thoughts. We are all human and we all bleed. There is no weakness in love, kindness and generosity. There is no weakness in compassion and understanding. There is absolutely NO weakness in being a good person. Being caring despite the way the world appears, doesn't make you weak. You are strong because you choose to be kind. You are strong because you choose love despite all odds. A change doesn't happen over night, it starts with one. It starts with a gesture. It starts with you and it starts with me.
